April….
Spring break, hell to the yea.
After a wonderful romantic Valentine's Day, I thought that Edward and I would probably just lounge around Forks for Spring Break. But I failed to realize that Edward and his family take vacations seriously. I guess that is why my ass is now toasting in the warm sun on a tropical island.
What Island you ask?
The one Carlisle gave Aunt Esme for Valentine's Day. Isle Esme. Private, secluded and very beautiful. Emmett and I were shocked when she told us about it. I mean we knew the Cullen family had money but damn.
Speaking of Emmett, he and Rose are busy frolicking in the ocean on the other side of the island. I took that as for code that they wanted to do some sexing away from prying eyes.
Rose and Alice have semi made up since the day Alice and Jasper broke up. It's a tentative friendship that both are trying to cultivate. I was proud of them for not just saying fuck it and ignoring one another. But I guess with Emmett being Alice's step brother Rose figures one way or another she is always going to be tied to her, might as well make nice.
Alice and Jasper, sigh.
Alice confronted Jasper, they talked things out and decided to stay broken up. Two weeks later Jasper went on a date with a girl named Heidi who just moved to town, what happened after that wasn't pretty.
Alice went all crazy ex-girlfriend, ala Miranda Lambert style. She rushed into the diner where Jasper took Heidi, told Heidi to get away from her man before she deflated her fake boobs with a fork then told Jasper she loved him and she'd always love him. Jasper quietly told her he was on a date; she threw a salt shaker at his head and called him an asshole who was in denial.
She changed her tactics after that an went out on a date with Mike Newton. Yea I was thinking about staging an intervention after that stunt.
However, it worked. After three dates and one very public kiss Alice got a response out of Jasper. Mike was kissing Alice in the school cafeteria, Jasper marches up, smashes his hand into Mikes face and tells him to get his own damn woman, the pixie was his. Jasper snatches Alice up and plants a kiss on her.
She made him work for it though, it was a month before Alice went out with him again. They are taking things slow for now. Alice told me she thinks what happened before is that they moved to quickly and didn't form all the bonds they needed to withstand the bad times. She was determined to do that this time though. So far so good.
"Bella why are your lips moving, love?" Edward jerks me out of my thoughts giving me that perfect crooked grin.
"Lies Edward, my lips weren't moving. My word against yours." I joke and he leans back on his lounger laughing.
"Bella baby?" I look at him and he has that look, ladies you know that look, the one your man gives you when he wants to play hide the sausage.
"Yes Edward darling?" I respond coyly.
"Is it nap time yet?" I roll my eyes and hold out my hand. He does this cute fist pump thing before dragging me to our room.

School started again and I keep thinking back to the wonderful memories of the spring break, which includes Edward and I naked.
Jacuzzi sex is awesome, nuff said.
Edward and I discussed college already, both applying to the same colleges, and going to the one we both get into. Hopefully we will both get into one of our picks. We also decided to focus on the west coast to stay close to our family.
September…
Edward and I were unpacking our apartment in Portland, both of us attending Lewis and Clark college there starting this fall. I still couldn't get over the fact that we had a place, just the two of us. Of course, Alice and Jasper live in the apartment upstairs but that is beside the point. This was just Edward and my place. We could walk around naked and no one could tell us not too. It completely rocks.
"Hello?" I answer my cell phone without looking at the caller id, I was to wrapped up in the fantasy of a naked Edward.
"Hey Bellabear." Emmett greats and I giggle.
"Hey Emmybear. How is move in going?" Emmett and Rose decided to attend the University of Washington in Seattle, Rose got a full scholarship and couldn't turn it down.
"It's good, Rosie is trying to give me food poisoning though." I hear a whack and Em's oww and laugh.
"Be nice Em, she knows where you sleep at night." I kid.
"Yea, yea. So how is your move in going?"
"It's almost done, the guys from the furniture store delivered everything this morning, Edward went to the hardware store for some paint swatches, I guess beige isn't his thing." I smile at that. While we live in an "apartment" it's actually in a two-story house that Carlisle bought and had converted into two separate apartments. We can paint all we want.
