Christel could now see the map that the aliens from T'Leth and notices a series of red and green dots. She could see three red dots together on the map where the Commander's room is which must mean they represent her, the Chrysalid and the Viper. "Hang on, if that is us here together on this map. Where is the Mechtoid gone?" She asks surprised to see what is missing turning her head to the Chrysalid. "That's a good question human. I think there is a chance he walked away from the door" The Chrysalid says making Christel think if the Mechtoid is actually still alive. "Look, I'm going to take a look out the door. Keep an eye on that screen for anything" Christel says walking to the door the Mechtoid left the Commander's room from. "Human, please don't go far away. We don't want them to take you away or kill you" She could hear the Viper say sounding worried. Christel looks at the snake like alien by the other door the three of them. "Don't worry, I'm just going to open the door and see what is down the hallway" She says then opens the door to see what she could see.
She could see on the walls of the hallway alien blood and signs of alien gunfire. Christel put her head to the left side of the wall to see if she could hear anything nearby. She could immediately hear signs of gunfire sounding faint but then it quickly started to get louder and louder. She runs back into the room closing the door behind her. "I can hear them shooting nearby. I think they are going to end up coming in here" She says getting her Plasma Sniper Rifle ready for any of the enemies to get into the room. "They're nearby human? You think they will be close on this side?" She hears the Viper ask while Christel looks on the screen to see if there were any green dots nearby the Commander's room. She could see some green dots in nearby rooms that lead to the same hallways the Commander's room ends up. "Yeah they are. We are going to have to fight in here guys. So we got to be ready for it" She says thinking there is no way they will not enter the room. "But where is that Mechtoid then human?" The Chrysalid asks which Christel shook her head no. "No it wasn't there" She says wondering where it could've ended up.
"Uh, human I think I can hear something coming this way now" The Viper says making Christel become alert and gets on one knee with her Plasma Sniper Rifle aimed at the door. "Human wait, the map shows its one of our guys" The Chrysalid then says out loud but she could hear banging from the other door making her quickly get up and look at the door pointing the weapon at that door. She could hear the door the Viper was at open up. "Christel look out!" She could hear someone say recognizing the voice, the Sectoid Commander. She quickly turns her head seeing it and the Mechtoid also but also hears the sound of the door blast open. "Human get down!" The Chrysalid and the Viper shouts out loudly making her duck down with her hands over her head. She could soon hear sounds of gunfire but it quickly stopped as she could feel someone grab her arm. She looks up seeing the Sectoid Commander making her stand up. "Sorry Christel, didn't mean to panic you like that but it was too risky to get you to attack those Mutons alone" It says making Christel understand that it would've possible cost her life to defend the door alone. "I'm glad we found you in here Christel cause I know they are trying to get you again as well as take us all out" The Commander says making Christel wonder what could they possibly want with her. "Hey human, I see you got the map up here. That was very clever of you" The Mechtoid then says as Christel see it approach the screen. "Human, the door is gone, we need to guard it for enemy attacks here" The Chrysalid then says thinking it has a big point since she sees on the map that there are still enemies around the base. "Me and the Mechtoid will guard that door. You both keep Christel here protected at all costs" The Sectoid Commander says as Christel sees it and the Mechtoid head out the room while she looks at both the Chrysalid and the Viper.
"We should make sure the other door is protected since the Commander and Mechtoid are guarding there" Christel says heading to the door. "Good idea human. Me and the Chrysalid could do that" She hears the Viper say as Christel looks at it. "I think me and you should do it because we have weapons and the Chrysalid doesn't" She says thinking it will be too dangerous for the Chrysalid to try to do it's ability she remembers seeing in her father's book pregnating any living being. "Oh? What's wrong human? You seem worried about me guarding it" She hears the Chrysalid say as Christel turns her head to it. "I'm OK, I just don't want to put you in danger of getting killed really" She says feeling like there is no point hiding the truth. "You worried about us human? Why?" Christel hears the Chrysalid then ask. "Well with both of yous and the Commander. I guess since I've been here there's that bond I've gotten with the three of yous" She says unsure if they actually understand her feeling towards them. "A bond? Something very unusual to hear" The Viper then says as if it is an unheard thing from the aliens. "I can only hope you will see what I mean at some point" Christel then says unsure if they actually will understand this bond she is talking about. She soon hears the door banging that the Viper and Christel are standing. "Brace yourself!" She says stepping a couple steps back aiming at the door with the Plasma Sniper Rifle and to not be flattened by the door coming down.
