During their years as hunters, Sam and Dean Winchester had experienced their a lot of weird stuff. That didn't mean, however, that they couldn't be surprised anymore. There was, in fact, still something that could leave them bewildered. Like that time a case brought them to a high school that was having a school play based on the Supernatural books. At the time, the play's author Marie had doubted that the two of them were the original Sam and Dean Winchester from the books. She had, however, started believing it a little at the end, right before they parted ways. That was why she exchanges phone numbers with Dean.
That was, Sam thought, a huge mistake on Dean's part. Marie seemed to be a normal school girl, but truth was that she had a slight obsession. It wasn't like the time when Becky put Sam under a love spell so he would marry her. In Marie's case, things were totally different. Being just a girl, she wasn't obsessed with the Winchester brothers. She was, however, obsessed with their story, and with the idea of telling it through a series of plays. The school play, in fact, wasn't enough for her anymore. She wanted to write something new about Supernatural, something great.
Marie had that new obsession about bringing her vision of Supernatural from theater to theater around the country. And she really thought that Dean needed to be updated all the time about her new ideas. That was the reason why she kept sending him text messages about the weirdest stuff in the most inappropriate moments. Every time she had a new idea for something to add to her next Supernatural play, she would send it to Dean. Sam thought it was hilarious, but Dean? Sure, at first he found it funny, but after a little while not so much. Marie's obsession was starting to annoy him.
One day, while they were in the middle of a hunt, walking in stealth through a cemetery in the middle of the night, Dean's phone rang. It was, of course, Marie, again with her obsession, informing Dean that she had a wonderful idea on how to make Supernatural even better. She thought to add a school of magic that the boys might have attended after turning eleven. At the time, Dean just stared at the phone, bewildered, while Sam laughed and told him to reply it was too Harry Potter for Supernatural.
That texting in the middle of the night with ideas, however, didn't stop. In fact, it was becoming more and more frequent. And the content of the texts was becoming weirder and weirder. The last straw for Dean was when he was out drinking with some girl after a hunt, hoping to get lucky, and he received a text message saying: 'Mermaids! Sam and Dean can be turned into mermaids with a spell!'
Dean choked upon reading that message. Well, that was it. That girl needed to stop obsessing over changing the story of their lives. And most of all she needed to stop texting him the results of her thinking. that was the reason why Dean finally replied to her: 'Kid, stop texting me weird stuff so late at night!'
At first, Dean was satisfied with his reply. He really thought that she was going to stop. However, she just replied: 'Then can I text it to you during the day?' which only meant that no, she wasn't going to stop at all. Dean sighed; maybe, after helping Marie with the play, they should have found a memory spell to use on her, after all.
