A few days had passed since Grayfia had visited and Yukio and Rias found themselves coming to the ruins in a mountain region of the Gremory territory in the Underworld. Both were dressed in their school uniforms and on their own as the others couldn't come to the place due to its importance it held for the Gremorys and meant others couldn't step foot inside, Yukio knowing that it was only for couples only from what Sirzechs had said before.

In front of them was the big entrance to the ruins in a wall of rocks while there were pillars made from stones at the sides and statues of people from each generation of Gremory between the pillars. Overall, it looked gorgeous made and not like Yukio had expected when referring to ruins.

"Fu... What should I do if he ends up hating me because of rushing it... even though we confessed to each other..." Rias whispered quietly next to Yukio, the silvernet rolling his eyes as he replied "I'm sure it'll be okay, Rias."

Rias' face turned tomato red at realising that Yukio had heard her before a mysterious voice called out "Tou!"

The pair looked up to see something sparkling high in the sky. It turned out to be a group of people coming down towards them. The five people landed in front of the pair, dressed in Tokusatsu outfits that made them look like Power Rangers as there was a red, blue, yellow, green and pink person. The red, blue and green 'rangers' were male while the other two were female. The group made a pose before mysterious and flashy explosion occurred behind them in colourful smoke.

"Wh...Who are they?" Rias asked cautiously, Yukio frowning at the group before the person in the middle, red ranger, made a pose and shouted "Fuhahaha! We are the mysterious Maou..."

Yukio's eyes widened in realisation as the yellow ranger hit the red one with a slapstick, having recognised the latter's voice as he thought 'Sirzechs-sama!?'

"Sorry, sorry. Cough. From the start then! We are the Maou-squadron, Maou-Rangers! I am their leader, Maou-Red!" The disguised Sirzechs spoke.

"Satan-Blue!"

"I can't be bothered but I'm Satan-Green!"

"Levi-ta... I mean, I'm Satan-Pink."

"...Ha. Ummm, I'm Satan-Yellow."

The rest of the rangers introduced themselves, Yukio hearing a slapping sound in his head as both Sparda and his father facepalmed at the absurdity of it all before Ddriag cackled happily [The Maous and the maid are doing this ridiculous routine.]

"How is it? A nice pose, right? I practised with my son last night."

"What! Even I also thought about many cute poses as well." Sirzechs and Serafall spoke eagerly about what they were doing.

'Blue is Beelzebub-sama, green is Asmodeus-sama, pink is Serafall-sama and yellow is Grayfia-san.' Yukio thought in disbelief as he covered his eyes with his hand, looking to Rias in the hopes she would call them out about the whole charade as he asked bemused "R-Rias... What should we do?"

"Wh...who are they...? I can feel enormous demonic powers. A Maou-squadron... Are they telling me that they are the gathering of those with the power in a Maou-level?" Rias spoke, giving a discrete wink to Yukio and making him realise that was just going along with the Maous' antics as he nodded slowly to show his understanding.

"We were hired by the house of Gremory. There are four trials waiting for you two in this ritual. I want you two to successfully break through the trials with only your powers. What's important is teamwork!" Red-ranger Sirzechs explained before 'Pink' pointed in a certain direction and called "Ha! A mysterious flying object found!"

"What!? Everyone! Attack all at once! [Ruin the Extinct]!"

"[Kankara Formula]! Karama-equation!"

"Ey, [Celsius Cross Trigger]!"

"...Torya. Attack something like that of Asmodeus..."

"Umm. Then I will call it Yellow-shot then."

The five 'rangers' attacked towards the sky at the same time, causing a massive explosion and shockwave which shook the whole mountain area and the air violently. The animals in the forest below were screaming and fleeing while the sky split and created a creepy dimensional gap that spread and released bright coloured particles of light down onto them.

"It's just an evil spirit. Don't scare us like that, Pink."

"Tehe."

Yukio blinked in disbelief at the fact the five of them had overkilled an evil spirit, wondering why they couldn't have handled Loki instead of just the young devils.

{The obvious answer is politics, Yukio.} Sparda answered, Yukio sighing at hearing that as Rias asked as if seeing the five of them destroy something was normal for her, "So, what is the trial?"

"We will be waiting at each trial! The two young people who will carry on the Gremory! Breakthrough all four of the trials successfully and reach the end of the ruin! Now! Each of us will be waiting at certain sections of the trial! Fuhahahaha!" 'Red' explained before running into the ruins quickly, soon followed by the other rangers to leave Yukio and Rias standing where they had originally been.

"What was that about?" Yukio asked concerned, Rias sighing as she answered "Onii-sama and Serafall-sama have sensitive hearts about being recognised while playing these sort of parts so it was decided for the best to just go along with them."

