A/N: We continue the Gaiden series and believe me I have plenty to tell.
This next one will be a double POV based on two of the original Rajita generals.
Enjoy.

Morpheous
(Cue Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe OST – Apokolips)
Planet Rajita. Our realm once a primitive and savage world was forced to evolve ahead with the times if we wanted to ensure our survival from the brink of extinction. It wasn't until the rise of our first Warlord that enforced these dramatic changes, which turned out to be for the better and for the worst. With the advent of our technology, we used our new tools to invader other worlds.
For millennia, our race's power was unrivaled and our Warlord, Lord Gyaos, was an undefeated force.
I wasn't alive during the height of his reign, but perhaps that was a good thing I didn't see the Empire's darkest and bloodiest days.
(End theme)
(Cue Mortal Kombat OST – The Dragon King Has Left the Building (Onaga's theme))
Has the day finally come? Apparently the rumor is now true. A new Rajita lord will be appointed. Lord Gyaos' ages old reign will soon be a thing of the past. In fact, the first warlord himself is a relic of an archaic age of our race. Once a primal and competitive race that fought over each like brutal savages, our minds evolved and Gyaos rose to unite us under a unified civilization.
However, I'm not sure so what to think myself about the appointed successor. Rumor has it could be General Ghidorah. If he's appointed leader, then he will merely continue the bloodshed that the first warlord brought to many planets we've conquered.
As for me, I'm serving my fourth term as a colonel of the Tenth Blazer Unit. With my credentials, I have the utmost confidence I'll be promoted to General status. I know General Ghidorah thinks rather highly of my work as colonel and sees me ascending the rankings sooner than later. If this happens, I'll be joining Generals Kuiiza and Kujiko respectively... however, I do confess Kuiiza rubs me the wrong way with his cruel methods of these 'secret experiments' on prisoners of war.
Regardless of my opinions of my superiors, I have my own duties to contend with.
(End theme)
"Colonel Morpheous," a half-reptilian, half-mammalian soldier approached me, handing me a hand held device. "The coronation ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow night. Looks like our lord has finally handpicked General Ghidorah to take his seat."
"So, it would appear the rumors are true, but this is happening on such short notice."
"It would appear our lord's final hours are upon him. His health has been slowly declining for several cycles. He's been way past his prime since centuries ago."
My face contorted with dread. "And yet despite being past his prime, it wasn't that long ago we just conquered the Centaurians and their home world. They were such formidable enemies and the most adamant we've encountered."
"Indeed, but I expect big things to happen under the rule of the soon-to-be Rajita Warlord Ghidorah."
I nodded and pressed a button on the device. My face conveyed shock upon reading the message sent to me. Can this be for real? I was thinking about expecting a promotion, but this soon? "General Ghidorah wants to me to see him along with Generals Kuiiza and Kujiko." This is surreal.
"Ohhh, could it be a possible promotion?! This is most exciting! You should most certainly accept! You wouldn't want to leave a bad impression for our new Rajita Warlord, now would we?"
No, most certainly not, comrade.
"By the way, Colonel Morpheous, I've also come to report we've received another batch of fresh new cadets at the academy. Thus far, there are to promising cadets that will certainly get your attention."
"Go on."
"Cadets Nagah and Rhea. Both have received the excellent scores and are the top ranking students in the academy. They've completed all their field tests and training regimes. Get this, Nagah's skills could make her perfect for assassination missions."
Wait, those two names do sound familiar. Did they not just join the academy less than a month ago? Normally cadets complete their academy training in under three months, but to complete everything in less than a month's time? I could use these prodigious talents and help mold them into perfect soldiers of war.
"Sergeant Gekko."
"Yes, sir?"
"Take me to see these two prodigal ladies. I'd like to witness them demonstrate their skills to me."
"As you wish, right his way."
As I followed Sergeant Gekko out of my quarters, all I could think about was seeing the potential these two have. It's quite possible one or possibly both will serve Lord Ghidorah as his future generals. One thing is for certain, I'm very excited about this.

