Christel could feel the Chrysallid pull her back onto her feet once the violent shaking had stopped but suddenly hear some kind of alarm blaring. "What's that sound? Is there an enemy attack?" Christel asks thinking about the aliens needing to prepare to attack and be assigned to UFOs by the Commander. "Christel, the Etheral has sent aliens here. Its a base attack. You two, take the human somewhere safe to the back of the base" The Sectoid Commander says in an assertive tone then running out the room. "Come on human, the control room should be a safe area" The Viper says moving out the room with Christel following behind the Viper while feeling the Chrysallid keeping hold of her. Christel walks into the Sectoid Commander's Control Room looking around seeing they are the only beings in the room.
"This room is the most secure human, you will be safe in here now" Christel hears the Viper says while she walks over to what looks like the aliens computers which the text seems to suddenly be in English human language. "Huh? Do you speak English?" She asks feeling confused that the computers were seeminly in a human language. "What's that human?" The Chrysallid asks sounding very confused making her think if she has been somehow implanted to be able to read the aliens' language. "You shouldn't really use that human, only the Commander knows how to operate that" The Chrysallid also says making Christel think she could use it to help the entire team. "We should use this though, it could really help us manage to defend this place" She says looking at them who were by the door they entered the room from. "Human I dont know if it is a good idea to do that" The Viper then says sounding worried making Christel feel a bit doubtful about the possibility of saving the base from being taken over. Christel started to push some keys into the Sectoid Commander's computer to see what she could find in the computer that would be deemed useful.
"Wait, I think I just discovered how they managed to get in here" Christel says feeling surprised to find what the enemy have done to gain access. "Your base defences are not operating at all, almost like they have been switched off" She says making her have flashbacks when the Sectoid Commander crashed the UFO she was on board with and it said about the inoperable defences. "Switched off defences, there is no way that is possible. How is that even possible?" The Chrysallid then says as Christel sees it approach her. "Well you see here. The defence systems are all marked off, so it must mean the enemies managed to disable it so their UFO ships didnt get attacked or someone here turned them off on purpose" She says feeling there is no other possible way the base's denfence systems did not stop the enemies attacking the base. "We need to ask the Commander about this then" The Viper then says but Christel then heard sounds of banging coming from the door they entered the room. "What was that? Is someone trying to break the door down?" Christel says feeling worried about the possibility since she does not have her Plasma Sniper Rifle or her father's armour. "Human, get yourself into cover, we will make sure you stay alive now!" Christel could here the Viper say while Christel runs away from the computer and kneels down by some steps behind the computer. She kept her head above the step to see what was happening by the door where the Viper and Chryssalid were looking ready to attack. She felt something touch her shoulder making her turn around in suprise but saw it was the Mechtoid she met before the assult. "It's you, how did you get in here?" She says surprised to see the Mechtoid in the Commander's room. "I got into the room from the other side of the base, they have brought of aliens here and this base is barely surviving against them" The Mechtoid says making Christel feel worried about the potential of defeat from this base attack. "The human found out how they were able to get past the defences, they have been deactivated so the base had been exposed" The Viper says but Christel noticed something behind the Mechtoid, some kind of weapon but she quickly recognise what it was.
"Hey you have the human's weapon there" The Chrysalid says as Christel sees it approach both of them. "I found it in the storage area and I knew the human would be defenseless without it" The Mechtoid says as Christel sees it take her Plasma Sniper Rifle off it and placed it on both arms which was the Mechtoid's weapons. Christel takes her weapon off the Mechtoid's arms and puts the strap of her weapon around her. "Thanks for finding it, but where is my armour, was it there at all?" She asks wondering what had happened to her father's psi armour she had been wearing in combat. "It wasn't there, maybe it was taken by the Commander or someone on our side" The Mechtoid says hoping it is correct and it hasn't been taken by any of the Etheral's aliens. "Look, I'm going to guard the other door, watch out for that door there" The Mechtoid says then runs out the door that it said entered the room from, she then turned her head to the Viper guarding the door her, the Viper and the Chrysalid entered from. "Human, what do we do now?" The Viper then asks making her think what should be done to at least help the Sectoid Commander and the team. "I think you should guard that door from in here while me and the Chrysalid here look into the computer, see what we can do to assist the team, who as that Mechtoid said. They are barely winning this base assault" Christel says thinking it will be safer if they stayed in the room rather than either her or the Viper guarded outside the room like the Mechtoid is currently doing. "As you choice human. But how are we going to use this computer to help the team?" The Chrysalid asks sounding unsure about Christel's decision. "Well, we should look what this computer can do and be able to use it to this team's advantage" Christel says going back onto the Sectoid Commander's computer to see the capabilities of the computer.
Christel starts pushing keys on the computer to see what each did or showed on screen to her and the Chryssalid. She pressed a key then sees on screen seeing aliens in a room that appears yellow, like in a different type of UFO she hasn't seen yet. "Hey human, what you doing here? What is going on?" She could hear the alien say through the screen. "Are you in some serious trouble here?" The alien says then she realises that this is the voice of this Gillman that managed to communicate in her head. "No really, the base is under attack" She says thinking that the Gillman doesn't already know about that information. "What? The Ethereal sent aliens to assault you lot, how did the aliens get past the defences there?" The Gillman says sounding very surprised like it didn't know what was happening. "Me and a couple aliens are in the Commander's room but I don't know where are all the attacks are happening, is there any way you can help us?" She asks hoping these aquatic aliens could help her in this situation. "I can't guarantee this but if we can connect the T'Leth network to Cydonia, just maybe we can put up what is happening, just hang in there alright?" It says then the reptilian human like alien disappeared off the screen then Christel turns her head to the Chryssalid. "What now human?" The Chrysalid asks looking at Christel. "We better wait to see if they could show us a map of the place and where they are. I'm worried they're going to try get in here" She says feeling like the attack is because they might want to capture her again and she may not be saved a second time. She sits down on the floor with her hands over her head trying to think about what if the Gillman cannot help her. She could then hear the reptilian's voice making her remember the implant to communicate. "Human, I have managed to get the map you wanted, I will get it to your screen so you can see what is happening in the base. I wish you and your allies good luck in this fight for survival here" It says then the Gillman's voice fades as she looks at the computer again.