"Ah..." Yukio spoke with an understanding nod, Rias smiling to him as she added enthusiastically "Now, Yukio! Let's go in! Since we came all the way here, let's show them how deep our relationship is."

"Right." Yukio agreed as they walked in the direction that Sirzechs and the others had ran in.

When the couple reached the first room they found Pink there, who made a peace sign to them at seeing them.

"Now, you two. This is the first trial!" Pink spoke, pausing dramatically before added "For the first trial... I will make you two dance!"

'Dance?' Yukio thought surprised, having expected something more difficult as he looked to Rias to see that she had expected this and was nodding as Pink continued "I want you two to show me your dance! If you show me an excellent dance, then you will successfully pass this trial. Hurry dance, dance! For you two who would be participating in a high society party, knowing how to dance is important."

'So this is about skills for High Class living or something?' Yukio thought as Pink clicked her fingers and made a gramophone appear which started to play classical and elegant music as Sparda spoke up {Well, you will become the Lord of the Gremory family once you're older if you marry Rias.}

"Here Yukio! Let's start." Rias spoke as she took hold of Yukio's hand before bowing to him and the pair started to dance, Yukio remembering how he had learnt such from Rias' mother and wondered if the woman had predicted that this would happen. The pair moved smoothly around as they danced, Rias taking the lead during parts that Yukio was unsure about.

"Yukio. You are doing so well. Looks like Okaa-sama's lesson has proved itself properly... I'm glad as with this, even at times like..." Rias spoke with red cheeks and teary eyes, Yukio smiling back at her as the song came to an end and they bowed to each other after finishing the dance before Pink started to applaud them.

"Ufufu. Looks like I didn't have to worry about it. Both of you did well." She spoke, the stone door behind her opening noisily before she added "Then, move on you two! Go to the second trial!"

"...Ya. Welcome." The Green ranger Asmodeus greeted them lackadaisically with a maid standing on either side of him and a dining table set up for a meal.

"Ummm, the second trial is table manners. I will be watching from here, so eat the food while having your manners checked by the two maids... It's a point reducing system, so you will fail if you reach zero points." Green explained to the couple.

'Table manners? So it is about the future Lord of the family.' Yukio thought surprised as he pulled the seat out for Rias so she could sit down before doing so himself. The silvernet opened the napkin next before joining Rias in starting to eat while remembering the lessons he had been given and even recalling how Rias had taken to pointing out things at home when they ate although Yukio enjoyed doing the same when they used chopsticks as he was more adept then the redhead in that area.

Glancing to Rias, he saw her elegantly eating beside him and absently thought that she was the picture of a princess before focusing back on his meal.

"With that, eating is finished. That's the end of the second trial, table manners." The maid said that while bowing to the pair. Yukio looked slightly nervous at the pair as he awaited the results before one of the pair spoke "Rias-sama cleared it perfectly."

"There were a couple points deducted... but you passed with a near perfect mark. You did very well." The other maid added after leaving a few moments of silence.

"Phew..." Yukio spoke with a sigh in relief, "I was a bit nervous about making noise with the fork and knife."

"Well done, Yukio." Rias spoke overjoyed as she hugged him, tears forming in her eyes as she added "To be expected from Yukio. The boy I chose. I'm so happy... With this, we can surely cleared the rest of them."

"Fuaaa~. You can go now. Congratulations." Green spoke with a sigh, the door opening to the next trial behind him.

As the pair walked in the passage that connected to the next trial Yukio started to ask, "By the way, Rias..."

"What is it?" Rias asked curiously as Yukio continued "The romance between Sirzechs-sama and Grayfia-san seemed important when mentioned at the house but what happened for it to be so important?"

"Well, you know that Onee-sama's surname is Lucifuge, right? Grayfia Lucifuge. The Lucifuge are a noble family that has been serving under the Maou Lucifer for generations." Rias explained, Yukio looking surprised as he asked "The original Lucifer?"

"That's right." Rias spoke with a nod, "Just like you know, in the past there was a quarrel between the Maou-faction, who wanted to continue the War against the angels and fallen angels, and the anti-Maou faction. The House of Lucifuge was serving under the Old-Maou Lucifer. But an elder-son of a certain noble fell in love with the only daughter from the House of Lucifuge."

"Sirzechs-sama and Grayfia-san..." Yukio spoke with an understanding nod, "So they fell in love during that conflict despite being on different sides."

"That's right." Rias spoke with a nod, "Onii-sama was an ace of the anti-Maou faction and was even called a Hero. And Onee-sama was a person from the former Maou side. She also stood in the front line as a powerful devil. I heard that she was competing with Leviathan-sama for the spot as the 'Ultimate female devil'."

