A/N: Hey everyone! Nice to get an update out of me right?! Well we left off with Steve's match and a lot of parties trying to confront Nina. Guess who came to her rescue...? ;-) Now let's see the aftermath of everyone's ordeal. Enjoy!
Entry 12: Aftermath Preparation Part 1
The sound of water rushing out of the shower-head of one's bathroom suddenly died down as the individual standing in the middle of it sighed. Xiaoyu slowly opened her eyes as she looked at the remaining water, seep down into the drain. The water reminded her of Nina's injuries the previous night; though she figured the woman's wounds weren't all that bad. However, she was a bit surprised to see the assassin in such a state, especially since she was well experienced in her profession. Though, it wasn't much of a shock that the blonde was a target for Jin's adversaries who wanted to get their hands on him. She had been previously involved with him those years ago.
Xiaoyu sighed as she finally pulled back the shower curtain and stepped out, retrieving her towel to wrap around herself. She also wrapped a hand towel over and around her drenched hair so it could start drying, as she walked across and out of the bedroom connected bathroom. The apartment held two bedrooms and Panda occupied the other, but Xiaoyu figured the lovable bear was fast asleep by now. It was 11:00pm and she had basically been in the house all day; being the weekend meant no school so she didn't have any classes. The young woman grabbed her cell phone from upon her nightstand before sitting upon the edge of the queen-sized bed.
After slightly pressing the power-lock button, she noticed that she didn't have any missed calls or text messages. Xiaoyu sighed, Jin hadn't contacted her all day and she didn't know what their next move was supposed to be. He had her schedule and promised that he would work around it without any complications. But she didn't mind if she skipped a few days of school, so long as she got to spend a little more time with the man. Xiao let herself fall back onto the bed and looked up at the ceiling above her, clenching the phone in her right hand. Working with Jin, still bothered her conscience and she didn't quite understand what he was trying to accomplish, or what good it would do. Why couldn't they just go back to the way things used to be? She knew that was impossible and it hurt her to accept such a truth, but she'll try her best to turn that around.
Suddenly the vibration of her phone startled her, causing her to jump, but she slowly picked up the device to see her late night caller. Xiaoyu smiled softly as the flashing contact picture was no one other that Hwoarang's, but then her smile slowly faded; "He must've been so worried. I haven't called him in a few days." She thought to herself before answering, "Hey."
"Xiao? Sorry for calling so late, but I was a little worried. I haven't heard from you in a while."
"Yeah, I'm so sorry for not contacting you. I've been so busy with s-studies and everything." She had been practicing her excuse to him. There was no way he could find out that she was working with Jin, he would definitely be against it. Not only that, but he would probably try to pry out of her the man's whereabouts which she couldn't give away.
"Oh, is that what it was? I figured that much, but my imagination seems to always get the best of me hehe."
The young woman smiled softly to herself. Hwoarang was always so sweet to her and would believe anything she told him, unless he knew for sure that she was lying. It pained her to do so now and she didn't realize how much she missed his voice until now, even though it's only been a few days since their last conversation. Xiaoyu could feel the tears within her eyes welling up, "S-sorry…"
"Huh? Xiao? Are you okay?"
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you worry Rang…I-I didn't mean…" The first tear had dropped from her left eye and then her right as she clasped her hand over her mouth. What was she doing?! Why was she getting so emotional all of a sudden? She had been only working with Jin for a week and a half and it wasn't like anyone had gotten hurt yet…aside from Nina.
"Xiao…a-are you crying?"
"I…" The words just couldn't come out of her mouth.
"What's wrong? Tell me what's the problem and I'll fix it right away. Is it stress over school work? You know I'd do anything for you, so please don't cry. I love you…"
Those next words spoken from Hwoarang just choked her up more as the tears flowed. She could feel her heart getting heavy as her breathing became a bit abnormal, her hand still covering her mouth so that he couldn't at least hear her sobs. "H-Hwoarang…"
"Baby, what is it?"
She could hear the concern in his voice, "I-I…want to see you…" After the statement, there was only silence between the two of them.
*knock knock knock*
Xiaoyu's eyes widened as she heard some knocking come from her front door and she slowly lifted herself up from the bed. When she looked down at the phone, she noticed that Hwoarang's call had suddenly dropped. Did she imagine the knock at her door?
