Disclaimer: Oi, so is my dearest Harry in Slytherin? No, alast! I have no rights to the Harry Potter or Percy Jackson franchise.
Nico saw the looks he was getting from the other campers as he exited the area. They were waiting, waiting on him to mess up again, but this time with his newly found brother. He always did here lately. Someone new would come along to attempt getting close to him, but between his temper and uncontrollable powers, he had pushed them away. Few realized that he was on a downhill slide and not stopping, those who did didn't care.
Wandering down the path towards the cabins, he put his hood up trying to ignore the camper's eyes. It was a pretty evening with the breeze slowly picking up. He shivered, his feet leading him to the Hermes's Cabin to gather what little he had. Everyone was still at dinner, so he snuck in quietly, narrowly avoiding the booby traps. Shaking his head, he let the shadows elope him as a cover as he left.
He walked past the few back at the cabins, finally entering Hade's Cabin. Looking at everything in awe again, he still couldn't believe that Harry had risen it from almost nothing. The room was simple, yet more extravagant than anything he had every expected to have. Yawning, he went to the chest at the end of his bed, curious what may lay inside. Opening the chest, he found clothing from night to day wear as well as a note.
"A gift to my sons, I may not be able to help more as a parent, but hope it helps. The clothing is magic-resistant and blends in with the shadows, made from the fur of Hellhound. Hope you both do well together, your father."
He grinned, his father had gifted them clothing. A lame gift compared to others, but for a demi-god child it meant everything. He was happy even more for it. Hade treated them like legitimate sons, while acting like a real father. He got them what they needed, rather than random items that they wouldn't appreciate as much.
Slipping into a shirt and a pair of shorts from the chest, he began looking around the room for a nightlight of sorts.
He didn't know how long it was until Harry returned, so he was at a lost what to do until then. Usually he would wander around the shore, letting his feet seep into the sand, as he let the sounds of the water lull him into a calm. He did love the listen to the waves crash into the rocks, as he explored the coves nearby. He mused to himself, at least until the Hermes cabin decided to quiet down and bunker down for the night.
He now had he own space, where he could sleep, work, and even play Mythomagic whenever he wished. With that thought, his expression became downcast. That game...Was the downfall of his own sister. His love of the game, had led his sister to her tragedy that was her untimely death.
Shadows creeped into the room as his thoughts spiraled into the abyss that was his mind. It had been happening more frequently. Him losing control of his power, while blaming himself for everything that had happened since they had left the Lotus Hotel. Shivering, he cowered into himself, trying to draw himself out and pull the shadow in before something else came.
A gasp started him from his thoughts, as he looked up to see Thalia standing at the edge of the Cabin. The shadows chose then to disappear, leaving no trace of his power. She had the decency to look apologetic, pushing a strand of her dark hair back. "Um, hi!", she said sheepishly.
