When the next day had arrived, the hosts, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo all met up at the Suoh Estate where the fairies and Suoh siblings waited for them at the front of the building. When Lucy and Tamaki led the 4 girls to the estate yesterday night, the Fairy Tail mages were beyond astonished by just how large it was. Lucy laughing at how they all looked around the exterior and interior of the manor.
Once they entered, Shima had escorted the fairies to their rooms which were right across from Lucy so there wouldn't be trouble in looking for the blonde Suoh. Once they were settled, Lucy gathered them in her room to explain that they should be careful with magic during their stay and that they should only use it when necessary. Also mentioning the fact that only Tohru and Haruhi currently only know of the existence in magic. To which the girls understood fully.
Anyway, once everyone had gathered with their things, they placed their things in the trunk and boarded the limo towards Kyoya's private beach. The minute they arrived, Mira and Juvia ran out of the limo and took in the late summer breeze. Everyone else following behind wearing sunhats to prevent the sun from going to their eyes. The boys, excluding Kyoya who simply wore a light top, were already wearing their swimming trunks so they simply took off their shirts.
The girls on the other hand had to change in change room next to Kyoya's villa. Wendy wore a simple blue and red spotted one piece suite that had a frilly red skirt at the waist. Carla had a pink one piece and had a donut floater around her waist. Juvia wore a bikini that was composed of a nice dull blue with white spots and her bottom having a pastel light blue frill at the waist like Wendy's while Mira's was a simple plain white bikini.
Lucy wore an aqua green bikini that had frills at the hem of the top and bows on both sides of the bottom. Tohru wore a modest one piece swimsuit that was a nice yellow cream colour and around her waist was a pale pink donut floater. Meanwhile Haruhi, as usual, didn't want to go swimming and sat out to enjoy the summer breeze. She sat on one of the beach chairs, that were brought out for everyone, and was covered in the shadow of the beach umbrella.
When Lucy and Tohru saw this, they immediately went towards the brunette and tilted their heads. "Haruhi! Don't tell me you're not gonna join us in the water!" Lucy said.
"Sorry Lucy, but enjoying the summer breeze is what I'm here for." Haruhi said as she relaxed on the chair, her eyes closed while the breeze would blow her hair softly.
"But Haruhi, we used to go swimming whenever we went to the beach as children!" Tohru protested, getting the attention of 3 certain hosts.
"What are you guys talking about?" Wendy asked, holding Carla as she walked up to the 3 girls.
"Haruhi won't go swimming with us!" Lucy complained.
"Eh?" Juvia asked, coming into the conversation with Mira beside her. "But Juvia wants to go into the water with everyone."
"I overheard you say that Haruhi had gone swimming when you were younger, Tohru." Mira said, with a pleasant smile on her face. "What was Haruhi back then?"
"You guys should've seen her." Tohru said with a nostalgic look on her face. Haruhi used to have long hair back then and when we went to the beach with our families, she would be wearing the cutest pink swimsuit."
Haruhi immediately covered Tohru's mouth before the brunette would say anything further. "Okay Tohru, no need to go into detail." She said, looking towards the boys from the corner of her eye. "I can feel a chill down my spine just knowing those 3 idiots are listening."
"Don't worry Haruhi." Mira reassured, gesturing to Lucy, Juvia and herself as a dark aura suddenly surrounded them. "If those boys try anything that's not quite appropriate, we'll deal with them."
"You make it sound like you're going to hurt the poor boys." Carla said shaking her head.
"Don't worry they're always like that when it counts." Wendy said, giggling a bit.
"Just what are Lucy's friends!?" Tamaki, Hikaru and Kaoru thought in unison as they went farther away from the group of girls, fearing for their lives.
"Hey Wendy! Carla!" Honey called from the rocky area of the beach. "You wanna help me and Takashi find some seashells!?"
"Sounds interesting." Carla commented.
Wendy nodded before bowing to the girls and running to Honey and Mori. "We're coming, Honey!"
"We're going to ask Kyoya if their are any surf boards for us to use." Juvia pointed out as she and Mira nodded to each other and ran to the Vice President, who was also talking to Yuki and Kyo, before running back towards the villa to most likely get surf boards.
"Hey girls!" Kaoru called. "Which one of you can play volleyball!? The boss needs a partner!"
"I'll play!" Lucy shouted back, raising her hand. "Suoh siblings versus Hitachiin siblings!"
"Alright then!" Hikaru said as Hikaru ran to help Tamaki with the net. "Hurry up, Lucy! We wanna play right away!"
