I'm back! And with more time on my hands - hopefully I'll be updating more often for a while. Yes, that's right, yours truly finally finished her trainee period as a nursery assistant! (oh, I didn't tell you?! I'm a female Kuroko in real life, or at least I aspire to be - working with toddlers about 8 hours a day) I can't wait for my final exams and the day I get to officially work in the field! My kids cried when they heard their dear teacher would not be around anymore, and let me tell you, I nearly sobbed, too. But enough of that. Let's get to it!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own KnB, only my OCs and the situations I put all the characters go through in my story.

Shout out to Nightmare-Taichou! Thank you for your review, and hope you enjoy this new chapter, despite its small size, too! (also, fellow KPop fans, yay!)

Midorima was seriously considering doing an exorcism or asking for a temple's blessing. This just wasn't his week. Not only had he been forced to kiss his colleague, but he also experienced a week's worth thanks to that. Dr. Ueda was avoiding him as much as he was avoiding her – and he was fine with that, he told himself, as long as they were still on speaking terms when it came to professional matters.

But for some unfathomable reason he felt like a ticking bomb, ready to explode. And when, two days ago, a clumsy bouquet of wildflowers, courtesy of some guy named Daisuke, sat proudly on her desk, he found his words so snappy towards her, he had to excuse himself and rush to the safety of his own office.

This was ridiculous, and it was getting even more so by the minute. His eyebrow twitched as he watched the scene unfold in front of him.

"I'm sorry, Kagami… san, but I don't think Daisuke will be very agreeable with me marrying you, even if it's for a good cause", the woman tormenting his thoughts was explaining to the red-haired ape with an apologetic smile on her face.

Midorima tsked in the most discreet way. The fireman had asked for his friends to find as many single women as possible, but his reasons, when they were finally explained, were totally unexpected. Kagami was looking for a bride to be the father of a rich orphaned heir! He nearly considered this the most embarrassing thing he had to witness - until he recalled of how he had found Takao exiting the bathroom earlier, with a raging boner after what could only be a… a sexcapade of all things!

"How about you, Junko?", Kagami wasn't losing hope yet, he should give him that much, as he turned towards the sulking writer.

"Hell no!", she instantly shot him down.

"Come ooon", he started begging. "Help a friend out! I really need you!"

She frowned in disgust at his puppy dog face "So, in other words, you want me to marry you for no other reason but to become a glorified nanny?"

"OK, one, I'm going to be a surrogate father, not a babysitter", the fireman defended his intentions, clearly offended. "And two, trust me, if I had any other choice, I wouldn't have even considered it."

His reassurance did little to help his case. "The fuck…?", Junko growled in her lazy female baritone. "I have never been so insulted…"

"Then you mustn't be listening much to people when they talk to you", Kasamatsu butted in, with a deadpan expression on his usually scowling face.

The woman turned a withering glare his way, only to be interrupted by Aomine "Oi, Bakagami, you said you need to get married to take care of that brat you saved – so why is my wife among the other candidates?!"

The two ex-rivals started arguing after that, watched by the women Kagami had recruited to help him: Hayashi Junko, Dr. Ueda, and, because the Tiger was an idiot, Aomine's and Takao's wives.

"I think I may have a solution to your problem, Kagami-kun", a monotone voice made them all jump and yell respective calls of "KUROKO!/TETSU!", and "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

The kindergarten teacher ignored them and went on "How about a blind date?"

PREVIEW:

"I know that I just spit blood on you, and this is probably the wrong time, but would you consider marrying me? It's for a good cause."

"E-Excuse me...?"
