I have risen from the grave...again! Seriously though how are you all doing? It's been a while since I've updated hasn't it? I mean it's only been over a year...okay seriously though I've been gone for a really long time and you all deserve an explanation.
I pretty much lost all motivation to write anything for the longest time.
To be honest with all of you I never physically played Pokemon Colosseum I discovered it years ago through a let's play and I really enjoyed watching it. I found the story to be incredibly interesting and I felt like it deserved some love that's why I began writing this story even though I never physically played this game.
Anyway I tried and tried to make a new chapter but the creativity and motivation just wouldn't come even though I knew what I wanted to write. I didn't want to give you all a really crappy chapter and I didn't want to stop writing this story; so I decided to take some time away from the story and hoped the motivation would come back to me, but for the longest time nothing came.
Now I'm playing through all of the Pokemon games I have once again (Thank you 3DS Virtual Console) and the motivation to finish this story has finally returned.
All of you helped motivate me as well. Your positive reviews and messages have kept me from just giving up so many times and you all helped pull me through once again. I can't thank you all enough.

"Master Ein!" A voice called out.
The scientist and Cipher admin turned to see one of his guards waving at him.
"Yes, what is it?" He asked.
"Lady Venus is on the air. Her producer has asked me to inform you that she's battling the two kids that have been causing a trouble. What were their names? Oh yeah! Wes and Rui!
Ein raised an eyebrow and gave a sly smile.
"Really? Well then, I should watch this battle and see what the outcome will be. Turn on the monitor and show me the broadcast."
"Yes Sir!" The peon replied with a salute.
With a few key strokes a large monitor descended from the ceiling it turned on to reveal a very angry Venus staring down an equally angry teenage boy and a very worried looking girl behind him. Ein couldn't help but give a sinister chuckle.
"This battle should prove to be very interesting."
Wes and Venus glared at one another from opposite ends of the studio.
"Let the battle begin!" Venus said with an evil grin. "Go Delcatty!"
With a graceful twirl she threw her Pokeball and out came her Pokemon.
Wes looked at the Pokemon for a moment.
"Delcatty huh?" He said to himself before choosing a Pokeball from his belt. "Lets go, Hariyama!"
Wes threw his Pokeball out and the giant Pokemon appeared.
Hariyama glared at Delcatty and raised his foot before stomping it down to show his power and to try and intimidate the cute looking Pokemon.
"Ladies first." Wes said.
Venus smiled.
"Oh my, how gentlemanly of you." She replied "However you just made a big mistake and we've barely begun. Delcatty use Attract!"
"What!?" Wes shouted in surprise.
Delcatty sat down and looked at Hariyama sweetly. The giant Pokemon's glare began to soften and he began to lower his arms. Even though she was his enemy he found her to be incredibly pretty. His heart began racing and he began to sweat. this was an entirely new feeling to him was this love!? Delcatty fanned her eyes lovingly at the Pokemon and then winked at him. Hariyama dropped to his knees and bowed to her honorably.
"Wes and Rui both stared at the scenes with their jaws hanging open. Did Hariyama just fall head over heels for a Pokemon that was three times as small as him?
"Hey Hariyama snap out of it!" Wes yelled.
However the Pokemon continued to bow to Delcatty.
"Come on Hariyama now is not the time to fall in love!" Wes yelled at the love-struck Pokemon.
"Now Delcatty, use Water Pulse!" Venus ordered.
Delcatty stood back and fired a blast of water from her mouth at Hariyama who was still on cloud nine. The water struck him right between the eyes and he was sent flying backwards.
"Hariyama!" Wes shouted out in worry.
The Pokemon stood back up and shook his head.
"Quick use Arm Thrust!" Wes ordered without hesitation.
However Hariyama was still attracted to Delcatty he wouldn't dare strike her.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Wes yelled in frustration.
Venus laughed merrily.
"Ah, it's beautiful isn't it? All of my Pokemon know Attract and no Pokemon can resist them. Especially my cute little Delcatty."
Wes growled.
"Hariyama Return!" He ordered as he returned the Pokemon to his Pokeball knowing he would have to use another one.
He crossed his arms and began to think. Espeon was his best bet against Delcatty because she was a female. However she was knocked out in the battle with Reina. She was his only female Pokemon which meant Wes was at a huge disadvantage especially if every Pokemon Venus had knew Attract. He had to think of something.
"Let's go, Typhlosion!"
Wes threw out the Pokeball and the fire Pokemon appeared in front of him.
Venus couldn't help but laugh again.
"What's the point, I'll just use attract again!"
"Typhlosion use smokescreen!" Wes ordered, not listening to word Venus was saying.
The fire Pokemon inhaled and then breathed out a large cloud of smoke covering the arena. Delcatty coughed and gagged as the smoke became thicker and thicker.