Rias sighed wistfully as she recalled the story while explaining it to Yukio,"They fell in love during the battle even if they were from different sides. And after the battle they deepened their love. Wonderful, right? Their romance is so admired that it continues to be told amongst the women in the Underworld. I also admired them. There are those who think that Onee-sama is usually Onii-sama's maid as a form of loyalty towards Onii-sama and the current Maou-faction. But she just likes small tasks and housework. It seems like it's easier to move around doing simple matters as a maid rather than as the wife of Maou. When she is a maid, she wants to do it completely so she started to have a relationship as a maid to us as well."

"Well, as long as you don't expect me to dress as a butler..." Yukio joked, Rias letting out a giggle as she replied "Oh, I don't expect that as while I admire them, love and respect them. I don't want to completely copy them."

"I also feel anxious at the same time. Compared to them who are capable, I thought that maybe I'm an inferior sister. There are times when I wonder if it is okay for me to be the next heir." Rias added with a sombre expression, Yukio hugging her as he replied "I know what you mean given the standards my... family... put on me due to Nee-san's skill and that she shows more talent towards Shinigami skills then myself. But she told me back then that we all are different people with our own specialities and I shouldn't be trying to follow in her footsteps when I have different talents then she does."

"You're right." Rias agreed with a nod, "I'll have different talents then Onii-sama and shouldn't be expected to follow the same path as him. Let's go finish the last two trials then, Yukio."

"Right." Yukio replied with a pleased nod.

...

The next room they arrived in had Yellow standing with a booth that had a curtain covering the entrance like a changing booth.

"The third trial is a test of knowledge about your partner's society, Rias." Yellow explained, much to the pair's surprise as she continued "Please first get changed into the uniform of the Shinigami, Rias."

"Alright." Rias spoke with a shrug, moving to the changing booth. Yukio blinked as he waited for Rias to be inside before he turned to Yellow and spoke "Nee-san came up with this, didn't she?"

A single nod was his answer as Yukio waited to see how Rias would fair with the task as he didn't recall seeing her dress in a kimono before although he figured she had picked something up by the fact Akeno sometimes fought in a shrine maiden's outfit.

Rias came out a few minutes later dressed in the standard uniform that was gaped open to show off some of her chest but otherwise wearing it like Yukio remembered seeing others wearing it. He gulped at the rather sexy look she managed, Rias' smile widening as she noticed it before a cough from Yellow drew the couple's attention back to her as she spoke "That's very good, Rias."

"The next portion of this trial is the oral test..." Yellow started, Rias frowning in concentration as she was asked "What are the levels of Shinigami within their leadership, Rias?"

"The Captain-Commander is at the top, then there are the Captains of the Gotei 13 - Thirteen divisions of various operations for Soul Society's military - and Central 46 who deal with the everyday goings on in Soul Society. Each Division Captain has their own Lieutenant and below them are the Seated Officers and are eighteen seats for with normally only one holding the higher seats while more can all be classed by the lower ranked ones and they are all for officers. The last are those non-officers of the Division who are the bottom rung of the command ladder."

"That's a perfect answer." Yellow spoke with a pleased nod, Yukio relaxing slightly as he and Rias shared a happy grin.

"What are the classes of Hollows?" Yellow asked, Rias taking a moment to think before answering "There's normal Hollows and then the Sub-group called Menos which consist of Gillian, Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde."

"Correct." Yellow spoke with a nod, the doors behind her opening as she added "With that you've passed the third trial. Please proceed once you've changed back, Rias."

...

"Hello." Blue greeted as Yukio and Rias arrived in the next room. There was a table and chairs with paper and pens on.

"The last trial is writing problems. It's an exam style test that covers the history of the house of Gremory and general knowledge of the Underworld." Blue explained, signalling to the desks as Yukio gulped slightly nervous, "That's why I will have you seated."

Rias and Yukio took their seats as Blue made a giant sand hourglass appear next to him by using his demonic powers as he added "Then the limit is one hour. The test starts... now."

The sand hourglass flipped over as Yukio made a start, relieved that it was only a few pages long as he made a start. There was questions about peerages, high-class, middle-class and low-class devils related to it along with the Pillars. A glance to Rias told Yukio that she was easily answering the questions beside him and Sparda was remaining silent as he worked.

"Now stop." Blue spoke at the end of the test, Yukio sighing as he rubbed his head to relieve some of the slight ache that was starting to form. Blue took the papers and started to mark them with a red pen, Yukio guessing from the movement of the pen that Rias got all the questions correct while with his own paper a few errors he had made.

"Now then." Blue started, fixing the test paper to the table, "Rias Gremory passes without any problems. And Seishinryuutei, Hosokawa Yukio-kun has..."

Blue paused to seem to build tension before finishing "Passed, but it's a sudden question! You've finished as soon as you make a mistake! So I will make Hosokawa Yukio-kun answer!"

