Hello, since this story has not updated in quite a while I decided to give you a preview of the next chapter, the reason the chapter isn't complete is because they're quite long.
(Celebi POV)
Yes, let's go home.
I grabbed my new mate a started teleporting us home, sweet home.
A moment later we were at the Hall Of Origins… ah! After such a long time inside that disgusting monster it was surprisingly refreshing to see such a familiar sight associated with "Home" in my eyes (And the others, I suppose), though judging by the wonder filling my dear Blacky, he never had a chance to see this place's true beauty.
Blacky moved to one of the painted glasses, yes, I remember now, with all the time I was trapped, I was starting to forget stuff.
This was the room, or to be technical the maze of rooms and hallways where we record major historical events.
He was currently looking at one such glass painting.
"You like it, don't you?" I found his awe yet another cute thing about him.
"I haven't been to this part of the Hall yet." He said, looking at the pictures, paintings of great events both recent and long ago.
I remember this one, this one is of "The Apple of Discord" incident.
This is when Eris started a war in the mortal world by tempting a few of my sister's into who was the strongest and it snowballed from there.
"What are all these glass windows, Celebi?"
I looked at him to explain it:
"This is the room, or to be technical the maze of rooms and hallways where we record major historical events. This one in particular is about an incident caused by Eris." I spat the word Eris with a bit more force than intended, but I was not happy with the mess.
Blacky turned to me, surprise coloring both his expression and his mind.
"Did you just say Eris?" Blacky asked, I didn't understand what he was shocked about, even if someone had told him about Eris, I didn't see why he would react like that.
"Yeah, does the name ring a bell with you?"
"It should, Eris is the name of an ancient goddess of Discord and Strife ancient humans worshipped."
Now THAT was a shocking revelation.
"What, really? That's really weird." It really was, was it just some crazy coincidence or was there more to it? I'll have to ask Father.
But we could deal with that later, right now we had other matters to deal with.
"What tale does this glass tell?"
I turned to the glass again "This recalls the tale of the Apple of Discord" ignoring his sudden gasp of shocked recognition. "It's about the time when Eris somehow managed to start a war in the mortal world."
"Let me guess, by starting a contest over who was the fairest?"
"The strongest, actually."
"Yeah, yeah, was a failed romance involved?" Blacky said.
"Why yes. Who told you the story, Blacky?" I was curious who exactly explained this mess to him.
"There was no need for that, the story has many, MANY a pararel with human myth. You know what? I cannot shrug this off as a coincidence. It's damningly obvious something is going on."
"Well, whatever is going on you can settle that later. For now, how about I show you something else, something grander than this incident."
I led him through the hallways.