"You can't charm a Pokemon if you can't see!" Wes stated.
Venus growled.
"Clever, but it's not good enough! Delcatty use Water Pulse!"
A blast of water shot out the smoke directly towards Typhlosion who had just enough time to widen his before being struck by the water. The fire Pokemon yelled out in pain as he was sent flying into the wall.
"Typhlosion!" Wes screamed.
Typhlosion got back to his feet but he was clearly shaken. Being a fire type that water did extra damage to him but he wasn't giving up so easily.
"Use flamethrower!" Wes yelled.
The fire Pokemon inhaled and the unleashed a stream of fire. The smokescreen began to dissipate and Delcatty's vision was getting clearer. However once she fully regained her eyes widened in horror as a large river of flames was coming right at her. With not enough time to reach she was struck with great force and burned by the fire. She was sent crashing into the wall behind her.
"Delcatty!" Venus cried out in worry.
The Pokemon slowly got to her feet and shook her head.
"Take him down!" Venus shouted "Use Thunderbolt!"
"Dodge it Typhlosion and use Quick Attack!"
Delcatty eyes sparked with electricity and her tail began to shoot out lightning! Typhlosion began to run towards her bolts of lighting shot down from above. He dodged each bolt with the greatest of ease and rammed himself hard into Delcatty's stomach tackling her to the ground.
"NO!" Venus screamed.
Delcatty however got back to her feet once more.
"You won't beat my Pokemon!" Venus roared in anger "Delcatty use Water Pulse!"
"Typhlosion! Fire Blast!"
It was now a battle of speed. Who was going to hit the other? Both Pokemon inhaled as water formed in Delcatty's mouth Fire appeared in Typhlosion's mouth and he unleashed it without hesitation Delcatty was about to unleash her attack but it was to late as the large fireball struck her with all of it's devastating power. She cried out in pain as she flew backwards. She landed at Venus' feet and was knocked out. The young woman dropped to her knees and cradled the Pokemon like a newborn child.
"Oh, my sweet little Delcatty" Venus said with sadness as she brought out her Pokeball. "You fought well now get some rest"
Delcatty disappeared into the Pokeball and Venus got back to her feet glaring angrily at Wes.
"You're stronger than I thought." She said. "However this fight is far from over."
Grabbing two Pokeball's from the pockets of her dress. She smirked and showed them to her sandy haired opponent.
"Let's see how you handle these two Pokemon! Go Steelix! Go Vileplume!"
Both Pokemon appeared with faces of determination.
Wes quickly grabbed a Pokeball from his belt to even up the battle.
"Go Hariyama!"
The fighting Pokemon appeared no longer caught in Delcatty's Attract. However he appeared to be quite angry. He fell for that little Pokemon and in result shamed himself in front of his master. He swore that he would not fall for the same trick twice.
"Vileplume use Stun Spore on Hariyama and Steelix use Earthquake!" Venus ordered.
Vileplume began to shake the petals on her head and sent flying yellow spores into the air that floated over to Hariyama and landed on him.
The Pokemon cried out in pain as he felt all the muscles in his body lock up making him completely immobile.
Steelix let out an ear splitting roar making Wes Rui and Venus cover their ears before slamming his gigantic body into the ground. Enormous shockwaves raced through the ground. Vileplume felt the ground underneath her move before it exploded launching her into the air. She landed back on the ground with a hard thud.
The earthquake continued to race towards Hariyama and Typhlosion. Typhlosion was too weak to move and Hariyama couldn't move at all. The ground suddenly exploded underneath them sending them both into the air. Hariyama landed first with making the crater under him even larger and Typhlosion quickly followed suit.
Every Pokemon except Steelix was down but each one began to recover, starting with Vileplume, followed by Hariyama. However there was one Pokemon who was not moving. A certain fire type Pokemon.
"Typhlosion!" Wes cried out in fear.
This looked the end of the road for Typhlosion as he looked like he was unconscious. However there was slight movement in his legs and after a few seconds he opened his eyes. Slowly struggling Typhlosion got back to his feet but he could barely stand.
"Typhlosion, hang in there!" Wes cheered "Don't let them take you down without a fight!"
Typhlosion looked back at his master and Rui and nodded with determination. He then looked at Typhlosion who nodded to him and the two were ready to continue the fight.
"Typhlosion use Fire Blast on Vileplume! Hariyama use Vital Throw on Steelix!"
Typhlosion got to his hind legs and blasted a large ball of fire striking Vileplume hard and fast. Hariyama rushed with incredible quickness and with every bit of strength he had, lifted the gigantic Steelix into his arms before jumping and throwing him into the ground.
Steelix was able to get back up, however Vileplume swayed back and forth before she fell over to her side. She was knocked out.