"To us devils, there were these things called the [72 Pillars] that existed a long time ago. I want you to name them from 1 to 72 in a row." Blue asked, Yukio relaxing as that was something that had been taught to him by Sparda in the past along with Rias' mother as he listed off, "Bael, Agares, Vassago, Gamigin, Marbas, Valefor, Amon, Barbatos, Paimon, Buer, Gusion, Sitri, Beleth, Leraje, Eligos, Zepar, Botis, Bathin, Sallos, Purson, Marax, Ipos, Aim, Naberius, Glaysa-Labolas, Bune, Ronove, Berith, Astaroth, Forneus, Foras, Asmoday, Gaap, Furfur, Marchosias, Stolas, Phenex, Halphas, Malphas, Raim, Focalor, Wepal, Sabnock, Shax, Vine, Bifrons, Uvall, Haagenti, Crocell, Furcas, Balam, Alocer, Caim, Murmur, Orobas, Gremory, Ose, Amy, Oriax, Vapula, Zagan, Valac, Andras, Flauros, Andrealphus, Cimeries, Amduscias, Belial, Decarabia, Seere, Dantalion and Andromalius."

"Splendid. Then what houses among them have become extinct." Blue asked next, Yukio answering easily "Marbas, Valefor Buer, Gusion, Leraje, Eligos, Botis, Bathin, Marax Ipos, Aim, Bune, Ronove, Foras, Gaap, Marchosias, Halphas, Malphas, Raim, Wepal, Sabnock, Vine, Bifrons, Haagenti, Crocell, Alocer, Caim, Murmur, Orobas, Ose, Amy, Zagan, Andras, Flauros, Andrealphus, Cimeries, Amduscias, Decarabia, Seere and Andromalius."

"Correct. You did well. I suppose it only makes sense that a descendant of Sparda knows the Clans, even if you've only recently became part of the Underworld. It was supposed to be a nasty problem but... I will give you a pass." Blue spoke impressed, Yukio letting out a silent sigh as he continued "With this the ritual, the trial of man and woman of the house of Gremory is finished. Congratulations."

"Yay!" Rias cheered, glomping onto Yukio gleefully as he replied "We accomplished it, Rias."

"Yes! You did well, Yukio. With this there will be no one who will be suspicious of us. Aaah! You and I are definitely the best partners." Rias replied pleased before kissing Yukio deeply on the lips.

Blue coughed into his hand amused to stop the pair before pointing at the now open door behind him as he spoke "Now. Red is waiting. You should go and report about your pass of the ritual."

Yukio and Rias blushed before sharing a nod and proceeding through the door.

The couple's walk through the passage had lead them outside and into a very spacious area like that of a Colosseum. They were in the viewing seat area while standing at the centre of the battle stage was Red and Yellow. Walking down to meet the pair as Yellow warmly greeted them "Congratulations, you two."

"Yosh!" Red shouted loudly as he stepped forwards, "So you have reached here! But! The trials of the house of Gremory aren't that easy to end here! I will have Hosokawa Yukio-kun fight me. Satan-Red, as the real final trial! Now defeat me then!"

Red made a stance with a red aura around him, Yukio looking shocked at hearing that as Red continued "As the leader of the Maou squadron, Satan Ranger, I had wanted to fight Spirit Dragon at least once! Fufufufu! Let's decide who is the real hero of the Underworld!"

"Fufufu! Satan Red! I don't know who you are, but my Yukio is the legendary dragon, Sekiryuutei, and the descendant of Sparda! You have some nerve to take on the one who defeated the Norse Evil-God Loki." Rias spoke confidently, Yukio shooting her a disbelieving look as he had used a replica of Mjolnir to take out Loki. Red started to emit tremendous amount of Power of Destruction at Yukio, making him gulp as the former spoke "The opponent is the Seishinryuutei who defeated that Loki! I'm getting nervous! I haven't had this much anticipation in a while!"

"He's not the only one going to fight, Rias." Keiko spoke as she appeared on Yellow's other side, Rias' face paling at seeing Yukio's sister.

"Nee-san!?" Yukio asked surprised, Keiko offering her little brother a smile as she explained "I have to see if you have improved enough since Yukio-kun joined your peerage that you're not holding him back now."

"Right." Rias spoke after gulping, Keiko flaring her reiatsu before flash stepping towards the redhead as she added "We'll take our fight elsewhere, Rias."

With that Keiko grabbed hold of Rias before they both disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving Yukio to stare at the spot Rias had been as he wondered what his sister was up to.

"...Please just don't over do it." Yellow spoke with a sigh, Yukio sweatdropping as Sirzechs called "Tou!"

