Hey everyone, Story Nado here...
GRIM/STAR IS BACK IN SESSION!
Sorry for the really, really, really long wait, but this fanfic is officially back!
So, without further ado, let`s go!
One night, Star and Marco were having a monster movie event while happily chomping down on nachos.
"Oh, here comes the monster!", exclaimed Marco.
Star's eyes widened in shock and she readied her wand towards the screen.
Marco quickly said, "No no no, not like those monsters."
The woman in the movie screamed in fright as she looked at the beast that was steadily approaching her.
The creature's appearance was...unimpressive to say the least. It was, essentially, a man in a cheap gorilla suit with fake blood dripping down from its mouth.
Star and Marco instantly burst out laughing at the ridiculous sight, and ended up spilling some nachos on the floor as a result.
Their combined laughter was enough to wake Grim up from his slumber.
He was residing in Star's massive room, since he had nowhere else in the house to sleep in. Marco was uncomfortable with the idea of sleeping with the literal Grim Reaper himself, and so were his parents. So, with the use of her wand, Star created a second bed for Grim, and he has slept there ever since.
The reaper grabbed his robe from a nearby coat rack, hastily put it on, and grumbled as he walked downstairs to the living room.
"What are you kids up to?", asked Grim in a half-groggy, half-angry manner.
Star happlily waved at Grim, and Marco replied,"We're just checking out some terrible 80's horror flick called The Horrifying Were-Ape!"
Star said, "Come sit with us dude!"
While rubbing his eye sockets, Grim said,"You do realize I have ta collect some souls tomorrow?"
Star grinned,"We know that, but, this movie is pretty hilarious so far!"
Grim pondered for a minute, then shrugged his shoulders and said, "Eh, sure, why not. This better not take long though."
He sat next to Star, grabbed a few nachos and munched on them.
As the movie played on, he yawned and said, "This movie is stupid. I've seen far better horror movies than this schlock-fest!"
Star inched closer to Grim and asked,"Ooo, what kind of horror movies?"
Grim smiled and replied,"Well I'm glad you asked! 'Cause I'm gonna take you two to a place where the best videos are sold!"
Marco chuckled and asked, "Who even watches VHS tapes nowadays?"
The reaper gave the red-hooded teen a sharp glare, causing Marco to nervously look away.
Marco quickly stated, "M-My old TV that we never got rid of is in my closet! That's VHS compatible! We can use that for tommorow's movie event!"
The Next Day...
We cut to the underworld video store named...well, Underworld Video.
A green portal opens, and our trio walk out of it.
As they walk inside the store, Marco and Star look in awe at the various underworld characters that were each checking out different videos.
'Welcome to Underworld Video!", announced Grim,"The place for various underworld characters such as myself!"
Marco spoke up,"Uh, Grim, we already know about those parts, since the narrator already explained it."
Grim exclaimed,"Hey, I thought your series couldn't break the fourth wall!"
Marco explained, "Our series ended recently, and this fanfic isn`t even canon, so it doesn't matter."
Star looked in awe at the various video covers, before catching a glimpse of one cover that featured a strange, yet oddly adorable creature.
"Aw, who`s this lil`guy?", asked Star.
Marco`s eyes widened at the cover, and he nervously replied, "Uh...Star, that`s a chupacabra. Are you sure that you want to purchase that tape?"
Star shrugged,"Eh, it`s not like this`ll attack us or anything. It is a vhs tape, which aren`t usually dangerous."
We then cut back to the Diaz household.
The trio were watching the chupacabra movie, but as the film went on, it became increasingly clear that only Star was heavily invested in the film.
Marco yawned,"Yep, this is boring. I'm out. Good night Star." He stretched his arms, got up and left the room.
"This is terrible," growled Grim, "I can't believe I paid six dollars for this stupid movie!"
Star turned around to face Grim and said, "C'mon, Grim! This movie's just starting to get good!"
Grim sighed and said, "Nah, you can finish watching it. I'm gonna catch some sleep."
He too got up and walked away, leaving Star to be the sole occupant of the couch.
Star shrugged, and continued to chow down on nachos. Suddenly, the screen went static, and a massive purple mouth sucker engulfed the screen.
Star's eyes widened, "Ooo, so this is that 3D thing that Marco was talking about..."
In a style reminiscent of The Ring, the purple chupracabra slowly emerged from the TV.
The creature itself turned out to be very small, almost the size of a puppy.
Star held the creature up and smiled, "D'aww...you're not so bad."
As she pat it on the head, it began sucking on her finger.
Star yelped in shock, and tried to shake the creature loose, to no avail.
It then switched over to her nose, and Star tried bashing it off with her wand, which also didn`t work.
The princess then summoned a fairy tickling spell on the creature, which successfully worked.
Star whispered, "I`m sorry little buddy..."
She grabbed the creature, and pushed it through the TV, all in one swift motion.
The princess sighed in relief, laid down on the couch, and fell fast asleep.
The Next Morning...
Grim and Marco walked in the room, and saw Star sprawled on the couch, snoring loudly.
Marco gently poked Star`s back and quietly said,"Uh...Star?"
The princess quickly scrambled awake and exclaimed,"W-we gotta get rid of that tape!"
Grim removed the tape from the TV`s VHS player, and placed it back into the cover sleeve.
He happily said, "I get to hand it right on time too! My perfect record stays intact!"
The trio then laughed in unison, and sighed in satisfaction.
Star then got up, and cheerfully waved to the readers, "Alright folks, that`s a wrap! See y`all next week! Bye!"
