-Episode 14: Sonic Boom(Season Finale)-

"Sonic?!" Sally said, shocked to see Sonic, who had just attacked Geoffery St John, who in turn shot the Hedgehog a glare of intense hatred.

"How...HOW?! I THOUGHT I KILLED YOU!" Geoffery screamed in sheer rage.

"It's gonna take more than that to put me down for good, Geoffery." Sonic simply replied, sounding more serious than usual, with Geoffery continuing to glare at him with unbridled rage.

"...Just one question before we settle this; Why the act? Why did you kill our friends?" asked Sonic, A question which Geoffery calmly responded to.

"The Freedom Fighters are the problem with this world. No matter how many dragons you slay, no matter how many villains you beat, it will never be enough for any of you. Death and misery will only continue, simply because you continue to exist." Geoffery explained, although it sounds like someone else speaking rather than Geoffery.

"What do you mean?! We're the ones trying to stop all of that! If you knew what kind of person Robotnik was, then why-" Sally interjected, before being interrupted.

"Because in my eyes, you are evil as well." Geoffery said.

"Alright, I've heard enough, Geoffery." Sonic said, before he sprints towards Geoffery and attempts a homing attack, only for him to grab Sonic by the leg and throw him through a series of trees, before Sonic starts dragging along the snow in a defensive crouching position.

"Sonic!" Sally called out, reaching out her hand to him.

"I'm fine! Just run!" Sonic called out back.

"Oh no you don't!" Geoffery said, before he speeded towards Sally, shrouded in a magenta aura, before being hit by Sonic, who sprints towards Geoffery and kicks him in the face, which Geoffery responds to by grabbing the Hedgehog's foot and throwing him at Sally, causing the Hedgehog to crash into her.

"ACK!" they both exclaimed, with Geoffery landing on the ground before walking towards them with a crazed look in his eyes. Soon after, Sonic picks up Sally, who in turn holds onto Sonic, before he sprints through the forest with Geoffery immediately giving chase by flying.

Meanwhile, Antoine and Bunnie can be seen fighting off the robots created by Geoffery which keep spawning faster than the two of them can strike them down. As the snow worsens, so does Bunnie's ability to both see and stay awake and alert.

"Whew! I'm gettin' pretty sleepy..!" said Bunnie, doing her best to keep fighting off the robots.

"I really hope Zoneek beats that feul, Geoffery!.." said Antoine, who is in very much the same boat as Bunnie. For a moment, as if time is slowing down, the two of them look each other, as if they are questioning each other as to whether or not they will come out of this alive.

At the same time, Tails and Rotor can be seen attempting to repair Nicole's recievers and life circuits, hoping strongly that they succeed and bring their trusted companion back, all while the snow continues to fall harshley.

Meanwhile, a blast hits a tree, which causes Sonic to drop sally and both drag on their backs on the mixture of grass, soil and snow. With the both of them screaming on the way down, and writhing in pain after the fact, all before Geoffery lands in front of the both of them.

"Give up! It's over!" Geoffery screamed, his voice becoming more deranged and distorted.

"You can't save anyone, Sonic! All your friends will die by my hand! The die is now cast! There is nothing you can do now, so stop struggling and accept that it's all over!" Geoffery continued, while clips are shown at the same time of Bunnie and Antoine starting to get overwhelmed by the robots, and Tails and Rotor seemingly failing to fix Nicole.

The camera zooms in on Sonic, who is seem taking all of this in as he struggles on the ground with Sally beside him. For a time, he closes his eyes and thinks about of the failures during his time with the Freedom Fighters, which slowly start to transition into the happy and triumphant moments. As this ends, Sonic begins to stand up slowly and looks Geoffery in the eyes with a great intensity, a drive to win. As he is standing up, he starts to speak, as a blue lightning starts to course through his body, with Sally looking up at him with her eyes widening in surprise.

"Geoffery...No matter how many times you knock us down, no matter what comes our way, no matter what tries to tear us apart...I will stay here and fight to protect my friends with every breath inside me! Even if the whole world turns against me...I'll still fight to protect them!" Sonic says, as the blue lightning around him grows more and more intense with every word being said.

"Sonic..." Sally uttered in awe of Sonic's speech.

"You...WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Geoffery screamed at Sonic, before a powerful blue energy bursts from the hedgehog, with electricity coursing through his body and his eyes glowing a powerful light blue.

"...I'm Sonic The Hedgehog, Protector Of Mobius." said Sonic, before he sprints at Geoffery at the speed of sound, which causes him to be sent back and dragging along the snow on his feet. Sonic then proceeds to blitz Geoffery for a total of 11 times, with Geoffery exclaiming in pain upon every hit.

"GAH!" Geoffery screams on the last hit, falling to one knee, breathing harshly.

"How...HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! HOW CAN YOU HAVE THIS POWER?!" Geoffery screamed once more.

"It's not that I have power, Geoffery...it's that you threw away everything you ever had." Sonic said, before he lands one last hit on Geoffery.

"GAAAAHHH!" he bellowed in pain, as the mysterious ruby shattered into pieces, causing Geoffery's power to dissipate and himself to fall to the ground on his back. At the same time, Sonic also powers down, falling to one knee in the process. At this time, Sally stands up and walks over to Geoffery.

"..Why...why am I so cursed...to live without hope, without a means to truly be...alive? After what I've done...is this what I deserve?.." Geoffery said softly, his voice still distorted and evidently departing.

"...I trusted you, Geoffery...With all that I was.." said Sally, who kneels beside Geoffery.

"Sally?..." Geoffery uttered softly, before coughing harshly.

"We gave you our hearts Geoffery...I gave you mine...And you threw all of it away for power...I can't even begin to forgive you...but...I don't just want you to die, because that means that you're getting away with all of it!" Sally said, becoming tearful during the last sentence.

"I know..." Geoffery uttered, his breath reaching it's end. He looks up at Sally for one last time, who leans down and kisses Geoffery on the lips for a few seconds before pulling away with tears down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry I failed to save you..." she sobbed quietly.

"Don't be...I failed...all of you.." said Geoffery, before his eyes go still and passes away, to which Sally reacts by breaking down in tears. Shortly after, Sonic kneels beside her and holds her tight as she cries into his chest, with the two of them laying in the snow

Meanwhile, the robots that Antoine and Bunnie were fighting can be seen disappearing into magenta cubes, simply phasing out of existence entirely. The two of them looked at each other and joyfully hugged each other in triumph. At the same time, Tails and Rotor successfully repair Nicole and she can be seen hugging the both of them tightly.

However, their moment of celebration was interrupted as they all look up at the sky and upon realizing that Geoffery has passed away, their joyful celebration quickly turns somber. Even with everything that he had done, none of them could help but feel sad about his passing.

Two days later, A service and a cremation ceremony is held for Geoffery. After laying him on the bed made of wood, hay and stones, the team light it up and stand somberly by each other as the ember burn away what remains of the friend they once knew. Sonic looks on in sorrow as he felt guilty about not being able to save him. Reading him like a book, Sally sympathetically places her hand on his shoulder. The remainder of this scene is the Freedom Fighters looking on at the embers burning away.

One month later, a small man is seen putting together a robot that seems to worryingly resemble Sonic. The final shot is him laughing maniacally as a Hedgehog-like shadow is seen on the wall genuflecting on one knee.