Yukio sonido'd away from the attack on instinct, wincing at the jab of pain in his chest as he activated the [Boosted Gear] and summoned Rebellion. The attack destroyed a large portion of the Colosseum behind where he had originally stood, making Yukio gulp once more before speaking "Ddraig... I'm gonna need your help."

[Yeah! I been waiting for this!] Ddraig spoke eagerly, triggering the Balance Breaker.

[Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker!]

"Balance Breaker: Boosted Gear Scale-Mail! Satan Red! Since it turned out like this, I won't hold back!" Yukio called as his armour formed around him, Red chuckling pleased as he replied "Fufufu! Bring it on!"

Rias gulped as each blast of the Power of Destruction was dodged effortlessly by Keiko as she ran towards her. The blonde wasn't even using her Shunko or Gilgamesh and was keeping Rias on the back foot, much to the latter's embarrassment.

"Have you not learnt anything from the training or battles you've been through?" Keiko spoke, appearing behind Rias before flash stepping away to not give the redhead any time to target her as she continued "Just tossing your power about didn't help you against Riser or Kokabiel."

"Hadō #31. Shakkahō!" Keiko called, firing a large orb of flames at the redhead. Rias threw her hand up on reflex at the attack, Power of Destruction forming a shield in front of her to block the flames.

"Good. Prove to me you no longer are a helpless damsel, Rias Gremory." Keiko shouted, Rias taking to the sky to dodge a kick from the blonde and looking in surprise at the crater that formed where she had stood.

"I will." Rias spoke seriously, surrounding herself in Power of Destruction before swiping her hand several times to release curved thin waves of the power at Keiko as she continued "I won't stand back when Yukio need my help."

Rias didn't let down her guard as her attacks struck Keiko, making an explosion and covering the blonde from view before her eyes widened at hearing her call "Shunko!"

Pink flames blasted away the smoke, revealing Keiko was unharmed and covered in pink flames as she spoke "Let's take this up to the next level and see how you do at close range."

...

Yukio took a moment to regain his breathe, ten minutes had passed since the battle started against Red... no, Sirzechs and none of his attacks had struck as anything ranged was destroyed by Power of Destruction and anything at close range was dodged and countered with a fist covered in the destructive power that destroyed any armour they struck. Even his Devil Arms had been of little use against Sirzechs for much the same reasons.

"What's wrong Hosokawa Yukio! Is this it!? Are your feelings towards Rias this small?" Sirzechs asked with a pose full of confidence.

"Sekiryuutei-kun! Do your best!" Serafall called from the seating area, Yukio turning to see the other Maous were sitting there watching.

"Keep on going. Fighting more then ten minutes at your current level against Sirzechs proves that you have a promising future. To tell you the truth, I never thought you would do this well. You are a better Sekiryuutei than I expected." Ajuka added while Falbium slept.

'Let's take this up another notch, Ddraig, Sparda.' Yukio thought as he focused his power, getting agreement from the two spirits before roaring "Devil Trigger!"

[Red Dragon Demon Mail!]

Yukio let out a deep breathe the moment the light had faded, drawing curious looks from the Maou as his wings flared out.

"So this is the Demon Mail that stopped Loki." Sirzechs spoke curiously, Yukio charging forwards at increased speed and dodging around the Power of Destruction blasts aimed at him.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!] Came from the jewels of Yukio's armour, powering himself up as he prepared a flame in his stomach. He threw a fist as Sirzechs' face, which the crimson haired man caught before Yukio barely hid his smirk.

[Transfer!] Yukio transferred the collected power into the flame inside of him and blasted Sirzechs from close range while spitting out the flames, covering the red satan in flames much to the man's surprise.

Yukio moved back quickly to avoid a possible counterattack, Sirzechs chuckling as he dispersed the flames with a flare of his aura to reveal slight burns over his costume as he spoke "Oh, that's good. I didn't expect you'd land such a hit on me. You do have a strong spirit..."

[Partner. Fighting for a long time will be a disadvantage. If you are going to take him down, then it's better to do it at once.] Ddraig spoke seriously, Yukio frowning as he asked 'I already struck him though... surely, our changes have gone up, even a little.'

[That will be hard. To tell you the truth, I never expected him to be this strong. Perhaps he's stronger than the Old-Lucifer? The power and destructive power is overwhelming, but that [Power of Destruction] is on a different level. He put his talent and effort into the concept of [eliminating]. There's probably nothing he can't destroy with that.] Ddraig explained, Yukio creating two orbs of dragon power in his hands before calling "Twin Dragon Shot!"

Sirzechs destroyed the twin beams of magic with his Power of Destruction with ease as Yukio thought to the spirits 'Can I try [Spirit Mail] against him?'

{It would be too dangerous...} Masayuki responded instantly as Yukio added 'It would only be for a few minutes...'