Nagah
Hanging upside down, I opened my eyes seeing my partner, Rhea, and her smiling face. She and I are your typical looking green-skinned, dark-haired beauties amongst a race of lizard-like, crocodilian, and a bunch of grotesque reptilian folk that frequent this world. With my face dripping with sweat, I hung with my feet secured by gravity boots on a pullup bar. I was secured hanging up very high. Breathing deep, I just completed 999 crunches and about to break my record.
Several months in, I've beaten every one of my cadets in sparring matches and the obstacle courses. Only Rhea has ever tied me in matches and competitive games. In fact, my only spar fight loss was to Rhea, but only because she caught me off my guard with a leg take down to knock me out of bounds. She and I are far cut above the rest of those losers.
"C'mon, Nagah, you can do it! Your 1000 pullup and you'll break your record!" I heard Rhea's cheery voice giving me strong encouragement.
C'mon, Nagah, you can do this! The big 1000 and you'll be forever satisfied!
I gazed over my abdomen. It was a solid rock hard six pack covered with sweat. I hardly care if my body is toned. I see myself cut out to be a warrior than someone who lays eggs at home. I joined the Rajita armed forces to prove to myself and others that women are capable of fighting on the front lines. I was out to send a message to all those who looked down and frowned upon me.
My family was aghast I wanted to become a soldier. They never viewed their own 'precious daughter' fighting in wars where bloodshed and horrifying images were all abut guaranteed. That didn't deter me from joining. Once I left home, I never looked back and prepared myself the most grueling training at the academy. Already being a naturally gifted fighter and an arena gladiator, I breezed through my competition. None of the cadets were worth my time, except Rhea.
Rhea became my only friend at the academy and I couldn't have asked for a better companion. Our personalities and ideals were much different. While I was more merciless, she helps fellow cadets to improve their skills. She had feminine interests unlike me who didn't care for such trivial things. We're also roommates and training partners.
With the coronation of the new Rajita warlord coming up, today would be my last day as a cadet. Rhea and I are expected to graduate and join the forces.
Taking a deep breath, I secured my hands behind my head and pulled myself up slowly whilst my face contorted with pain. I felt the pain shooting up through my upper body and my abdominal muscles tightened. Gritting my teeth, my face turned red as I pulled and pulled forward until my head touched my feet. I jerked back and relaxed, letting out a mouth full of air.
"1000! You did it, Nagah! I knew you could!" Rhea and a bunch of my fellow cadets clapped for me in unison.
Breathing deeply, I let the sweat fall from my face. As my eyes opened, I sighted Colonel Morpheous amidst the crowd joining in clapping for me.
"Well done, Cadet Nagah. You certainly have earned a reputation in the academy."
Rhea gasped. "Colonel Morpheous, it's an honor, sir!"
"Cadet Nagah, could you come down?"
I never expected Colonel Morpheous to show up on short notice. I was expecting to see him tomorrow, but who am I to complain?
Unfastening my boots, I dropped from the ceiling and landed on all fours gracefully. I wiped myself with a towel and sat down to take a breather. Morpheous walked over and pulled out a small handhold device. He pulled up visual that had my profile.
"Cadet Nagah Jiguer," Morpheous addressed me while scanning over my full profile. "Says here you passed all your written and physical exams with flying colors. You and Cadet Rhea both received the highest scores out of all 500 cadets in this academy." He shifted his view from the visual and onto me, giving me full attention. "You two are very much expected to graduate and see action out on the field."
Sipping some juice to replenish my energy, I smiled in a cocky manner. "With due respect, Colonel Morpheous, you're telling me details I already know. I expect me and Rhea expect better challenges. How do we expect to get better if all we're put up against are these weak cadets. We deserve better."
"Do you? Are you sure?"
I gave him an irked look. "Yes, we do."
Watching him hand his device to Sergeant Gekko, Morpheous walked over to a white circle we call the Iron Circle. This is where we spar each other and the way to win is pushing your opponent out of bounds. This is an area where I excel. If I hadn't lost to Rhea that one time, I would be undefeated. I was surprised Colonel Morpheous even bothered to put himself in this situation. Was he trying to bait me into a spar match?
