Hello, everyone! This is a new chapter! Chapter 4! I hope everyone will enjoy this new chapter! Without further ado, let's start!

Normal POV

Debris fell all over the place as Yoh and the others tried to get through the smoke to find Aichi and the others.

" Aichi?! Kai?! Can you guys hear me?!"

" Over there!"

They looked at where Morti was pointing at as they saw Kai with a force field put up and Aichi and Tasuku were still fast asleep behind him.

" What just happened?!"

" Hey, guys!"

" Oh, it's you guys..."

" What happened here?!"

" He happened."

They looked over to their now destroyed accommodation as Reversed Kai emerged from the flames.

" Hey, it's that evil version of yours from the last time we met, wasn't it?"

" Yeah. He snuck into our place and attacked us. I'm just glad I could make it before Aichi and Tasuku got caught up in it."

" Long time no see. I hope you like my greeting."

" That's enough!"

Silva appeared as they all looked over to him.

" We do not allow Shaman fights outside the tournament timings! Wait until your team is up against each other before fighting! That is the rule or you'll be disqualified if you're not going to follow these rules!"

" Relax, Shaman Council. I'm just giving our little friends here a quick greeting. I'll be off now."

Reversed Kai disappeared as Kai took out his Overlord card.

" Overlord, get rid of the flames."

Overlord appeared as it extinguished the flames.

" We'll get the Nova Grapplers to fix it up, only with a better and protected version. Sorry for the wreckage, Silva! We'll handle it from here!" Ren shouted

Silva nodded as he left.

" They sure can nap. Well, Aichi was influenced by you while Tasuku is your son."

" Shut up, Ren. I've never asked for your opinion."

Kai shook Aichi awake as he yawned and rubbed his eyes.

" I can't believe you slept through all of this noise..."

" What happened here anyway?"

Sweat drop...

" I'll explain later, alright?"

" Huh?"

" Anyway, let's get going. We'll need to get out from the crowd..."

" Then use our place for now. It's close by." Chrono said

" Sure."

Kai helped Aichi stand while Aichi carried Tasuku as they started to take their leave.

" Uh, wait! We have questions for you!"

" What questions would that be?"

" Could you tell us? Why bring a one year old baby like Tasuku into this whole tournament?"

" Yeah, I mean, he's just a baby."

" That's true but it wasn't like he had a choice. He just defeated Silva by pure luck."

" Huh?!"

" Don't remind me of how he did that too... Jeez, this kid and his inherited powers..."

" Anyway, just ask Silva if you'd like. I'm sure he'll tell you."

They hurried to get out of the crowd that was gathering as Yoh and the others had no choice but to retreat from the crowd too. At Try3's temporary housing, Aichi and Kai were borrowed a room as they settled down.

" Thank you, Chrono."

" No problem! But who knew they'd join the tournament..."

" There's no choice... We need to beat them in the tournament no matter what."

" Yeah."

" Also... We had a match for tomorrow but it was suddenly cancelled. I heard the rest had the same problem."

" Suddenly cancelled?"

" You don't think it's because they did something, right?"

" No, according to the rules, violence and fights aren't allowed outside the tournament. Let's figure this out tomorrow. Right now, we need to focus on our mission at hand."

" Right. How are the diffride marks holding up?"

" Looks like there's no problem with travelling to different worlds. I'm surprised though. We have control over ourselves."

" As long as you have agreed to sharing the same body, you guys can take over at any time possible. And since we have control, they can travel back to Cray at their own convenience too."

" Chronojet, could you confirm our worries?"

A purple mark appeared on Chrono's hand as the light in his eyes flashed a slight purple for a few moments.

" Yes, Your Highness. It definitely is working well. I've been travelling back and forth between this world and back to Cray. Amazingly, the link still works even when we leave the body temporarily."

" That's good to hear. I've been worried ever since the last incident with those marks, even though it's what dragged us to this situation anyway."

" Is it really okay to be worrying about another world when we have our own problems at hand?"

