Raven and Cassandra were galloping through the woods, leaves brushing against their faces. When they came to a small clearing they slowed down.

"We've finally lost them.", Cassandra said, jumping off her horse. "Let's stop here." She opened a satchel and took out a cloth filled with food, a pot and two canteens.

Raven was 23 years old, not very tall and had black hair and a short beard. Cassandra was a year older than Raven and had messy light brown hair, which jut reached her shoulders. At the moment she had one part in the front in a very thin beaded braid.

Cassandra pulled out her 7 month old son, Gabriel, from her baby carrier, and took the blanket from the back of her bay horse, Azrael, and laid it on the ground. While she was feeding Gabriel, Raven started a fire. Raven was arranging the sticks so that he could put the pot on them, when they saw something falling from the sky, a shriek, which sounded rather like a human scream, and a thump. Raven and Cassandra got up quickly and headed in the direction from which the sound had come. A few hundred meters from the clearing they found a young girl in strange clothes. She was scratched up and unconscious. Raven carried her to the clearing, since Cassandra was carrying Gabriel. He laid her on the blanket while Cassandra soaked a cloth with water, which he laid on her head. Slowly the girl woke up.

"Ow! My head.", she cried out, sitting up.

"Oh good, you're awake. Don't strain yourself.", Cassandra said. "I'm Cassandra. Who are you?"

At first it seemed like she wanted to say something but she quickly closed her mouth again and her face took up an expression that slowly morphed into a look of fear and confusion, which was also recognizable in the way she spoke when she finally opened her mouth again.

"I don't know.", she answered.

"It seems rather strange, but I think you fell from the sky. You must have hit your head.", Raven remarked.

"You should try to sleep.", Cassandra added. "Have something to drink as well."

Cassandra gave her some water and helped the girl lie down again. She fell asleep quickly. Cassandra and Raven looked at the figure sleeping blissfully.

"Why don't we take her with us? Maybe someone we know can help. We can look if we can find her parents. In her state she is better off with us.", Cassandra spoke.

"We should.", Raven said. "The poor girl. I really hope we can help her."