"I hear you even knocked Sergeant Gekko out of bounds a few times," Morpheous addressed me, standing at the center of the ring motionless and putting on a calm demeanor. He removed his leather coat, revealing an impressive upper body physique behind a black muscle shirt.
If I wasn't already in a relationship with Rhea, I'd call Morpheous attractive, but I'm not going to let his ranking scare me from a challenge. I've beaten a few sergeants in the Iron Circle. But, this is first a Colonel has bothered to dirty his hands with a cadet.
"C'mon, Cadet Nagah, show me the skills you picked up on."
Nodding, I put on my fighting gloves and stepped into the Iron Circle. "You're on, but don't get mad if I throw you out."
"Nagah, should you need to rest a bit?"
"I'll be ok, Rhea. I'm not going to lose this," I reassured her. I warmed up by popping my neck and stretching my arms. "Ah, ok! Let's get this over with!"
"You seem sure of yourself," Morpheous chuckled.
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" I shot him a grin exuding self confidence. Taking a fighting stance, I circled Morpheous as the other cadets cheered us on.
"You got this, Nagah!" Rhea cheered me on outside the Iron Circle.
(Cue Mortal Kombat OST – Liu vs Sub-Zero (0:17-2:22))
Clenching my fists, I dashed forward to engage Morpheous, throwing a right hand. To my surprise, Morpheous instinctively turned his head and parried my blow.
So quick! I thought as I went for a few more punches, all of which were parried with ease.
Is he toying with me?!
xxxxx
Morpheous
Our spar started with fast paced action. Despite having gone through rigorous training a few minutes ago, she still had enough energy to throw dangerous punches. Despite me dodging, I could still feel the wind of her punches and went on the defense parrying her blows. Now I'm starting to see why this young woman's skills are unprecedented. Just a Cadet and she's already giving me a run for my money! Her punches seemed to pack enough power to knock men like me out cold.
"Dodge this, Colonel!" Nagah went for a straight punch, which I countered by catching her fist. "Damn! You afraid to take a punch?"
"No, just making sure you don't hit me. You wouldn't want to bruise my beautiful face, would you?"
"Hah, you kidding me?! I intend to bruise more than your face!" Nagah shouted as she dropped down and went to take me down with a leg sweep.
I jumped up and landed barely near the out of bounds circle. I turned around as Nagah jumped up and caught me by hooking both her legs around my neck. She went to flip me over and slam me on the Iron Circle, but I lifted Nagah and slammed her down. Nagah rolled away and kept her distance from me.
She's got the moves most suited for an assassin. I studied Nagah's quick handed movements. Had this been a real mission, she would've snapped my neck instantly with her legs! It's no wonder she's beaten a few sergeants. Better take her seriously and end this!
Standing up, Nagah readied herself and raised her fists. She made a hasty dash for me and went for a kick. I evaded Nagah's kick and turned around folding my arms under her armpits, applying a full nelson hold. I pulled up, lifting Nagah off her feet and tried to force her into submission.
"Give up!"
"Never!" Nagah shouted as she kicked her feet up and flailed around. She landed a headbutt to my face, but she didn't stop there. A few more headbutts forced me to let him.
Nagah spun around and went for a side kick, but I quickly caught her foot. She used her other free leg, jumping up and aiming to kick me in the back of the head. I narrowly tucked my head from Nagah's kick and dropped her. With Nagah's rear sticking out, I shoved my foot on her rear and pushed her toward the out of bounds circle. Nagah planted her feet down, barely falling out of bounds.
"Almost had me, Colonel Morpheous. Maybe you should give up now?"
