The Deagle is a character from Big Finish's Tenth Doctor Chronicles audio story 'Last Chance'.

The phone in the Console Room was ringing, but there was nobody in there to answer it, so it kept ringing. It wouldn't be long until it switched to Voicemail. There was the sound of hurried footsteps from the nearby corridor, then Jenny burst into the room.

She quickly hurried over to the Console and answered the ringing phone. "Hello, you've called the TARDIS, how may we help?" She spoke, grinning a little. It was well known that when the TARDIS phone rang it was very likely somebody requesting help.

"Hello, Jenny," a somewhat familiar multi-accented voice spoke up on the other end. "How are you?"

Jenny knew who it was. It was The Dynacracker, somehow calling from another Universe. "I'm okay." The young Time Lady replied. She'd last seen Dyna weeks ago in her dreams when the Dream Lord Psy forced them all into sleep so she could mess with her sister. When she had spoken to her dad and Rose about this, it turned out she had helped them all wake up. "But that's not why you called, is it?" She counter-questioned, a strange feeling coming to her. It wasn't every day you received a call from another Universe.

"And you'd be right," Dyna replied. "She's having issues isn't she?" Jenny sucked in a breath when she mentioned her sister. "Don't worry, I can help her."

She puzzled over Dyna's words. "Yeah, yeah. She is," Jenny muttered. "How? Are you sure?" Because no matter how many times Jaime was in the Medbay over headache complaints they never found anything wrong.

"I've done it before," Dyna answered. "And only I can fix it." Jenny rolled her eyes over the ego trip. "I'm going to give you some co-ordinates now," Dyna continued. "And a Code Name to get you past the Transduction Barrier."

This caught Jenny's attention and she stood up straight, eyes wide. "Transduction Barrier?" She knew what that meant, after all, her dad had mentioned it when he'd told her about his home planet. "You mean we are going to…"

"Gallifrey?" Dyna finished and it sounded like she was grinning. "Of course. It's not every day you get to visit a planet like this."

Jenny was grinning now as well and she was practically shuffling with excitement. "What are the Co-ordinates?" She asked and listened as Dyna reeled off the Co-ordinates for Gallifrey's location. She wrote it down in her head and kept it safe. She also noted that they were different to the location Gallifrey should have been in. "And what's the Code Name?" Jenny asked next.

"TTC designated 'Alternate Old Blue Girl'," Dyna told her. "That's what you need to tell Gallifrey Central Command when you arrive. A Time Bridge has been opened up for 72 Gallifreyan hours, so I'll see you all soon." The call ended and Jenny put the phone down, stared at it for several seconds before quickly hurrying back to the Medbay.

When she entered it she saw that her dad was still currently going through her sister's Mind via telepathy. She was lying on the bed with her eyes closed while Alexia sat next to her on the edge of the bed, holding Jaime's right hand. John was pacing back and forth, agitated and muttering things. Rose was doing her best to calm him. Jenny could see and feel that they were worried.

They all were worried. It wasn't just the headaches that were bothering her, or the mood swings and snapping at everyone. It was like bouts of Intermittent Explosive Disorder but only ten times worse than it normally was. And whenever they got into several sticky situations, Jaime would only make the situation worse by losing her temper and throwing fire at everything.

When they'd get back to the TARDIS she'd avoid questioning by complaining about headaches or not remembering much of what happened. So now here was her sister, back in the Medbay for the umpteenth time, getting her head checked mentally. Jenny saw The Doctor shake his head.

"Rassilon! It's a mess in here." He muttered.

J.D stopped pacing and Alexia looked up at the Time Lord with a frown. "Doctor? What is it?" She asked him.

"Yeah, Spaceman, don't leave us hanging." John spoke up. "What's wrong with Jaime?" He even sounded agitated and considering he was the most worried about Jaime he had a right to be agitated. Not to mention he could feel her pain through their TARDIS-like connection as well as their relationship connection.