[I could divert some power to protect his spirit chain... and you can cut him out of Bankai if his reiatsu hits dangerous levels] Ddraig commented as Yukio fired another gout of flames at Sirzechs as he dodged counterattacks.

{Sparda...} Masayuki started to ask, only for Sirzechs to speak up "You like Rias, don't you? Is it alright like this? If you don't show a strong spirit to defeat me, then I can't let you take care of Rias!"

{Let him try, Masayuki. The Maou knows that Yukio was in a weakened state and yet still wants to continue with this trial...} Sparda spoke with a growl, {If he still continues this idiocy after that display I will personally rip Sirzechs in half for risking Yukio's recovery on something so asinine after all the help he's given those around him.}

{Hai.} Masayuki spoke, Yukio glowing brightly briefly as his appearance changed back to the normal [Scale Mail].

'Do you think I could combine the powers of Yamato and Tensa Amonusen for a single attack?' Yukio mentally asked as he pulled out Ebony and Ivory to continue peppering Sirzechs with demonic and dragonic enhanced bullets.

{Give us a moment to figure it out.} Sparda spoke up before adding {Ddraig give those pea shooters a power up.}

[Alright, I'll need to take in the guns like I did Ascalon.] Ddraig spoke with a grin, Yukio nodded as he stopped firing as both pistols glowed red before disappearing before making it seem as planned as he fired another [Dragon Shot] which he managed to avoid the orbs of Power of Destruction and force Sirzechs to dodge it.

[New guns are ready. Just repeat after me...] Ddraig spoke up, Yukio smiling pleased as he called "VARIS Ebony, Ivory!"

Appearing in both hands with two red rifles with gold accents that had the grips of Ebony and Ivory albeit longer. The main body was triangular shaped with two barrels at the point and gold decorating the tips of the other two points and a hexagonal green jewel on the flat sides.

[I figure having something adaptable like the [Super VARIS rifle] would be a good upgrade for those two peashooters you have and you can use them anytime.] Ddraig spoke with a grin, Yukio admiring them for a moment before unleashing a barrage of red bullets towards Sirzechs.

"You think those weapons will injure me." Sirzechs questioned as he destroyed the bullets, Yukio taking to the air again as he dodged a blast of Power of Destruction before he flicked a button on the side which opened up the main bodies of the rifles to reveal a larger cannon barrel.

"Try this then!" Yukio called as he fired both rifles, both firing what looked to be a mini [Dragon Shot] at the crimson haired Maou which were blocked by two crimson-black orbs of his signature power.

{Got it. You can combine the powers of both swords while in Tensa Amonusen by using the chain to connect them both together.} Sparda spoke up, Yukio nodding as he dismissed the rifles and muttered "Amonusen."

Sirzechs' eyes widened as he faltered with continuing his attacks at seeing the Zankaputo in Yukio's hand and wondered if he had pushed the silvernet a bit too far for his injured state only to hear his little sister's suitor shout "Bankai!"

[Red Dragon Spirit Mail!]

'Oh shit.' Sirzechs thought as he watched the reiatsu disperse to reveal the Bankai enhanced armour, even as Yukio breathed heavily and brought his free hand up as he muttered "Yamato."

"Yukio..." Sirzechs started, deciding he should end the spar before Yukio hurt himself and Rias got pissed at him when she found out about it. Sirzechs watched as the chain that hung on the end of Tensa Amonusen wiggled before shooting to connect itself to the hilt of Yamato, both auras from the swords mingling and combining through the chain as Yukio crossed his arms as he prepared to attack.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!] [Transfer!]

"Getsuga Juujishou!" Yukio roared, swinging his swords out in a cross shape and releasing a combined demonic and reiatsu energy at Sirzechs, making his eyes bulge in shock at seeing the size and strength of the attack.

Sirzechs moved an orb of Power of Destruction to destroy the attack, as he had done with most of Yukio's attack that had been at range, only to look shocked as the dual energy slashes carved through his attack before he recalled, 'Yamato can cut through anything...'

Sirzechs spread his wings to take flight and avoid the attack, watching it cut through the walls of the colessum they struck before turning his focus back onto Yukio to see him unconscious with both his Bankai and [Scale Mail] had dispelled and that Grayfia was holding him as she floated down to the ground. Sirzechs shivered as he cause Grayfia looking at him, no doubt glaring at him from under her own helmet as he thought, 'I am in deep deep trouble.'

"I can't believe you, Onii-sama... Yukio could have been really hurt by doing that cause of you." Yukio awoke to hearing Rias' voice, his eyes slowly opening to find himself lying on the ground before Keiko's voice continued "I thought you were only going to test him... Not push him to his limit so that he could potentially injure himself more."

