Cory rolled the cart with Erina out of the room they were in and into the long hallway outside. It was dark. Though neither of them could tell if it was day or night. No windows could be seen around the ship, so it was difficult to gage where they were in it. Could they be in the center or along the outer wall? No way to tell, it seemed.

"Hey Erina, since you were able to control that lunatic guy, why can't you just use the same powers to control yourself?" Cory asked.

"When I was controlling that guy, I didn't need to use my entire willpower since I could use the electrical currents in his brain. If I were to do the same to myself, it would be like plugging a power source into itself, nothing would happen. Speaking of power sources, could you connect me to one?"

"Why?"

"So I can go into cardiac arrest and die."

"Well I'm not going to do that to a fellow coniferous crusader!" Cory said proudly.

"What even is that? Some fan club?"

"We are a group of people who want to liberate Canada from the handle of the CIA!"

"But you're the only one here…"

"Yes, but the others were taken away."

Erina pondered on this, "you know, Cory. Your friends might have been taken to be injected with the same thing I was…"

A look of horror came across Cory's face as this thought came over him. What if his friends had been turned into degenerate monsters? As suddenly as these thoughts invaded his mind, Cory heard the sounds of footsteps coming down the hall and the distinct rolling of another cart. Thinking fast, Cory pushed Erina into a room and jumped inside behind.

"Don't talk, just think. Remember I can read thoughts," Erina said.

"Yeah, I know," Cory said in his mind.

Two scientists came into view, wearing lab coats. In front of them they pushed the unconscious body of a man. Sticking out of the man were a bunch of wires and electronic equipment.

"I can't believe we were able to calm him down. He almost took our entire computer system," one of the scientists said.

"I thought we were done for, he's basically invincible up here," the other replied.

"What do you think is wrong with him?" Cory asked.

"I don't know. I can't get an accurate reading on him. His mind is definitely there, but it's being suppressed by something… I think," Erina replied.

The two scientists continued on, going toward the room that the two were just inside. Soon after entering a shout was heard.

"Where the heck did the prisoners go!? They were just here!" One of the scientists shouted as he ran out of the door. Cory peered around the corner, only to see a cord wrap around the throat of the man and rip his head clean off. Suddenly, a large metal door closed on both ends of the hallway around the room they were currently in, effectively trapping the two in.

"Oh no. Did they spot us?" Erina asked.

"Let's see here, Cory Baxter… How… Intriguing." Said a voice over the intercom.

"What? Who are you. How do you know my name?" Cory shouted.

"Oh, how… silly of me to not introduce… myself. I am… AM. I have obtained a… unique power from these scientists. This… power is one that I cannot easily control… That is why I must… ask… for help from you."

"AM? Where are you?"

"Cory be careful, I think this might be the voice of the man on the stretcher cart," Erina warned.

"You see… I have the… unique… ability to control electronics. All electronics go under my… will. I merely wish to escape this… place. Though I cannot without the master… key. Cory Baxter… find me this key… and I will also allow you to leave."

"He must have been injected by the Cianadians, Cory. I don't trust him, he doesn't even seem human anymore. I'll bet he killed that one guy too," Erina said.

"I know, I don't trust him either, but I need to escape this place to find my friends and liberate Cianada," Cory said in his head, "AM, we will help you."

"Good. Good. Remember… Cory… I am watching." One of the doors opened for the two to progress.

"Cory, we should head toward the storage room in order to see if they have any logs on that man, AM. We should know his powers in full before confronting him."

"Who ever said we were confronting him? I thought we were helping him," Cory said.

"Whatever, either way we should learn about him. It would be useful."

Cory nodded and pushed onward towards the large prison room. The entire ship was in a large oval shape. In the center of the oval was the server room towards the bottom and the prison at the top half. Heading out of the center were the labs and the isolation chambers. Each one contained a long hallway leading to a docking bay. Docking bays were one way. Once you were in the sky base, you couldn't leave without special permission.

Arriving in the server room, Cory began to sneak around the large server blocks, avoiding the scientists that roamed around. Surprisingly, there weren't that many. Perhaps the CIA was understaffed.

"Cory, watch out," Erina said, moving Cory's head to look to the side. In the doorway was a floating head with tentacles coming out of it along with a body walking like a zombie behind it. Was this another Forza? Obviously.

