Sarah POV
My eyes woke up and I regretted it. I felt my stomach turn, I jumped up and ran to the bathroom. When I got in there my everything hurt, what happened last night.
"Ugh." I moaned after the bile left my mouth. I heard the bed shifting and two warm hands held my hair back, while I threw up. I gasped, standing up to wash my face off, rinsing out my mouth. He didn't say anything, just kissed a tender spot on my shoulder. I hissed in pain looking in the mirror, seeing a dark purple bruise on my shoulder, and dried blood around it. "What the hell?" I whispered, touching it. He huffed and let go of my body.
"You don't remember anything do you?" He whispered. I lifted my eyebrow at him. He walked out of the bathroom, leaving me with a massive headache. I moaned putting my head against the cold mirror. I eventually moved from my spot into the bedroom, where he decided to open the blinds.
"UGH! Shut the blinds!" I hissed shielding my eyes. He ignored me and got ready. I didn't even realize I was naked, until I felt the cold. I hurried and found some clothes. "What happened last night? I feel like crap." I sighed, sitting on the bed with my pants on and a bra on. I was looking at him, but he didn't say anything. I huffed, looking at him. He walked towards the window and looked out.
"You don't think I looked for you." He stated.
"Look for me where?" I questioned, what was he talking about.
"When you were kidnapped." He stated, still looking out the window. I felt my face becoming red.
"Why do you think-"
"You said it last night. You said I wasn't trying to find you. Do you feel that way?" He demanded. I gulped, standing up. I didn't look at him.
"That's just how I felt. I felt like no one was going to find me." I said, shifting through our closet trying to find something to wear. He clenched his fist.
"You didn't tell me what Hunter did." I froze.
"Who?"
"You know who." He whispered. "Why didn't you say something to us."
"I didn't know how." I felt tears come to my eyes. "I felt embarrassed and I felt ashamed. I was scared." He looked over his shoulder at me. I looked in his eyes. "I feel distant, because I felt like I couldn't tell anyone anything. I shouldn't have been drinking last night. When I came home and saw you, was the last thing I remember. I don't know to handle this. It's been three years, and I feel like it's been yesterday." He turned around leaning against the wall, he still didn't have a shirt on, so I was staring.
"When we were at the party, when you were talking to Jacob, you said you wouldn't know how to act because you're not married, and you don't have a child. Do you want that?" He questioned. I was shocked.
"Of course." I mumbled, he smiled at me and raised his arm, beckoning for me to come in his embrace.
"Then you have to be honest with each other. I've been waiting for you to say this. I wanted you to be ready." He said kissing me. I kissed him, feeling guilty.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled. He pulled back and looked at me.
"What about Sarah? You don't have to apologize about anything." I shook my head.
"For not trusting you more. I'm sorry." He chuckled and kissed my hair.
"Sorry, I didn't listen to you sooner." He mumbled. I snuggled closer to him. He touched my shoulder, softly. I tried not to hiss in pain. "I bit you last night."
"What why?!" I demanded. He laughed a little.
"Because we were having sex and we both let out animal side come out." I felt a blush appear on my face.
"No wonder I'm extremely sore." I winced. He kissed me again. He stopped when we both heard a knock on the door. I tensed up and ran to grab a shirt out of the closet and went down the stairs, Caleb right behind me. He chuckled when we got to the bottom, I smelled them. "What are you doing here?" I demanded through the door.
"I'm here to check on my daughter." Dad said waiting for me to open the door. When I opened it, I found my mother and dad, both had worried faces.
"Come on in." I smiled. My mom flew her arms around me and squeezed me. I felt my stomach become uneasy.
"Mom, enough. I'm going to be sick." I moaned. She huffed and let me go.
"I hope you learned your lesson Sarah." She demanded, glaring at me. I rolled my eyes.
"I told dad last night I'm not a child anymore." They both huffed and looked at Caleb.
"Don't tell me that you let my daughter get drunk all the time." Dad was glaring at Caleb. I rolled my eyes, but they ignored me.
"Well, last night was the first time she was drunk." He said looking at me. I glared at him.
"Shut up." I mumbled. He ruffled my hair smiling at me.
"I think she learned her lesson." Caleb said as he pulled me in a hug. I went into the kitchen, looking for something to eat.
"You guys eat already?" I questioned. My dad sat down at the table and huffed at me. Mom came and grabbed the eggs out of my hands and sat them back in the fridge. "What are you doing?" I questioned while she did so. She grabbed my shoulders and guided me to the table. I was across from my dad. "What is going on." I demanded, I looked at Caleb, but he was just as lost as I was.
"Tell me what happened when you were kidnapped." My dad said in a serious tone. I felt my cheeks flush.
"You don't have to do this." I was about get up, but my mom grabbed my arm and kept me there.
"Open up to us Sarah." She pleaded, she sat down next to dad and Caleb sat next to me. I looked uneasy at my family and sighed.
"No phasing or anything, you can't be mad at dead people." I stated, my dad's eyes soften, and he laughed a little.
"No promises." He stated.
"When Caleb came and picked me up and we stayed at his house, he was called to go." I looked at Caleb, he looked at me with hurt behind his hazel eyes. I sighed and decided to go ahead. "I was at the house, by myself and I heard this howl that was identical to his. I dashed out of the door, not thinking straight. When I am running towards the direction, Grace came out of the woods and stopped me. I heard his howl again and decided to run the opposite way trying to find him. When I ran out of to the clearing there were four vampires standing there, waiting for me. I was knocked out and woke up with everyone one else. I was beaten up but nothing I didn't survive from." I looked at my father who had a calm face on, my mom grabbed my hand and gave me a squeeze, letting me know I was doing a good job. "When they decided to start moving again, we weren't allowed to sleep or eat, I was tired." I looked down at the table, tears were coming to my eyes. "I had fallen on our walk, and he picked me up. They told him to hurry up, but he stayed back with me." The embarrassment of that day washed over me and I started to shake. I hugged my body and had my head down. "He ripped my shirt and-and."
"Sarah w-" Everything was becoming a distant murmur. I closed my eyes, when I opened them, I was standing in front of him. His laughing voice, bringing tears to my eyes. I looked down and saw my ripped shirt and body exposed.
"No." I whispered. Hunter had the cocky smirk on him. He pushed me against the tree.
"I'm glad I still scare you. I'm making you mine this time." He hissed, his hand grabbed my shoulder and squeezing it, making me scream. I closed my eyes and punched him in the face with my free hand, when I opened my eyes, Caleb was holding his face. My parents were staring at me, Caleb wiped the blood off his lip.
"Danm Sarah, what is up with you always hitting me." Caleb looked at me, I threw my arms around Caleb and started to cry. He was frozen for a second, but he wrapped his arms around me. Caleb lifted me up and carried me to the table, letting me sit in his lap. I hid my face in his shoulder, trying to calm down. "Maybe Edward could tell you what happened." Caleb said, hugging me. I heard someone crying, when I looked up, I saw mom, tears going down her face. I felt guilty.
"I'm so sorry Sarah." She mumbled, grabbing me out of Caleb's arms. I hugged her nestling in her hug. Before I could say anything, dad came and ripped me away from my mother, I was going to say something, but there were tears in his eyes. I stared at him, there wasn't even a handful of times when I saw my dad cry. He hugged me and started to cry, making me cry.
"Daddy. I'm sorry. I wished I was stronger." I whispered. He didn't say anything, just crying and holding me. I wrapped my arms around him, nestling my head in his arms.
