Traveling around the city with the boy they were following. Wes and his group soon came to a rather dark area with a building that had a large satellite on top of it. The boy stopped in front of the building and turned around to face Wes, Rui, and their Pokemon.

"Welcome to our base." He said. "If you guys could wait out here for a moment. I need to let the others know that you guys are here."

Wes and Rui both nodded their heads and the boy went inside. Wes and Rui could hear muffled voices but they suddenly got louder and they could hear shouts of enthusiasm. The boy from before opened the door and made a motion with his hand telling them to come on in.

Wes and his group walked inside and saw a young girl with black hair wearing a white dress. She had was holding a Shroomish in her arms as she looked at Wes and Rui with awe. To her left was a young boy with blonde hair wearing a white button up shirt and tan pants. He also looked in amazement at the two adults. They had been told of their heroic feats and their brutal battle against Miror B.

"Bitt tells us you guys are Wes and Rui." The blonde haired boy said. "My names Nett and the girl over there is my little sister Megg."

Wes and Rui turned to the girl who smiled sweetly and bowed respectfully.

"I take it you have the 'Power Part' I asked for?" Nett asked

Wes nodded and took the Power Part out of his pocket. He gave it to Nett who observed for a moment before grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Excellent!" He said happily. "Thanks to you guys I'll be able to strengthen our signal to Marcia and the others on the surface and not lose connection no matter what Venus does! We should also be able to continue our research on Cipher."

Wes looked at Nett Curiously.

"What do you mean continue research?" He asked.

"Well..." Nett Began. "We were able to get into Cipher's data banks and have found several files about the group and the people inside it. Through this data, we discovered that Cipher has not been around for a recent amount of time. They've been around for almost thirty years!"

Rui looked at Nett with interest before speaking to him.

"I was told by my grandfather that they were around for a long time. I was also told that they did many good things but they went completely off the map before coming back with these horrible Shadow Pokemon."

"I think we may have the answer for why that is." Bitt said before smiling. "The Kid's Grid knows you guys are in deep water with Cipher and I know it was risky to send you guys into the hornets nest. We promised to help you guys out whenever we can. So as thanks for bringing me the power part I'd like to show you something."

Motioning for them to follow him, Nett lead the group into his area where his computer was before sitting down and pulling up a file.

Wes and Rui were new staring at a file with a black and white picture of an elderly looking man with long hair and a short stubby beard.

"Who's this?" Wes asked.

"This is Ciphers founder and former leader, 'Clarence T. Cipher' he was said to be a brilliant scientist who did many studies about the world of Pokemon. He's the man who was responsible for helping with several advances in our knowledge of Pokemon."

Wes and Rui stared at the picture.

"So this is the man who after all good he's done turned his organization into a group of pure evil." Wes said with anger in his voice.

"Actually Wes, he may not be the one to blame for Ciphers change." Nett stated. "Clarence T. Cipher died five years before Cipher went off the map. He died while he was still in charge of cipher and during that time there was no record of them doing anything bad. Things started changing when his successor took over. "

"Who was his successor?" Rui asked curiously.

"Their current leader, Evice." Nett said with a frown.

The young boy pulled up a file containing information about Cipher's current leader however unlike Clarence T. Cipher's profile this one had no picture.

"We don't have much info on him." Nett said. "We're guessing he's doing everything he can to make nobody finds out who he is if things go wrong for him."

"Why do you think it's Evice that's to blame for cipher's change?" Wes asked.

"Well, don't you think it's rather odd that after Clarence died and Evice took over, they disappeared and came back causing all this trouble?"

Rui thought about that for a moment and nodded her before looking at Wes.

"He may have point," She said. "It is rather strange that Cipher's doing all these horrible things with Evice as their leader but they did nothing wrong when their founder was leading them."

Wes thought about these theories for a moment.

"No matter, we still have to take Cipher down no matter who's responsible for starting this chaos." He said.

Suddenly the door to the base opened revealing Bitt who charged into Nett's room.

"Nett we've got trouble at the Under's entrance, it's one of Duking's boys and he's being assaulted by Venus' enforcer!"

Nett's eyes widened for a moment before he turned back to the computer. He closed the files he was showing to Wes and Rui before pulling up what looked like video feeds."