*knock knock knock*
No she didn't and it seemed that the knock was a bit louder than the first time which meant that her visitor was in a hurry. Xiaoyu really didn't want to answer the door because she wanted to call Hwoarang back as soon as possible, but she found herself making her way to the door until it hit her. "Could it…no, he couldn't…!"
She ran the rest of the way and quickly put in her lock-passcode before swinging the door open towards herself. Xiaoyu became shocked as she looked into the eyes of the individual that stood within her doorway, out of breath as they huffed and puffed. She let the hand upon the door knob drop to her side as she could feel the tears that welled up in her eyes, yet again, roll down the sides of her face, "H-Hwoarang…"
The man continued to catch his breath as he lifted up his right hand and brushed it's fingers over her left cheek, wiping away her tears. Xiaoyu didn't know how it was possible for him to be there at that moment so soon, but she was too overwhelmed with her emotions to even care. Hwoarang's hand then cupped that moistened cheek of hers as she looked into his eyes and he gave her a soft smile. That smile of his always made her warm inside and she remembered the first time she started having these type of feelings towards the man that stood before her. He stepped inside the apartment as he closed the door behind him without even taking his eyes off of her; it automatically locked itself.
It became silent again, but there was no need to say a word because they knew what the other was thinking, what the other was feeling. Xiaoyu could feel the hand Hwoarang cupped her cheek with, its fingers moved up to intertwine with the damp hair behind her ear. The way his fingers passed through her hair, made her feel so relaxed to the point where she subconsciously closed her eyes. Hwoarang brought his face closer to hers. Without wanting to wait any longer, Xiaoyu met him the rest of the way and placed her lips upon his. The kiss didn't surprise him at all as he kissed her back passionately and brought her body, which was still wrapped in a towel, against his own as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Eddy Gordo just got off his shift at the bar and walked out onto the sidewalk, ready to cross the dimly lit street. His apartment wasn't far from where he worked so he had no problem walking home, as oppose to catching a taxi. While he walked, thoughts about what was discussed at the meeting he had earlier with Inspector Wu Long and Officer Brooks crossed his mind. There hasn't been any leads on Nina and Jin's whereabouts and that caused some frustration. Of course, that night, they didn't expect to be the only ones in pursuit of the woman; but for her to give them "the slip" so easily. It was like things happened so fast, though Eddy wasn't too surprised by her actions, the woman was indeed good and he warned them from the beginning. Not too long after she went up the fire-escape and made it to the roof, they had heard some commotion going on so they figured she ran into another pursuer. By the time the three of them finally made it up there, the only thing left was rubbish and some (what looked to be) ninja tools.
As the man made it to the concrete steps of his apartment, he stopped and sighed a little before continuing on. For some time now, during his walk home, he could sense the presence of someone following him. Though his skills weren't at the level of figuring out who exactly the individual was, he still had to confront them in case they were a threat, "Alright. Come on out, whoever you are."
Eddy then heard footsteps coming from around an alley a few feet away, "You've gotten better."
He knew exactly who it was without having to see their face, the voice alone was recognizable, "What is it now..." he turned and put his hands in his pockets, "...Christie?"
The woman removed the hood of her cloak and gave him a nervous smile. Eddy knew exactly why she was there and it wouldn't be any use arguing with her anymore, since he was working with the authorities now. She didn't respond to his question so he just sighed, pulled out his keys and turned around to unlock his apartment door. Once he did, Eddy just let his hand rest on the door knob as he grasped it, "Come in...if you want."
He then opened the door and walked into the dark room, hearing her footsteps coming up behind him. Stepping aside, he let the woman walk in pass him and he closed the door behind them, locking it.
"Thanks...Eddy."
He nodded his head before switching the light switch to ON causing the living room area to illuminate, "Have a seat." Motioning her to go ahead and sit down, "Want anything to drink?"
"I'm fine. Thank you." Christie sat upon the chocolate-colored love seat and untied the strings of her cloak that was around her neck. The man went to the kitchen to get himself a drink, but she doubted that it was something as simple as a glass of water. It's been awhile since she was alone with him like this, but she'd figured she had herself to blame for it. The last time they were, it was after a long day of training, right before the sixth Iron Fist Tournament. Eddy had treated her to some drinks at his place to get her to relax from pushing her body to its limit. They laughed, they joked, they had a good time and Christie ended up having a little too much to drink.
