Chapter 1

It has been hectic for the last few months so far. Some of the students of East Highland have received some publicity over drama happening outside of school.

Even though some news got more recognition than others, East Highland was a high school that was rich in character. Each students had interesting story

regardless of its popularity. While relationships were falling apart and tensions were high, there were more stories to be told about the teens of East Highland.

One of those interesting teens was Darian. He at first looks like any regular highschooler who is just considered normal or mainstream in the high school

hierarchy. However, the story is actually more interesting. Darian is one of the kids who didn't have a particular clique. He was not a loner despite that

impression. He mostly hanged out with two groups, the stoners and the indie or hipster kids. He even on occasion hangs out with some of the slightly more

popular kids. Despite his connections with the various cliques, he always kept a low key profile. Darian was humble ambivert with the drive to make the big

bucks and to make it quick. One of his schemes was to become a peddler. During autumn of junior year, Darian was talking to Fezco about getting into the

drug dealing business. Walking up to Fezco near his store.

"Ey Fezco, How's it going." asked Darian. Fezco responded, "I'm doing good man. What you need?"

Determined to get into the drug business, Darian replied "Could we talk inside, I gotta ask you something important?"

Both of them walked inside the store.

"What shit do need to tell me that is so important?" asked Fezco.

Darian said "I'm interested in working in the drug business. Do you think I can work with

you?

Giving a cynical glance, Fezco began the interview. "Do you even know what type of business you're planning on getting into?"

Taking a moment to think

Darian knew the answer. "The big risk with big reward type of business."

"Yes, but do you know what you're risking to make the big bucks. Almost everything. Your clean record. The people you care for. And even your own life," Fezco said.

A moment of silence occurred.

"Look you're pretty chill, but I just don't think this is the type of business for you."

Darian now hesitant still was desperate for making money.

Darian told Fezco, "Aight, but still if you need an extra hand don't be afraid to ask me."

"Kay, I'll keep that in mind." Fezco replied.