" It's fine. Giving hope to people is something I'd like for to pass on to many in this world and Yoh and the others might just be the ones."

" I see. Well, I'll be making my way back to settle some business. I'll take over when necessary."

" Sure."

The mark disappeared as the flash of the light in his eyes returned to Chrono.

" See? Told you so."

" Yeah but next time, give me an earlier forewarning."

" Okay."

Tasuku squirmed a little before opening his eyes as he looked up at Aichi.

" Good afternoon, Tasuku. Had a good nap?"

" Ma!"

" Looks like you did. Are you hungry?"

" Bai!"

" I'll go make something for him to eat then."

" Yeah."

Kai left the room with Chrono as Aichi continued to entertain Tasuku.

" Ma! Ma!"

" You're so cute. I still wonder what kind of powers is inside this small body of yours. You could even defeat Silva."

" Uwai!"

Tasuku suddenly turned his head to the window as Aichi smiled a little. Aichi patted Tasuku's head before turning to the window.

" Your sensory is on the mark as always, Tasuku. I'll have to think of who you got that from but for now... Stop hiding. Just come out already."

Fudou and his companions came out of hiding as they were floating with their powers.

" We saw you interacting with Yoh Asakura and his spirit, Amidamaru. You should know full well Amidamaru is an evil spirit."

" Evil? I don't sense that from him. I think he's a little like Yoh. And are you trying to tell me something else?"

" We're also here to seal your spirits. It's possessing you two so as we speak."

" Possessing? For all I know, Lillia is the nicest spirit I've ever met. She'll never do anything to harm me and neither would their child, Daisuke. Right, Lillia?"

Lillia appeared as she nodded.

" Yes, I've never harmed Aichi and neither has Daisuke harmed Tasuku."

A black haired baby appeared beside Tasuku as they started babbling.

" See? No harm done."

" No matter what you say, spirits are pure evil! Seal them right now!"

" Seal?"

" We're Spirit Sealers. That's our job."

" Lillia, let me handle this. You and Daisuke should go for now."

" Yes. Daisuke, we're going."

Daisuke looked a little sad as he waved to Tasuku before disappearing with Lillia.

" U-Uwai!"

" It's okay, Tasuku. They'll be back soon. You have me here right now."

Aichi carried Tasuku as he saw the formation formed around him.

" That won't work."

The rainbow aura appeared as a wave of energy resonated and broke the formation.

" What?!"

" As if I'll let you seal away innocent spirits. Sure, there are evil ones lurking around but they are most definitely not our spirits."

" Why you!"

" Now, unless you want the council to find you guys, I'd suggest you leave right now or I won't hold back."

" Let's go! We'll seal his spirit next time!"

They went off as Aichi sighed and sat back down while continuing to play with Tasuku.

" Bai!"

" They were meanies, huh? Wanting to seal one of your friends away."

" Bai! Uwai!"

The door opened as Kai entered with Tasuku's baby food.

" I heard him from outside the door. He sounded angry."

" Yeah. Some spirit sealers came and tried to seal Lillia and Daisuke."

" Now why would they do that?"

" They think all spirits are evil."

" At least some are but definitely not ours." Kai said, slightly rolling his eyes

" I know what you mean. I guess we've basically found out why our matches keep getting cancelled."

" I bet those guys have been sealing their spirits too."

" Yeah. But, let's leave this to Yoh and the others since it looks like they have a grudge on Amidamaru."

" Why Amidamaru?"

" They called him an evil spirit. Maybe he did something horrible in the past but from the first time we met, he never really showed any evil in him. So I believe he's repent."

" You're right... Alright, Tasuku. Here's your meal. Open your mouth."

Tasuku opened his mouth as he started to eat the baby food and started cheering while clapping his hands.

" Glad you like it."

Aichi smiled at their interaction and looked out of the window before narrowing his eyes a little.

" Something you want from us?"

Mikihisa jumped into the room from the window as Kai and Tasuku were unfazed and continued doing their thing.