The man could always hold his liquor no matter what the circumstance, but she was totally a different story and she didn't really know her limit. During that moment, she suddenly found herself planting a kiss on him, which caught Eddy off guard...at first. Though her memory of it was quite faint, she recalled them making out on his couch and each of them losing some pieces of clothing, but then he suddenly put things to a halt. He had gotten up and left her there alone as she looked at him confused, but she would never forget the look on his face. It was a look of shock and disappointment, not towards her, but towards himself and he walked out of the room, passing his hand through his dreads.
The following day, when she could think straight, Eddy talked to her about what happened the night before and she was extremely embarrassed. He took the blame for not preventing the action and explained that such a relationship wasn't appropriate between a student and teacher. She didn't know what the big deal was, they didn't even have sex, but Christie understood what he was trying to say. Though she had to admit to herself, that she was saddened by it; all her admiration for him, when did it blossom into something else? After that incident, Eddy had distanced himself from her and to make matters worse in-regards to their relationship, she up and disappeared without letting him know a thing.
"You alright over there?"
Christie shook her head of her thoughts, "Sorry, I just spaced out."
"Back to Earth now?"
"Yeah." She slightly chuckled.
"Well that's good. Now, you came here to talk right?" The woman nodded. "Well, this time..." Eddy took a shot of tequila, "...I'm listening."

Anna Williams stood with some of her weight shifted to her right hip as her arms were crossed beneath her chest. She had been called into Kazuya Mishima's office and she could guess the conversation that was going to take place. The other night didn't really go as planned and he had been busy for the past twenty-four hours, so they didn't have time to go over what exactly happened after the boxing match.
The man was examining some files on his desk and she wondered how long he was going to keep her waiting. Why didn't he just "chew-her-out" now so they could get it done and over with; Anna didn't like to be on his bad side.
"Ms. Williams." He finally addressed her.
"Yes?" Though her body looked quite relaxed with a hint of confidence, Anna could feel it tense up from her nervousness.
Kazuya looked up from his files and laid back in his office chair, "Do you remember why I recruited you once again?"
"Because you can't do without me." She winked at him, but her little teasing didn't phase the man at all. Anna stood herself straight up and decided to answer his question seriously, "You need my services Sir."
"Correct." He nodded his head, "Now, do you remember what it was that I needed you to do for me?"
"Gain information about Kazama."
"And how were you supposed to gain that information?"
Anna lowered her head a bit, "From…Nina…"
"Funny that you know all of this and yet…you came back empty handed."
"It wasn't my fault! She attacked first and…!"
He cut her sentence short, "Did not I tell you that we were doing things differently this time?!"
She found herself shrinking back a little from the sudden raise in his voice, "Y-yes. I'm supposed to play the…s-sis…" It was hard for her to get the words out. "Sisterly-role."
"Correct. But now that you've gotten into your little fight, it's like you've taken two steps back and I'm very disappointed with that."
Anna felt her heart get heavy, "S-sorry Sir." She bowed her head to him.
"Start over. This time, make sure you two bond over the recent calamities that's befalling the both of you."
"Yes."
"You're dismissed." Kazuya waved her off as she raised her head to look up at him. He had already went back to looking over his files, not giving her a second look. Anna turned herself around and headed towards the door to excuse herself from the man's presence; it pained her to be a disappointment to him. After opening up one of the doors, she walked out of the office and closed it behind her. She sighed as she waited outside those doors for a while before she decided to continue on her way.
"Ms. Williams?"
Anna quickly looked up and saw a face that she really just didn't want to see at the moment, "Android."
"It's Jun." She could see the cyber-woman's vein of annoyance pop out on the right temple.
"Oh, I apologize, Jun." Anna replied with sarcasm as she smirked. Jun was then about to enter Kazuya's office, but not before Anna gave her some words of caution, "I wouldn't go in there if I were you. Seems like Zuya isn't in that great of a mood."
The android stopped herself from opening the door at the mention of the man's name made her palms sweaty, "W-why?"
Anna hunched her shoulders, "I guess I had something to do with it, though, he's always like that. But I've been knowing him for a while and I understand his frustrations, so I know what's best for him at the moment. Believe me, it's not a visit from a newbie like yourself."
"I'll take my chances." Jun ignored Anna's warning and entered into the office anyway. It kind of pissed the brunette off, but she knew that the android wasn't her major problem at the moment. She needed to put Kazuya's plan into action before it was too late, but how exactly was she going to accomplish this?! Nina couldn't stand her at all, they've been rivals over a period of years and there was no way that would change overnight. Even if she did feed her the G-Force plans, Nina would never trust her. Anna shook her head of doubts; she had to at least try, it couldn't be that hard right? She just needed to find her sister's weakness and use that to her advantage.