For a while The Doctor didn't reply, but he suddenly flinched and winced, Jaime also flinching and letting out a little whimper of pain. "Sorry." The Doctor apologised shortly after, before pulling out of Jaime's Mind. He was frowning and Rose could see that he was thinking deeply.

"Penny for your thoughts, Doctor?" She asked as Jaime opened her eyes and rubbed her head with a grimace, her face paler than normal.

She sat up and Alexia put an arm around her in a one armed hug. She really didn't like the look on his face. It was the 'I'm so sorry' expression he'd don before giving out bad news.

"Well the good news is I've figured out why you're getting so many headaches," The Doctor finally spoke up. "The bad news is it seems the Cryo-Pyro protective wall is cracked and weakened by several small holes."

Jaime's dark eyes were wide at the news. That was really not what she wanted to hear. She didn't want to fall back into that horrible time of being the Fire-Bird. She didn't want her dark side embracing her once again.

"What? How the hell did that happen?" John blurted out. He knew it was a stupid question. It had happened when he hadn't been around to protect her.

"Can you fix it?" Alexia queried. "Before it gets any worse?"

The Doctor shook his head sadly. "I can't. It wasn't me that put it there and because of how hot Cryo-Pyro freezes I can't touch it."

J.D groaned and shook his head, pacing once again. "Well isn't that just Wizard!" He uttered angrily.

Alexia frowned, puzzling over The Doctor's words. Freezing fire? She never knew that was even a thing! "If it wasn't you, then who was it?" She asked The Doctor, feeling her daughter beginning to shake out of fear. She was clearly upset. In fact she noticed everyone else looked a tad upset as well.

"It was Dyna," Jaime spoke up. "She was the one that helped suppress the Fire-Bird last time and brought me back to the TARDIS."

Alexia nodded, having vague memories of a female with ginger hair and Mackem accent flying The Doctor's TARDIS. She had yet to meet the other version that called herself The Dynacracker.

"Except she's in another Universe," The Doctor added, watching as J.D sat down on Jaime's other side and put a protective arm around her waist. "And the walls are closed off, so there's very little chance of being able to get in touch with her again."

That's when Jenny spoke up. "Actually, I have some news." She said, moving closer to everyone else.

The Doctor looked up at her with a smile. "Oh, Jenny. Who was it who called?" He asked.

Jenny grinned in return. "It was The Dynacracker." She replied and everyone was looking at her, stunned.

"Jenny!" The Doctor warned her, not keen on her apparent cheek.

"No, really. It really was Dyna," Jenny defended. "She knew there was something wrong with Jaime even before you diagnosed it."

There was silence between everyone for a minute, then the Time Lord sighed. Of course Dyna knew, she'd helped wake him and everyone else up from their Dream Lord induced sleep. And she was a Guardian of the Multi-Verse after all. "Okay, fine. What did she say? When is she coming?" He asked.

Jenny's grin widened and she giggled. Rose, J.D and Alexia gave her an odd look. Jaime caught onto her sister's thoughts and smirked. The Doctor just narrowed his eyes. "She isn't coming to us, we are going to her. She gave us Co-ordinates and a Code Name to get past the Transduction Barrier."

The atmosphere in the Medbay changed instantly.

"No way!" John uttered, his eyes wide in surprise. "You're kidding me, right?"

Jenny shook her head. The Doctor stayed silent, his eyes just as wide.

"Transduction Barrier?" Rose understood when she looked from J.D to The Doctor, at their reactions. "You mean Gallifrey, don't you?" She asked Jenny. "That's where we're going?"

This time the young Time Lady nodded her head.

Sensing some serious tension from The Doctor, Rose moved towards him and took a hold of his hand in a bid to comfort him. "Doctor?" She asked.

The Doctor snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Rose with a thankful smile. "Right…" He sucked in a breath and looked over at Jenny. "What are the Co-ordinates?" He requested and Jenny reeled off the numbers. "And the Code Name?" He then asked.

"She said it was designated as 'TTC Alternate Old Blue Girl' and that gets us permission to enter via Central Command."

The next question came from Rose. "How are we gonna get there? It's in another Universe."