"Why? I'm just getting started." Although, to be honest, I'm surprised I'm hanging with her. She has better conditioning than I do. Yes, in addition to these quick-handed skills, she'd make a perfect assassin and quite possibly a general one day. But, it's time to end this.
xxxxx
Nagah
"You've got him, Nagah!" I heard my love partner, Rhea, encouraging me from the sidelines. I turned to face Morpheous and circled him, not taking my eyes off him. I'm ready to send Morpheous out of bounds! "Here I come! Get ready, Colonel!" I shadow boxed a few times to throw Morpheous off his guard, but I noticed he was undeterred. I quickly bumrushed Morpheous and went straight for his legs.
I folded both arms around Morpheous' legs and threw him over my head. Glancing over my shoulder, I gawked when he landed on his feet. I made a hasty dash and went for a kick to his back. Morpheous jumped over me as I stumbled forward almost falling out of bounds. However, the end of our spar came when Morpheous shoved his foot to my back and pushed me out of bounds.
It was over. I couldn't believe how quickly it ended. Rhea and the other cadets were stunned silent seeing me out of bounds. Morpheous landed in the ring center and raised his right hand.
(End theme)
"This match is mine," he announced.
Rhea rushed over to me. "Nagah, are you ok?"
As the reality of my loss finally sunk in, I scowled and turned around. "Why did you purposefully hold back?! If you could move that fast, why didn't you do so sooner?!"
"I was moving at my normal speeds. I merely turned your own momentum against you."
Clenching my fists, I spat out. "No, let's go again!"
"Sorry, but I have business to attend to, but I had fun sparring with a promising young talent," Morpheous praised me as he picked up his coat. "Polish your skills a little more and you'll go very far. In fact, our new warlord may already be keeping his eye on you. I'll be showing him our spar contest."
Upon realizing this, I called out. "Wait, you mean you recorded our whole match?"
"Yes, see this device on my left wrist?" Morpheous showed off a device that resembled a silver bracelet. "It doubles as a recording device. I'll be showing this to my higher ups. Rest assured they'll be pleased to know there's a cadet that can hang with the best of the Colonels."
"Wait, you never toyed with me?!"
"Just a little," he seemed to humor me. "As skilled as you are, I still bested you. And you're still nowhere a challenge for the generals. Generals Kuiiza and Kujiko would eat you alive on your best day, especially the latter." He genuinely smiled to me. "But, keep training and you'll become as strong as them."
I watched Colonel Morpheous walk off with Sergeant Gekko and lightly punched the ground.
"Damn! He's right... I might be the top class warrior here, but outside this academy I'm still wet behind the ears," I cursed my own arrogance. "If Morpheous could best me, I know I have to get better."
Rhea crouched over next to me and placed a towel over my shoulder. She leaned over nudging my cheek. "But, you should feel honored. You got Colonel Morpheous' attention. I mean, how often does any of the higher ups come in here and demand a spar match with a cadet?"
"Not often?"
"I see big things happening to you, Nagah. C'mon, don't feel down."
"Now that you say that, I won't," I rubbed my face with the towel. "I'll just train harder. He said I have enough skills to qualify as an assassin. And he sees me being a general one day. I know exactly what I want to strive for." I took her hand and let her help me up. Becoming one of the Rajita warlord's generals is my goal!
"C'mon, Nagah, let's go get washed up together."
I accepted her invite. "Ok, but you're rubbing my back."
"Sure thing and let's make sure to get rest for tomorrow's coronation."
Right, tomorrow is the coronation of our new Rajita warlord. Rumor has it General Ghidorah will be promoted. This will be very interesting. I do wonder what kind of future he will take our people. Sadly, I see more senseless warfare, but who am I to complain? I will be fighting in war and will be paid for my services.
One question does linger in my mind: Will my skills impress the higher-ups? If what Colonel Morpheous said was true, my future could be looking up.
xxxxx
Morpheous
Upon entering the quarters of our dying warlord, I bowed my head before General Ghidorah and Generals Kuiiza & Kujiko. The only one who even cared to acknowledge my presence was Kujiko, who's usually enjoys my company.