Paul Phoenix laid in his king-sized bed, but was nowhere near falling asleep as he rested his arms behind his head and looked up at the ceiling. He was still thinking about the conversation he had with Steve the other night and had to admit that he felt kind of terrible about it. It had been awhile since the two of them spoke face to face and it was nice to see his buddy again, but he ruined it with his accusations. Even though Jaguar was very certain that the man was lying about his not knowing this Nina Williams, Paul wanted to give his friend some benefit of the doubt. Questions arose, however, of why the young man became so defensive after Paul asked him about the woman. Not only that, but he remembered, right before he even asked Steve if he knew of her, the mention of her name made his friend tense up. Was Jaguar indeed telling the truth about him? Paul figured if it wasn't true, then why did Steve react the way he did, aside from the fact that a friend basically accused him of being affiliated with a criminal.
The older man sighed, "Steve…what have you gotten yourself into?"
*buzz buzz buzz*
All of sudden the sound of the building's intercom connected to his flat, went off which caused him to lift himself up from his bed. The sheets and comforter was only brought up to his waist; he liked to sleep shirtless with only a pair of lounge pants; usually plain in color. Today they were purple and he swung each of his legs on the right side of the bed so that he could stand up and go answer whoever it was visiting him this late at night. The com in his house was located right outside his bedroom upon the wall and it only took him five seconds to make his way over to it. Paul pushed the button next to the speaker he was supposed to speak into, "Yeah?" He yawned.
"Open up Phoenix." The sound of the voice on the other end made a wave of stress come over his entire body.
"Jag…it's late. What is it that you want?"
"Do I have to break in?"
Why was she always like that? She could've just said "please" in a nice and sweet voice like a real lady, but no, she always had to threaten him. Paul knew that she wasn't going to go anywhere, but he figured he'd give it a try anyway, even though his efforts would be thrown out the window.
"Fine. Give me a sec."
Paul buzzed the woman in and he made his way to the living room to see if there might be any "out-of-place" things. It was a bachelor pad and he was sure that Jaguar knew that, so there wasn't really any need to tidy up the place, besides the few pieces of sweaty muscle shirts hanging across his couch. Also, a few empty (more like 8) beer cans crowded around the legs of his end table that seemed to be a little out of place itself.
*knock knock knock*
Had she made it to his front door already? He was just grabbing the last can when he hit his right knee against the couch causing him to curse underneath his breath. Never did he have to straighten up his own place for company, though it's been awhile since he had a woman over; no matter how fierce she might be.
Paul quickly walked from his kitchen, after throwing away the beer cans, and made his way to the front door where his unexpected guest waited. Before opening up the door, he looked through the peek-hole and saw that it was indeed who he knew it to be. He sighed again as he unlocked the locks and turned the door knob, opening up the door towards himself revealing the woman standing right outside of it. In a pair of black skinny jeans and a skin-tight halter top covered with a black leather jacket. Black leather boots on her feet with six-inch heels; her hair hung down and it took Paul everything he had not to crack a smile of satisfaction on his face.
"Took you long enough." She snarled sarcastically.
"Well excuse me for already turning in for the night." He grunted as the feeling of satisfaction instantly left him and she walked passed him into the flat.
"Please...come on in." Paul replied sarcastically as he closed the door behind her.
Jaguar walked further into the man's living space and briefly looked at her current surroundings, "You don't have that bad of a place Phoenix."
She then turned to look back at him and noticed that all he wore was some lounge pants as his chiseled bare-chest basically popped out at her. "Not that bad of a body either. For an old guy."
He followed her to the living room, eye twitching at her last statement and plopped himself down in his comforter chair, "Thanks, I guess. Now tell me, what's the reason for this late visit?"
The woman smirked as she took a seat on his couch, "Looks like I'm rubbing off on you; straight to business huh. I have some news about some events that happened the night of Fox's match."
"And this couldn't wait till tomorrow?" He yawned.
"Not exactly. When you talked to Fox after his match, where did he say he was going, right before he stormed off?"
Paul hunched his shoulders, "Nowhere special, just a celebration party. Why?"
The woman smirked, "Well, you see, my sources have informed me that your good buddy Steve, didn't even show up to that party."
Paul raised his right eyebrow, "Really now?"
