Meanwhile, at Ouran Academy, Lucy and the others had arrived to the abandon music room. It was at the far side of the academy's building and there was little to no students walking around the area. Tamaki had explained that he opened the club when he entered the academy and has become one of the, if not the most, popular and active clubs in the academy. Which Lucy found very impressive.
"So... this is where your club is Tamaki?" Lucy asked, standing in front of the door. Mori and Honey behind the 2 siblings waiting for Lucy to open the door so they could see her reaction.
"Yup. Ouran Academy's very own Host Club." Tamaki said proudly. "Now go on Lucy, open the door. Lady's first after all."
The younger blonde nodded and took hold of the handle. When she opened the door, the scent of roses filled the air and Lucy could swear the room was glowing for a second there. 4 other people were there doing their thing at their own part of the room. A man with black sleek hair, dark eyes and glasses was writing things on a clipboard. His stare was cold and Lucy could feel a shiver down her back.
A few meters from him were twin boys from what Lucy could see. They both had spiky orange pink hair, parted different ways and hazel with a hint of yellow eyes. The 2 were seated on either side of a girl in a boys uniform. She had short brown hair, which reminded Lucy of Lisanna's hairstyle, and brown eyes that matched her own. Lucy tilted her head and raised an eyebrow, wondering why the girl was wearing a boy's uniform.
"Oh the boss is here!" One of the twins said, when he noticed that the group had entered.
"About time, we were getting tired of waiting for you guys." The other pointed out.
The one with the clipboard pushed his glasses up and crossed his arms. "That's just how Tamaki is after all. But I would also like to know what took you so long."
"We were talking to Lucy!" Honey spoke up, to which Mori nodded. "Tama-chan brought her with him."
"The boss brought a girl to the club?" The twins asked in unison. "Now that's rare."
"That's the Hitachiin twins, Hikaru and Kaoru." Honey pointed out for Lucy. "The one in glasses is Kyoya, our Vice President and the one over there is Haruhi."
"Sorry about that." Tamaki apologized sheepishly, after putting his bag on one of the chairs. But then he noticed that Lucy was lost in thought and bent down to her eye level. "Lucy is something wrong?"
"Huh?" Lucy asked, coming back into reality. "Oh no, I was just wondering why Haruhi is wearing a boy's uniform. Shouldn't she be wearing a girl's uniform?"
Everybody froze on the spot once Lucy's words left her mouth. Then, as if wind rushed into the room, the twins rushed in front of Lucy and the others made sure the doors were locked. Lucy was thoroughly confused with what was going on and she wondered if she said something wrong. On the other hand, the brunette in question just sighed while slapping her forehead at the members' reactions.
"Excuse me, Miss?" The twin on the right, which was Hikaru, asked.
"Why on earth would you think our Haruhi is a girl?" The one of one the left, Kaoru, added.
Lucy leaned back since the twins were right in her face. "I mean, isn't she a girl?" The blonde asked. "Unless Haruhi is actually a guy then, I'm sorry for assuming..."
"No it's alright." Haruhi replied, going up to Lucy and separating the Hitachiin twins away from her. "I am a girl, but everyone at the school besides the Host Club thinks I'm a guy."
"I see, what a relief." Lucy said, straightening her posture. "I thought that I had offended you for a second there."
"I'm sorry for butting in but, who exactly are you?" Kyoya asked, walking up to the group. "I can't seem to see you in the student files, nor have I seen you here before."
"My name's Lucy Heartfilia." The celestial mage replied. "I start school here tomorrow."
"You're transferring here? That's good to hear." Haruhi said.
Tamaki then placed a hand on his sister's shoulder while flipping his hair with the other hand. "That's right, starting tomorrow the Host Club will have a new princess!"
It was silent for a moment, Lucy's little introduction sinking in the rest of the rich kids' minds. That's when something in their minds clicked. Kyoya already knew that he had heard of Lucy's name somewhere as well as having seen her somewhere, but not in Ouran. So when the pieces finally clicked, Kyoya's eyes widened slightly. Hikaru, Kaoru, Honey and Mori also having the same realization as Kyoya and looking at Lucy like she's an alien.
"What?" Lucy asked.
"You're that Lucy Heartfilia!?" Hikaru, Kaoru and Honey asked. "As in Lady Heartfilia of Jude and Layla Heartilia!?"
"You know of my parents?" Lucy asked, taken aback. She didn't think that her family would be known to people in Japan, seeing as she's from Fiore.
"Everyone in the rich world knows that Layla Heartfilia was a strong, independant and elegant woman. Any man would of been glad to know her." Kyoya explained. "You're mother made quite the impression whenever she was in Japan, even with my family and Honey-senpai's family."
"And Jude Heartfilia was known for being a great businessman. Knowing what would increase profit, benefits and so on." Kaoru explained.
"Whenever he came to Japan in the past, he influenced our mother's designs with things from his home country." Hikaru added.
"Tama-chan! That means you're the half-brother of Lady Heartfilia!" Honey shouted with astonishment.
"Mistukuni, not so loud." Mori reminded. "You will lose your voice."
"Way too blurt it all out, Honey-senpai." Tamaki said, shrugging. "But I was already aware that I was related to the Heartfilia's from my father."
"So you're telling me, that all this time you knew of being related to Lucy and didn't bother telling us that you had a sister?" Kyoya asked, Lucy taking note that he was writing something as he spoke on the clipboard.