Venus shouted in anger as she returned Vileplume to her Pokeball.
"How is this possible!? How could a child be giving me so much trouble!?" She screamed before grabbing another Pokeball and throwing it into the battlefield. "Banette, come out!"
The ghost type Pokemon appeared beside Steelix ready to battle.
"Typhlosion use fire blast on Steelix and Hariyama finish him with Vital throw."
"Steelix use Rock slide on Typhlosion, Banette use psychic on Hariyama!"
Typhlosion tried to prepare his attack but he was so weakened that he was having trouble. Hariyama charged towards Steelix but the giant steel type Pokemon was faster than him all the while Banette had had him in his sight. With eyes glowing, the ghost type fire a blast of psychic energy at the Hariyama while Steelix flew into the air before pounding into the ground.
The psychic energy blasted Hariyama backwards and into the wall while the arena began to tremble.
Typhlosion looked up and saw large rocks falling directly above him. The fire Pokemon jumped out of the way of the first rock and then the second one, but the onslaught of rocks just kept coming leaving Typhlosion unable to defend himself any further. He was struck by one rock after the other. Once the attack the was finished Typhlosion finally collapsed.
"Typhlosion!" Wes cried out in worry.
The fire Pokemon was knocked out.
Wes lowered his head and returned Typhlosion to his Pokeball. Typhlosion and Espeon were both knocked out and Hariyama wasn't going to last much longer. His only two Pokemon left were Entei and Umbreon.
"Umbreon, Let's go!" Wes ordered to the Pokemon beside."
Umbreon jumped in beside the exhausted Hariyama, and was ready to battle.
"Steelix use Rockslide on Hariyama! Banette use Shadow Ball on Umbreon!"
"Hariyama use Vital Throw on Steelix! Umbreon use Bite on Banette!"
Steelix began to fly into the air but Hariyama was faster as the fighting type grabbed him by the tail and pulled him back down wrapping a secure arm around him he jumped into the air and slammed the Steelix into the ground with immense force, knocking out the steel type.
Banette formed a shadow ball in his hands and blasted it at Umbreon who was able to dodge it with ease. The dark type jumped at his opponent with and sunk his teeth deep into his neck. Banette howled out in pain as Umbreon bit down harder. Banette tried to pry the dark type off of him but it only caused him to sink his teeth deeper. Banette screamed out begging for mercy, Umbreon granted him none. The pain became so great the Banette finally fell over and passed out.
"Yes!" Wes and Rui cheered happily.
Venus was absolutely beside herself. This is not what she she wanted to happen with all of her superiors no doubt watching this fight. Not to mention she was on live television and all of the under was witnessing her losing to a child.
She only had one Pokemon left but it was one that she was given direct orders from Evice not to lose, or there would be dire consequences. However she was also given the order to eliminate Wes and Rui, and if she failed to do so, there would also be dire consequences. Feeling she had no other choice she grabbed her final Pokeball from the pocket of her dress.
"This is not happening! I refuse to lose to such a feeble trainer! Come out, Suicune!"
Venus through out the Pokeball and appearing in front of Wes' Pokemon was the legendary Pokemon, Suicune.
Rui gasped in pain as she held her head. This pain could only mean one thing...
"Wes! Suicune's a Shadow Pokemon!"
Wes gasped. Neither he nor Rui wanted to believe what Dakim had told them on Mt. Battle, but it was true. Cipher really did have all three legendary Johto Pokemon and there was no doubt now that they were all Shadow Pokemon. Wes knew he couldn't stay shocked though. He had to fight and rescue Suicune from his captor and change him back to normal.
Wes prepared to give an order to his Pokemon but he froze. Neither Hariyama nor Umbreon were going to stand much of chance against Suicune. Even though he was a fire type going up against a water type and he was a Shadow Pokemon, Wes felt that if he wanted to snag Suicune, Entei was going to be his best bet in battle.
"Hariyama! Umbreon! That's enough, return!" Wes ordered as he put Hariyama back into his Pokeball.
Umbreon returned to his masters side as Wes grabbed the last Pokeball in his pocket.
"Let's go, Entei!"
The legendary Pokemon appeared and let out a fierce roar.
"So you think you can win using Entei?" Venus asked. "Allow me to prove you wrong! Suicune use Shadow Rush!"
"Entei dodge it and use Fire Blast!"
Suicune charged towards his opponent only for him to jump out of the way at the last second. Entei was barely on all four feet before he began charging up a ball of fire in his mouth. He turned around and unleashed his attack. Suicune saw the fireball coming at him at a high rate of speed and jumped to the side. The fireball flew past him and was coming directly at Venus.
"Whoa!" She shouted before jumping out of the way.
The fireball barely missed her but blasted into the production desk behind her setting it ablaze.
One of the television crew members quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the fire before it could spread.