As I entered, I sighted a sickly pale green draconian laying in his death bed. Sitting beside him was a helmet with a mask and a red tri-crowned symbol situated atop the base of the helmet. Sitting beside him was his life support system, which was the only thing it seems to be sustaining his last ounce of evil life. This was the first Rajita Warlord, Lord Gyaos.
It's surreal to believe that this is the same Lord Gyaos, whose reputation was deeply feared throughout the cosmos for ages. If there ever was a personification of evil, it is Lord Gyaos. He was a being of pure evil. His goal was nothing short but the total conquest of entire star systems and would go through any means to achieve his goals. He has conquered quite a handful of galactic territories in his prime. He left nothing but a trail of bodies and pools of blood in the wake of his many conquests.
His power for the longest time was unmatched. That is until he attempted to wage war with the deities of the universe. Gaining a terrible reputation, he gained many enemies, including the likes of Odin of Asgard, King Zeus, and the Moon Queen Artemis. It took a combination of many gods to finally end Lord Gyaos' reign of terror and their combined attack dealt a damaging blow that to this day caused his gradual but slow health decline.
All the stories I would ever hear were from accounts of other soldiers who served under him. Lord Ghidorah was such a soldier. He learned to be as malevolent from Lord Gyaos. Lord Ghidorah was a true student of warfare and vowed to continue Lord Gyaos' conquest of the universe. I, myself, was only around to see the twilight of Lord Gyaos' age old reign. He was already a shell of his former self when I joined the rankings.
"Report," Ghidorah ordered in a deep and chilling tone. Just being near General Ghidorah was enough to keep me silent. His red eyes gleamed green as his face was hidden behind a mask complete with mouth guard and crown to complete a head piece of sorts.
"This selection of cadets look very promising. There's two in particular I would highly recommend we keep a close monitor on," I openly addressed Ghidorah, trying my hardest to conceal the tinge of fear in my tone. "I was fortunate to spar with one of them." He pulled out my device and immediately pulled up Nagah's profile. "Cadet Nagah Jiguer. Her scores are the highest next to another named Cadet Rhea Gargon."
Kuiiza interjected, speaking in a slightly condescending tone. "Oh, these are the prodigy sisters I've heard about lately. So, tell us, which one would be a more fitting soldier in war?"
"Nagah as she received better scores in her combat exams. Having engaged her myself, she's certainly suited to stealth missions. Most certainly she has the skills to be the best assassin we could have."
My report seemed to have gotten Ghidorah's attention as he looked over Nagah's profile. He shifted over to me as we briefly locked contact.
"Bring her to me at tomorrow's coronation. I'm formally inviting the soon-to-be former Cadet Nagah," Ghidorah said. "From this forth, she will be promoted to a Sergeant status."
"This is absurd! Surely you don't mean that, Lord Ghidorah?" Kuiiza was taken aback by his sudden decision. "Inviting a lowly Cadet who's barely even going to leave the academy? And getting a front row seat at your coronation?"
"Do you dare to questions your superior, Kuiiza? I can easily have you replaced and promote someone else to take your place as head of the science division," Ghidorah raised his tone, which struck fear into the cowering general.
"My apologies, Lord Ghidorah."
"Lord Gyaos won't be alive to see my coronation, but he has left me with a final wish that he asked me fulfill. I will make that announcement at the coronation ceremony," Ghidorah addressed us together. "Colonel Morpheous, make sure to send the message to Cadet Nagah. She cannot miss this or else she loses the opportunity to ascend in the rankings."
I bowed to him. "As you wish, my lord."
And then it finally happened. Lord Gyaos drew his final breath and the medics confirmed his passing at 20:09 hours.

Nagah
Lord Gyaos' passing spread like wildfire and it didn't take long for us to learn of his passing. However, I can't say I'm that sad to see him go. Surely I'm grateful he fought for conquest of the universe and his power was much to be respected. Outside of the propaganda, videos, and historical documents I've studied from the academy, I never personally met him. I just knew his best days were behind him. That was many millennia ago. His title was ready to be passed onto someone more capable, General Ghidorah... no, he's now Lord Ghidorah.
