Thank you for being so patient with me, people! I've seen new followers and likes, and that makes me very happy, and look! A new reviewer! How wonderful!

cherryinthebowl, I'm so glad you decided to give my story a chance. And flattered that you didn't find my OCs lacking - I spend a lot of time any time I try to create one, because I want them to avoid the Mary-Sue trap holes, and to keep a reader interested. As to the reason why this story has so few reviews, well, it could be because OC-centered stories are not very popular in FanFiction - I recall someone accusing me of wanting to shag Hiei in my YYH fanfic merely because it focused on an OC, for the love of God! - so many readers decide to let it pass by and not review it. It's ok, beats getting negative comments and insults that are nowhere near constructive criticism any day of the week! Also, I update very slowly due to my busy schedule, so they might get bored to check it again - statistically, most readers comment on something they read often and in quantities. Still, thank you for being my third reviewer! Your words made me so freaking happy!

Now, without further ado, on with the story! Oh, and Midorima's character profile is up in my profile!

Men could be such a pain in the ass sometimes, Junko thought. Especially doctors. She had dated a doctor once, but it sure as hell wasn't something to brag about. The guy could be such a whiny little bitch when things went against his wishes...

She stole a glance at the tall male she was dragging by the collar. He was giving her a fine example of the scariest scowl he could manage - one that promised unimaginable pain, had his mama never taught him the ways of a gentleman.

Too bad that the only way to stop her was through violence that he would never use. And that his facial expression did nothing to scare her away.

A couple of turns later, she reached her destination. She let go of the good doctor's collar, only to grab his tie when he tried to make a run for it. Her free hand formed a fist and banged on the wooden door in front of her twice, before reaching the doorknob and twisting it open. Midorima's eyes briefly caught sight of the metal tablet that read "Doctor Ueda Tomomi - Orthopedic Surgeon", before he was harshly dragged inside the room that served as his fellow doctor's office.

Junko shoved him to the center of the room, locking the door behind her and blocking the way for good measure. Her hand dug in her black and hot pink goth purse, and stilled once it reached the cold, metal handle it was looking for. She turned her amber eyes to the other occupants of the office.

The male had a look that showed he couldn't decide between being confused and pissed off. The female had risen from her chair behind the desk, green eyes frantically looking from the writer to Midorima, as if trying to fully grasp the situation. Finally, she gave up, sighed and asked the question she knew she would regret knowing the answer to.

"Junko-san, what is the meaning of this?"

Midorima's eyes grew wide, and he snapped his head towards his fellow doctor "Dr. Ueda, you... you know this... this heathen?!"

Dr. Ueda, or, as Junko called her when she tired of her usual nickname 'Doc', Tomomi, raised an eyebrow calmly. Finally realizing that Dr. Midorima meant personally, she gave a warm, motherly smile "Why, of course. I'm Miss Hayashi's go-to person when she needs medical research. We've been working together for a while now."

While her smile and her demeanor calmed his nerves somehow, her words did a fine job of getting him worked up again. To think she would admit that so openly! He wasn't in any close or friendly terms with the female surgeon, but they were polite to each other and he respected her greatly. She always kept her cool and her professionalism, even if she appeared cold and distant, and she always had a nice thing to say for all her co-workers. The fact that she was so mature always had a calming effect on him - he guessed it was because of her being older than him, though it didn't show at all. Given all that, his mind just couldn't believe the fact she had full-heartedly accepted not only knowing Hayashi Junko personally, but also having the patience to work with her!

Junko, ignoring all social manners - as always - , calmly motioned to Midorima, while keeping her eyes on Tomomi "I need to put psychotic Dr. Yoshida in a moral and emotional dilemma."

"Mi-do-ri-ma", the bespectacled giant of a man stressed impatiently. His nerves were pretty much ready to snap. "At least learn my name corre-"

"It's not yours", Tomomi interrupted him, her eyes lighting with recognition. "Junko-san is thinking only of her characters." Frowning, she asked "You used Dr. Midorima for your new villain? How so?"

The writer shrugged "He seemed perfect for the part. Now, channel up some Dr. Takahashi good ol' charm, and stop with the small talk."

Green eyes behind glasses blinked. Dr. Ueda was the inspiration for Detective Aki's most loyal ally?! He thought about it. Well, now that he knew, it made perfect sense. The blue-haired surgeon was different only in looks and some other subtle details compared to her fictional counterpart. He guessed Junko didn't get inspired just by him, after all, which was a relief, as it would calm the Aomines down at least.

Without giving it a second thought, Tomomi nodded "Sounds reasonable. What do you want me to do?"

The other busty bluenette - Midorima realized in mute horror that he actually noticed the generous breasts of both women, which only served to remind him how long it had been since he got laid, much to his embarrassment - relaxed some, seeing that at least one of the doctors was willing to cooperate, just the way she liked it "He has feelings for her. He needs to persuade her to be on his side." A ball of dread dropped heavily in his stomach. He already didn't like where this was going. "I need visual aid. I tried to find another way, but there's none. You two have to kiss. And it has to be in his office."

Her monotone voice did the trick of stalling them a bit, before they finally caught on to what she demanded. Two pairs of green eyes widened, before one of them narrowed again in a deadly glare.

"You can't be serious", the former Shutaku star shooter hissed. "Why would we do that?"

Junko shrugged again "Because I said so." She paused, appearing to consider something, before she pulled her hand along with something out of her purse "And because I have a gun."

How was it? Oh, the suspense is killing me! Bad, baaad Junko!