"And since then, he hasn't been seen; not even his own bodyguards know where he's disappeared to. But..." Jaguar pulled out a small disk from her back pocket, "...I think this might tell us where he is."
"So...he went M.I.A. since the night of the match? That doesn't make any sense, and what's on that disk that makes you so sure that it'll tell us where he's at?"
"Just let me play it and all of your questions will be answered."

Steve Fox finally decided to go home, away from Jin's hideout that he's been in for the past day and a half. He knew he would pay for it when he made it back, but he couldn't let anyone know where he was, not even his most trusted bodyguards. After the incident the other night with Nina, his line of thinking wasn't as put together as he thought it to be. She had become unconscious and Xiaoyu performed the basic medical procedures along with Kazama's help. It seemed to him that the two of them knew exactly what they were doing; what a great team they made.
Xiaoyu had reassured him that the woman was fine and that she was just exhausted from the whole ordeal. He stayed by her side as long as he could, which happened to be short because he received a message, from a source of his that people were starting to talk about him being nowhere to be found. Jin suggested that he should go home before the news got ahold of this story and broadcast it without a second thought. Steve was a celebrity and their team didn't need a lot of publicity because that would indeed mess up Kazama's plan. It saddened him to leave when Nina hadn't even woken up to reassure him of her own condition, but Jin was very convincing when it came to reasoning and thinking clearly.
Steve had taken a cab half-way to his destination while wearing a disguise and he decided to walk the rest of the way. It had been a long time since he walked anywhere and he was enjoying it, despite the hour of the night. After a few blocks, he recognized the next building, in a row of buildings, that he came across and it made him think of Lili. She must be so worried about him since he hadn't given her a call either, not even when he bailed out on the party. She might've been a superficial-type girl, but he knew that she was sweet too, in her own way and that she did care. Maybe he should pop in for a quick visit to apologize and have a little fun in the process.
He entered the building and passed one of the tenants who gave him a slight hello with him returning the gesture. The front desk worker was taking a nap when he passed by and made his way over to the elevators. Lili lived on the third floor towards the left far end; her family situated her here so that she could live on her own and gain some sense of responsibility. As he entered the elevator and those metal doors closed behind him, he couldn't help but smile as he remembered her face when she told him about her dilemma. It was annoying at first but then she seemed so cute, like a little puppy having a fit because it's squeaky toy was taken away.
It didn't take the elevator long before it reached the third floor and its doors opened up once again. Steve exited and walked down the hallway, past the oak-wooden doors and finally came across the door he was looking for. He then knocked on the door and shoved his hands in his pockets while he waited for his girlfriend to answer it for him. After fifteen seconds, he knocked again, this time a little louder as he whispered her name, as if she could really hear it. It wasn't until thirty seconds later that he wanted to knock again, but considering the hour, he didn't want to disturb any of her neighbors. Not only that, but he knew the girl could well be asleep, she did go to school and probably studied all night...pfft, yeah right.
Down to his last resort, Steve took his wallet out and opened it to retrieve the spare key to the apartment that Lili gave to him awhile back. He really only used it for emergencies, but he wanted to at least see her in person; a text or call just wouldn't do it. After unlocking the door, and feeling relieved that she hadn't put the chain on it, he walked right into a dark living room. He closed the door behind him and steadily walked through the place, being careful not to break anything like last time. Steve chuckled to himself, "She's going to be upset with me sneaking up on her like this."
Suddenly his ears caught the sound of something strange, but yet familiar. He slowly made his way down a small and short hallway up to the girl's bedroom door which happened to be closed. Lili usually never had the door closed when she was asleep and then he heard the sound again, but a little more clearly, a little more loudly. It was a type of squeaking sound, but it seemed like it was coming from the other side of her bedroom's door. To make sure, Steve place his right ear to the door and there was no mistake that, beyond the door, was where the sound was coming from. His eyes then widened, "It couldn't be." He definitely recognized the sound, it had to be from the springs within Lili's bed; she had always needed a new mattress but her recent lack in funds kept her away from fulfilling that obligation.
Steve slowly opened the door to where there was only a crack in it, so that he could see what was going on. What he saw shocked him to the point of where he couldn't move or look away from what was taking place. He could see his girlfriend laying on her back within that queen-sized bed, bare, while a masculine figure hovered over her body. It was another guy that kept moving the lower portion of his torso in a back and forth motion as Lili moaned in pleasure. Suddenly there was the squeak noise that came from the mattress being rubbed upon with much force.