Tomorrow would be the funeral mass for Lord Gyaos and the official coronation for Ghidorah. All Cadets are required to go, but little did I know I'd be receiving an personal invite.
I awoke to the sound of my communicator going off on my bedside. Laying on my right was my partner Rhea, who was still sound asleep and surprisingly not awakened by the loud ringing. Sitting up, I rubbed my eyes and picked up my communicator. I could barely make out who was calling me up.
I answered without a second thought. "Cadet Nagah speaking here."
"Cadet Nagah? This is Colonel Morpheous. Do you have the time?"
"We're lights out here, Colonel."
"Do you think you can meet me outside your dorms?"
I turned around in my bed holding the communicator close to my ear. "Yeah, let me get dressed, sir. I'll be out."
"I'll be waiting."
"Nagah, is everything ok?" I heard Rhea inquire curiously.
Glancing over my shoulder, I just noticed both of us were asleep nude together.
"Just an important call from Colonel Morpheous."
"What does he want?"
"I don't know, but if he's calling me to see him now it's important," I quickly found my clothes; a green sports bra, black pants, and my training shoes. "I'll be back, ok?" I leaned forward, kissing Rhea's lips.
Rhea smiled seductively in bed, licking her lips. "Come back as soon as you can because you're a lot sexier without any clothes on."
I chuckled modestly. "You're such a weirdo, Rhea. Hold the fort while I'm away." I grabbed my communicator and headed out the door.
xxxxx
Morpheous
I turned around to see Nagah walk out the dorms. It was dark with no one else seen in our vicinity.
"Colonel Morpheous, I'm here just as you asked," she formally saluted me.
"You've been formally invited to be seated with the generals and colonels who will be present during the coronation of our Lord Ghidorah." When I announced this, I saw the look of bewilderment on the woman's face. I smiled. "Are you ok with this?"
"Are you kidding? I'm honored... I mean, yes I accept, sir!" Nagah replied. "But, how come Rhea wasn't given an invite?"
"She will have to remain with the Cadets, because you see... Lord Ghidorah has special plans for you, cadet."
"Special plans for me?"
I nodded. "You've been promoted to Sergeant ranking as of tomorrow."
xxxxx
Nagah
Sergeant ranking? Me? This soon? I could hardly believe this myself. Was it because of my scores? No, it had to be because of the spar we had earlier today. What do the higher-ups see in me? How am I different from the rest of the hundreds of cadets?
No doubt it had to be my skills and being able to beat a couple of Sergeants in combat sessions. Granted, it's quite unprecedented a cadet, even one as proficient as I am, can beat Sergeant-class warriors.
"So, will you accept or not?"
I clenched the invite in my hand and smirked. "I'll be there 11:00 hours, sir."
Tomorrow was the beginning of a new turn in my soldier life.
xxxxx
Morpheous
(Cue Mortal Kombat (2011) - Theme of Shao Kahn by Shinrei)
It was 11:00 hours. I was seated with several of my own Colonel-class colleagues. On my right were the generals, including Generals Kuiiza and Kujiko. Sitting next to me was Cadet Nagah, who would look out of place amongst us elites, but no her look of confidence said otherwise. She definitely felt more at home with the elite soldiers.
Nagah wouldn't be the only one to receive a promotion. After Ghidorah's official coronation, I was promoted to General status alongside Kuiiza and Kujiko.
Lord Ghidorah's big announcement, which he aptly called the Will of Gyaos, was obtaining universal artifacts: the legendary Silver Crystal, the Moon Heart Crystal, and the Romulus Source. The former two to my knowledge are artifacts wielded by the Moon Kingdom bloodline, which began with Queen Artemis. Her successor, Queen Serenity, houses these items. The Romulus Source is kept under high security by our sworn enemy, the Imperium Empire.