"R...Rias...N...Nee-san." Yukio sleepily murmured, turning his head slightly to see Sirzechs back in regular clothing and black and blue with glaring Grayfia holding onto his cheek to stop him from escaping from a Shunko active Keiko and Rias whose uniform was ragged as if she had been in a war zone herself and her Power of Destruction was coating her hands like a crude pair of boxing gloves.

"Yukio!?" Rias spoke happily as she rushed over to Yukio, dropping to her knees and hugging him while he was still on the ground as she continued "Are you alright? Grayfia said you lost consciousness after using one attack in your [Spirit Mail]... I can't believe Onii-sama kept pushing you during your spar till you thought using that in your condition was good, you could have made yourself worse."

"Sparda said he'd pull the plug before I got anywhere near dangerous levels..." Yukio admitted tiredly, Rias worried look not fading as she retorted "Stupid, stupid, stupid..."

Rias slapped a hand against Yukio's chest each time she uttered the word before Yukio replied ashamed "I'm sorry... I thought he wanted to see all I could do at the moment."

[Partner] Ddraig started, [Your attack sliced through his Power of Destruction and if he hadn't dodged I imagine you'd have sliced him in bits as well.]

{Sirzechs' power is irregular for a devil and I imagine if he had been taking things seriously things would have been different in your clash as Yamato's cutting power is dependent on your own. But for you to be able to fight this much against him at the level he was going at means you're improving by leaps and bounds.} Sparda added in a serious tone, Yukio mentally humming as he thought 'Maybe I should start looking into combining the Devil Arms with the Scale Mail or something.'

"Both of you did very well and passed." Sirzechs spoke as he approached, his voice off due to his bruises and Grayfia still having a hold on his cheek, Yukio getting back to his feet with Rias' help.

"We both passed despite your recklessly pushing Yukio, Onii-sama." Rias spoke with a short glare at Sirzechs which made him shrink.

"Congratulations." Keiko spoke with a smile to the pair before Grayfia added "Congratulations. With this, both Master and Mistress will feel relieved."

"Congratulations Rias-chan, Yu-tan!" Serafall called as she appeared and jumped onto Rias first before glomping onto Yukio's side.

"...Ah. It finally finished." Falbium spoke with a sigh before Ajuka looked seriously at Yukio before asking "Can I have another look at the [Evil Pieces] inside of you for a bit?"

"I suppose..." Yukio answered before Ajuka poked a finger at his chest as he created many small magic circles which were circulating really fast as he spoke "Hmm. Looks like you are trying to do something interesting. You are going to the depth of the Sacred Gear, right? It's only something possible because it's a Sacred Gear type with a soul sealed in it. The one who pointed out this possibility must be the Viceroy of the Fallen Angels, Azazel. You're also combining the [Balance Breaker] power with the others you hold..."

Ajuka was smiling and looking like he was having fun as he observed the magic circles at work and deduced such things in a short time before added "...The power of chess pieces. The trait is being used on something else and is changing a bit, even now with [Spirit Mail] and [Demon Mail] forms. I should have noticed it before but this is an interesting phenomenon. Looks like it's overwritten by a code that isn't written in my programme. From my personal view, it must be the influence of [Hollow Juggernaut Drive]... But the overwritten code is messy. With this programme, it would malfunction easily... Yes. I will alter the [Evil Pieces] within you."

"Is that alright? I mean, won't it be unfair in the Rating Game if you do something like this?" Yukio asked shocked, Ajuka letting out a chuckle as he answered "Of course, I will make sure it won't work during the Rating Game. But it's better if you can use it in real battle, right? No. It also might be interesting if you can use it in the Rating Game. It might receive good response from viewers who like irregular causes. Well, since you are the Seishinryuutei, you would continue to fight enemy forces. It would be good to be in an environment where you can use the ideas of your abilities. More than that, it would be interesting for those viewing it. Also I need to give you my gratitude for stopping Diodora and accepting Arisu into your household."

"You don't have to worry about that. The ones at fault are us. Instead I feel deeply sorry for troubling you." Ajuka added at seeing Yukio about to reply, creating various magic circles again to continue tuning the [Evil Pieces] inside of the silvernet.

"Excuse me, Beelzebub-sama... How many secret factors did you include in the [Evil Piece]?" Yukio asked curiously, Ajuka giving a hard to read look with a sly smile as he answered "There's no way I would tell you that. I made it so the users can find out by themselves."

"Ajuka is a rare person among devils who 'create'. Thanks to that, the technology in the Underworld went up about five stages. But he doesn't care about the role as a Maou." Sirzechs spoke with a bitter smile before Ajuka shrugged and added "It suits me by creating and having fun."