"Coming!" She said before turning back to the 2 cousins and placing her belt, that carried her whip and keys, around her waist. "Well, that's my cue. See ya!" Then, the blonde turned and ran to Hikaru since he was standing nearby waiting for her.
"Do you want me to stay with you?" Tohru asked Haruhi.
"Nah." The latter replied. "Wouldn't want to rain on your fun. I'm going to take a nap anyway, so have fun with the others."
"Alright then, if you say so." Tohru said as she ran to where Yuki and Kyo was. Kyoya talking to her for a few moments before handing her a camera and pointed to were Honey, Mori, Wendy and Carla was. Then, the girl ran to the rocky area and began to take pictures as Haruhi fell asleep.
Meanwhile, with the Suoh sibings and the Hitachiin twins, what started out as a playful volleyball game soon turned out to be an intense competition to see which sibings have the best teamwork. Sure, all 3 hosts were very well fit and are good in sports considering how toned they are and such. However, Lucy had the upper hand as going on several jobs and having to run from enemies before giving a counterattack gave her a boost of stamina.
It was now match point for the Suoh siblings and Tamaki had just bumped the ball in the air. "Lucy!" He said as the ball was suspended in the air.
"Got it!" The younger blonde replied. She jumped as the ball slowly descended and smacked it to the ground, past Hikaru and Kaoru, the ball just barely touching the line that would consider it out. Thus, gaining the winning point for Lucy and Tamaki.
"Gheez, I'm tired!" Kaoru said as he and Hikaru sat on the sand to rest a bit.
"What did you do back in your country to get all that energy, Lucy?" Hikaru asked before drinking from his bottled water.
"A lot of things, but that's my own little secret." She replied, winking as she grinned.
"That was a splendid job well done, Lucy." Tamaki complimented as he gave her a light pat on the back.
Back with Kyoya, Yuki and Kyo were, the host was sitting on a beach chair under an umbrella for shade and typing some things on his laptop while the 2 Sohma's were holding cameras and taking pictures of the other hosts' activities. Tohru had gone to take pictures of Mori and Honey, Yuki was in charge of Haruhi and the Hitachiin twins and Kyo was to take pictures of Tamaki and Kyoya.
"Remind me again why we're taking pictures again?" Kyo asked, as he took far candid pictures of Tamaki since Kyoya was just sitting behind him. "And why the hell I agreed to this in the first place?"
"One of the ways the Host Club gains income is photo books of each host." Kyoya stated. "The ones we currently have are mostly screenshots from security cameras and are very blurry. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to make limited editions of non-blurry pictures."
"Besides, it's not like you'd do anything else." Yuki commented, taking a picture of Haruhi's sleeping figure from afar. "Unless you wanted to go in the water and maybe catch some fish for dinner, you Stupid Cat."
Kyo's annoyance spiked at the mention of 'Stupid Cat' from Yuki and he put the camera on the table. "What'd you call me!? I dare youto say that again!"
"Stupid. Cat." Yuki said, also placing his camera down and looked at Kyo dead in the eye.
"That's it, ya Damn Rat!" Kyo shouted. "Let's go!"
He immediately dashed for the silver haired boy, his hand rolled up in a fist ready to punch Yuki. However, Yuki ducked and kicked Kyo in the stomach, sending him back a few feet. Kyo regained his footing and dashed for Yuki again. The both of them dodging or making attacks on the other. Gaining the attention of Honey, Mori, Wendy, Carla and Tohru. Wendy and Carla being reminded of Natsu and Gray while watching them.
"Impressive." Carla simply stated.
"They sure are good a hand-to-hand combat." Wendy noted.
"Both Yuki and Kyo have been taught martial arts since childhood." Tohru explained. "Kyo even disappeared into the mountains with his Sensei for months to train more."
"Whoa..." Honey said, as he was being carried on Mori's back. "Their skill is amazing, huh Takeshi?"
"Yeah." Mori replied, nodding.
As everyone continued to do the most out of the day, the weather drastically changed as the winds got stronger and the clouds covered the sun. Because of it, Juvia and Mira surfed back to the others while everyone else gathered together. The strong wind had also woken Haruhi from her nap, much to her annoyance, but she soon realized there was clearly something going on and she prayed that it wasn't a storm.
Everyone thought it strange, it wasn't supposed to rain at all since the forecast was supposed to be just a bright sunny day. Suddenly, Wendy felt a strange aura and looked to Lucy, Juvia and Mira. The mages seeing the bluenette's serious expression could also feel the strange aura and knew some type of magic was being at work and they mentally agreed to each other to remain calm and cautious.