"That was too close..." Venus said to herself before turning back to her opponent.
"I won't miss this time!" Wes shouted. "Entei use fire blast again!"
However Entei did not respond to his command. He simply stood there.
"Entei? Did you here me? I said to use Fire Blast!"
Still Entei did nothing.
Venus smiled evilly.
"Having trouble my dear? That's too bad, because this is my chance! Suicune use surf!"
Suicune however also did not respond to his command making Venus go wide eyed.
"Dammit Suicune I told you to use surf!" Venus ordered again.
Suicune still did nothing.
Wes saw the miscommunication as an opportunity.
"Entei use Shadow Rush!"
Entei still did not comply he simply stood there.
"Entei!? What's going on why aren't you listening to me."
Wes walked to the front of his Pokemon to look him in the eyes. However when he did he saw Entei's head was hung low. He wasn't sure if he was hearing things but he swore he could hear a growl coming from the legendary Pokemon.
"Entei?"
Entei looked up and Wes suddenly gasped his eyes were glowing red and he was baring his sharp teeth. The legendary Pokemon then let out an ear deafening roar making everyone cover their ears.
Wes became very concerned.
"Entei Wha-"
Suddenly before he could finish his sentence Entei took a fierce bit at him making the sandy haired trainer fall back. He barely had time to think because the second he land Entei swung his sharp claws at him. He cried out in pain as he was scratched directly across the chest.
"Wes!" Rui screamed in terror.
The fiery haired girl could not believe what she was witnessing. Entei was attacking Wes.
"Entei Stop! What's gotten into you!?" Wes asked as the fire Pokemon charged at him.
He barely dodged what looked like an attempted Shadow Rush attack.
However what happened next surprised and horrified everybody.
Instead of trying to attack Wes again, Entei unleashed a fireball and launched it at the production crew who screamed in terror before quickly jumping out the way the fireball struck the giant monitor and destroyed it. Entei unleashed another fireball this time at a wall. He then charged at a stage light and snapped it in two with Shadow Rush.
"Entei! Stop it!" Wes shouted to the Pokemon but to no avail as Entei destroyed another monitor with a fireball.
Venus was also shocked by the chaotic Pokemon's actions but eventually came back to her senses. She saw that both Wes and Rui was distracted by the Rampaging Entei. This was her chance to finish him them for good.
"Suicune use Shadow Rush On-"
Suicune suddenly let out an ear splitting roar that could rival Entei's and began running towards not Wes and Rui but at Entei. The legendary Pokemon rammed his head into The fire Pokemon's side sending him flying and crashing into the wall.
Wes and Rui both gasped and then looked at Suicune who turned towards the two of them and began to charge. Wes quickly grabbed onto Rui and jumped out of the way of the oncoming beast, who broke through a desk behind them, snapping it in half as if it was a toothpick. He then began to ram his side into the walls making the parts of the ceiling crumble.
"Suicune attack Wes and Rui not the studio!" Venus shouted as she was watching her Shadow Pokemon destroy anything in it's path.
Suicune then froze and turned towards Venus. With glowing red eyes he let out another deafening roar and charged at her.
Venus screamed as she jumped out his way.
"Suicune that's Enough! Cease! Desist!" She shouted as he charged at her again only to miss once more.
Entei then focused on the camera crew beside him and charged then unleashed a large beam of ice from his mouth at them.
They all screamed and scrambled out of the way as the ice destroyed a camera.
Venus became very scared and looked all around until she saw a door. Very quickly she ran for the door and escaped the carnage her Pokemon was causing.
Suicune continued to fire Ice Beams in all directions as Entei began to recover.
The Fire Pokemon let out a roar as he charged at Suicune. The Water Pokemon saw him and began to charge as well. The two collided head on as Entei tackled Suicune to the ground and bit into his neck. The water Pokemon cried out in pain and kicked his opponent of him. Both Pokemon quickly got back to their feet as Suicune fired another beam of ice, this time at Entei who dodged it.
Wes and Rui went wide eyed as they saw they were in path of the ice beam. Wes quickly grabbed Rui again and jumped out of the way. The two then saw a desk that had been knocked over earlier in Entei's rage and took cover behind it.
"Cut the program! We have to get out of here!" The director shouted as he and the rest of the television crew all escaped the chaos through separate doors.
Wes and Rui were now completely alone as they peaked up from behind the desk and saw that Entei and Suicune were still fighting.
The two Pokemon charged and headbutted one another like two bulls locking horns. Entei then used Fire Blast, sending Suicune flying into a control desk. He quickly recovered and blasted a large blast of water from his mouth before chasing after it. Entei quickly dodged the attack only to be met with Suicune tackling him to the ground and biting into his neck just like he did to Suicune earlier. He howled out in pain before using all four legs to catapult Suicune off of him making him land on his back behind him.