Steve finally forced himself to look away as he closed the door back. How the hell did this happen? It shouldn't really surprise him right; with all the talk that was going on about her, but he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. He wondered what it was that he should do: walk away and break things off with her later or burst in there and make it known that she was caught red-handed? He never liked to humiliate people, especially a woman; dignity should be preserved to others no matter what.
He snickered, "At least only for those who deserve it."
Fully opening the door, Steve clicked the "ON" button on the light switch that rested next to the right seam of the door. "Honey, I'm home." He crossed his arms over his chest as a faint scream came from the girl's mouth when she saw his face.
"S-Steve?!" She quickly pushed the man from upon her and he fell onto the floor on the right side of the bed.
"Oh please don't mind me, continue. I'm no one but the guy you're dating."
The girl grabbed her white silk sheets and covered herself up as she stood up on the left side of the bed, "I-It's not what it looks like! We were just uh...!"
"Ouch." The young man who had been pushed over to the side stood up naked and rubbed the back of his head, "Why'd you do that babe?"
He then turned to look at Steve who was standing in front of the bedroom's door and became surprised, "Y-you're Steve Fox?! Oh wow, how lucky is this! That was one hell of a match you had the other night. Congrats on the victory!" The man started to walk forward towards the boxer to shake his hand.
"Thanks. But maybe you should make yourself decent before wanting to shake someone's hand." Steve snickered.
"Oh! Right, sorry!" The man made his way to Lili's vanity stool and picked up his boxers and jeans, "You know, I work at a little newspaper company and we've been looking for a big story to put us up there with the competition."
Lili was looking over at Steve, embarrassed and didn't know what to say, "S-Steve I..."
He had been looking at her the entire time and knew that she could see the hurt in his eyes, but he finally turned his attention to her companion, "Is that so? Well I might have the story that you've been looking for."
"Oh really?! Thanks that'll be awesome!"
Steve then turned to look back at Lili with saddened eyes, "Steve Fox and Emilie De Rochefort are no longer in any kind of relationship."
Lili became shocked as she felt her legs and knees get weak while her male companion for the night looked a bit confused, "Who's Emilie?"
"Use that, and your company just might be the biggest thing yet." Steve turned around to exit the room.
The man's face lit up with excitement, "Really? Thanks a lot Mr. Fox!"
"Oh and there's something that might throw some of the fame your way."
"Yeah? What's that?"
All of a sudden the man's face made contact with Steve's right fist that was too fast for any normal person to see. The man flew across the room and broke through the back wall and into the next apartment's living room. Steve smirked as he pulled his fist back and shoved his hands in his pockets; he was ready to make his leave now.
"Steve. Please...don't do this. That jerk doesn't mean anything to me...I-I lov..."
"I'll leave the key on the coffee table." That was the last thing he said to her without even giving her a second glance; he left the room and soon later the apartment itself.

Heihachi sat at the head of a rectangular-shaped table in a meeting room within his facility, while eight other individuals sat around; four on each side of the table. In the two chairs closet to him sat Xack and Bella, the other six chairs were occupied by the soldiers who worked under him. Heihachi gave Xack a nod, indicating for him to carry out the briefing he was assigned prior to the meeting. The young man stood up from his seat and grabbed hold of the yellow folders that was stacked in-front of him upon the table, "OK everyone, there's been an update on the Kazama case." Xack walked around the table as he passed out the folders to each individual there, including Heihachi and Annabella.
"What's these for?" Bolo asked, not even picking the item up.
"If you pick it up and look in it, then you just might find out." Katana rolled her eyes; she was situated across from him.
"Don't start with me bitch." He snarled at her.
In a split second, the woman had unsheathed her blade and brought the tip of it to the right sight of the man's neck, "What did you call me?"
Xack closed his eyes sighing, "Would you two get a grip."
"It's the updated information on Jin Kazama, like Xack had mentioned." Bella answered Bolo's question as she picked up her folder and started to skim through the files within it.
Bolo hadn't even flinched from Katana's threat as he nodded and picked his folder up, "Alright then."
As Xack sat back down, he noticed that the woman hadn't drew back her weapon, "Katana...can you please stand down so that we can continue."
