A few weeks went on. I spent my summer hanging out with the girls, partying with them and the boys (since me and Draco had that chat we were now able to see each other out without having any problems), and going to restaurants with Miles.

Draco wasn't a bad person, he had his attitude and a bit too much confidence but other than that he's nice. and to be fair, I've probably hurt him as much as he's hurt me. So I don't feel bad about us being friends. But that doesn't mean we're getting back together.

No, I had another problem. Well, it wasn't a problem per say, it was just the fact that Miles had practically had a girlfriend until he met me. All my friends have been worried because there's rumours going around about him cheating on her with me. But that's just not true! We didn't do anything until he broke up with his girlfriend, and whatever feelings he had for me while he was still with her, I'm not sure. He told me as soon as he met me he never wanted to be with anyone else so he basically split up with her for me. But I never told him to, and it's super awkward for me that he did that because I don't want her to blame me. I don't want to be partly responsible for someone getting hurt as I fear she has been. But I can't control his actions. There's lots of rumours going around right now, people have been telling me Draco still likes me, but then other people have been telling me they've seen him hook up with other girls, I really don't care either way, what I do care about is when people are saying I'm using Miles to get over Draco or make Draco jealous. Obviously it's not my friends who're saying this, but acquaintances of ours are saying it behind my back. I'm definitely not using Miles for anything, I like him and it's nice to spend time with him and that's that.

I don't miss Draco at all. I see him enough with the gang, partying, and he's all right as a friend but I don't really want to hang out with him even, I only do it because we have the same friends so I have to.

Last night I went out with all the girls – first we had pre-drinks at Daphne's, then we went round a pub and met Theo, Blaise, Crabbe, Goyle and Draco (no Warrington, Montague or Marcus Flint sadly), and we had a few pints there. Then all of us went round the Wizarding night club in Diagon Alley and we had a brilliant time for a while, in one of the private areas with the sofas and the balcony for smoking and we ordered in a few bottles which came floating in through the air. It was brilliant, the lads of course brought in a gang of girls that they all tried pulling...

Me and the girls didn't really want to hang round as the boys just got off with random girls so we went out to the dance floor, we had a lovely time drinking and dancing it was quite sweaty but just fun, then all of a sudden Daphne (who just knows everything and everyone through gossip) leaned forward and shouted in my ear through the loud music, "Don't turn round but that's Miles' ex girlfriend over there!"

I looked at her confusedly, wanting to turn around to see her, but we kept on dancing for a few minutes. Then Tracey shouted, "what's going on?" coming close to me. Daphne laughed excitedly, "Merlin's beard, she's looking over here now!"

"What?" I spluttered.

"Murdering stare!" Daphne shouted, amused.

"You're joking?" I said feeling nervous. I'm not exactly confrontational. Daphne laughed loudly and Tracey commented through the loud music: "Right maybe we should just go back to the room for a moment—"

"Yeah," I said hastily and she took my hand and we started making our way through the crowd, Daphne and Aurelia following but shouting their protests – they do love the drama.

Just as we reached the door to our private area, I heard someone call out my name right behind me, and I turned round, still holding Tracey's hand. And there stood a girl I didn't know.

"You're Pansy, aren't you?" She said. Tracey noticed I'd stopped so she did too, just as Daphne and Aurelia caught up with us.

"Yeah, do I know you?" I asked. She was with a girlfriend. We had to lean in close and shout in each other's ears to hear because of the music.

"No, erm, I'm Gemma," she said, reaching out her hand to greet me, "I'm Miles' ex girlfriend."

"Oh," I said, shaking her hand awkwardly.

"I just wanted to talk to you," she leaned in close and shouted through the beating music. I nodded hastily, wishing I didn't have to, and she lead me a little bit aside. "It's nice to meet you, I hope you're not like scared that I recognised you at a club."

"Oh, no," I said quickly.

"I just you know," she gave a sad laugh, "you always want to check out your ex's new girlfriend, you know..."

I looked away, "Oh, yeah." Then something caught my attention, the security guards who were in front of the entrance to our private room seemed to be discussing something with Daphne and Aurelia (Tracey and Gemma's friend stood beside them sort of awkwardly) and I heard Daphne shouting: "We've fucking rented this room you idiot!" I groaned inwardly.

Gemma didn't seem to notice what was going on, she kept talking.
"There's just something I want to tell you, girl to girl, you know." I nodded and she went on, "I just think it's weird to go and flirt and be with someone who has a girlfriend, I just have to say that."

