Two people of the Lossoth walk into the Prancing Pony. They are a man and woman and both seem extremely happy. The two find a table well away from the fireplace and the man tries to hold the chair out for the woman only to have his hands slapped away.
"I can hold my own chair," Pinja says.
"I know," Kaf says. "I was just trying to be nice."
"I don't need to be treated like I'm fragile. Although I suppose it's better than the way you've acted recently."
"I did apologize about that."
"That's another thing, you're horrible at apologies," Pinja says.
"Is all of our marraige going to be you yelling at me?"
The woman smiles coyly and grabs Raj's hand, "Not all of it but if you continue to act like a fool there will be plenty of yelling."
"I had loved you for so long but couldn't bring myself to ask for your hand."
"You are a kind bashful man. Also not a great fighter which explains why you couldn't succeed in tying me up."
"I wasn't expecting you to fight back that much," Raj says.
"What did you expect when you walked in with a rope?"
"The old traditions said this was a way to take a woman to be married."
"Why do you think they are old traditions?" Pinja says. "No one does them now because they are horrible practices."
"I know. It just seemed easier at the time than just speaking to you."
"Tying me up is one thing but you never gave me an answer for why you brought a blanket with you."
"I was going to cover you up when I put you on the sled so you didn't get cold," Raj says. "In my defense I made sure they were the softest and most cofortable furs I could get."
"Yes thank you for thinking of my comfort before kidnapping me."
"I thought it would be easiest to take you away from your brothers..."
"I can take care of my brothers," Pinja says. "If you had just asked for my hand I would have made sure they showed you kindness befitting my betrothed."
"I brought a friend to help keep them away while I was in your home with you."
"They're still upset about the bruises, but it's no less than they deserve for thinking they could control who I am with. I hope to get a chance to thank your companion for helping collect what I needed for the wedding dress."
"You looked beautiful," Raj says. "You always look beautiful."
"In the future promise you will ignore the old ways, please?"
"I promise I will never do anything like that again."
"I should hope not. I might actually have to break something instead of merely hitting you over the head if you do."