"Well don't let him force pink on you kiddo."
"Hush Em." God, I miss him. "I miss you so much Em."
"I miss you too Bells." He says softly.
"I'll see you soon, though right?" I almost beg, I've never been separated from Emmett before and it feels to weird.
"Soon baby bear, soon." He promises. "Listen Bells, I gotta go, we have orientation in an hour."
"Ok Em." I reply sadly.
"Hey Bells you know it will always be, Emmybear and Bellabear against the world."
"Always." I agree.
"Love you baby bear."
"Love you big bear."He chuckles and says goodbye.
January
Unlike last holiday season things went off well this year. Renee didn't show up, though she did send me an invitation to her wedding, the groom was an eighty-year-old millionaire. In the envelope she wrote me a long letter apologizing for being a bitch, and telling me that she was now in an alcohol recovery program. I sent her back a post card saying have a nice life. I trust her about as far as I can throw her, and in the back of my mind I knew that this could be one of her little games. I worry about the woman, though I'm grateful she left me with Charlie when I was a kid.
Speaking of Charlie, I'm going to be a big sister. No really, he got this lady named Lucy who lives in Port Angeles in the family way. I guess they had been seeing each other off and on for a few years on the down low and now my dad is her baby daddy. She's moved in with Charlie and they are planning to tie the knot before the arrival of the baby. For Christmas Emmett gav Charlie some condoms and a user guide, I've never seen my Dad that red in the face in my life. It was actually pretty damn funny.
Speaking of babies all of Forks was stunned when Tanya announced the day before Christmas in the middle of the Christmas parade that she was pregnant and that Mike Newton was the father. She then called him a dead-beat dad and screamed at him for denying he was her baby daddy. The fight escalated until Charlie had to intervene. It was like watching a local production of Maury or something like that. Good times. .
July…
The morning of the fourth we woke up to the news that Alice and Jasper ran away together and got married in Vegas. I was shocked, Alice always seemed like the plan everything potential Bridezilla type. Though my shock was overshadowed by Carlisle and Edward's anger. They both felt left out, hurt and downright pissed. Rose just laughed and told Emmett that everyone always thought it would be them running off to elope, and that her Mom owed her fifty bucks for loosing that bet.
For summer vacation we had all moved back home so it was interesting when Alice and Jasper returned from Vegas, Carlisle retaliated by taking away her credit cards. Not that, that stopped the two love birds. Alice claimed they didn't need money they'd live on love. Jasper moved in with us and about a week after they started living on love, aka walking around the house dry humping like newlyweds, Aunt Esme put her foot down, gave them the keys to the old house and Alice a limited credit card to live off of. She budgeted them so they would know how hard it was to be a newly wedded couple. That worked out better for all of us, I really didn't like hearing Alice screaming fuck me General in the middle of the night, and Jasper telling her to mount up. Ewww.
Charlie and Lucy's baby boy was born. Kyle Charles Swan was born at four am July twenty seventh at a whopping nine pound three ounces, and twenty two inches long. I felt so bad for Lucy, but so happy for them at the same time.
September, back at school
Quietly I sit on the sofa looking between two framed pictures one of all of us from graduation and the other of Emmett and I right before Uncle Marcus died. Life was so different now than it was then. It's funny though how finding Edward, finding love came with saying goodbye to my beloved Uncle. I guess it's true that every new beginning starts with another beginning's end.
"Why so melancholy love?" I guess I missed him coming in the door. My sexy piece of man meat.
"Just thinking about how far we've come." I smile.
"Yes we've come pretty far." He smiles back, but it turns wicked and downright naughty. "And I think it's time for you to come again." He comes at me and I squeal and run away. He chases me around till finally he catches me. "To our bedroom Mrs. Cullen." He jokes.
"Edward we're not married." I can't help but remind him.
"But we will be someday Bella baby, I'm just getting the practice in now." And as his lips descend to mine, I can't help but smile at his logic. And look forward to the day that I am in fact Mrs. Edward Cullen.
