Deku woke up and was more hopeful. He ate and drank, he trained and then relaxed. He was trying to make it seem like a normal day. There was nothing normal about it at all.
"I just got a text from iIda. It says 'HELP', we have to go save him." said Asui.
"Lets go Todoroki." he motioned to the door.
"And risk dying? No thanks I'm kinda busy." Todoroki was still in bed.
"You don't want to help him?" asked Deku.
"iIda is a nice guy but i've come to love this corner of mine and personally I don't want to DIE." he said.
"We're not gonna die. Let's go. We'd save you if you were in his position." replied Deku. Todoroki got up reluctantly. "Let's go then."
They were in the hallway again. Hordes of infected students rushed towards them. Todoroki was able to wall off some and Deku could defeat some of the others. Asui was trying her best to defend herself. Eventually they got to the door of their old homeroom where Iida was.
"KNOCK KNOCK IIDA-KUN" mocked Todoroki.
The janitor of their school was standing over him.
"Oh if you've got company we can leave." he continued.
The janitor's quirk was the ability to create metal, he was standing over Iida with a trident he'd made and was taunting him.
"You run out of juice boy? You finally gave up runnin? Because I know someone who would be happy to know I killed you." hissed the Janitor.
Iida had been running on empty for days, he lacked the physical strength to contest most of the students infected by QuBo. All he could think of was his brother and how he let him down. How was he supposed to be a hero like him?
While they were talking Deku had been charging a full cowl smash. Deku hit the janitor so hard he flew straight into the wall. Blood leaked down from the crater he made. There was a moment of silence as he realised what he had just done.
"I k-killed…" Deku was struggling to get the words out. A hero is supposed to save people, he did save Iida but in the process he ended another life. Is this being a hero?
"I killed someone" he said after coming to the realisation of what he had done, he kept repeating those words until he was horrified with himself. Everyone else tried to calm him down.
"It's ok Midoriya, You saved me." Encouraged Iida.
Once they arrived at the staff room everyone went to bed. There were only two days left until the shutters opened and they could leave. Everyone was waiting in anticipation. There were rumors that high class heroes had been waiting outside to prevent infected students from escaping and infecting other people. One of them being Nekamaku. He was going to be the next number one hero since All Might died and Endeavour quit a few days before. Nekamaku had three quirks, Telekinesis, Mind control and Foresight, he seemingly came out of nowhere, people say he's from a foreign country where he quickly became the number one hero.