"In the name of our god Leviathan, I, Lord Ghidorah, will usher in a new Rajita era," Ghidorah announced as my mind was elsewhere. I turned eyeing Nagah in her seat. "With me as your lord, we will spread fear across the cosmos and ravage all opposition in our way! Once we've acquired enough resources, we'll continue the war for our Lord Gyaos and take all three artifacts. I declare war on all our major enemies. Among those we will destroy are the Imperium Empire, Asgard, and the Moon Kingdom!"
Ghidorah announced once we've acquired enough resources that we'd continue the war for Lord Gyaos and take all three artifacts. The Moon Kingdom would be our first target.
How do I feel about this? I don't feel comfortable with the idea of starting another war and waging war to continue Gyaos' trail of blood that has still left unhealed scars across the cosmos. The cosmic wars was still fresh on the minds of every veteran still on active duty. This would the first I would see active duty during a mass genocidal cosmic war.
However, since I value my own, I couldn't say no. Especially not to Lord Ghidorah, who is as terrifying as they came. No, I have a duty as a newly assigned General and I must fulfill my duties to their fullest.
But, there remains that shred of concern for the path of genocide my lord wishes to commit to. I truly fear those who dare to oppose Lord Ghidorah's galactic campaign.

What can I say? I'm in. If I impress Lord Ghidorah as a newly appointed Sergeant, who knows? I may be one of his top generals. I'll get to be on Morpheous' level.
"Congrats on the promotion, Nagah... eer..." Rhea saluted me. "Sergeant Nagah, sir!"
I lightly laughed at Rhea's comical show of respect. "Relax, we're off duty, Rhea. Besides, you're a lieutenant now. I say we should celebrate our promotions."
Rhea nodded eagerly. "We're going to party it up at our place! Let's drinks to our heart's content!"
"Right," I laughed modestly as I turned to my right and saw Morpheous call me over. "Wait here. I'll be back, Rhea."
"Ok, I'll wait for you at the gates."
I hurried over to meet with General Morpheous.
"How does it feel to get promoted several levels above your peers?"
"I'm... I'm really honored, sir," I stuttered, sounding nervous.
"You'll do fine, Nagah. Just remember to continue impressing Lord Ghidorah and you'll make it far."
"I won't let any of my superiors down," I vowed. "Just one thing."
"What is it?"
"You and I are due for another sparring match."
"Whatever you want, but I've got a question for you?"
I asked, raising an eyebrow. "What?"
"You think both of us have a chance?"
"Pardon?" I was taken aback by his curiosity. Is he implying what I think he's implying?
"I meant in another life time or if both of us weren't involved with military business."
I smirked coolly, brushing my hair back. "Sorry, but you got no chance with me. Our relationship will always remain strictly military business. Besides, I already have a date with some and she's someone very special to me. You probably know who I'm referring to."
Morpheous just smiled and turned around, waving me off. "I figured you'd say that. I'll leave you and Rhea to your date. You two have fun."
I couldn't believe it. He actually asked me out? Who is he kidding? My heart belongs to someone else. And that isn't changing anytime.

A few full interstellar cycles have since passed and the Rajita Empire under the leadership of Lord Ghidorah has seen drastic changes in laws. For better or worse, our Empire is sure to grow and sustain future generations. We've seen an increase in new cadets. Nagah has greatly seen improvement in her line of work that she was given another promotion. She finally became a General and works closely with me, Kujiko, and Kuiiza. I knew Nagah had potential, but to rise in the rankings this quickly in a short amount of time is mind-boggling.
My role has General has kept me extremely busy as I've helped my Colonels to monitor the progress of our young upstarts.
However, one day, I took a break from my usual duties and accepted Nagah's invite to face her in an Iron Circle match.
Once I arrived at the arena, I stopped to see Nagah standing in the ring center with arms crossed and with a serious demeanor etched on her face. Judging by her face, she was waiting for this day and clearly meant business.
"It's about time you came. What kept you?" Nagah asked, shooting me a calm and collective look. I noticed she already had her fighting gloves on. "Hope you're ready to lose."
I answered, taking off my black coat and shades. "Let's truly see how much you've stepped up your game, General Nagah."