" I was just wondering about something. You group is fairly powerful. Powerful enough to defeat one of Zeke's elite group. I was thinking of giving Yoh and his friends some training, should they encounter Zeke's teams."

" And you came to us because...?"

" I would like to know if you would be interested in joining them."

" ... We're fairly busy ourselves with our own things. But... maybe it wouldn't be that bad to join. However, as I've said, we are too busy right now. Maybe we can get a replacement. An observer that'll take our place."

There was a knock on the door as Chrono entered.

" ... Am I interrupting something?"

" No, you're just in time. We need your powers. It'll be a little tiring, but we need to borrow a little bit of help... from another world, another... us."

" It'll take awhile to get permission, but I'll do what I can. I'll have to drop at a world where a guy coming out of a portal isn't a weird thing."

" You'll be able to handle it. I'll be counting on you then."

Chrono nodded and left.

" There you have it. I'll let the observers know the proper time and location once we have them. Just keep it a secret from Yoh and the others."

" ... Alright then."

Mikihisa told Aichi the time and location of the training and left as well.

" You know, bringing people from another world will create problems."

" I know. But getting someone else, even if they're another 'us', gives us a better judgement of Yoh's group. They still need to improve."

" ... I see."

Menawhile, Chrono used his powers and opened a portal in front of him as he entered it and looked around the dark room.

" Wow... I've seen Kai's old apartment in pictures before, but it was never this dark and gloomy..."

" What's gloomy?"

Chrono turned his head to the voice in surprise before smirking.

" Well, looks like I came to the right world though."

The next day, Mikihisa called Yoh and the others for training after seeing Zeke's team destroying another team earlier in the day as the two teams stood across each other.

" You need to change your battle strategies. You need to think more creatively and use your furyoku efficiently. The best Shaman fighter is not the one with the most furyoku, but the one who uses it more wisely. Before you start, I want you to think about your approach. What would your team have to do to beat the other team?"

" So what you're saying is, you want us to come up with a battle strategy, right?"

" Exactly."

While Rio managed to think up of a plan and start their discussion, Len and his team were still thinking.

" What about you, Team Len? Do you have any ideas? How can you beat Team Asakura?"

" We'll kick butt!"

" We'll blow them away!"

" But how? ... Think about your opponent. What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What skills do you need to use to fight the most effective? Got anything? Anything at all?"

" I got it! Yes! It is the most brilliant strategy of all time!"

" Very well then. Then let the practice fight between Team Asakura and Team Len... Ready? Fight!"

The two teams then did the same combination with their giant spirit forms as they began clashing their weapons again and again.

" ... Mikihisa. I don't think I was invited here to watch a useless slugfest where no winner will come out of. You better do something right now." A voice said

" Hm... Not sure... I know. Let's mix things up."

Mikihisa then sent out his guardian spirits to break both teams' formation as their spirits all went back to normal and they quickly recovered and sat up on the sand.

" What a disappointment."

Aichi floated down from a cloud as he looked over to Mikihisa.

" If this really was their training, then there definitely is a big problem."

" Agreed. How are you going to go against Zeke when you can't even go against my little spirits?"

" They may be little but they're fast!"

" Maybe you can't judge a spirit by its size!"

" How did we lose to them?"

" What went wrong?"

" You have great amount of power, but you need to become smart fighters. Furyoku isn't just about special style. If you can connect properly to your furyoku, you can empower all your senses and skills. I can teach you this, but you must do exactly as I say."

" Alright!"

" Wait. Before your training, I think it's better if I have a small talk with them."

" ... That's fine with me."

Mikihisa stood back as Aichi jumped down from the cloud.

" You can go back for now."

The cloud flew up into the sky after that as Aichi sighed.

" Now then... Where am I even supposed to start...? Honestly, I don't think you guys are getting stronger, considering your current strengths. It's as if you guys think that you can't win without the giant spirit forms."

