Seidou High school Basesball Field B

Tokyo, Japan

Time : 4:25 pm

Agent : Podsolnecknik ( Eijun Sawamura)

Target : Miyuki Kazyuka

The dry summer heat rays seemed to beam down on the Seido baseball field. Eijun, swiping a few beads of sweat off of forehead, scanned the prepubescent catcher jogging up to him. "Miyuki Kazuya", the spy thought, cataloging his first impression about the mischievous fifteen-year-old, who couldn't seem to lose the whisper of a smirk on his face.

"Based off of the expression on his face, he's not expecting too much from me", Eijun thought, schooling the features of his face to a wary look, that any 14-year old being put on the spot would have.

Kazuya stopped in front of the smaller boy, sizing him up with a dismissive glance.

"We'll do about 10 rounds of catch to warm your shoulder up, and then start", the catcher said, before tossing a baseball the Eijun.

The young pitcher quickly nodded before taking a quick glance around the field at his observers, underneath his lashes. A majority of the boys seemed torn between watching the larger than life senior, boasting about teaching underclassmen a lesson about respect and surprisingly Miyuki.

"We'll I guess it's not so surprising, considering his track record", Eijun thought, thinking of the masses of sports journal articles centering around the genius catcher in front of him.

Being on Miyuki's radar was his first direct mission from his mission leader and would be his first test in which Rei would hold him standard to. After all "absolute perfection", was more than a motto in the Academy. Those that underperformed, were never talked about because one never does—at least if you still want to be seen again in the Academy.

After a few warmup pitches, Azuma swaggered onto the field as much prowess as an overstuffed rooster with just as much cockiness.

Pretending to be nervous, the young agent threw the baseball against the ground at the last minute to catch Miyuki's attention. Eijun, already had him with his out-going personality—now it was time to reel the fish in, catering to his catcher side by using his unpredictable new pitching form. After all, the catcher already showed his cards by intervening in the situation by calling it "interesting", what better way to entrance him than with a new pitching form in which the ball changes directions later. A natural moving pitch.

During a few moments of silence after the pitch, Azuma belted out a harsh laugh mocking the young pitcher for his inability to throw a pitch straight to him.

Eijun could almost hear Miyuki's thoughts about the pitch and wasn't least surprised when a lanky figure was once again jogging up to him, calling for a short time out.

Giving an earnestly confused response about how he had a 'feeling' that the ball was going to be hit out of the park, Eijun, played to the naiveté traits of his character. If he wanted to keep Miyuki's interest in him, the young spy knew he had to look like an interesting puzzle that would be worth the wait when finished.

Soon enough Miyuki's mouth twitched up into a familiar smirk and Eijun counted the mission as complete when the catcher casually put his arm on his shoulder. The young spy let his character fall for Miyuki's tricks of getting a reaction and soft teasing. Eijun turned his head slightly to the right and saw Rei give slight curve to the left side of her mouth and cock her hip to the side, giving a reaffirmation that his mission thus far was going along well.

"Forming a partnership between catcher and pitcher was essential for any battery especially one going to Koshien", Eijun thought while watching the brown-haired catcher briskly jog back to his position, "But why have me form one with Miyuki and so early?" The brunette quickly shook his head as if erasing the thoughts themselves, it wasn't his job to investigate these things and they implicitly warned him from the beginning about it. For now he would keep it as an open tab in the back of his mind.
