"Hey Kazooie..." Banjo started as he stretched his furry arms. "...You notice things being a bit slower than usual?"
"Eh it's probably just you." Kazooie yawned while flapping her wings. "Think it's time to go and get some food again."
So Banjo and Kazooie left their home in Spiral Mountain to go get a bite to eat. Where did they head off to? Jolly's obviously, for it was a quick warp through the Isle O' Hag tunnel chutes. However they expected to head off to the lagoon, but a strange warp sent them to the sandy shores of Donkey Kong Island, where they spotted the leader of the bunch eating bananas.
"Huh? What brings you guys here?" The 1st member of the DK Crew questioned.
Kazooie shook her feathery head in disbelief. "Donkey? Don't tell me that Rare ultimately screwed up again."
Banjo rubbed his chin. "Might be a certain someone messing with the portal warp or space time continuum."
