YAAAAAAHHHHH I am finally on vacation from college. I hope that you all are enjoying your holidays. Since I am on vacation I will update faster, no more bio and chem homework.

Anyways, here is a little New Years Present for you guys, an extra long chapter.

Chapter 14: Memories

"I wish I had time to catch up on the lost time, but there is a matter at hand. Rynold is threatening to rage war if he is not allowed to see Kagome immediately" Lord Kyrion announced.

I felt the rage built up in my body at the insolence of that mutt. How dare he believe that he can steel what's mine. "He can rage war all he wants, but I will defend my pack" I growled back.

We must protect our mate and pup. That mutt cannot be allowed to live; he wishes to take her from us, my beast roared in my head. Before my beast's wishes could become a reality, I felt soft fingers pull at my sleeves.

I looked down to see pleading blue eyes, "this is something that I must do and you can't keep me from it" said Kagome with a tone she had never taken with me.

She intertwined her fingers with mine, a sign of reassurance, while she locked towards Lord Kyrion.

"Let him in"

"I will go get him my darling, just know I will support any decision you make" my father said as he kissed my forehead before leaving the room.

Sesshomaru re-tock his place on the bed and leaned into me, inches from my lips. "This Sesshomaru is not pleased, but I will leave you to speak to the mutt" he said.

Shortly after he closed the distance between out lips, and it felt like not one second had passed since the moment in which he filled my body with so much passion. It wasn't long before the kiss turn urgent and his hands began to move throughout my body, as he pressed his body airtight against mines.

Realization hit me when his lips moved down my neck, but unlike other times he left my neck to rub his face all over it.

Slight anger filled me at his dirty trick and my hand moved to smack his head away.

"What do you think you are doing mate?" he asked me, shocked at my sudden rejection.

"Don't even think I don't know what you are doing. You are not helping this situation: scent marking me will only complicate the conversation" I scolded at him.

With a smirk gracing his face he said, "Mate, my scents it already all over you and I was merely strengthening it. Besides I never agree to play fair, so let that mutt know that you shared my bad as I drove you the edge of ecstasy. That I was the one you called out for as I filled your womb with my seeds and will be the only one to ever do so. Let him know that you will only carry my heirs, just as you have done with Yasu, but next time I assure you, that I will enjoy the fun of actually procreating our next pup."

"A….Ana…Augh" I could only growl at his statement that left me speechless, but with a new burning desire that only he could extinguish.

Before I could recover my voice his face turned sour.

"The mutt its here. I will leave you alone but if you are in need of me all you have to do is"…. "Call me" he whispered to me, but the last part was heard only in my mind.

He got up taking me with him as well. He fixed my kimono and kissed my forehead before moving to leave.

As soon as he opened the door the atmosphere in the room did a 180, the air now becoming heavy and hard to breath. Time slowed down as Sesshomaru and Rynold stared at each other, not bothering to cover up their hate for each other, walking in opposite directions.

I gulped down a knot that had formed in my throat as Rynold closed the door on Sesshomaru. The look in Sesshomaru eyes caused my heart to clench. What to the outside world looked like his normal killing glare, to me that was a look that begged for me.

Rynold as soon as the door closed moved in to hug me but stopped on his tracks as soon as he saw the pup in my hands. My hands tighten slightly at the displeasure that was shown on his face.

The silence moved on as I looked at the tan face that I once knew. His dark brown curls dancing around his neck almost touching his blue and black plain kimono.

"Hey" I said trying to kill the silence that was slowly killing me.

"Hey… that's all you have to say! After you show up with a pup and a mate," he said to me, his words hurting more than I thought they would.

"I don't know what else to say. Too many things happened that were out of my control and now I find myself in this situation…." I said before I tock a deep breath.

"I know you deserve a explanation, so just please listen. I didn't remember until recently but if you remember the day I disappeared I went for a walk in the woods because I had a fight with father. On that walk a hanyou named Naraku abducted me and he kept me locked away " I brought Yasu to my heart hoping that it would bring peace to the raging storm that was happening inside of it.

…..FLASHBACK…..

"Please stop…just stop" I cried out as I felt more of my yokai leave my body. It felt like needles were hidden inside me and slowly where being ripped out one by one.

"Ohh how sweet is the feeling of having your yokai filling up my body" Naraku smiled evilly as he looked at me. "It wont be long now before my body ceases to be half human and I will be strong enough to kill those that ever mocked me for weakness"

He laughed sending chills through my body. He leaned in to whisper in my ear, "do not worry love I will be back to take more of your yokai away and who knows after all of this is done I might have another job for you to preform." I almost puked as he licked my neck after saying the last part.

The weight in my chest didn't go away until he got up and locked the door behind him.