Christel could see the door being blown open with what looks like smoke appear in front of her. She sees through the scope of the Sniper Rifle and sees some aliens. Similar aliens she saw when she was held captive by the Ethereal. She takes a shot keeping her eye through the scope to see if any of them were either hit or taken down by her shot. She can see two went down but she sees fires coming from beside her which must be the Viper shooting form her weapon that looked like a green and grey pistol. Christel fired another shot to get the rest of the aliens knocked out or killed before they either catch her or kill her with the Viper and Chrysalid. "I think we got them all now" She says lowing her weapon seeing the dust clear seeing the aliens in green suits on the ground and sees the Chrysalid go to her. "That was very well done there human. Maybe you were right to decide to take my place" It says as Christel looks at it nodding. "I will keep the door guarded here human" The Viper says as Christel looks at the reptilian alien. "Thanks. I'm lucky to have you to here in a situation like this" She says which the aliens look at her somewhat surprised. "Lucky? What you mean human?" The Viper then asks her. "Well you both are like my closest allies. More like a friend than anything" She says thinking they might have a better understanding. "A friend? Like you mean that?" The Chrysalid asks sounding very surprised. "Wow. I didn't think you would think that way after being taken from Earth to be here in Cydonia" The Viper says also sounding surprised. "Yeah I do actually, you both and the Commander have pretty much been there when I've been down in this fight" She says relieved to finally get her point off her chest.
"Its something that we never thought about here human, we don't use the term friends here" The Chrysalid says making Christel react surprised that the term friends doesn't exist to the aliens. "Christel are you alright here? We are under fire here" She hears the Sectoid Commander say loudly. "I got this human" The Chrysalid says then runs to the other door quickly as Christel looks at the Viper. "Don't worry about me human, I can keep this area secured" It says thinking that she should let her guard that entrance. "Alright then, let me know if you get into any danger" She says as she makes her way to the other entrance seeing lots of firing coming from the Sectoid Commander and the Mechtoid as well as from the other side of the hallway. "Human be careful" The Chrysalid says standing beside her from the entrance. "I think they are the last ones here since I just saw the map they are the last ones here" Christel says seeing the map showing so little enemies in the base. "Hey human! Someone is over here!" The Viper says sounding alarmed making Christel run back to the Viper seeing there was a similar alien enter the room, looking like a Muton but wearing in red instead of green. The Viper started shooting with it's weapon as the red Muton started charging towards it. The Red Muton gets right in front of the Viper and looks like it give her an uppercut punch. Christel aims at the Red Muton seeing the Viper collapsed onto the ground. She fires her weapon hitting the Muton knocking it onto the ground. She then runs to the Viper seeing it bleeding alien blood. "Hey we need help here. The Viper is bleeding here!" Christel shouts loudly holding the Viper with one hand over where the Viper is bleeding, which was its neck. "Human, it's hopeless for me. Its been an honour to protect you" The Viper says sounding weak already. "No. I will not let you die. No way I'm losing you here" She says wanting the Viper to live.
"Human, the base is now, wait what has happened here?" She could hear the Chrysalid say from behind her. "A Red Muton attacked the Viper here. We need medical help now before it's too late to save it" She says turning her head to the Chrysalid standing behind her. "Christel what is wrong? Are you worried of losing the Viper here?" She could hear in her head the sound of The Gillman. "Yes I am now. Is there anyway we can save it?" She asks then turns her head to the Chrysalid. "Hey can you find anything we could wrap around the bleeding wound. It might just help her" Christel then asks to which the Chrysalid nodded and ran quickly out the room.
"Hey, just talk to me Viper. Trust me it will help you live" Christel says keeping hold of the Viper with her hand on the wound to try stop the bleeding. "OK human, ask me a question. What do you want me to tell you?" The Viper then says weakly making Christel immediately come up with something she wanted to know about. "Can you tell me about that alien city in Earth?" Christel asks curious to know about it. "Well what I can tell you about it was that the aliens living underwater have lived there for millions and millions of years. What had happened was T'Leth was their Colony Ship and it crashed landed into your world because a solar flare caused it to malfunction and lose control of T'Leth" The Viper says making Christel look very surprised that it was how this alien city ended up in Earth in the first place. "The aliens were basically hibernating ever since and when that red light I think you saw lit up, it awaken them again so I hope it answers your question human. What else would you like to know now?" It then asks Christel turning its head towards hers. "Well I remember hearing XCOM has returned. The guys my father fought with before he lost his life in that Temple Ship. Are those aliens there in any danger of getting caught by them?" Christel asks feeling like it could be vital information. "Well I wasn't actually part of that war human, so I am not sure about it but all I know is they fought the aliens on land that last war so I don't think they would be able to fight underwater" The Viper says giving her some reassurance that the aliens in T'Leth would probably safe from harm by XCOM. "Thanks Viper. It really helps to know that information" Christel says trying to show her appreciation at the Viper to tell her.
Christel could see the Chrysalid come back with what looks like some kind of alien bandage on its crab claw like hand. "That was what I could find to help the would human" The Chrysalid says as she takes it and wrap the bandage around the Viper's wounded chin and around its head to hold it in place until it got treatment to actually heal it. "There you go, I know you can't talk with this on but its just until you can get treated OK?" She asks letting go of it gently so the Viper could lay on the ground. She looks at the Viper wondering if it can actually be saved now she has bandaged the wound now.
