Fourteen: Grandparents & Life Moments
Since becoming Grandparents; Howard and Martha were seen more and more together out in society, which ended with a lot of headlines.
Stark and Wayne Widows Find Each Other
"Mrs. Wayne, do not get angry." Alfred said. Martha didn't know what he meant until she saw the paper and read the headline.
"Are these people serious, Howard and I raised our daughters together, do they really think we could ever hide it we did get together?" Martha said and smacked the papers to the table.
"What are you angry about Mum?" Brianna asked coming down and sitting down on the table.
"Just the idiosity of the paper, sorry Clark." Martha said seeing her son in law coming down with the Rachel in his arms.
"Why is papas bad?" Rachel asked.
"Paper." Brianna corrected, getting a hold of Rachel and sitting her down in the booster seat.
"Don't worry about it dear?" Martha said but showed the paper to Clark, who looked at it and furrowed his eyebrows.
"The Daily Bugle?" Clark said.
"Yes, Alfred brings all the papers from various cities to read, it is not the only one." Martha told him.
"Don't take it to heart Mother, they have been saying this for the past few years, they began since Aunt Maria passed away." Brianna told him.
"Gandma, I want some mo'e." Rachel said pointing to the pancakes.
"Please." Briana and Clark said at the same time.
"Pease Gandma." Rachel said.

Stark Manor
"Can you believe this utter trash?" Howard asked Pepper, who was helping with breakfast, since she was also here to get some paperwork.
"Well everyone does think that it is what happened." Pepper told him.
"That's just it, I sometimes hate these things so bad." Howard admit it. "They can be useful, I will admit but this utter garbage is something else."
"What is utter garbage?" Toni asked coming inside the kitchen, she had Penny in her arms.
"Mr. Stark is upset at a story." Pepper told her.
"What did they do this time?" Toni asked giving Penny away to her grandfather and getting the newspaper.
"If you ever work in a newspaper, I will disown you." Howard said jokingly to Penny poking her belly making her laugh.
"This is ridiculous, Aunt Martha will be upset about this as well."
"Exactly." Howard told her. "Where is Steve?"
"He's at the university." Toni said. It had come to mind that now that he was able too and all the back pay and everything Howard had done. Steve decided to go to school and get some degrees mostly because he didn't want to be only known for his muscles. Clark had given him the idea of studying to get everything available. He was also taking business classes as Howard wanted to get him into Stark Industries in some part of the company but wanted him to be ready.
Toni was happy when Steve asked for her opinion and she was just happy that her husband wanted to learn more about his life. She also liked going to the University to pick him up, since it always ended with them going on dates.
"Are Steve and you thinking about still moving to LA?" Howard mentioned still eating his breakfast and helping Penny. Toni looked at her Dad and smiled.
"Well Steve and I were thinking of spending the summer there."
"Are you sure? The company over there is not as large as the one here in New York."
"We were wondering if you wanted to come spend the summer with us." Toni said surprising her Dad.
"Really, I mean I think Pepper can look at my schedule and see if it is open, nothing should be too pressing about it." Howard said looking at her. Pepper tried not to smile, she knew that the damage to the relationship would not be fixed easily but Steve had mentioned that Howard had confessed everything he had done to Toni while being drunk and the belittling, he also mentioned that fact that he hit Toni once or twice,
Toni hadn't found out that Steve had left Howard a black eye both mentioning that it was an accident in the lab. Jarvis had known the truth and hidden the video of the Captain's temper explosion in his archives. Howard had promised to change, and Steve was holding him to it as he had mentioned that he didn't care how powerful he was that if he showed to be a danger to his wife or daughter. He wouldn't hesitate to keep them both away from him.

Clark was working on two of his articles, he had been under cover in one of the developing countries. He had met some merchants from the country of Wakanda, and he had been careful around them. Brianna had informed him of different countries in Africa that were under the cover either by technology and other methods. He hadn't notice that in some of his luggage he had ended with some vibranium and he had given it to Brianna to do test to it as she wanted.
"Daddy!" he stopped writing and turning to see his daughter coming over to him with a smile.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Gandma, took me coloring." Rachel said.
"Is that so?"
"Yes, is Ganma love Ganpa Howad?" Rachel asked.
"Your Grandmother cares greatly for your Grandpa Howard, but both of them have partners of their own even if they are gone, like your Grandfather Thomas and your Nana Maria." Clark explained. Brianna and Tony had noticed that both their daughters were very intelligent. It didn't surprise them, but they were always surprise of everything they caught from everything out there.
"They are just like both of you." Her Mother would tell her. Toni was always fearful about it.

New York
The families had been brought together for one single purpose, both the Thomas and Maria Foundations were doing a Gala for those veterans coming back from war and their families.
"Captain I have to admit that this is a good thing." General Ross said talking with Steve. "I was wondering if you were thinking of coming back to the force?"
"Not at the time General, I have a family to take care off." Steve told him.
"Is that so, I believe Mrs. Rogers wouldn't mind you coming back for the good of the country." Ross told him. Steve looked at him straight in the eyes.
"I think I gave my life for my country General, now I want to live it." Steve told him. He felt a tug on his pants and saw his little girl.
"Papa." He raised her up.
"Say hi to General Ross, Penelope."
"Hi!" Penny said before turning her face to Steve's shoulder. She didn't like the General and Steve knew to trust child intuition.
"Why don't we go find your Mother?" Steve ask, "Sorry General, but I must find my wife." He didn't let the man finish before we walked away from him.
"Scar-ie." Penny whispered.
"Do you think so my little girl?" Steve just nodded walking over to Toni, who was talking to Brianna.
"Steve, there is where Penny went, I thought she went to my Dad." Toni mentioned smiling.
"She saved me from an interesting conversation." The tone told both woman that it was anything but interesting.
"Hmm…Rachel is helping Clark get one." Brianna motioned with her head toward Clark who was speaking with Dr. Storm, who was standing with his own children beside him.
"It was brilliant that we made this child friendly."
"It is for a children's cause."
"Where are your parents?"
"Trying to avoid the paparazzi." Brianna smiled looking at both. "Or making rumors worst."
"I think both your parents know, how to fool the paparazzi very well." Steve mentioned just as Clark was getting closer.
"Your Father just made it seem like they were kissing."
"Love to mess with the press." Toni said.
"I should feel offended."
"You know we love you Clark, or Bri wouldn't have married you." Toni said with a smile. They saw as the paparazzi kept going crazy for both Howard and Marth who were fanning the flames.
"How bad do you think they will take it?" Steve asked.
The couples saw Howard and Martha looking at each other and they were smiling at each other. Brianna and Toni were looking at each other, knowing that things were changing. They didn't notice that someone was looking at both.
