Plot Wrap Up
Vsevolod convinces Emery to turn on Drake.
Emery sets up a trap for Drake.
Vsevolod and his secret lover concoct a plan to kill Emery and Drake.
Emery falls for Vsevolod's trap and is severely injured but still alive when Drake arrives and kills everyone (including Vsevolod).
Drake beats Emery to a bloody pulp and leaves her for dead.
She is found by comrades.
A message plays revealing that Drake was aware of the plan all along and left her the responsibility of his house and training the next progenitor. She is most importantly tasked with keeping him safe while he sleeps or he will kill her if he is returned to the realm of mortals.
Emery reluctantly cleans up the mess she helped cause and faces the daunting future with allies at her side.
Author's Notes
While I could write out this basic outline into the remainder of the story, I am no longer in the headspace to write this and I do not want to ruin what has already been published. I believe the quality of the written work will be superior to the ending I could add on now and therefore leave you with the plot wrap up. I foolishly thought I could pick up where I left off and I was wrong to believe I was in the right headspace.