They both quickly got back to their feet and roared at one another. The two legendary Pokemon wanted to kill each other and they weren't going to stop fighting until one of them succeeded in doing so.
"What's happening!?" Wes yelled in panic. "They're both completely out of control!"
"I think they're both in Hyper Mode!" Rui responded as she saw debris fly over her head.
"What the hell is that!?"
"Do you remember showing me the Ein file you found!?" Rui responded "It said that Shadow Pokemon lose all control and can turn on their trainers. We have to try and calm them down it's the only way to make them stop!"
Entei was sent crashing into a wall by Suicune and landed right beside Wes and Rui. The pair quickly ran from the Pokemon as he got back up and ran back into battle.
"What's going on in here!?" A new voice shouted out
Wes and Rui gasped when they recognized the voice. Looking to a door they saw Reina who had her hands over a mouth in shock. She had escaped the room when Wes and Venus had began her fight then she saw her foster mother run past her in terror making her go see what was happening. When she arrived she was greeted by the site of two legendary attacking one another in a complete out of control rampage.
"Reina get out of here! It's too dangerous!" Wes yelled at her.
Entei blasted Suicune with a giant fire ball launching him in Reina's direction. She gasped and jumped out the way before running to Wes and Rui.
"What's happening!?" she asked with worry in her voice.
"Entei and Suicune are in Hyper Mode! They're both completely out of control!" Rui responded.
"We have to try and calm them down!" Wes said immediately after her.
Reina looked up to the fighting Pokemon and nodded her head in determination. She had to help Wes and Rui put an end to this madness. She wasn't caring that she was helping the enemy right now all she cared about was saving two tortured Pokemon.
"Alright! You two take care of Entei! I'll try to calm down Suicune!" She said to them before running into the battlefield.
"Reina! Wait!" Wes yelled out only to feel Rui's hand on his shoulder.
"Don't try and stop her Wes! She seems to know what she's doing!" She said. "Let's try to calm down Entei!"
Wes was hesitant but he eventually nodded.
The two ran into the battlefield and saw the carnage the continued to happen.
Suicune fired an Ice beam at Entei who dodged it and charged at his opponent with Shadow Rush. He rammed his head into his side and sent Suicune crashing into the wall. However even after all the attacks that have been inflicted upon him he was able to get back up.
"Suicune, that's enough! Please calm down!" Reina shouted beside the Pokemon.
The legendary Pokemon looked at her and charged at her.
Reina tried to dodge but she was to late and Suicune rammed his head into her.
"Reina!" Wes cried out in worry only to have to dodge an attack from Entei directed at him.
Reina got back to her feet.
"I'm alright!" She confirmed as she turned back to Suicune.
"Suicune, please! It's okay! I'm not going to hurt you!" she said trying to reason with Pokemon.
Wes was jumping around like a rabbit trying to avoid swipes and bites from Entei.
"Entei, It's me, Wes!" He said to the fire Pokemon "Stop attacking everyone! You're better than this! I know you are!"
Entei however did not listen and continued his assault.
Eventually Wes saw an opportunity to get around Entei. He quickly took it and ran behind him. He then jumped on his back so he couldn't be struck.
Entei began to buck around like a bronco to get the sand haired trainer off of him but Wes held on for dear life.
"Entei, Please!" Rui begged as she watched Wes hold on to the legendary Pokemon.
Entei eventually was able to knock Wes off of him and he landed on the ground with a hard thud. Wes immediately began to run to avoid being stepped on. Talking with Entei wasn't going to stop him he had to try and return him to his Pokeball.
"Hariyama come out!" Wes said as he threw out a Pokeball he grabbed.
Hariyama appeared still exhausted from his fight.
"Hariyama, hurry! Use vital throw on Entei!"
The fighting Pokemon rushed up to Entei and grabbed him from underneath and then quickly jumped up and slammed the Pokemon into the ground creating a crater around him.
"Now hold him down!" Wes directed.
Hariyama immediately fell to his knees and applied all of his weight to the Pokemon. Wes grabbed Entei's Pokeball to return him to it.
"Wes wait!" Rui yelled grabbing Wes' arm.
"What!? Now's not the time Rui!" Wes snapped as he jerked his arm away.
"Look!" She quickly responded pointing at Entei.
Wes turned around and gasped. Entei's eyes were no longer growing and he was starting to calm down. The legendary Pokemon looked up at Wes but was not struggling to break free.
"Entei? Are you back to normal?" Wes asked with a small amount of hope in his voice.
Entei looked at Wes confusingly. What did he mean by back to normal? Did something happen to him?He couldn't remember anything that had happened, but when he looked up he saw that everything was destroyed and it looked like something of great power was to blame. He was the only one with such power to cause this much destruction. He continued to look around at all the carnage he had caused lowered his head in sadness.
