I want to be free
Harry Potter/Glee X-over
HP/ Glee Female Character TBD
IXX: Get ready to…
"Hello Ron." Harry said to the redhaired auror.
Ron, in Harry's eyes the distance between them had done him the world of good. Where Harry came in at just over 6'0, Ron comfortably had four to five inches. Ron had become burlier in the shoulders where Harry remained ripcord thin and the two friends both knew that if this was going to turn ugly, they both knew it was unescapable, they both knew Harry was going to be in this fight quicker than a Nundu losing its temper. Which was to say very easily and often. Ron had seen Harry in full flow against Voldemort thank you very much.
"Let me guess you had a strategy of coming here and having a chat and perhaps persuade that despite the utter bullshit and bi-polar the Wizarding World is, they need their heroes back. Furthermore, they or you, expect me to marry a redhead i.e. your sister? But know Malfoy Snr, has sent some of buddies to take us back unharmed?"
Ron nodded "About the gist of it. Harry, I know you…at least, I think I do. I know you don't want to come back but really they've brought a tonne of us to bring you back."
Harry nodded and his back tingled "Power sappers? Anti-specialist escape measures?"
Ron nodded "Any chance you guys can come quietly?" He saw the looks and snorted "At least…let's make this look convincing." He fired off one spell, before three stunners collided with him.
The non-magical members of Glee had been slowly evacuating the guests from the building. They clustered around the hall, half-eager and half-terrified of seeing a Wizarding Fight. Yes they were scared, but it was time to see if the rumours and nonverbal communication between the wizards was all talk or not.
They watched as Neville, Dean and Seamus dropped the Ron. "Insurance…A one person stunner can be cancelled by another, so you hit them with multiple stunners and it makes it harder for them to get up again.
"Or I hit them." Harry replied.
"Harry, would you have hit Ron with enough force? That's what I thought." Seamus said as a pompous voice called out.
"HARRY JAMES POTTER! WE HAVE YOUR LITTLE WEREWOLF GODSON, SURRENDER AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO HIM OR HIS GRANDMOTHER."
Harry stilled he looked at his closest friends "You really want to do this?"
"Harry, you do not threaten a magical child. It's something that you do not do. Regardless of what he is." Neville said.
Harry sighed "We play along and then hardball. We hardball fast, we hardball mean."
Dean gulped "By hardball…"
"No stunners, we drop them and drop them hard. Pick your favourite spells."
Schuester made his way over to them "Is everything going to be fine?"
"No. Things are not alright. Time for me to actually cut loose a little." Harry said.
"HARRY POTTER! WILL YOU COMPLY?"
Harry sighed "I COMPLY…Releasing self-imposed levels three, two and one. Approval of situation c recognised, commencing the Lightning invocation. Ability restrictions lifted for limited time until the foe has been rendered…silent." He finished with a frantic murmur, there was telltale sign that something had happened. The only thing that Will noticed was that the whisky in Harry's hand had frozen solid and as he exhaled noticed his own breath.
"Harry, be careful." Harry smiled thinly.
"Let 'em have it, Harry." Someone shouted but Schuester didn't know.
"Both guns."
With that he walked outside. The moment he was outside, he was surrounded by twelve red robed aurors. Harry looked at them, out of all of them he only recognised two of them. The rest, by the way they were staring at him were either unmarked Death Eaters or people who had Death Eater sympathies. Harry, took a deep breath and he felt the adrenaline enter his system like a dark friend.
"Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again." He murmured to himself but the words carried, in the hall. Then all was silent.
Meanwhile, outside another auror stepped forwards with Andromeda and Teddy in chains. Harry looked and the shackles that his Godson had were evidently lined with silver. He was trying not cry, it made Harry's heart break and his blood boil. "I'm here. Let them go."
"Very good Mr. Potter, it seems that you do possess something of a brain. Especially when it comes to your betters." Harry smirked coldly but said nothing.
"Move forwards."
Meanwhile on the inside of the wedding hall everyone watched apprehensively "Why isn't anyone calling the police? Shouldn't we do something?" Hissed Rachel.
"Rachel, we are seriously in over our heads…Everyone is. Hell, Harry is…look at him. They've literally got him as Everclear say in their song Babytalk 'They have him by the balls.'" Kurt retorted.
Seamus nodded and drew his wand "He's waiting…"
"For what?"
"The moment…Then everything is going as we all know 'That went Harrifickily wrong'."
"That Dean, was fucking terrible…" Hermione said bluntly but everyone saw she couldn't keep a grin off her face. "…But far to correct."
"Potter, remain exactly where you are. Don't move. Higgs, release the Thing and its Grandmother." Harry sighed; he listened the magic everyone had access to was seriously diminished. He sighed again he could feel the power sapper the moment he left the building. Thankfully, he had more magic internally than most of his opponents, downside…they knew what they had and what they could do. This was going to go as Dean had said 'Harrifically wrong in the most Pottacular manner possible.'" All he could do was wait.
Hermione's eyes widened "Oh, Merlin…Power Sappers…They actually came prepared this time." She turned to Finn and Puck.
"Power sappers are as they sound. If you want to help us, you can find them and take them out."
"Won't they hide themselves?"
"No, impossible to. The amount of magic it takes to drain an area of magic requires four or more magic users working together. Generally only happens…"
"If they trust each and know each other. Bit like Football players, take one out the effect goes down as well." Archie cut in.
"With a mighty big bang?"
"Depends on the target." Neville said a toothy grin on his face.
Everyone gulped. Things were definitely about to go harrifyingly wrong and they were going to do it. "How do we take them out?"
"You only need to deal with one…"
Puck nodded "Sorry about the wedding you two." Kurt and Finn nodded; they turned to Burt and Carole who had not left the building.
"Harry's going to be okay isn't he?"
Hermione shrugged "I'd be more concerned about us, once Puck and Finn have finished their task."
Carole looked at them "Why?"
"We, at Glee, joke a hell of a lot about Harry being crazy, psycho, drunken alcoholic mess and the like. Harry let's us get away with it because we've seen him lose his temper and as we say 'goes on a walk' things get destroyed. He levelled our Groundkeepers Wooden Hut, it's more like a house but still…He also set the school on fire…It's made of stone."
Carole looked at her son and his friend "Be careful."
Harry remained still, he focused magic into his eyes. It wasn't a hard skill but it could be a painful one if it went wrong. He looked up and he saw that the twenty odd aurors and he were standing in a cage of magic, inside two interlocking domes "Power drainer and anti-portkey and apparation wards…Nice work. But it'd be a shame if something were to happen to it."
As he spoke, Dawlish looked up. The cage faltered and shattered. "Release restraint level zero." Harry growled as his hair began to take an emerald glow.
"Oh boy…Harry's off on a walk."