I just stared at her, and I swallowed hard, I had no idea what to say. Over by the door, some of the guys (Theo, Draco and Blaise) had appeared and seemed to be explaining the situation to the security so that they would let the girls in, but then they noticed us (Daphne pointed over at us saying they couldn't go in without me) and I heard Blaise saying "who's that?" and Daphne loudly, laughing a little: "It's Miles' mad ex-girlfriend!"

"I'm sorry, I just had to say that. It's just a bit weird," Gemma went on, leaning in close to my ear over the loud music.

"Yeah, I—" I began, and that was when Blaise and Draco came up behind me and Blaise said loudly: "What's going on?"

I turned round, I hadn't heard them because of the loud music. It was really difficult talking in such surroundings.

"Oh, nothing," I began, but Gemma then leaned into me and said: "And now you're here with your ex-boyfriend, while you're dating Miles, that's just such weird behaviour!"

I was sort of shocked she was so nice just moments before and now she was saying these weird things. I'm not used to being reprimanded like that; I never get into arguments or anything. And that was when Draco joined the conversation. Just as Blaise called out, "What?" as a response to Gemma's comment, Draco moved closer to her and shouted, "Who the fuck are you?"

"I'm Miles' ex-girlfriend!"

"I don't fucking care," said Draco.

"Then why did you ask?" said Gemma.

Draco leaned in to make her hear him over the music. "You don't just say things like that about Pansy."

I hastily said, "Draco, leave it!" But I don't think he heard me. Blaise had a grip on Draco's arm (knowing Draco can get very angry).

"I wasn't saying anything about her. I was just saying it's weird how she can be with my boyfriend while he was with me!"

"I dont think that's any of your business, is it?" said Draco.

Meanwhile Daphne, Tracey, Aurelia and Gemma's friend had also come up to us

"I think it is! Since she was like all over him while he was still with me!"

Draco held up a hand in her face, cutting her off. "Listen, listen, yeah you need to calm down, your boyfriend was the one flirting with other girls, he's the one you should be angry with."

"Don't put your hand in my face, yeah! I mean you don't even know me, I'm angry with Miles as well, I just wanted to see the slut he was with—"

That's when Daphne got angry. "Pardon?!" she shouted, getting in very close to Gemma, as Draco reacted quite similarly, "Whoa!"

"What did you just say?" said Daphne, waving her drink in Gemma's face. Blaise quickly grabbed her by the shoulders from behind, knowing Daphne is very aggressive towards girls who treats her friends badly.

"Oh you don't think it's slutty to get off with a bloke who's got a girlfriend? I mean who does that?"

That was when I finally pushed forward and spoke up, "Excuse me, but I didn't do anything with him while he was with you!"

"Oh, right! As if he dumped me for some girl he hadn't even kissed?!"

"Listen, I'm not the reason he dumped you!"

"Excuse me? How can you even say that? We were great before you came along!"

"Maybe you should learn to keep a man, I mean look at you!" said Draco nastily and he motioned towards her body, looking at her disgustedly. We all noticed he was getting angry. "Can you really blame him?"

Daphne laughed loudly. This was probably the only type of situation Daphne and Draco agreed with each other and could appreciate the other. Otherwise they can't stand each other.

Gemma's friend said, "Maybe we should go!"

"Yeah maybe you should!" shouted Daphne.

"It's sick how you lot can defend something like that! How can you think that that's right?" Gemma went on.

"Listen, yeah, she said she didn't do anything with him until you'd split up!" said Tracey.

"You're just a very shady person," Gemma directed this at me now, "It's so sick to me how you can date Miles and still like hang out with your ex-boyfriend all the time—"

Draco held up his hands. "Whoa, who the fuck are you – stalker ex-girlfriend? How do you even know I'm her ex-boyfriend? You're fucking mad!"

"Everyone at Hogwarts knows that! And it's just sick, Pansy, it is, that you hang out with him while you're seeing Miles, you're just so fraudulent! And since Miles don't go to Hogwarts anymore or hang out with you people, I'm only looking out for him!"

"Sorry?!" Daphne exclaimed. "That hasn't got anything to do with you!"

"Do you see us doing anything?" said Draco, motioning between me and him. "We're friends, have you never been friends with a bloke?"

"I'm just saying that, that's all. You seem like a really shady person! I would never do anything with anyone who had a girlfriend."

"And she fucking didn't either!" Daphne shouted.

"You're mental," Draco laughed derisively and loudly, "Get the fuck out of here." She and her friend backed, and she shouted, "You're all so immature, Merlin!"

But Draco and Daphne just shouted, "Yeah, fuck off! Go on," and it took a long time before any of us could calm either of them down.