"Boss! Why didn't you tell us you had a younger sister!?" Kaoru asked. "A literal princess at that too!"
"That's a low blow, Tamaki-senpai." Hikaru complained.
"Well, when our father divorced with my mother, she took me with her. I wasn't able to meet Tamaki after that." Lucy explained to the twins.
"Gentlemen, starting today we have a new Princess!" Tamaki shouted.
Haruhi chuckled while shaking her head and went to Lucy. "Well, Lucy since you're probably gonna be here a lot, please don't tell anyone my secret?" Haruhi asked.
"Don't worry, you're secret's safe with me." Lucy reassured. "And I never break my promises!"
As Lucy spent the rest of the day with the Host club and exploring the academy grounds while the Host Club was in class, she could already feel her spirit lift already. The Host Club was a refreshing group of people and they all welcomed her happily, despite the hectic revelation of her being a Heartfilia and being Tamaki's sister. It was also nice to hear that her family is well known even in Japan, it almost made Lucy laugh.
But, Lucy would lie if she said her heart still hurt. Though Ouran was refreshing and just what she needs, the Host Club reminded her of her nakama back at Fairy Tail too. They were just as rowdy and unique as her nakama and Lucy wondered how Makarov and the others are doing. She would have to contact Makarov later today once she and Tamaki return to the Suoh Estate.
Elsewhere, in a distant forest, a girl with long brown hair and dark blue eyes was walking from school with her 2 friends. Her name was Tohru Honda and her friends were Yuki and Kyo Sohma. Yuki had silver with a navy tint hair and soft indigo eyes. Kyo on the other hand, had bright orange hair and hazel orange eyes. Yuki was always calm and collected while Kyo would be the outgoing and angered easily type of guy. Tohru being the bridge between the 2 of them.
Yuki and Kyo were cousins and were both under the Chinese Zodiac curse, which the Sohma family had to live with until the curse breaks. Yuki being the rat and Kyo being the cat. Tohru, Yuki and Kyo all lived with Shigure Sohma, who was a novelist, their guardian and the dog. When the 3 entered the house, Shigure called them to gather in the living room. Tohru was the first to be there and prepared some tea while Yuki and Kyo came after putting their bags away.
"Anyway, what did you want to tell us, Shigure?" Tohru asked, after pouring them all some tea.
"Get ready, children! We are packing up and moving out of this house tomorrow morning!" He announced.
"I'M SORRY WHAT!?" Kyo asked, standing up in shock. "We're moving!?"
"That's right!" Shigure repeated. "Tomorrow morning, we're getting in a taxi and moving to the city!"
"You can't be serious." Yuki said, crossing his arms and shaking his head. He knew just how exaggerated Shigure could be, so it made sense of him to suspect the older man. "What's really going on Shigure? There's no way Akito would let us move to the city far from the main house."
"Oh Yuki, you hurt me so! You need to let loose and joke around a little." Shigure said, calming down. "But in all seriousness, we do need to pack our things. I have business in the city that could last a little over 2 or 3 months and because I can't leave you here unattended, I had Mitsuru temporarily transfer all of 3 of you to a school nearby."
"Which school is that?" Tohru asked.
"Why, the only prestigious school a Sohma could go to! Ouran Academy!" He replied.
"I'm sorry, did you say Ouran Academy!?" Tohru shouted.
"You know of the school, Miss Honda?" Yuki asked curiously, as neither he or Kyo had heard of the school.
"It's a very expensive and extraordinary school." Tohru explained. "Only the children from wealthy families and businesses attend there, unless you take an exam to get a scholarship. I had wanted to go as a child, but I realized it was too hard for me."
"Great! We have to go to a stupid school for rich kids!" Kyo said sarcastically. "Wait a minute! How were the 3 of us able to get in!?"
"According to Mitsuru, because you're both a Sohma and the fact that your grades were all an exception for the temporary transfer." Shigure said. "Your uniforms will be waiting for you at the place we're staying at."
"You're serious!?" Tohru asked shouting. "I can actually go to the school I had wanted to go to as a child!"
"But what if we transform?" Yuki asked, referring to their curse.
"Yeah, girls already try to hug rat boy over here as it is at our school right now." Kyo asked. "And considering that some of the girls at this academy are rich, they might do some freaky stuff to get Yuki."
"I'm sure you'll think of something." Shigure reassured carelessly. "Like the time Momiji went to your school."
"Fine." Kyo said, groaning.
"Now get packing! We're leaving tomorrow!" Shigure said.
All 3 teens nodded and retreated to their rooms to pack at least a month's worth of clothing for their trip. Yuki packed his clothes and necessities in one large suitcase, Kyo packed his clothes in a large duffel bag and backpack and Tohru packed her things in 2 roller bags. Then, after freshening up and double checking their things, the 3 and Shigure went to sleep so that they'll be ready for the next morning.
When tomorrow arrived, the 4 of them immediately went into the taxi van and made their way to the city. Tohru had already told her friends Uo and Hana to inform their teachers about their temporary transfer, just in case, and the 2 wished her luck and a safe return. But through the entire drive to their temporary home, Tohru thought about one and only one person. Someone she was very excited to, hopefully, see there.
"I wonder if I'll see her there..." She thought. "Haruhi Fujioka."