"She said that a Time Bridge was open between our two Universes." Jenny answered her. "But it would only remain open for 72 Gallifreyan hours."

The Doctor raised his brows, surprised. "Only 72 hours? Then we really need to get there as soon as possible."

John nodded in agreement as The Doctor and Rose started moving towards the doorway.

"Why the hurry?" A confused Alexia questioned. "72 hours is plenty of time."

Beside her, Jaime snorted and J.D shook his head. "It really isn't," The Half-Time Lord replied, shifting off the bed and taking Jaime with him. "72 Gallifreyan hours is 24 Earth hours."

Surprise washed off Alexia. "Oh." She said and stood up. "Wow!" Another thought came to her for another problem. "Wait, Doctor!" She shouted and he stopped, almost out of the door with Rose. "What are you going to do about Amy?" She asked.

Everyone else looked at each other, realising that was a really good question. What were they going to do about Amy, who hadn't been herself for some time.

"I don't understand. You want to send us on another honeymoon?" Amy questioned The Doctor. "What for?" She and Rory had been chilling out in the Media room when they'd been called to the Console Room. Something had been going on with Jaime that no-one could figure out, and the next thing she knew, The Doctor wanted to send herself and her husband to Space Florida.

"Well, maybe because the last one went awry," The Doctor replied. "But we never did manage to make it to Florida." He looked a tad sheepish at this as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Narrowing her eyes suspiciously, Amy looked around at everyone in the Console Room. "Why now?" She continued to question. "And what about you? What will you be doing?" She really needed to know because her curiosity was getting the better of her.

It looked like nobody was going to answer her until J.D spoke up. "We need to go somewhere else in order to get help for Jaime," he said, his arm around Jaime's waist as she snuggled close to him. "And where we're going they don't normally allow humans."

Amy really wanted to believe that, if it wasn't for Alexia. She was human and she was apparently going to this place humans weren't allowed. "What about Alexia?" She asked, not noticing the woman bristle with anger. "She's human…"

"Excuse me! My daughter needs me. And I'm sure when the time comes your daughter will need you too!" Alexia snapped at the ginger. She didn't mean to sound so hostile towards Amy, they just couldn't risk her being on Gallifrey and end up letting The Doctor's enemies know where they were.

"Uhh, okay." Amy muttered, feeling puzzled over Alexia's reaction.

Things were tense in the Console Room until Rory spoke up. "Thanks, Doctor. It was really thoughtful," he said, taking a hold of Amy's hand. "How long will you be gone for?" He questioned shortly after.

"24 hours, maybe more," J.D replied. "That gives you plenty of time to enjoy your holiday."

The TARDIS landed with a thud and two overnight bags materialised by the door. Amy sighed at the situation, still confused. She wanted to go where The Doctor were going, but since that wasn't allowed she would just have to with Rory to Space Florida instead. "Okay, thank you." She finally relented. "I suppose it'll be nice to get away. We'll see you soon then." She and Rory turned towards the door, picked up their bags and exited the TARDIS.

The Doctor watched all this with a grim expression before sending the TARDIS into the Vortex. "I really didn't like doing that," he muttered unhappily. "We need to find the real Amy before it's too late. But I still haven't figured out how she was cloned."

Jenny, Jaime and Alexia all felt guilty or shifted nervously on their feel. They couldn't tell him anything yet as it wasn't the right moment.

"Right," The Time Lord brightened up a moment later. "Time to allons-y…" He typed in the co-ordinates before turning to everyone else. "The last time the TARDIS fell into another Universe She almost died. I don't know how bad the turbulence is going to be so I need all the help I can get. Rose…" He pointed to a section of the Console beside him and Rose stepped up to it. "…Jenny…" He pointed to his right and Jenny moved around to that section. J.D and Jaime moved to their directed sections, ready to co-pilot.

"And me?" Alexia queried. She didn't want to feel completely useless by not doing anything. But to her surprise her daughter shook her head.

"It's goin' tae be really hairy. Jus' sit down in case ye get injured." Jaime ordered.

Nodding meekly, Alexia sat down on the jumpseat and watched.