She gritted her teeth as she slowly drew back her sword, but quickly sheathed it when it was in range. Between the six soldiers there, her and Bolo had to be the most hot-headed ones that wouldn't take crap from anyone. Pata was mostly quiet and kept to himself the majority of the time, though he was great working within a team. He was about five-foot-six in height and a hundred and forty pounds, with short, spiked-blonde hair. His eyes were hazel in color and his skin pigment was a peach color, being about twenty-nine in age.
Golok was five-foot-two in height, the shortest out of the bunch, and a hundred and twenty-five pounds with short shaggy dark brown hair. His eyes were a dark brown color and his skin was a light tan color; twenty-eight years old. Now he was more so of the jokester and liked to talk a lot; very outgoing personality.
Tachi had to be the oldest, being thirty-five in age and the most mature, with loads of wisdom. He was six feet in height and weighed about a hundred and fifty pounds as his long black shiny hair hung down to his waist; though he usually kept it pulled back into a ponytail. His skin was as white as snow, while his green colored eyes stood out in his constant peaceful facial expression.
Dao was the softest and youngest at twenty years of age, though his happy state of mind got on the nerves of his other teammates from time to time, including Golok. He could be kind of a pushover, but if pushed too far, you're in for a very rude awakening. He was five-foot-five in height and weighed a hundred and eighty pounds with short black hair in a buzz-cut. His skin was a fairly darker peach color than Pata's while his eyes were a shiny onyx black.
Bolo was the one who was impatient and liked things to go his way the majority to the time. He was five-foot-seven in height and a hundred and eighty pounds (mostly muscle) with wavy brown hair that was medium in length, but pulled back into a small ponytail. His skin was a high yellow pigment while his eyes held the color of dark blue; he was twenty-six years old.
Katana was a bit tomboyish and never liked to play the "feminine" role; she had the temper to match Bolo's. Taking "no" for an answer was never the way she liked to do things and she didn't care what others thought about it. She was five-foot-four in height and weighed a hundred and twenty-five pounds as her red-dyed hair was cut into a bangless-bob. Her skin was the soft light pigment, like that of milk while her eyes were the color of baby blue; she was twenty-five years old. The woman cupped her hands together and placed them on the table as she gave out a little sigh.
"Cooled off yet?" Xack asked her.
"Whatever." was the only thing she said.
He nodded as he continued, "If you would look into your folders, you will notice that new photos and information have been added to the previous data. We have Ms. Bella to thank for this."
Annabella smiled in his direction, "It was nothing, easy as pie."
"Now that we can, without a doubt, say that the brat is back, it's time to start planning our next few moves." Heihachi spoke up.
"What moves do you have in mind?" Tachi asked his employer.
"First, we need to figure out what he's planning exactly, but something tells me that getting that bit of information isn't going to be as easy as we think." Heihachi leaned back in his chair.
Bella added, "That's for sure. I've seen the strength of his assassin and she's good, though if cornered, she might not be that big of a threat. I'm sure that I can take her alone, if you let me, Heihachi." She turned to give the man a smirk.
"Yeah, right." he replied, not even giving a glance her way. He then leaned forward, "What we need is someone on the inside."
"The guy only has three lackeys right? I don't see why we don't just storm the place." Bolo leaned back in his chair bored.
"We don't know where that is yet you idiot." Katana said.
Xack shook his head, "We can't be too sure if that's the only people that he has. From what I hear, Kazama might still have loyal men that reside in the G-Force."
Heihachi then snickered, "That foolish son of mine never knows when to single out those who are on his side, from those of the ones on the enemy's."
"What about the girl?" Bella examined a black and white photo of Ling Xiaoyu.
"She's cute, what about her?" Golok spoke.
Katana read a passage under her profile, "It says here that she is a very close friend of Kazama and has been known to harbor some strong feelings for him. But she's always been on the opposing side, wanting to help her friend better himself and come to grips with the good in him."
"We can use that to our advantage right?" Tachi replied.
Bella hunched her shoulders, "We could, but I wouldn't be a hundred percent sure about the outcome of that plan. The girl's a sucker for Jin and if he could've convinced her to get on his side, I doubt she'll screw him over."
Heihachi rubbed his temples, "That annoying brat."
"What about the other one then?" Bolo suggested.
"The boxer?" Dao raised his right eyebrow.
The man shrugged his shoulders, "Sure why not, it says that he's always been the good guy too right?"
"Not exactly. He's always been neutral, at least until he started teaming up with his mother to commit certain assassinations around the globe." Tachi exclaimed.