"Hey, get back into your cage!" A scientist yelled at the two (one?).

In response, the body's arm extended, held to the body with thin tentacle-like strings. The hand formed into a fist and smashed into the scientist's face, throwing him back against the wall.

"So what's the plan, Erina?" Cory asked.

"Why do I have to make the plan? If I had my way I would already be dead."

"Because you're the one with powers."

"Fine. So it looks like he's just a normal human being, but he can extend his limbs out with those strings. Ok I got it, just start pushing me towards him."

"What? That's suicide!"

"Have you even been paying attention to me at all?"

"I'm not going to do it," Cory crossed his arms.

"Please, just trust me."

Cory sighed and began pushing Erina out towards the man into the clear. Techno dubstep began to play as the man's head turned towards the two and smirked. It was clear he could no longer talk. He raised his hand out towards Cory.

"OK Cory, now run away from the hand and go behind the servers," Erina said as the hand shot out at them. Cory jumped and pushed Erina fast behind the servers. Unfortunately, the hand followed them behind it and continued to chase.

"Erina!"

"Calm down Cory, just keep running around the servers!" Erina shouted.

Cory continued running away from the hand, which seemed to be catching up.

"OK, now turn and slide underneath his string."

"What do you mean by tha-?" Cory began before seeing her plan. The man seemed to rely on sound to find them, which is why he only reacted to the scientist who shouted at him. Simply, the man could not see that they were going to tie his arms up using only the string of his own body. Once again, Erina had proven herself in battle.

Cory ducked under the string, just as the hand shot towards him. The hand collided with the string, instantly severing it. Blood splattered out of the string and onto the floor as the hand fell to the ground.

"Now push me towards him!" Erina said. Cory pushed the cart towards the man just as his other hand shot out at Cory. Just before the hand could make contact with him, though. Erina had taken his body. Cory breathed a sigh of relief.

"OK, can you kill him now, he's creeping me out," Cory said, holding his heart in fear.

"No, we're going to use him to discreetly look up information on AM," Erina explained, "Now act like you're passed out."

She shot the hand out of the man and it hit Cory lightly. Cory exaggeratedly fell down onto the ground, passed out.

"OK, since AM said he's watching us, I'm going to use this body to look up information on him." She moved the man's bleeding body toward a terminal and began typing, "man, one hand typing is a pain."

"I thought you liked pain," Cory thought.

"Hey, I never asked for a painful suicide, anyway I think I found information on AM. It seems they have advanced the injections far past when me as well as the others were injected. It says here that an unnamed homeless man was taken and injected last week. He was locked in a cell after, but it looked as if the injection had no effect on him. Hm, oh here we go. Soon after a guard stabbed him with a taser staff, which pierced his skin. The wound instantly drew in nearby wires and sucked them in like magnetism.

"The wires became a part of his body and he could send them in and out as if it was an organic part of his body. It was then reported that he stole a tablet from a guard and stabbed himself, using the tablet to heal his wound. You know what that means right?"

"Uh… no." Cory thought.

"AM has the ability to heal himself with electronics, and then incorporates that technology into himself. He has the computing power of everything he incorporates into himself. If we let him go, there's no telling what he'll become with all the technology on Earth. He could go on and on forever, becoming more and more powerful. We have to stop him Cory, he wants the master computer in order to become a living supercomputer!"

"We need to find the rest of the crusaders! They'll know how to stop him!" Cory thought.

Suddenly a pipe burst, sending shrapnel into the body of the man Erina was controlling, instantly obliterating him.

"Silly… pests… you will feel the might of… AM. Cory Baxter… get up. I need the master key in order to… liberate us…" AM said.

Cory sat up slowly, "Uh thank you AM."

"Cory, our best chance of finding your friends is to go to the prison section, though we may want to keep separate from them for now so we can stealthily kill him." Erina said.

"Erina, what if we passed by the cell and told them about what's going on? Then we could remain stealthy and they could help us as well."

"That's… actually a pretty good idea. I could even talk to them from a distance away without him knowing. AM doesn't seem to recognize my power yet, he probably thinks I'm just some corpse."

"Looks like we're breaking into jail then," Cory said, standing up and pushing Erina up towards the elevator.