The Doctor placed his hand on a lever and looked around at his fellow pilots. "Ready?" He asked them and they nodded in anticipation. "Allons-y!" He uttered with a grin and pulled the lever.

The TARDIS instantly changed direction and raced through the Vortex to their next destination. From her place on the jumpseat, Alexia watched them expertly pilot the Time Machine. So far the flight through the Vortex was steady but she really didn't know how long that would last.

"That button there…" The Doctor pointed to specific area on Rose's Console section and she pressed it down. Meanwhile Jaime was pumping the Helmic Regulator. "Almost there…" The Doctor stated.

Two minutes and seventeen seconds later and the TARDIS jerked roughly as she entered the Time Bridge.

Yelping out a cry of surprise, Alexia held onto the back of the jumpseat when she nearly fell off it. She thought it was going to be the normal roughness, but this felt much worse. The turbulence literally rattled the TARDIS and now it was giving her vague memories of familiarity.

"Keep her steady!" The Doctor was heard to shout. "Stabilise the flight."

Feeling like she was about to panic, Alexia closed her eyes and took in several deep breaths. Why did it feel like the whole TARDIS was going to break up?

Soon enough the flight got a little less shaky as they neared the end of the Time Bridge. Several seconds later their flight came to an abrupt halt with a clang and everyone, apart from Rose who was quickly caught by The Doctor, went tumbling to the grating.

"For the love of Sanity!" Alexia cried out before using the jumpseat to pull herself up.

"Blimey! What did we just hit?" Jenny asked, quickly gaining her feet.

"That'll be the Transduction Barrier," The Doctor replied, helping Rose to her feet, before scrambling to get a look at where they were on the Monitor. "It's a bit more durable than I remember."

Rose noticed him frowning and could feel bouts of confusion from him. "Something wrong?" She asked as she joined him by the monitor.

"No…well, maybe. This doesn't look right," he looked over at Jenny. "Are you sure you were given the right co-ordinates?" He asked the young Time Lady.

Jenny nodded her head. "Yeah, she told me and then I passed them onto you." She replied. "Why?"

The Doctor, still frowning, turned his attention back to the monitor. "Because it doesn't look like Gallifrey. It's the wrong colour for starters…"

Feeling his disappointment, Rose peered at the monitor, but found it hard to see what was on it. She wanted to see what this planet looked like and it appeared Jenny had the same idea. She watched as the younger female hurried over to the door and opened it.

"Wow, what a view!" Jenny cried out.

Exchanging glances, Rose and The Doctor decided to join her. In the darkness of space was a huge green planet with what looked like brown seas. They also could see a forcefield protecting the planet.

"Hold on!" Muttered The Doctor, putting his glasses on before peering closely at the planet. "Now that's interesting…" A grin appeared on Rose's face when she saw his 'figuring out a puzzle' expression. They must have found the right planet.

"Dad?" Jenny queried her father, still getting to know his weird little quirks.

"It's a disguise," The Doctor answered. "A very clever disguise. They must have built a Holographic Shell into the Transduction Barrier."

"So this is Gallifrey?" Rose asked him, putting and arm around his waist.

"Yep!" The Doctor popped the 'p'.

Jenny stared down at the planet. She couldn't wait to get down there.

Meanwhile, Jaime was the last one yet to make it back to her feet. The journey through the Time tunnel had been far too rocky for her head to handle and now she sat on the grating with her eyes closed, rubbing the sides of her head and muttering angrily under her breath. Her headache had spiked painfully and she felt like she was losing control.

"Jaime?" J.D spoke to her with a look of concern. He could feel her pain and turmoil through their connections. "Can I help you?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. She didn't answer him, eyes still closed and continuing to mutter angrily. "Just hold on," he told Jaime. "We're almost there." In an attempt to ease her pain, J.D put his other hand on her left temple.

Only he didn't expect such a violent reaction from her. Angry dark eyes opening quickly, Jaime snarled loudly and in a flash John found himself pinned to the grating. He attempted to struggle out of her grip but he was no match for her Super-strength.