"His mother?" Bolo became a bit more interested in the conversation.
Katana sighed with annoyance as she replied, "Read further, the hired assassin by Kazama, she's also the mother of that boxer guy."
"No way." Golok laughed.
"How's that even possible? She looks about my age." Bolo looked over Nina's photo not convinced.
"Apparently there was a special project held by the Mishima Zaibatsu that held her and her sister in a cryosleep." Tachi spoke.
"Wait, things like cryosleep really exist?" Dao asked surprised.
"Can we get back onto the subject at hand please?" Xack rubbed his temples a bit frustrated at the turn of the conversation.
"Seems like he has a girlfriend, and she's a cutie too." Golok smiled, "I just got an idea, since he likes pretty faces, why don't we dress Katana up and send her his way and..."
"No way in hell." The woman cut his sentence short and shot daggers at him with her eyes.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea..." Xack thought to himself. Suddenly Bolo started to laugh which caught everyone's attention. "What's so funny?" Xack asked.
"Are you serious? What guy in his right mind would be attracted to her?"
Katana grinned, "As much as I would like to cut you into pieces right now, I won't, because there's no way I'm going to go and woo some conceited jock."
"I could do it." Bella winked at Xack, at least until the laughter of Heihachi grasped all of their attention. "Now, what's so funny?"
"Bella, Bella, Bella...what would a young buck want to do with a piece of work like yourself. Just shut up and stay put."
Golok held in his burst of laughter as he chuckled. Bella grinned at the man, a little annoyed, "What's wrong? Are you afraid that that young-buck will sweep me off my feet and take me away from you?"
Xack spoke, "Now hold on, who was saying anything about wooing someone? I just said that using Katana was a good idea, not necessarily meaning that she had to get involved with Steve Fox."
"Really?" Everyone in the room, including Heihachi replied a bit confused.
Xack sighed, "Can we please stay on the same page. Yes, Fox has a weakness for a pretty face and that's all we need to show him, so as for him to look our way. Katana has the best undercover skills..."
Bella cut him off, "Uh, correction, I have the best undercover skills."
Katana rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I bet."
"Yes you do, but unfortunately we need you here by Heihachi's side." Xack agreed. "But if we can get Fox to trust a little in Katana, to a point where she can join their little club, then we'll have our inside man."
"And how long will that take." Heihachi leaned back in his chair.
Katana slammed her hands on the table and stood up, "Don't I get a say in this?!"
"No." Bolo slyly grinned across at her.
"Aw come on Katana, you're the best for the job." Dao gave her a thumbs up and smiled.
"You'll get to work those feminine skills you were originally born with." Golok laughed.
"Katana." Everyone turned to look at Heihachi who called out to the woman and held a serious look on his face. "As much as I hate to wait things out...I have to agree with Xack on the matter of having someone on the inside to gather information on Jin's planning. The fact that you're being the one picked for such a task and carrying it out in a manner you don't agree with, is indeed troublesome. So, instead of it being demanded of you, I'm asking you personally...will you take up the responsibility of this mission?"
The woman lowered her head, a bit aggravated by the idea still, "Sir...I..."
"Unless..." Their leader leaned forward and glared at her, "...you tend to defy me?"
"N-No Sir!" Katana quickly responded as she felt her skin crawl by the tone in his voice, "I-I'll be more than willing to take the mission." She forced a smile.
Heihachi then smirked, "Smart choice. You are all dismissed...except for you, Annabella."
"Please take the folders with you and continue to read through the new information that was provided. Katana you will come with me and we'll start to go over Steve's file and the plan of getting you close to him." Xack said as everyone stood, but the seven of them walking out towards the exit.
"Great." The woman folded her arms beneath her chest as they left the room, she followed behind him.
As Bella and Heihachi stood in the meeting room, alone now, she outstretched her arms above her and yawned, "I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out."
All of sudden she felt a sharp pain coming from her neck as Heihachi grasped it and slammed her up against the nearest wall of the room. Bella's eyes widened as he held her by her neck and squeezed his left hand around it as she brought both of her hands to his wrist. He then brought his face closer to hers and spoke, "If you ever suggest anything like that again, I will end you."
Her eyes widened then relaxed as she happened to pass a slight grin across her face until Heihachi released his grip. As soon as he did, their lips clashed, without even giving her anytime to catch her breath from the sudden assault. The woman didn't complain as she kissed the crazed man passionately, digging her nails within his exposed muscular arms.
