There she was, staring up at the Citadel. She was back, but not in the right circumstances. She's hoped she'd of come back on better terms. But a war wasn't one of them. She wasn't intending to kill anybody, Daleks on the other hand, were an exception. After all that happened with Alex, her dear Alex, Susan would be lying if she didn't want an almost revenge for them killing her son. Plus she knew the Daleks and how they worked. That's why she wanted to come and help. Wanted to fight.

She followed the man that had brought her back to Gallifrey, she'd missed the orange sky, the smell of the air, the silver leaves of the trees, she was led into the doors that lend to the heart of the Citadel. She remembered being taken here to go into the Academy at the age of 8, her initiation was now at the forefront of her mind, she'd ran and never looked back. Now she was back, helping the very people her and her grandfather had run away from.

Grandfather, she thought. She'd left him standing in-front if her locked front door. Whilst she felt guilty for leaving him, she knew she was the only time lord, apart from her own grandfather who knew the Daleks as well as he did.

"Mrs Campbell, please" The Time Lord was trying to hurry her along, she'd not realized she'd slowed down. She started walking at a faster pace to catch up with him. She'd almost forgotten what the inside of the Citadel looked like, with its high ceilings and dark walls. The Gallifrian art and symbols on the walls, it would be beautiful if it was the right time to be admiring Gallifreyan architecture.

They were coming up to some big and heavy set of doors, the man knocked on the door and stated his name. Which Susan didn't catch as she wasn't paying too much attention. The doors opened and Susan followed the man inside. There was a huge oval shaped table with gallifreyian writing around the edges, and screens which showed either other Time Lords or areas of Gallifrey.

"Arkitiyor, good to see you" The person that spoke with a slight amusement to his voice, as if he wasn't expecting to see her, or expected her to leave.

"My name is Susan. I haven't used that name for years and I would agree but it's war"

"Yes.. sorry.. Susan.. I'm glad you agreed to help us fight"

I glared at him slightly. "I agreed to help you with my knowledge of The Daleks, not kill of fight"

The Offical looked at Susan unhappily.

"Mm, you're far to much like your grandfather.. always trying to be the good person"

Grandfather, The person she never wanted to hurt, but she knew that he knew that she had to do this, not just for their people, but for Alex, yes there was a slight chance that she was doing this as revenge for his death. To overthrow the Daleks and win the war.

"Mention his name one more time and I will leave, then you'll have no one to help"

She didn't want to threaten her own people so wary but if they were going to use her Grandfather as bait for the Time War then she wasn't going to be here much longer.

"Ok, understood. You understand that what you're agreeing to, is dangerous. And you.."

"Might not live to see the end of the war... yes... I know that Officer. Like I said, I'm prepared to help you with the knowledge I have"

The last thing she thought before signing the papers, was that she'd hoped her grandfather could forgive her and that he himself could make the right choice. For the sake of all the universe.