Suddenly her Pyro was ignited, almost burning him, but it also worried John when he saw it was a very dark red to the point it looked almost black. "Stop it, Jaime, just stop!" He uttered, continuing to struggle with her.

In reply, the Scots-girl let out a Roar and attempted to punch the Half-Time Lord with a fiery hand.

"JAIME!" A wide-eyed Alexia cried out, watching, yet she had no idea what to do. She didn't want to get burned.

The ruckus brought The Doctor, Jenny and Rose away from the door, wondering what was going on. The Doctor saw that his brother was having trouble with Jaime and could sense wild anger from her. "Hold on!" He called, pulled out his Sonic Screwdriver and aimed it at her head with a whirr.

Jaime went limp in J.D's arms as her fire fizzled out and he was able to sit up whilst holding onto her.

"What did you do to her?" A frantic Alexia asked as she crouched next to her daughter. She hadn't seen The Doctor use his Screwdriver that way before, which made her believe Jaime's condition was even worse.

"Don't worry, she's just sleeping," he told the woman. "What happened?" He now asked, looking over his frazzled brother for any injuries.

"The journey through the Time Bridge must have rattled something loose," John answered, caressing Jaime's pale face. "She was hurting so much." Noticing how sad he looked, Alexia reached over and hugged the Half-Time Lord.

There was a tense silence around the Console Room, until a beeping noise came from the Console. "What's that?" Rose asked.

"It's a communication," The Doctor replied, moving around the Console and pressing a button.

"This is Central Command calling unknown vehicle," a voice spoke up but all Rose and Alexia heard was musical language. "State your identity or you'll be forced to leave the vicinity."

The Doctor gulped at the threat of force being used. It seemed this version of Gallifrey took their security serious since the Time War.

Remembering what Jenny told him, The Doctor flicked a switch on the intercom and spoke in reply. "This is TTC designated 'Alternative Old Blue Girl' calling Gallifrey Central Command, requesting permission to land." He too spoke in his home language which Rose thought sounded beautiful coming out of The Doctor's mouth.

There was silence from Central Command which worried the Time Lord that they might not get onto the planet. But then he breathed a sigh of relief when Central Command came back with a positive reply. "This is Central Command, permission accepted. You can park your TARDIS in parking bay nine. Welcome home, Doctor."

"Thanks!" The Doctor muttered with an awkward smile on his face as he pulled the lever in order to land on Gallifrey.

Jexie, otherwise known by her Chosen name of The Nightingale, paced nervously in tne parking bay of the Panopticon, waiting for their special guests to arrive. She had steel grey eyes and dark red almost maroon coloured hair, tied up in a loose bun. She looked to be in her late twenties but she was likely to be a lot older than that. This young red headed Time Lady had been put on welcoming duty after The Dynacracker was suddenly called to a meeting with the President in the Panopticon. Apparently she wanted to meet the guests as well.

Despite the nerves, Jexie felt extremely excited about meeting The Doctor. In fact it was always an event when The Doctor came home, any version of him, whether from his past or from his future, and he always had a good story or two to tell. The only thing is, this Doctor was different.

According to stories from Dyna, this one came from a Parallel Universe. He had a twin born from a Metacrisis event, was mated with his Universe's Rose Tyler, had a human-ish adopted daughter and another from a machine similar to that of a Loom, and travelled with three human companions. The Gallifrey in his Universe was still lost.

And odd wheezing/groaning sound caught her attention and The Nightingale watched as the familiar but weird looking Police Box began to materialise in Parking Bay Nine. There was a thumping noise as the Time Machine fully materialised and landed, which was followed by the door squeaking open.

Out stepped a man with wild brown hair and wide brown eyes full of curiosity. He wore a blue suit that appeared to have pinstripes on it. And over that he wore a long overcoat that flowed around him. On his feet were red coloured footwear that Dyna tended to call 'Converse'.

"Doctor?" She asked a tad excitedly.

He looked at her, a grin appearing on his face. "Yep, that's me!" He replied, stepping further away from the TARDIS.

