Sesshomaru stood there growling at the new arriving male, daring him to even move a muscle towards his mate, so he could rip out that tongue of his from his foul mouth. The only thing stopping the lord from doing so at the moment was his concern for his mate and unborn pup currently in his hands.

Noticing that the situation was going to escalate any second as soon as one of the two opposing males made the first move, Lord Kyrion decided to intercept for the well being of his daughter.

"Now is not the time for this, we must first ensure the well being of Kagome" Lord Kyrion commanded attention, "Come lord Sesshomaru I will take you to a room in which my midwives can assist in the birth."

Immediately turning around the Eastern Lord began moving towards a hallway and shouting commands to his servants to prepare the birthing room.

Still engaging in the growling contest, Sesshomaru's attention was taken away by a cry of pain from Kagome. Without another thought he began to fallow the Eastern Lord, all thoughts about the other male forgotten.

Finally reaching the desired room, Lord Kyrion walked in observing as the servants were frantically placing the final touches to the room.

Walking right past Lord Kyrion, Sesshomaru moved to the center back of the room and placed Kagome on the large bed.

"AHhugg" She cried out in pain, eyes closed, trying to concentrate in staying awake and keeping the pain away.

"Mate, look at me" Sesshomaru whispered in the gentles voice he had ever made.

With all her power Kagome fought the need to close her eyes at the waves of pain ripping through her body, and starred into Sesshomaru's eyes. Her own showing fear.

"Don't worry mate, I will be here," He said calming her fears. Sesshomaru leaned down and kissed her forehead whispering something only for Kagome's ears, "Always".

"Ahhugg" Another wave of pain ripped through her body, but instead of closing her eyes in fear once more, she reached out and held on to Sesshomaru's hand.

The doors closed catching Sesshomaru's attention, as shouts were heard from the other side, "You can't keep me away from her…"

Displeased Sesshomaru growled at Lord Kyrion in warning, "Do not fret Lord Sesshomaru, he will not be allowed in here while Kagome is in this condition, however, this situation must be resolved later on."

Sesshomaru would have threatened the other Lord if not for the fact that his mate tightened her hold on his hand.

"Sesshomaru…. Please… Just fucking stay with me" she pleaded to him.

"Ahguu"

"The pup is coming now!" Said a midwife from the side approaching Kagome.

"Permission my Lord" she asked respectfully before daring to touch Kagome, knowing how protective males where when their mates were pupped.

Sesshomaru nodded his head, and the midwives began to work.

For another 20 minutes all was heard were cries of pain and curses at a certain lord for doing this to Kagome. Until finally the room went still for a second, before it was filled with the cries of a new born.

I found myself being brought out from a peaceful sleep by the almost soundless taps of boots on the floor. My hands moved around a silky material covering my body as my mind woke up to the world around me. Finally opening my eyes, I was amazed at the sight in front of me.

There, a few feet away from my bed was Sesshomaru slowly pacing around while looking down at a small pup, our pup, held in his hands. My hear almost exploded when a tinny hand reached out and pulled at Sesshomaru's hair as he examined his father.

Our pup!

"Sesshomaru" I called out, finally drawing his attention back to the world.

"Love" he said as he approached and sat next to me on the bed.

He moved his arms towards me passing our pup into my hands, and when my eyes met my pups, I could help the tears that slipped mines.

There in my hands was a tiny version of Sesshomaru; silver shoulder length hair, two magenta strips oh his cheek, and crescent moon on his forehead. But his eyes, his beautiful eyes, are two shinning pools of blue.

"He's beautiful," I whispered.

"Well he does take after his sire" Sesshomaru said with a proud smirk on his face.

"Haha" I said sarcastically "let's just hope he doesn't take after your personality.

The room was filled with silence as I indulged in observing my pup in my hands. I watched as he looked and examined me without making a sound, so much like his father. He eventually closed his eyes and fell to sleep in my arms.

"There is much we must talk about" Said Sesshomaru breaking the silence.

"I guess better now than later, were do you want to start?" I asked Sesshomaru, fearing the words that could come out of his mouth.

"When did you remember? " Sesshomaru asked without the slightest show on his face of what was running through his mind.

"Right before you came for me, Naraku tried to take away our pup when I went into labor. I guess my powers awakened at the danger and I was able to protect both of us. With the return of my power also came my memories" I told him.

"Huh" He mumbles and stayed silent for a long time, fighting with his thoughts, before finally speaking again. "Who was that mutt that called you 'love'?"

"Rynold and I were to be mated and form an alliance between the south and the east, he had been courting me for sometime before everything happened and I met you," I whispered, knowing that he will hear me but hoping he wouldn't.

"Did you love him?" He asked gripping the sheets next to me.

"I… I … " I looked at him, and seeing the anger in his eyes caused a tight knot to form in my mouth, preventing me from talking.

Abruptly he got up and walked to the middle of the room his body rigid as a rock showing his displeasure.

"DO YOU LOVE HIM?" He demanded to know.

"I…I just don't know. I am so confused my old feelings keep crashing with my new ones. I…" I chocked as tears began to steam down my face as I looked down "I just don't know what I feel anymore".

Suddenly I felt a hand come and pull my face up, and there looking at me was much more calmed golden eyes.

"You said knew feelings, does that mean you have them for me?" He asked moving in inches from my face.

"Of cores" I said looking deeply looking into his eyes, and at least not having any confusion on how he made me feel.

"Then that's all I need," he said before his lips crashed into mines. It wasn't long before I felt his tongue passing through my lips, and the kiss turn from genital and loving into rough and passionate. As we pulled away out of breath, he whispered in my hear "You are the mother of my pup and my mate, but overall you are just mine. And I have no plans of letting you escape from my arms."

Just as he leaned in again to press his lips against mine his face ended in my neck. I looked down in curiosity and saw a strand of Sesshomaru's hair on the hands of my smirking pup.

A laugh left my lips as I heard Sesshomaru's next words "You are right my son, there are better places to kiss".

Before Sesshomaru's lips could reach their destination I said, "We must find a name for our pup."

"Yasu" Sesshomaru said looking down on our pup.

"Peace or peaceful, fits him perfectly" I said smiling down on Yasu.

"Our son will be a great ruler, he will bring peace to our lands" he whispered will moving in once again to kiss me.

This time it wasn't me woo interrupted him but the sound of the opening door. There stood the eastern lord, my father with hair a black as mines slightly tan skiing with blue strips around his body, looking a me with new happiness in his face.

"Kagome"

"Father it's so good to see you" I said extending my hand out for him. Sesshomaru stood up giving his sit to my father.

"I wish I had time to catch up on the lost time, but there is a matter at hand. Rynold is threatening to rage war if he is not allowed to see Kagome immediately"