Wes shook his head in sympathy and dropped to his knees. He then stroked Entei's cheek softly and gently.
"It's not your fault." He said softly "You weren't yourself."
Entei was still ashamed at his actions and looked away.
Wes sighed and held out his Pokeball.
"Get some rest. You've been through enough."
"Wes help!" A voice cried out.
Everyone including Entei looked up. Wes gasped in horror as he saw Reina knocked down to the ground and pinned into a corner by Suicune who was still in Hyper Mode.
"Reina! Hold on!" Wes said getting back to his feet and running towards the enraged Pokemon.
Without thinking he jumped at Suicune and surprisingly tackled him to the ground. Reina quickly got up and ran away from the corner. She was stunned at what she was witnessing. Either Wes had gotten a whole lot stronger since she last saw him or Suicune was incredibly weakened. Wes fought with all of his strength to hold the Pokemon down. Suicune roared and kicked in retaliation as Wes tried to reason with him.
"Suicune! You don't know me, but I'm not your enemy! I don't wanna hurt you! I'm here to help you! I'm begging you, please calm down!"
Suicune however wasn't listening and gained enough strength to overpower his sandy haired assailant. He knocked him off and got back to his feet. Just as Wes did the same he was quickly knocked backwards by a Shadow Rush attack from Suicune. Feeling overwhelming pain in his ribs he crashed into the a control booth and fell to the ground.
"Wes!" Both Rui and Reina cried out as they rushed to the boys side.
The two girls helped Wes sit up as he groaned in pain.
"It's no use, he won't listen." He said.
Suicune saw that all of his enemies were in one place now and he was going to finish them off. The trio of kids looked at him with horror in their eyes as he began to charge a beam of ice in his mouth.
However before he could blast them with attack he was struck by a ball of fire. He turned around and saw Entei standing beside him growling and teeth bared. Wes and his friends could see that this time though he was himself. Suicune however did not care, he simply turned around and faced Entei, ready to put an end to their battle.
Entei looked at Suicune and then at Wes. Even though he wasn't himself earlier he was now and he was going to protect this boy that was trying to help him.
Wes looked at Entei and then at Suicune. Suddenly he gasped, he saw that Suicune was shaking and struggling a little bit meaning he was weakened. An idea came into his mind as he grabbed a Pokeball and put on the Snag Machine. Rui looked down at him and saw what he was doing she didn't say anything though trusting that Wes knew what he was doing.
"Entei use Fire Blast!" Wes ordered.
Quickly Entei jumped back and got on his hind legs before coming back down and unleashing a large ball of fire.
Suicune eyes went wide. He tried to dodge but it was to late as the fireball hit him will all of it's devastating power. The legendary Pokemon cried out in pain and fell on to his side.
"Wes, quick snag him!" Rui shouted.
Wes got back to his feet and threw a Snag Ball at Suicune. The legendary Pokemon disappeared in a red glow as the ball fell to the ground and began to shake. Everyone looked at it in silence.
1 shake...
2 shakes...
3 shakes...
Then it went still.
Wes closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief. It was over. Suicune was caught.
Rui cheered and then dropped to her knees. She then wrapped her arms around Wes in a tight hug.
"We did it, Wes! We caught Suicune."
Wes blushed a little bit then smiled.
"Yeah...we did...we caught him." He said clearly exhausted.
He then looked at Reina who was actually smiling yet she also looked concerned.
"Are you alright?" She asked him.
Wes nodded his head.
"I've been through worse." He said with a small smile.
Reina held out her hand to him. He stared her for a second, then accepted her offer. She helped pull him up and the two continued to stare at one another unsure of what to say. Eventually Wes broke the silence between them.
"Thank you, Reina." He said.
"Oh, no. Don't start thanking me, Wes." She said with a smile as she put her hands on her hips. "You were the one who saved me, and you were the one that saved Suicune."
"It doesn't matter. You still helped me. Even though we're so supposed to be enemies you still stood by my side just like when we were kids. I know you said that we weren't friends anymore Reina, but I don't believe that for a second. I still care about you."
Reina didn't know what to say, but she continued to smile. He was absolutely right. Everything she said to him was a lie and she knew it. She still cared about he was still her best friend.
"I care about you too Wes." She said.
Wes then grabbed both of her hands.
"I know I can't ask you too turn on Venus after all she's done for you, but please, I can't stand to watch you do things you and I both know you never wanted to do. I'm asking you, no I'm begging to put an end to this madness and come with me."
Reina simply looked down.
"Wes...I-"
Suddenly let out a loud gasp and her eyes went wide as a blade of light slashed passed her with incredible speed. Blood shot from her back from her as she let go off Wes' hands and descended to the ground. Wes' mouth fell open and his eyes went wide as She land on her back with a thud and a pool of blood began to poor around her. Wes was silent only a second before he screamed her name at the top of his lungs.