He was followed out by a blonde girl wearing her hair tied back. She wore a pale yellow 'polar' neck top with black coloured leg wear. The next to step out was the Bad Wolf herself. She too was blonde and wore an overcoat with trainers and what were known as 'jeans' to humans. Another woman with loose shoulder length brown hair stepped out next. She wore a top with a hood and a 'joey pocket' with a pair of leggings and trainers. And the last to step out was The Doctor's Metacrisis. He looked exactly like The Doctor, but younger looking. His brown spiky hair was styled in what humans called a 'mohawk'. He too wore an overcoat but it was shorter than The Doctor's. He wore a top, what appeared to be the top half of the same blue pinstriped suit and a pair of ill-fitting jeans. He too was wearing Converse. In his arms he was carrying a Raven haired, pale faced female. She wore a long sleeved shirt, jean jacket and short trousers. On her feet were a pair of well worn trainers.

Jexie could sense that the man was worried about the female in his arms.

"Hello," The Doctor greeted her. "Who are you then?" He asked.

Jexie smiled in return. "I'm Nightingale, but friends call me Jexie." She replied before taking a quick glance at the Metacrisis. "What do I call your Metacrisis?" She asked the Time Lord, not noticing his duplicate wince. "You don't go by the same name do you? Because that would be very complicated."

"I prefer Hybrid, not Metacrisis," the duplicate answered her and she noticed straight away the difference in his accent to The Doctor's. "I'm John-David, but friends call me J.D…or Doctor Smith."

Jexie nodded thoughtfully, respecting his request.

"I'm Alexia, Jaime's mum." Alexia introduced herself.

"I'm Jenny." Jenny introduced.

"And I'm Rose." Rose introduced last.

"Where's Dyna?" Doctor Smith asked. "I thought she would have at least met us."

Nightingale smiled grimly. "She was. But she got called to the President," she noticed various expressions of grim worry on both men's faces. "She would like to meet you all."

Only The Doctor perked up. "She?" He questioned with a big grin. "Has she become President again?" Jexie was confused by his question.

"Who?" She asked.

"Romana of course!" Came the answer.

"What happened to Rassilon?" Doctor Smith asked.

The Time Lady smirked. "Follow me." She requested before turning towards the Panopticon and approaching its open door.

As they followed the young Time Lady into the official looking futuristic building, Alexia looked around in wide-eyed awe. She couldn't quite believe that, she, Alexia MacInarah, had actually set foot on Gallifrey. It was a real planet with real actual Time Lords. Speaking of Time Lords…

When they began walking through the lobby of the building there were quite a few male and female Time Lords hanging about and chatting. Some of them were wearing grey caps on their heads, like the ones that were worn in 'The Deadly Assassin'. But the people wearing the caps wore capes over their street clothes in the same colour. What were different about these people and the rest who wore their robes? So she queried this to the Half-Time Lord. "Why are they wearing cloaks?" She asked him.

J.D peered over at where Alexia was looking. "That's usually what Gallifreyans wear," he answered the woman. "But because we're in an entirely different Universe that may be different." He noticed the clothes some of them were wearing looked a tad Earth-like. Maybe it was possible that there was some sort of trade going on between the two planets. But that seemed highly unlikely.

As he shifted Jaime in his arms he heard one of the cloaked people speak to a Time Lady in a Birmingham accent. Beside him, Alexia laughed at the fella's accent. She'd come so far, only to find somebody from the British Midlands on Gallifrey. And she knew it wasn't the TARDIS' doing because her Watch blocked the Time Machine's telepathic translators.

Jenny and Rose noticed none of this. They were both currently admiring the interior decoration of the building, The Doctor giving them a history lesson.

Curious, J.D needed to know what was happening. "Hey, Nightingale," he called, moving closer to the Time Lady. "Are there humans here?" He asked her.

Jexie looked up at him with a smile. "Yes. There's a Colony full of them here on Gallifrey. There's some that live elsewhere on the planet and they work here in the Citadel, but because their Minds are so loud they have to wear protective headwear."