(Cue Avatar the Last Airbender OST – Agni Kai)
We both fist bumped each other before our match. I briefly looked over to my right and saw Rhea cheering me on. I pulled my long hair into a hanging ponytail and shadow boxed a few times to psyche Morpheous out, but to no avail. Morpheous was every bit as focused as I was.
We both had the same idea and went for straight punches. To our surprise, both of our fists collided with one another. We briefly locked up and tried to pushing each other out of bounds. I lunged and grabbed Morpheous, surprisingly him by lifting him into the air and effortless tossing him over my head. Morpheous gracefully landed behind me and went for a straight jab into the small of my back.
I was able to feel the wind of Morpheous' punch and parried it with a right hand. I quickly seized Morpheous' arm and tried tossing him out, but he planted his feet down making it harder for me to toss him.
"Think you can throw me out easily?" He taunted me, quickly slipping from my reach and getting up behind me. He tried applying a full nelson, but I dropped down and jumped up planting a kick into Morpheous' jaw. "Hyah!" I shouted, kicking up straight up into the air. I sprang up and landed a punch to his gut and clubbed him in the back of the head, sending him falling to the ring.

Morpheous
As soon as I hit the ring, I sprang to my feet and instinctively spun around. I went for a spinning back kick, which she dodged. We exchanged quick blows until I kicked her back, nearly knocking her out of the Iron Circle. I made a dash for her and went to punch her out. Nagah parried my punch and swerved up behind me, driving an elbow into my back and sending me out of the Iron Circle.
I fell right out of the ring back first and cringed upon hitting out of bounds. As I turned around, Nagah was already behind me with her right hand glowing with energy. I froze as the glow shaped into an energy blade. Nagah smirked and shoved the blade right into my throat... just to pause with the blade several inches from piercing my throat.
Opening my eyes, I gulped realizing Nagah could've just ended not just our engagement, but my life. She offered a hand to me. Naturally, nearly having an energy blade driven into my neck, I was hesitant to take her hand.
I gave in and gripped her hand. She pulled me up with ease, displaying her brute strength. If I hadn't realized it, Nagah's gotten physically stronger. She certainly wasn't able to toss me around with ease during our last engagement.
(End theme)
"How did I do?" She asked with a smirk.
"You've certainly passed in my eyes, General Nagah. Why did you withdraw your blade?"
"Why kill the man who helped get me where I am today? Besides, we're going to be working closely as Lord Ghidorah's generals." I felt her hand grip mine. "We just need to keep away from that Kuiiza creep."
"That we can agree on," I smirked.

Nagah
Hard to believe I've made this far in a short time. I really do owe Morpheous, but while he show me the door I let my hard work pay off. Now as we speak, I'm not only one of Lord Ghidorah's Three Generals, I'm also the best damn assassin anyone can ask for.
I'm enjoying my time at the top and I expect to stay there for a long time.
Let's see someone try and take my spot. I dare that poor soul.

A/N: It's my return to writing first person POV since Summer Diaries (one of my personal favorite fics). This time a double POV detailing the two fan favorite Rajita generals. This ties in their relationship and how Nagah turned down Morpheous' date offer. It also shows Nagah's growth from a prodigious academy cadet to the deadly general we've come to know her as. It also puts things into more perspective about Nagah's gradual rise as the Rajita lord (who would've thought, but she's always had the gift).
Additionally, the previous Rajita Warlord before Ghidorah has his name revealed: Gyaos. I'm still playing up the whole Kaijuu nods (continuing the tradition of using Ghidorah and Gamera). I didn't want to give away too much because there may come a time I want to flesh out Gyaos' history at some point, but you get an idea of the kind of personality he is. There's no doubt where Ghidorah learned to become the ruthless monster he know him to be.
Thoughts? I'm happy to bet this done, because it also shows not all Rajita were 100 percent all for bloody warfare and there's a such thing as companionship (if Nagah/Rhea's yuriness isn't proof of that, lol).
Anyway, send a review and let me know if you wish to see more Rajita-related gaiden entries. See you in the next update!