"REINA!"
He dropped to his knees and held her as blood from her back streamed down his hands.
Rui saw everything in her eyes were as wide as Wes' as she held her hands over her mouth. It didn't take long for her to react though as she ran over to Wes' side and dropped to her knees beside him.
Reina let out short unsteady gasps of air and body began to shake.
"No Reina no!" was all Wes could say as he held her.
Reina continued to gasp for air that would not come. Her eyes looked all around and she saw two familiar figures standing on a balcony.
Wes and Rui both looked and gasped at who they saw. It was Gonzap and Nascour and flying beside Gonzap was his Pokemon Skarmory. Gonzap simply scowled at Wes as he showed him a Pokeball and returned the Pokemon beside him to it letting Wes know that it was he who attacked Reina. Nascour on the other hand stared at all three of the kids with his arms crossed and a cold and emotionless stare.
Reina choked and gagged forcing Wes' eyes to look back down her. It was then that he suddenly remembered Reina telling him that a price was to be paid if she betrayed Cipher.
"No...No...Reina...this can't be happening!" He shouted as she laid in his arms dying.
"W-Wes..." She whispered.
"No! Please...Reina...please...you can't die!" He begged as tears started to form in his eyes.
A tear fell down his cheek as Reina struggled to bring her hand up. She eventually succeeded and put her hand on his cheek and used her finger to dry away the tear.
"Do you remember when we were kids? We promised that we would follow our dreams?" She asked smiling?
Wes sobbed as he nodded his head.
"I want you to keep your promise to me."
"Reina! You can't die, please don't leave! Don't leave me alone again!" Wes cried.
"But, you're not alone Wes..not anymore.." She whispered softly with a gentle smile as her eyes turned to Rui who had tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Rui, take care of him for me." She said reaching a hand out her.
Rui took her hand and held it as her hand started to slip from Wes' cheek. Her other hand dropped out of Rui's and they both fell to the ground.
"Reina? Reina!? You can't go! Stay with me!" Wes begged through his sobs of grief.
Reina's breathing became slower and slower until it eventually stopped.
"No...please...come back Reina!" Wes whispered as he cradled her now lifeless body and rocked it back in forth whispering over and over again for her to come back.
Rui broke down into tears and hugged Wes. She barely knew Reina yet with the way she acted to her it felt like they had known each other for eternity.
Wes sat there crying and holding Reina. The memories of his parents started coming back to him followed by his memories of Reina. His parents were gone and he felt all alone, then he found her again. She was the only family he had left and now she was gone too, leaving him all alone once again.
Suddenly loud footsteps came Wes and Rui's way. They both looked up and saw Gonzap and Nascour standing in front of them, their faces void of any emotion. Wes simply stared at Gonzap, the man who took Reina's life. He tears flowed down his cheeks like endless streams.
"G-Gonzap..Why!?" He whispered brokenly.
"You see what your up against now, mate?" He said glaring angrily at him. "No matter how many times you rise we're gonna send you crashing back down."
Nascour stared at the two of them with cold merciless eyes and said something that made the two broken children shiver.
"You will never win."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
A loud high pitched scream echoed through the studio.
Everyone turned to see Venus standing there with her had over her mouth and tears flowing down her cheeks.
"REINA!"
She ran over to the group as fast as she could. She shoved Wes and Rui out of the way and held Reina's body.
"Oh, Reina! My sweet little Reina!" She cried rocking her back and forth.
Wes sat there stunned for what felt like an eternity. Rui stared at Venus and then at him. She saw his body starting to tremble and his eye twitch. His breathing became heavier and heavier. He then got to his feet and she did the same. However when she decided to look into his eyes she gasped. She could see he had a murderous intent in them as he stared not at Venus, not at Nascour, but at Gonzap.
"You.." he whispered before screaming in absolute rage. "YOU BASTARD!"
Without hesitation, Wes charged at Gonzap and tackled him to the ground. Gonzap however threw Wes off of him with the greatest of ease.
"Wes!" Rui cried out in worry.
She ran to Wes' side but he completely ignored and charged at Gonzap once more who this time punched Wes as hard as he could making him drop like an anchor.
"Gonzap, grab Venus and let's go." Nascour said calmly as Wes got back to his feet.
Gonzap simply glared at Wes.
"I'll deal with you later." He said to him before going over to Venus who continued to sob and cradle her dead foster daughter.
He pried from Reina's body making her scream in protest.
"NO! NO!"
With a sigh of irritation Gonzap hoisted her ungracefully over his shoulder making her scream in protest.
"PUT ME DOWN! LET ME GO! SHE NEEDS ME!"