"Sirzechs-chan and Ajuka-chan have always been both friends and rivals since a long time ago. They were both candidates for becoming 'Lucifer'. But since Sirzechs-chan was more talented at gathering people, Sirzechs-chan became 'Lucifer' while Ajuka-chan became 'Beezlebub'." Serafall whispered into Yukio's ear while still hugging him.

Yukio looked amazed between Sirzechs and Ajuka before Falbium spoke up "Both of you work too much... Let's take it more slowly... I can't follow your paces... You will become a loser if you work..."

"Yes. That should be it." Ajuka spoke with a nod as the circles vanished, Yukio patting his chest as he didn't feel any different to before as Ajuka added "From now on, you are going to change at your own pace. What I've done is just a start and the one who would choose a door from various doors and opening it with the key will be you."

"Thank you." Yukio spoke with a bow of his head.

"Now, I will go home. I created a certain game in the human world and am managing it. If I'm not there, difficulty will arise." Ajuka commented, Sirzechs raising an eyebrow as he asked "Ajuka. Is 'that' the case? Or is it your hobby?"

"Yeah. Hobby is something I want to treasure. Oh yeah, Seishinryuutei-kun. Do you also want to participate in my game? Don't worry. You can participate from just a single mobile phone." Ajuka asked in a somewhat creepy tone, Yukio shaking his head as he replied "N-No. I will pass."

"Is that so." Ajuka spoke with a bitter smile, "That's unfortunate. I will look forward to our net meeting. Rise to a new level."

With that Ajuka disappeared in a magic circle, soon followed by Falbium.

"Now. There is a plan to start the party for accomplishing the trials. I have already called and gathered Rias' servants and the others." Sirzechs spoke with a smile, Keiko smirking and creating a magic circle that a demonic looking motorbike appeared out of it as she spoke "We'll go on ahead to make sure things are ready but this here is something I meant to give you a while back, Yukio-kun. This is the Devil Arm: Cavaliere. I'm sure you can use this to get yourselves home."

Yukio blinked in surprise as he looked over the new Devil Arm before nodding as he replied "Alright, Nee-san."

"Rias, Yukio-kun. There's one last thing. I was going to announce it at the party, but I will tell it to both of you beforehand. The match against Sairaorg-sama has been decided." Sirzechs spoke, getting the young couple to look shocked at hearing that as he continued "The date and time will be about the same time as the Kuoh Academy's school festival. We will manage the remaining schedules but just keep that in your mind."

With that Serafall, Grayfia, Sirzechs and Keiko left in a magic circle, leaving Yukio and Rias with the demonic motorbike as the latter asked "Can you ride this?"

"It can't be harder then riding a griffin." Yukio commented as he sat down before adding "Tou-san has been explaining how to ride one as well during our spare time."

"Tou-san?" Rias murmured before realising that Yukio was speaking about Masayuki as she moved to sit down behind Yukio and wrapped her arms around his waist. Rias blushed as she realised it was a rather intimate position as her thighs were against the back to Yukio's and her chest was tightly pressed against his back.

"We will always be together, right? My lovely Yukio." Rias asked warmly, Yukio chuckling as he glanced back to her and replied "Of course, my lovely Rias."

Rias let out a yelp of surprise as Yukio gunned the engine and launched them off towards the Gremory Manor, the redhead blushing as she slapped his stomach as they rode.

Kenryu and Enryu shared a look after seeing the assassin who tried to sneak into the mansion collapse backwards with foam coming from his mouth, wondering why he had been after Rurichiyo in the first place.

(We should move Hime-sama to safety if someone is aiming to kill her.) Enryu signed to Kenryu, getting a nod from the blue-black haired man as he replied "You're right, Enryu. But where could be take her that's safe?"

(The human world?) Enryu signed back with a questioning look, Kenryu humming in thought as the two guards picked up the dead body to take it away before their charge might accidentally see it if she had been woken by the noise.

Author's Note

Here's the next chapter for your enjoyment and the rest of the Ruin of Connections side story. The VARIS rifles upgrade for Ebony and Ivory was suggested by .52 from Code Geass along with the idea to have Yukio combine his Devil Arms with his Scale Mail although I'll probably add them in as extras to the Triana like I'm thinking of doing with [Spirit Mail] and [Demon Mail]. The added trial for Rias and her spar was something ShadowUzumaki55 come up with seeing that its bit one sided overall to see if Yukio fits the standard of the Gremory and not see if Rias is good enough for Yukio in the same manner although I wasn't sure how to extend the fight between Keiko and Rias any longer. As for Cavaliere, I figure I should put it in given that its looks cool in the trailers for Devil May Cry 5 and will be aiming to put Balrog in as well.

Anyway, next chapter will be the Un-Resurrected Phenex side story before I attempt moving into a Bleach arc which probably is obvious from the little bit at the end of this chapter.