"We've hacked into Cipher's security camera's as well so we can see what they're doing on a regular basis." He expalined to Wes and Rui who looked at the video with him. He pulled up the live feed of the Under's entrance and true to what Bitt had said someone was being assaulted by a young woman who looked to be about Wes' age.

"Wait I think I recognize the guy being attacked," Wes said as he looked at the victim. "It's Silva but what's he doing here!? Nobody knows that we're even down here!?"

"He must have either found out or he was able to follow us down here without us noticing him." Rui suggested.

Wes watched the attack for a moment. He saw the enforcer point to two peons behind her and then back at Silva. The two peons walked up to him and tied his arms behind his back and then put a cloth around his mouth before throwing in what appeared to be a caged off area of The Under. Wes then looked at Espeon and Umbreon.

"Get ready to rumble you guys." He said to them earning determined nods in response before he turned to Rui. "We have to save Silva maybe if we do that we can probably convince him to keep his mouth shut to Duking about us being down here."

Rui raised an eyebrow.

"He hasn't really been able to keep secrets from Duking. You told me that you told him to not tell Duking about about you challenging Miror B. when I was kidnapped by him but he still went and blabbed to him anyway."

"Well then we'll keep him locked in that cage either way we have to save him." Wes said.

Rui didn't like the idea of keeping somebody captive but they really might not have a choice.

"Alright Wes let's go and help him." She said after a moment.

The group was about when Nett ran in front of them.

"I'm sure you guys already already know but you can tell a single thing about the Kids Grid or what you've seen to anybody except Marcia and her group above ground. You also can't tell anybody about this base."

"We know and we promise not to say anything." Wes said with a calm smile.

"One more thing, be careful with Venus' enforcer. She's not like any of the flunkies in Cipher you guys have fought in the past. She's one dangerous girl. She's said to be trained by Venus herself and Venus is no Pushover. So don't expect an easy fight."

Wes and Rui nodded.

"Thanks for the head's up." Wes said before looking at the girl beside him. "Come on let's get over there and save Silva."

Rui nodded and the two ran out of the base.

Making their way back to the entrance of the Under Wes suddenly stopped making Rui freeze in her tracks.

"Wes, is something wrong?" She asked.

"It's that bad feeling I talked about earlier. I can't stop thinking we need to leave and not come back, and if we don't something bad's gonna happen."

Rui looked at him for a moment curiously Wes normally never had bad feelings. Why was he having them now. Rui stepped a bit closer to him and she saw something that she had never seen before. He was trembling and there was a look of fear in his eyes. Wes was actually scared right now. Seeing him like this actually made Rui worried even more than she normally was for him. She began to think back about things that may have happened to make Wes think and act like this. After a moment she came with what she believed was the answer.

"Wes, I think your scared." She said.

She expected Wes to deny this belief but instead he just stared with her. Was he actually agreeing that he was scared right now?

"It's alright to be scared though." Rui continued. "Think about it. The last time you went face to face with someone in Cipher it nearly cost you your life. I think that incident is making you nervous and cautious right now. You don't want to get hurt like that again."

Wes simply stared at her but after a moment she walked up to him with a soft smile on her face.

"Don't worry I'm with you." She said sweetly. "I'll help you get through this fear now let's go and save Silva, and don't worry I'll be right by your side to face Cipher."

With that Rui began to run back to the entrance Wes remained frozen for a moment but then chased after her. Rui was duing her best to comfort him and he was truly grateful. It made his feelings he felt for her strengthen. It was also why he didn't have the heart to tell her that this fear he felt wasn't fear of his enemy or getting badly injured again. No, this was a fear of something else. Something he couldn't explain.

Eventually Wes, Rui, and his Pokemon were able to make it back to the entrance but when they did they saw no sign of Venus' enforcer or the peons from earlier. However they did spot Silva who was still trapped in a cage. Silva looked and gasped when he saw the kids.

"Wes! Rui!" He shouted happily with relief in his voice.

The group walked aver to him and faced on the other side of the cage door.

"Are you alright Silva?" Rui asked.

Silva nodded.

"Yeah, Cipher roughed me up pretty badly but I'm still alive and kickin'. Say how about you use one of your Pokemon to break the lock on this cage. Then you can let me out and we can all leave the Under before things get bad."

Wes and Rui simply stared at the hopeful looking assistant of Duking but eventually Wes shook his head.

"I'm afraid we can't do that Silva." He said. "We can't risk letting you out so you can run your big mouth to Duking about us being down here. We're not leaving the Under, not until we find Venus and defeat her."