"She's dead woman!" Gonzap snapped.
The trio ran up a nearby staircase and through a door atop a balcony, leaving Wes and Rui alone. The enraged boy quickly took pursuit.
"YOU ARE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME AGAIN!" He roared.
Rui gasped and quickly ran after Wes.
The two ran up a nearby staircase and followed the escaping group through the door. Gonzap was in his line of sight as he began running down several flights of stairs. Eventually they ran ran through another door down a long hallway. Wes and Rui were right on them as Wes began to pick up speed.
Nascour never looked back for a second as eventually he saw what looked like train. He then saw two peons who saluted him.
"Open the doors and start the train you idiots!" He snapped.
The two peons then saw why he was in such a hurry and quickly obeyed his orders. The sliding doors opened and Nascour was on board followed by Gonzap and the still screaming Venus. Wes was not far behind though.
"Shut the doors, and get us moving Now!" Nascour ordered.
Wes quickly ran up to the train as the doors started to close. One peon quickly got inside the other however was not so lucky. Wes dove for the door and grabbed the peons ankle. He then started to pull him away from the train. The peon shouted and grabbed the door frame as Wes continued to try and drag him from the door.
"No! Help me!" The peon screamed as everyone simply stared at him.
His fingers started to slip as Wes used all of his strength to yank him from the train. The peons fingers finally slipped and he was dragged towards an enraged Wes as the doors closed and the trained pulled away.
Wes then punched the peon as hard he could. Making him cry out in pain. Wes punched him again breaking his fist through his helmet. He removed the helmet and let loose a fury of punches on the peons now exposed face. The underling continued to scream in pain.
"Stop please! Have mercy!"
Wes did not listen as he struck the defenseless peon again and again. He just lost his best friend there was no way he was showing mercy to any of these monsters.
The peon tried cover his face but he was unable to as Wes continued to strike him.
Rui grabbed Wes and tried to pull him away.
"Wes stop you're going to kill him!" She begged.
Wes turned around and shoved Rui to the ground before attacking the peon once more. Rui laid there stunned she had never seen Wes this enraged.
Wes struck the peon over and over before wrapping his hands around his neck. The peon struggled against him but was no match for his strength as he continued to choke him.
Wes' eyes were burning with the desire to see this man die. He couldn't get his hands on Gonzap in time so this sniveling little worm would have to do.
"Wes Stop please!" Rui begged.
Wes did not listen as he continued to choke the life out the peon who continued to struggle against him.
Suddenly loud heavy footsteps were heard banging in their direction. Rui turned around and gasped at who she saw. It was Duking, as well as Silva and several other men! Duking looked over at Wes and gasped at what he saw.
"Wes that's enough!" He snapped.
Wes didn't even hear Duking he was solely focused on taking this peons life in retaliation for Reina's life.
"Please! Get him off me!" The peon begged as he started to pass out from lack of air.
Duking ran at Wes and then lifted him into the air before slamming him to the ground and pinning him down.
"LET ME GO!" Wes yelled at the top of his lungs to Duking.
The peon he had in his grasp coughed and gagged as he desperately tried to get back air.
Duking paid no attention to him however and simply looked down at the screaming boy underneath that was fighting against him with all of his might.
On the train Gonzap finally dropped the protesting Venus who charged at him and pounded his chest.
"You Monster!" She cried as tears continued to pour down her cheeks. "You killed her! She was only a child and you killed her! How could you kill my sweet little Reina!?"
Venus continued to cry and pound at Gonzap's chest. Gonzap simply stared at more annoyed than anything.
"That's enough, Venus!" Nascour snapped sternly.
Venus quickly turned to her superior.
"But he killed her!"
"On my orders!"
Venus fell silent and her eyes went wide.
"W-what did you say?"
"Did you not here me? I was the one who told Gonzap to kill Reina." Nascour said angrily.
Venus dropped to her knees not believe what she was hearing.
"Y-You ordered...B-but she..."
"She betrayed us. I ordered her to kill Wes and she refused. She knew the punishment for betrayal."
Venus simply sobbed and looked down at the ground.
"B-but she was my..."
Nascour shook his head disapprovingly.
"I warned you not to get attached to her, Venus."
Nascour and Gonzap both walked away to another car as Venus broke down and laid on the ground sobbing uncontrollably for the loss of her precious child.
Back at the train dock. Duking continued to hold down Wes who fought, clawed and struggled against him. The peon he beat nearly to death was taken away leaving a few of Duking's men Silva and Duking himself.
"Wes that's enough! It's over!"
Wes began to stop struggling. All of the pain he was feeling started to boil over as tears came his eyes. Duking was right, it was over. He failed again, and this time he lost someone dear to him. All could do no was close his eyes, let his tears flow, and scream.
So that's what he did.