That was a surprise to J.D and Alexia. Humans were now living on Gallifrey and allowed to work with Gallifreyans and Time Lords.

"This way." Jexie said, walking through the doorway into the Main Assembly Hall of the Panopticon. There were also a handful of Time Lords in here too, all chatting away or waiting for something.

"Oh my god!" Alexia uttered loudly, causing her fellow travellers to stop and stare in disbelief.

Stood close to the raised platform and chatting with the President was The Dynacracker. She was wearing the red and gold robes of the Prydon Chapter. But that wasn't what had the travellers looking stunned.

"Doctor, that's…" Rose began but shook her head, stunned.

The President of Gallifrey wasn't the usual Time Lord or Lady, but appeared to be this Universe's Rose Tyler, her hair a darker shade of blonde it looked brown. She was wearing the full Presidential Regalia and she had a glowing aura about her. Sat at her feet was a blue and grey furred Wolf. It's eyes were the colour of deep amber.

"That's a Dashuan Mountain Wolf!" The Doctor stated in amazement.

Having heard his voice, the Presidential Rose looked over at him and his fellow travellers. "Looks like your guests have arrived." She said to Dyna and the ginger Time Lady Hybrid looked over at them with a grin. But her expression soon changed into a frown when she saw Jaime in J.D's arms.

"Hello, Doctor Smith. Good to see you again." Other Rose said to the Half-Time Lord as Dyna approached him, Jaime and Alexia.

The Doctor raised surprised brows and looked over at his brother. "You've met her before?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think so." He replied but didn't sound so sure. "How did we meet?" He asked.

The Presidential Rose chuckled. "We met when I was jumping the Dimensions looking for The Doctor, and when you and Jaime were looking for Dyna in order to rescue Jaime's mum. You are looking well Ms MacInarah."

Alexia blushed and just nodded her thanks.

The memory of meeting this Rose flooded J.D's Mind. It had been when they all met the elderly actor who had looked like his Fourth incarnation. "Yes, I remember now," John muttered. "But how do you remember? I thought Jaime altered your memory of us meeting you?"

Presidential Rose nodded. "She did. But I'm The Bad Wolf. All hidden memories were unlocked."

John rolled his eyes. Of course, that totally made sense! Especially with the way that Aura shone around her.

"What happened?" Dyna asked, using her Sonic Glove to scan Jaime.

"I think the trip through might have rattled her," J.D replied. "The pain got so overbearing she lost control."

A grim expression appeared on Dyna's face. Even Presidential Rose looked overly worried. "You best do what you've gotta do then." She said to the Hybrid Time Lady.

"Yes," Dyna nodded. "Thank you, Lady Arkytior." She turned her attention back to John, Jaime and Alexia. "Come with me." She told them and they hurried out of the Assembly Hall.

That just left The Doctor, Rose, Jenny and Jexie with Presidential Rose. "What are you doing here?" The Doctor asked her. "How are you President of Gallifrey, of all things!?" He tried to approach the Other Rose, but found himself being pulled back by his Rose. He was puzzled to sense that she was jealous. Jealous of her parallel self? It sounded ridiculous, but it was true. And judging by the giggling from Presidential Rose she had sensed the same thing.

"Don't worry, Rose. I've no interest in your Doctor." She told her parallel self before stepping down from the stage and approaching the three Time Travellers herself. The Dashuan Wolf got up and followed his mistress. "I've had my time with my Half Human Doctor," she explained. "We got married, travelled the Universe, had kids. But he grew old and died. We out-aged everyone in Pete's World really…"

Rose gasped sadly, feeling sorry for her parallel self, though she knew she would out-age her parents and brother she would be lucky enough not to out-age The Doctor.

"…So we packed up and decided to move Universes with the help of Dyna and this Universe's Doctor."

Listening intently, The Doctor noticed Presidential Rose wasn't just talking about herself. "Who's we?" He asked and grinned when this Rose donned her Tyler smile.

His Rose rolled her eyes.