"I'm afraid that won't be happening." A new voice said.

Rui turned around gasped when she saw a young woman with long blonde hair she was wearing a pink and sky blue striped dress with black tights and blue boots. Her brown eyes were calm and collected yet Rui could feel murderous intent in them as she held a Pokeball I her hand ready to summon whatever was inside.

"I take it your Venus' enforcer?" Wes questioned with his back still turned to the girl.

"Yes, I am." The girl replied calmly. "And you two must be Wes and Rui. I've heard much about you. However none of that matters because this is as far as you two go."

Wes still kept his back turned making Venus' enforcer frustrated.

"Turn around boy!" She snapped. "Stop being a coward and face me I want to see the eyes of my enemy."

After a second Wes turned around. He glared menacingly at the enforcer as he reached for his pocket to grab a Pokeball.

The enforcer stared into his golden eyes for only a second. Suddenly she gasped and her eyes went wide. The Pokeball she had in her hand fell out of it and onto the ground. She began to tremble and breath chaotically. This boy that stood in front he looked so much like the boy she once knew.

"Y-Y-Y-"

She stuttered and stuttered as she raised a shaking finger at the boy. Was this an illusion? Was this boy a ghost? The Wes she knew died ten years ago there was no way he could be alive. But this Wes looked so much like him if he were a teenager. The resemblance was uncanny, was he the Wes she once knew.

Wes stared at the girl confusingly. She was ready to hurt he and his friends just a second ago but now she looked frightened as if she was looking at a ghost.

"Uh are you okay?"

Suddenly tears started to come and flow from the girls eyes. She had only seen black and white files of this boy from Venus but seeing him in color made memories run through her head of an innocent and timid young boy who she was like an older sister to. He looked just like him in every single way. Maybe he wasn't dead.

"W-W-Wes...Wesly? Is it really you?" She said as she started to sob.

Wes grew even more confused as to why this girl was crying.

"Um, Wesley is my full name but how do you know that I don't even know you."

The girl did not respond instead she stepped closer to him. And a smile came to her face as her tears continued while she looked into his eyes. It was him it had to be.

"I-It is you." She sobbed happily. "You're alive."

Wes couldn't take this confusion anymore.

"What's going on!?" He asked with frustration "Why are crying!? What do you mean I'm alive!? Why are you acting as if you know me!? I've never seen you before!"

The girl simply continued to cry in happiness with a bright smile on her face.

"Wes..." She began. "It's me...Reina."

Wes suddenly stopped breathing at the mention of that name and his eyes went wide. Time felt like it had suddenly stopped and everything around him had disappeared. Everything except the girl in front of him.

Reina was nothing but a memory to him. She had been taken with her mother when their village was attacked. Wes had thought she was dead. Yet this girl just said her name. Wes looked at the girl for several long intense minuted and his eyes suddenly went as wide as hers were a minute ago. She had the same kind and caring brown as Reina and she had the same blonde only it was longer. Was she really the Reina he knew?

A childs voice began to ring through his ears it was her voice from when she was a child.

"Hey Wes, do you ever wonder what you'll be like when you grow up?"

"Let's promise each other to follow our dreams?"

"I know you'll one day see the world Wes. I know you will."

Tears began to form in his eyes as he stared at the girl who still smiled happily with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"R-Reina?" He sobbed. "I-Is that really you?"

The girl nodded and Wes' mind flashed back to her as a child and back to her now. It really was her.

Rui had hand hands over her mouth in shock she had been told by Wes about Reina but she thought she was dead yet both her and Wes' eyes did not lie to one another they really did no each other and now after ten years they're reunited. She could help but smile happily and wipe away a tear before nudging Wes with her elbow.

Wes looked at her for a moment with tears still streaming down his cheeks as she motioned with her head towards Reina while silently telling him to go on.

Wes took shaky steps towards Reina who did the same thing. Eventually her arms opened and she embraced Wes who slowly wrapped his arms around her.

"It really is you." Reina whispered as she softly cried happily.

Wes cried softly as well. He never imagined he would hear her voice again. The voice of his only childhood friend. The voice of the girl who looked out for him and took care of him when his parents couldn't. He tightened his hold on her a little bit as if this was all some cruel joke and she would disappear.

"I thought I would never see you again..."