"This can't be how it ends, never seeing my father and Rynold again" I whispered in despair. I shouldn't have fought with father and listen to his warnings of new dangers in the woods. But I wanted to be free and not be confined to the walls of a palace.

I was meant to be more than just a hair and a mate, I was meant to roam nature and see the wonders it offered me.

"But look where that got me. I am sorry father, but I am not sorry for wanting to be free" I whispered once more.

That's enough! We will get out of here.

But how? Almost all of my power has been drained.

Use the last of my power to break out.

It is dangerous to be roaming the woods with so little energy, who knows what might happen to us?

Can't be worse that what is happening now. Wait for the right time, and then escape.

My beast was right, I had fought with my father to be free and this was no difference. I just had to think, I had always known how to get out of the palace so I know I can get out of this.

I looked down at the chains that held my hands captive and prevented me from using my powers to escape. I starred at the keyhole for minutes before it hit me that if I didn't have the key I could just make one. I brought my hands to my mouth holding one of my fans, and with my eyes closed I pushed. "Arrhhh" I held back a scream as my fang came off and the bitter taste of blood filled my mouth. I spitted out the blood and looked down at the fan in my fingers hoping that a new one would grow soon.

I brought the fang to the floor and began to rub it up and down to thin it out. I had to do this was all I thought to keep away the pain of when my own finger began to peel at being rubbed against the floor.

When the fan was finally thin enough I smiled to myself, we might actually get out of this. I tock it and stuck it in the keyhole and tock a deep breath before I began to move it. After struggling for long enough the sound of chains opening sounded like music to my ears.

Yes. Move fast.

I got up enjoying the filling of the falling chains and looked around the cell finding the small cell window.

"Well here goes nothing… and everything," I said as I gathered all my powers and send a ball of pink light at the bars of the window. When the light was gone a hole was left instead.

Knowing that someone would come soon because of the noise I wasted no time in climbing out the window and running.

Yes we made it out I screamed at my beast in my head as I ran…

Beast? What could be going on? It suddenly felt as if a part of me was gone. What was this silence? Were had my beast gone? It certainly enjoyed pestering me every second.

I couldn't contemplate any answers to those questions, as I felt the wind behind me picked up, knowing full well as to who was causing it. I turned around to see the wind sorcerer, Kagura, swinging her fan at me. I looked forward realizing the only way to escape her attack.

With all my might I jumped of the cliff ahead of me hoping for the best at not knowing what greeted me at the bottom.

My mind went numb as I feel the cutting coldness of water.

The last thing I saw was Kagura flying further west.

….. END of FLASHBACK….

I felt a tinny hand touch my check shocking me back into reality. I looked down to see an agitated Yasu failing to brush a tear on my check. I grabbed his tiny hand and kissed his forehead. He will truly bring peace.

With new strength I continued my story.

"I don't know how long after Sesshomaru found me. I still don't understand how it happened, but soon after we found a dying pregnant female that was also running from Kagura. Before she died she transfer her pup into me and somehow made it mines and Sesshomaru's. After Sesshomaru and I mated, Naraku captured me once more. I was able to fight Naraku long enough until Sesshomaru found me and brought me here" I finished taking a deep breath in a letting the silence retake the room as for just a few seconds.

"So that is not your and his pup then!" he asked looking hopeful and taking a step forward.

"Yes it is", I affirmed. "I don't know how it happened and why it happened, but now I have a pup and a mate I must think of. If you ask me this sounds like some story someone pulled out of their ass."

"THAT IS NOT YOUR PUP. How can you call a man you do not love your mate?" he demanded of me.

"I never said I didn't love him" I almost whispered, but I new he heard me as he stopped in his tracks.

"You used to say you loved me" he said with a tone of sadness that crushed my heart.

"I…I… don't know what I feel for you anymore, but out of all the things I don't know, the one thing I do know is that I love Sesshomaru. Even without my feelings I am a mother now and I must place my pup first and my pup need it father just like I need him" I said looking down at my pup.

I stood there looking fiercely at Rynold watching as red threatened to overcome his eyes.

"This can't be the end" he said as he stormed out of the room and left.

I looked down and starred down at Yasu who looked at me with wondering eyes, "I wished to be free and loved before, and I have found that freedom in you and your sire and I refuse to give it up."

"RRRRRrrrr"

How could this happen? She was to be my mate. That fucking Inu must go. Why would she stay with a pup that is not hers?

Ohh how maddening was it to smell the scent of another male all over her that should have been my scent and my pup.

"She could still be yours" Said a voice behind me.

I turned around in a second ready to fight off the intruder.

"Now, now lower your weapons I am here to make a proposition. You wish to mate her and I wish to have the pup. I think there is something we could work out."
