It was a fine, warm day, and Star and Marco were taking down Ludo's goons in the backyard, as usual.

Marco unleashed a series of palm strikes to Bearicorn, while Big Chicken and two other goons were blasted to the ground by Star's amazing magical wand.

As Marco uppercutted Buff Frog in the face, he asked Star, "Hey, doesn't this opening scenario seem a little...familiar to you?"

She said,"Yeah, it's kinda weird."

Just then, the princess saw many more goons leaping straight towards her and Marco.

With a twirl of her wand, she leaped upwards and fired a massive narwhal blast, which instantly fired narwhals everywhere, sending the goons back several feet away from the Diaz household.

Ludo growled in frustration and pulled out his dimensional scissors.

He tore open a green swirling portal, and whistled out to his goons, who groaned with pain as they walked through the portal.

Ludo yelled out,"I'll get you Star Butterfly! One day, that wand will be mine!"

After that, the portal instantly closed up.

Star and Marco grinned and high fived each other, and Grim instantly teleported in front of them.

"Hey kids!", greeted the reaper, "How was today's battle?"

Star happily exclaimed,"It was awesome! You should have seen Ludo's face!"

Marco added,"Yep! He wasn't a happy camper, to say the least."

Grim chuckled and said,"Well that's Ludo for ya!"

Suddenly, clouds began to swirl around the sky, and a massive white portal opened up.

A life sized stick figure wielding a massive pencil hopped out of the portal, and instantly landed in front of Star, Marco and Grim.

He was wearing a jean jacket emblazoned with a small tornado insignia.

The trio all looked at one another with confusion, and looked back at the stranger.

"Uh...who the heck are you?", asked Marco.

The stranger smirked and replied,"I'm Story Nado, the author of this fanfiction."

The trio all gasped in shock.

Grim exclaimed,"So THIS is what you look like?!"

Story Nado said,"Well, no. This is merely my avatar."

"Okay...so why are you here?"

Story Nado sighed,"I need to tell you guys something. I'm gonna say goodbye to this fic."

The trio gasped in shock once more.

Star questioned,"Why though?! Why are you doing this now?!"

Story Nado replied, "I admit...I'm starting to get bored with Grim Star. And yeah, I know that I set up a big cliffhanger at the end of last chapter. And there is SO much more stuff from both series that could've been explored, but now...I kinda want to move onto other stories."

Star fearfully asked,"S-So...you're canceling this fanfiction?"

The author responded,"Yes. Unfortunately."

The trio looked down at the ground in sadness.

Then, Marco smiled softly and said,"At least we had a good run."

Star smiled back, "Yeah, I agree!"

Grim added,"And least we managed to entertain the audience for as long as we did."

Star and Marco collectively nodded in agreement.

Story Nado smiled warmly at the three heroes, and said,

"Before I end this fanfiction, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you Star and Marco for being amazing, adorable, and overall fun characters. Thank you Grim, for being an awesome staple of my childhood, and so many others as well."

He turned to the audience,

"And thank you readers as well. For tuning in these past five years, and reading this crazy crossover. It really means a lot. So, with that I say...farewell you guys."

Star, Marco, and Grim all tearfully smiled and waved goodbye to the author.

Story Nado proceeded to tap his pencil onto the ground, and the entire scene slowly faded out into a blank white canvas.