"My children of course," Presidential Rose told him. "James and Lizzy may have been born as Half Time Lords but they both have the Bad Wolf gene."

Rose raised a surprised brow. She had never heard Bad Wolf referred to as a 'gene' before. She put it down to differences in Universes.

"Lizzy's over in the human Colony helping out and James is somewhere in the Citadel. To be honest I think he has a crush on Dyna."

Nodding his head as he listened, The Doctor had heard Nightingale and John talking about humans working in the Citadel. But there were now human Colonies on Gallifrey? It seemed this lot had dragged themselves out of the dark ages. "How did you become President of Gallifrey then?" The Doctor once again questioned her.

"That was this Universe's Doctor's idea. Last time she was here she left on bad terms," Presidential Rose rolled her eyes. "As usual. And because her Twelfth incarnation had expelled Rassilon and the Council from Gallifrey…"

Rose felt a bout of shocked surprise from her Doctor and when she looked at him saw a look of shock on his face. She knew that Rassilon was a big deal to the Time Lords and the Other Doctor somehow made him leave the planet. That was huge!

"…he'd been placed as interim President and they needed a full-time President on the planet. When she presented me to the other Time Lords they were happy enough for me to be President. I think it was my glowing personality." She grinned like a Cheshire Cat at her own joke and the Doctor actually chuckled at it.

Before he could persist in further questioning her parallel self, Rose interrupted her Time Lord in order to ask the President her own question. "What about this Universe's Doctor? Didn't you want to travel with her?"

A quick look of sad pain passed over parallel Rose's face before it was replaced with a stern looking smile. "My relationship with The Doctor ended long ago on that beach in Norway," she replied coldly and The Doctor shifted guiltily on his feet. "But I also didn't want to get in-between her and Yasmin." Other Rose added in a much warmer way. "Yasmin, Ryan and Graham…" She answered before she could be questioned. "They're her companions and they're very down to Earth. They're from Sheffield." Rose and The Doctor nodded their heads in understanding.

"Aren't you a beautiful boy!" They all heard Jenny coo and looked down to watch her petting the blue and grey furred Wolf. He had rolled onto his back with his paws in the air.

"He likes you," Presidential Rose stated. "Of course, you're not the only Jenny to go gaga over him."

Rose remembered that the Jenny of this universe was found on a planet by the Twelfth incarnation of the Doctor and Delta.

"How'd you come across a Dashuan Mountain Wolf?" The Doctor asked. "Last I heard they had been hunted to extinction."

His Rose made a cry of displeasure and crouched down to pet the Wolf. He looked at her and let out a confused sounding bark. She looked like his mistress, but she didn't smell like his mistress.

"That seems to be the case in this universe as well," Other Rose said. "There was this criminal travelling around on a ship using stolen Time Travel technology calling himself The Deagle. He would go around catching animals who were nearing extinction and keep them in status until he got bored of them and killed them after awhile," she explained. "He'd been getting away with it for a long time. That's until me, The Doctor and Dyna turned up. And that's where I found Kodiak. Or rather he found me. He was just a pup and he hasn't left my side since."

Rose smiled at the story while Presidential Rose grinned down at her pet Wolf.

"That's interesting," The Doctor had never come across anyone calling himself The Deagle before in his Universe. "What happened to him and the other animals?" He asked.

"Met an unfortunate end via one of his collection and the rest of the animals were taken to an animal sanctuary planet. Last I heard they were thriving." Other Rose answered The Doctor's question and then put her hand up to stop him asking more questions.

"No more questions, Doctor. I've got work to do and I'm sure you would like to show your bond-mate and daughter the sights and sounds of Gallifrey. Nightingale will be your tour guide."

Looking around, The Doctor hadn't noticed that the young Time Lady had stuck around. "Where would you like to go?" Nightingale asked.

With The Doctor thoroughly distracted, Presidential Rose turned and walked away. "Kodi!" She called and Kodiak the Dashuan Mountain Wolf bounded after her.

The Time Travellers watched her go, then The Doctor turned to Jexie. "Can you take us to the Human Colony?" He requested.
