Class 1-B had been staying in the cafeteria the entire time since the outbreak. Monoma had been leading them. They were all infected immediately, they enjoyed themselves killing people for sport. Monoma felt like a King with kendo at his right hand and the rest of his class backing him up.
"Look who it is. Baby All Might and the loser squad. Came to steal our food? Don't think so."
They all jumped over the counter and got ready to fight. Up until this point our heroes had only been fighting defensively.
"Looks like they wanna fight Deku. You ready?" said Asui
"As ready as I can be," he said as he turned on full cowl.
"You're gonna die here Deku. I'm gonna write 'the death of U.A' on the side of the building with our finest student's blood." Monoma threatened.
Class 1-B rushed towards them with incredible speed and force.
"There's too many of them." Deku cried.
"WELL I DOUBT THEY GET IN LINE SO WE CAN PUMMEL THEIR ASSES, THIS ISN'T A FIGHT YOU SEE IN THE MOVIES." exploded Todoroki as he started burning the crowd around him. Deku was punching through waves of students. Asui attempted to use her tongue to get on top of a pipe to avoid them but Kendo knocked her down before she even got the chance. Kendo stood over Asui's body with a wide grin on her face.
"Look at you. You're pathetic. How could anyone as weak as you hope to be a hero?" she said menacingly.
Todoroki was being forced to get used to his fire side, the ice side wasn't doing enough damage on its own. He was combining them effectively and landing solid attacks. The fire kept them away and the ice surrounded him to make a barrier. Out of nowhere Monoma started throwing fireballs at Todoroki, he had copied his quirk, but then he added lightning to the fireballs.
"Like my new trick?" he taunted.
It seems that he could now copy any quirk he stole permanently. Meaning he had just become one of the most powerful people on the entire planet. Deku realized this as soon as he saw him use Kaminari's quirk.
"We have to work together Todoroki,let's focus on Monoma" he said.
Deku ran towards him at full speed and slammed him with a fully powered punch, Todoroki followed up with fire then sealing him in ice. This made Kendo angry. Very angry. She slammed the ground with her massive fists. They created a small earthquake.
"You hurt my boyfriend! You'll pay for this." She shouted. She kept slamming the ground and they all fell over. She let out a huge wailing cry. Todoroki reluctantly shot an icicle through her mouth. She choked on the blood and fell to the ground.
After they finished off the rest of the class they grabbed some food and headed to the staff room, there was a rumor that it had a panic room for these kinds of situations. While they were looking for the panic room button Deku looked at a photograph of the teacher standing together and smiling.
"I let them down somehow. I could have saved you guys. I'M SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO!" he said.
"You're no failure. Deku. " said Todoroki in a reassuring tone.
Deku punched the photo. The room began to hiss and clunk. It quickly descended into a basement. The fluorescent lights that lined the tunnel they were descending into began to began blinking on, they hadn't been turned on since they were installed. As they reached the bottom a light flickered on showing a hatch. They opened it and inside was a crate that had enough food to sustain thirty people for a week and an emergency phone.
"I guess we'll stay here until the week's over" Deku said.
The school had upgraded their security systems since the villain attacks. There were multiple precautions in case for this lockdown that prevented anyone getting in or out regardless of quirks. The system was going to turn off at the end of the week to let everyone leave.
"I don't want to have to kill to survive." Asui said. She had been scared of the entire situation, she just didn't want to tell anyone. The team reassured her that she'll be ok. Then they went to sleep.