" Isn't that not wrong?! The bigger, the better!" Trey said

" ... Have you heard of the term, 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall'? That's exactly what happened just now. Even my teams won't have any problem fighting you guys. If you keep this thinking up, you're never going to win the Shaman tournament."

" If you're so sure that you'll win anyway, why don't you show us what you mean?!" Len ask

" Len, you already lost to him once."

" I know that, Joco! But I'm not going to lose again!"

" Keep your cool, Len."

" It's fine. I'll fight you. However..." Aichi said as he wore three rings and took out a box, " Don't blame me for not holding back."

As soon as he clenched his fist, one of the rings lit up a bright orange flame as he injected the flames into the hole of the box. The box then opened up as a tree rose behind him.

" Okay! A tree does not grow in a desert! It's impossible!" Rio exclaimed

" I don't sense any furyoku in that tree. Just what is that?"

" What's wrong? Are you going to back out?" Aichi ask

Len took out his Sword of Thunder and infused his furyoku into it as he pierced it onto the sand and many weapons came out from the sand. Suddenly, a roar and a bright orange light shone as the weapons turned into Stone and shattered.

" What was that?!"

A white tiger growled and stepped in front of Aichi as he petted it.

" There's no need to come out and help me, Axil. Let me handle him myself. Be a good boy and turn back into your ring."

The tiger, Axil, turned back to Aichi as it turned into orange flames and went back into Aichi's pocket.

" Well? Is that all for your attack? If so..."

The tree glowed as it shrunk and turned into a golden sword.

" Len, be careful!"

" Let's see how you'll fare with this attack."

Aichi drew the sword as he charged at Len and brought the sword down. Len immediately blocked the attack as both weapons clashed.

" Hold up! What kind of sword is that?! It hits hard!" Joco exclaimed

" And it's from a tree?!" Trey exclaimed

Aichi continuously dealt hard hits on Len as their weapons continuously clashed.

" Is blocking the only thing you can do?"

" Bason! Giant Spirit Form!"

Bason went into Giant Spirit Form as Aichi sighed.

" And so it ends."

The same cloud flew down as Aichi jumped into it to dodge Bason's attack. It flew above Bason after that.

" Is that all you can do now?! Who's bragging now?!" Len said

" You get too hot in the head too quickly. Time to end this." Aichi said as he took out an orb and it floated up, " Bloom."

The blade of the sword glowed and scattered into flowers as they combined with the orb and bloomed opened into a flower.

" Burst Element."

The flower shot out a giant beam onto Bason as he exploded and Len fell off of him immediately. The flowers immediately surrounded him as Aichi landed.

" It's over."

The flowers turned back into the blade as Aichi sheathed it.

" We have a match tomorrow. You're free to come and watch it." Aichi said

" Huh? But there's no-"

Their Oracle Bells rang as they checked the next match. 'Team Cray versus Team Gyze'.

" Wait. Gyze?" Yoh said

" ... Interesting. They'll be interesting opponents." Aichi muttered before leaving on the cloud

" He just left."

" Yeah..."

After awhile, Aichi landed in the housing as he sighed.

" How was it?"

" They still haven't learned, I see."

The real Aichi came towards him after watching everything from a projection as he took back his Oracle Bell.

" I'll keep up the act until tomorrow as promised. Who knew there would be such interesting mechanics in this world."

" Yeah, there definitely is. Your 'flames' are interesting too."

" True."

" I knew you guys were the right ones to look for after seeing your world's Kai's reaction towards someone opening a portal in your world." Chrono said

" He's practically immune to the weird stuff that happens now. I'll head back first then."

" Okay."

Chrono opened a portal for him to go back to his own world as he stepped into it after thanking Chrono.

" Hm... I'm not sure why, but his eyes bother me." Aichi said

" What do you mean?"

" It's as if he would turn into someone different everytime I look at him. It's probably just my imagination though."

And that's the end of this chapter! Thank you for reading! I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter and I'll see everyone in the next chapter!
