Yep. 2 in a day... ish? Don't get used to it...
"Have you tried him with stronger spells?" Sirius and Albus chatted away as Lupin introduced Danny to...
"Severus Snape, teacher of Dark arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and wizardry." The man announced.
"Nice to meet you." Danny nodded. The man in front of him didn't look to friendly, but Danny knew that some people like that are better really. After all, don't judge a book by its cover.
They had been at this for about half an hour tops. Albus would shout some odd word or mix of words and a light would fly out his wand, but as soon as it came in a close proximity to Danny it just simply fizzled out, leaving Danny untouched.
"But what if the more dangerous spells hurt him, Albus! We don't exactly know his limit." Danny zoomed back to what the other two were talking about.
"I do not think they will have any affect on him in all truths Sirius." Danny walked over.
"I don't mind the more dangerous spells." Danny voices, coming to stand in front of the others while Remus and Severus stood a few feet away.
"But Albus... Alastor..." Danny glared at the ground.
"Let's have a break. Danny you still haven't met the kids properly yet." Lupin said walking towards the stairs. Danny followed the other half breed up the stairs, slightly annoyed by their obvious mention to him being 'frigile'.
He didn't realise he had followed Lupin back to the kitchen where two twins were eating. What time was it anyway?
"Fred, George, this is Danny." Lupin introduced.
"Hello Danny-
"It's nice to finally meet you." They said, swapping as they went.
"Oh, nice to meet you both too." Danny greeted. The swapping speech thing kind of threw him for a loop but he didn't mind. It was oddly interesting. Lupin left the room muttering about coffee.
"So Danny, we were wondering-
"If you could help us with something."
"Yes?" Okay he could see how this would get confusing.
"Don't you dare you two!" Shouted a short brunette girl as she walked in.
"What's that Hermione?-
"We're just trying to make friends."
"Knowing you, you'll try and get him in on your pranks." The girl took a seat, aiming an accusing finger at the twins. Said boys feigned hurt.
"What? I'm injured-
"Insulted-
"Heartbroken-
"That you feel we would be a bad impression." The girl rolled her eyes.
"I'm Hermione Granger," She smiled. "I arrived not too long ago while you were down in the basement. Danny wasn't it?" Danny nodded.
"Yeah that's me."
"I heard you are a muggle ghost. I've never heard of such a thing."
"None of us have before you came here." Lupin said walking back in. "I see you've met Hermione. Close friend of Harry's." Danny nodded.
"Until Sirius came to me don't you mean?" Danny joked.
"Surly there should be a book about your kind somewhere." Danny chuckled.
"I don't know about the wizard world but my parents have done years of studies into 'muggle' ghosts." She went off after she made Danny promise to bring some of their reasurch some day. They twins mention after she leaves that she is a massive bookworm which didn't surprise Danny all that much.
There was a short meeting with Ginny Weasley when Danny accidentally walked into her room and not his own. She said it was fine but he still felt guilty. She was sharing a room with Hermione it seemed.
The only person he hadn't met was the other Weasley. Ronald was it? Anyway, he decided to go up to chill out on his laptop before dinner.
"Oh, hello Harry." Danny called out, entering the room.
"Hey." He didn't look to happy to see him. Not that Danny cared but clearly something was bugging him.
"You alright?"
"Yeah." Harry replied not looking away from something he was writing. Danny looked over and the boy muttered 'homework' before adjusting his grip on...
"Is that a quill?" Danny voiced as he got it his bed.
"Yeah, wizards and stuff." He shook his head.
"Isn't that unconfortable?
"Yeah." Okay then... Not really one to talk. "Are you okay? This morning you kinda freaked everyone out." Danny went back to rubbing his neck. He really needed to stop that.
"Oh, right, I almost forgot about that... Yeah. I've had the same side affects before but never that extreme. I guess I was too tired from the time difference and all. My ghost half absorbs energy from a ghost world called the Zone and I usually go in everyday to recharge but I might have forgot before I left America." He rambled.
"Oh."
"Hey dont worry about it. Sorry I freaked you out." Danny admitted finally sitting down and grabbing his laptop from under the bed. Harry eyed it for a moment but went back to his work.
"I thought at first it was because of me." Harry said quietly.
"Huh?" Danny asked.
"When you fainted. It was at the same moment we shook hands. I thought it was me at first." Danny didn't think about that.
"Oh. No it wasn't that." I don't think. Unless he used a spell to take away all my energy away.
"Are you sure it wasn't?" He asked, noticing Danny's thoughtful expression as he thought about it.
"DINNER!" Sirius' voice called through the house.
Danny got up.
"Of course, otherwise..." he came towards Harry as she began to clean away his papers, "I couldn't do this..." he gently nudged Harry's arm with his.
But when he did that he felt as if his energy was being physically drained out of him. He tried to hide it but faulted for a moment. Then kept going. When Danny got downstairs he went to Sirius who was already gleaming at his plate.
"Sirius? Can I talk to you?" Said man looked painfully at his food but then reluctantly followed Danny to the living room.
"What's up?" But he had to catch Danny as he fell to his knees. "Woah, carefully!"
He moved Danny over to a seat.
"Are you alright?" Sirius asked.
"I think there's something wrong with me..."
