This is the rewritten version, I hope its better :)

When I moved over to Japan, from America, I didn't expect for the worlds governments to annouce the presence of Monsters. As in story and folk lore Monsters. From Minotaurs to Harpies to Arachne. They. All. Existed. I was kinda suprised... Alright I was really suprised by this. I also didn't exexpected to become a host for one of these monster girls.

This all started when I moved to Mito, a city in the Ibaraki Prefecture, in Japan. Mito is one of the smaller cities is Japan with a population estimate of 270,000 people before Liminals were introduced. The population is now around 340,000, give or take a few hundred people.

Anyways, I finally was able to move from the U.S. and already found a small, cheap Apartment that I could live in until I saved enough yen to buy a house for myself. I quickly found a job, working as a mechanic. I knew what I was doing, and the pay was pretty good, even if my boss was a cheapstake that was as shady as a goddamn shadow. Over time I learned to keep to myself, whilst I worked.

"Alright Boss, I'm heading home!" I said waving to the older man.

"Alright! Hey Jason-san, when will you start using honorifics?!"

"When I learn them, Boss!" I laughed as I walk out of the shop, heading to my small one room apartment.

--Time Skip-

I as walked up to the door of my apartment, I quickly checked my mailbox, Only to fine some bills, a few mail ads, and a relatively thick packet envelope. On the front of it was the Japanese Governent logo stamped on with black ink.

'Huh I wonder what the government wants with me?'

For-going the bills and ads, I quickly opened the packet, to see a inch thick book, a small packet, and a piece of paper.

'Hello Luther-san !

The Japanese Government would like to congratulate you, on being able to house a liminal. Here at the Cultural Exchange Program, we pay for everything. From your living situation to daily needs such as food. All you need to do is to go to the official website, and sign up.

We hope you have a great day.'

As I stare at the formal letter, I think to myself. 'I could use the money, and since I moved over, I haven't had much time to just talk to someone... It would be great talk someone.'

I look towards my old Dell laptop deciding on whether I should or not.

'Fuck it! I'm doing it. Whats the worst that could happen... Fuck, I just enacted Murphy's Law, didn't I?'

I sit down with my Laptop in front of me. I maneuver the mouse to the search engine and quickly type in the website address. I click on the sign-up button, and start filling the regular info, First name, Last name, CC number, CCV number, etc. After I filled the needed boxes the questions got a little weird.

There were questions such as 'On a scale 1 to 10, 1 being the least and 10 being the most, how comfortable are you willing to host one of the more dangerous species?' or 'Would you like your Homestay to be more human or less?' and finally, 'How many homestays are you willing to take in?' I stopped and re-read the questions. I quickly start thinking again.

'I know why they're asking these questions but I'm guessing that people aren't as willing to host some of the more dangerous Liminals... I think that every type of Liminal, dangerous or not, should have this chance to become apart of our society... Y'know what?! Fuck it!' I select '10', 'Either', and 'it doesn't matter' respectively, as my answers. After filling out a few more questions, I submit the form to IEP. and wait. after a little while I gotten hungry. I quickly made a quesadilla filled with cheese and ham to hold my hunger until dinner.

As I eat my quesadilla, I see that I recieved an email from the CEP.

"Congratulations, Luther-san, You have been approved to house a Liminal. It may take a few weeks to choose a Liminal for you, but in the mean time, You will be busy, moving to your new home! Your new home is located at * * *way. We hope you have a great day!

Sincrely, The Cultural Exchange Program."

'That was pretty quick! I thought that it was going to take a few days at the least and a month at the most! I should probably get over there.'

After riding in a taxi for a good hour and a half, the city streets slowly turned into fields and the car stopped at a lone mail box with a gravel road. I finally made it to my destination. After walking for a little bit, I finally am able to see my new house. The house itself was styled that of a wood cabin... if that cabin was a three story monster with a two car garage. Looking around I notice a note on the door.

'Dear Luther-san,

We, the CEP, hope you love your new home. We took some time to furbish it, we hope you like it. Your Cultural Exchange Coordinator is going to be one Kuroko Smith"

Sincerely, The CEP.

'Huh, well then. I wonder what my first homestay is going to be?' I wonder as I brew a cup of Joe in the coffe pot.

After checking out my new home, I set my bags down in the master bedroom, I look around, and find out that it's kinda plain, in a odd way. I notice a desk looking out towards the drive way. I set up my laptop, and what few pictures and photos of my family and friends. Setting up the last photo, the picture depicts a younger me with my at the time unit, taking some well deserved leave, two months before my kneecap was shattered due to a stray bullet, during a firefight. It wasn't the scar I got during my service, but it was one of the worst.

Shaking my head to get rid of the memories, I hear a vehicle coming up the drive way.

"I wasn't expecting my homestay to arrive this early..."

the vehicle approaching is a black, heavy duty van turned rolling tank, with stark qhite Lettering spelling out C.E.P on the sides.

It slow down to a stop and I head down towards the front door, I leave my cup of coffee on the desk. A knock sounds out and I reply with "Coming! Just a moment."

I open the door to greeted with a dark almost black haired woman wearing a business suit, almost everything being black except her white button-up and a pair black sunglasses.

"Hello there! my name is Mrs. Smith, are you Jason Luther?"

"Yes Ma'am, that's me. So you're my C.E.C?"

"Hm, polite. Yes I'm your C.E.C. Your Homestay Is leaving the van at the moment, I'll introduce you two accordingly, quick question: Do you have any coffee at the moment?"

"Yes, actually, Coffees in the coffee pot, creamer in the fridge, suger is in a bin next to the pot. I'll be right back, please welcome yourself, and as soon as she isn't busy the others may come inside as well."

"Thank you, Jason-san." She says as she bows down at the waist. I leave her alone as I run back up the stairs to grab my own cup of coffee.

I grab my coffee mug and get back down stairs, I notice a set of bags at the front door. The bags themselves were very normal in nature.

"Ah, Jason-san, I'm glad you could join us.

"This is Maya, your new home stay. She's a minotaur, I hope you two get along well. Also Mr. Luther, no hanky panky."At first I'm looking towards Maya, The first thing I notice of her is her height. At 7 and half feet tall, she towers over me by a foot, dark brown hair pulled up in a bun, with her bull horns jutting out from her hair line. I'll admit, I was a little caught off guard by Ms. Smith's unsubtle choice of words, I quickly stop myself from spit taking my coffee, causing me to choke my coffee down.

After getting hold of my breathing, I calmly look towards Mrs. Smith. I see her drinking her mug, but I notice her 'eye-smiling'.

"Ma'am, I am not some hormonal teen. I know how to control myself around women."

"Is that so?" She leans forward, allowing a clear visual down her cleavage. I don't break eye contact as I lean forward, our noses barely touching.

"That is so, Mrs. Smith, I'm use to being in the presence of an women, I'll was raised in a household of eight women, and myself. I like to think I know how to control myself."

She leans back, seemingly content with my answer, "Anyways I have to get back to office, take care of some paper work, I'll you two later on." With that said she gets up to leave and heads towards the front door.

"That woman is something else."