"It seems an unexpected storm has come." Kyoya stated the obvious. "Let's head into the villa before we get rained on."
Before anyone could follow with Kyoya's suggestion, a laugh erupted through the area. "Who knew that following a couple of fairies would lead us to a place like this!" A man's voice said from above.
The hosts, Sohmas, mages and Tohru looked up to see a man floating in the air, sitting on what seems like some kind of circular platform. Like a frizbee turned upside down. The hosts, excluding Haruhi, and the Sohma cousins looked at the man with wide eyes. Haruhi and Tohru only worried about what the man could want and if Lucy and the other fairies could handle them.
The man was dressed in a bounty hunter's type clothing. His pants were baggy, combat boots on his feet and a plain shirt with a leather jacket. Strapped on his back was a large fan. His skin was very tanned and his eyes were large and green. His dark red orange hair spiky and messy while a bandana was tied around his forehead to keep his hair out of his face. A single hoop earring dangling on his left ear.
"Who are you?" Kyoya demanded, regaining his composure. "This is a private area, I suggest you leave immediately."
"Look at the poor human who has no idea what he's dealing with." A female's voice now said, the woman walking out from behind the rocky area that Honey, Mori, Wendy, Carla and Tohru were just at.
Her long green hair drifted just slightly past her thighs and her skin was also very tanned. Her eyes were a piercing grey and her lips were a light pink colour due to her lipstick. She wore a light peach spaghetti strap crop top, a jean skirt with leggings stopping at her knees, charmed anklets and sandals on her feet. In her hand was a golden staff that went from the middle to her face to the ground. A dark aura coming from it.
"Where the heck did you even come from?" Kyo asked, an angry look on his face.
"You humans should learn to take in the obvious." The man said, placing his hands on the back of his head. "We're not here for you anyway, you'll just get in our way."
"Then, what's your business here?" Honey asked, a serious tone surfacing as he spoke.
"Members of the in-famous Fairy Tail guild hall are here is what." The woman said, confusing the male hosts and Sohmas. "And we've come to clip their little magical wings."
"Fairy Tail?" Hikaru asked, tilting his head.
"I don't think I've ever heard or seen a guild by that name." Kaoru added, shrugging.
"Lucy, what should we do?" Wendy whispered into the blonde's ear. "We can't use our magic with them around, right?"
"We're going to have to." Lucy replied, nodding towards Mira and Juvia who also got the message.
"Tell us, who are you exactly?" Mira asked.
"It's only fair you tell us, is it not?" Juvia added.
"Soi. He's Nakago." The woman said as she smirked, gesturing to herself and the man. "Now little fairies, I suggest you stop standing there and face us without your little crowd."
"This woman is out of her mind." Tamaki mumbled, meeting eye contact with Kyoya, Honey and Mori. The 3 nodding at the older blonde to which he nodded in return, not knowing of the capability of the mages in front of them.
"You shouldn't underestimate the people in front of you!" Honey shouted, running towards the woman.
"No Honey!" Lucy called.
Soi only gave a low laugh as her staff glowed brighter and she pointed it slightly to the small third year. Honey's body was suddenly surrounded by a red aura and was lifted slightly off the ground. Everyone's eyes widened as Honey tried to move is body, but ultimately failed as he was pushed back. Mori catching him before he landed on the ground, much to everyone's undeniable relief.
"What in the world...?" Yuki said breathlessly. "That's just not possible..."
"What the hell are you people!?" Kyo demanded.
"Isn't it obvious?" Nakago asked, standing from his sitting position and opening his large fan. "We're mages from Fiore. Now say bye bye." He raised his fan high, before bringing it down to create a large gust of wind heading straight for the group.
Tamaki had ordered everyone to run, however, the range was too close. Yuki and Kyo pushed Tohru and Haruhi behind them, Mori carried Honey and crouched to keep his footing, Hikaru and Kaoru were holding onto each other while laying on the ground, Kyoya closed his eyes shut while raising his arm as a sort of block and Tamaki crouched to the ground. Yet, all of a sudden, the wind died down and disappeared.
"Wendy!" The hosts, Sohmas and Tohru heard Lucy say.
They all opened their eyes to see Wendy inhaling the wind attack and swallowing it whole right before them. Next to her, flying with a pair of wings on her back, was Carla. They were all speechless at the fact that Wendy could even do that, even Haruhi and Tohru. Once Wendy was done, much to the distaste of Soi and Nakago, she smiled while bearing her fangs and wiped her mouth with her wrist.
"You call that a gust of wind? That's nothing compared to a Sky Dragon Slayer." She stated, getting into her stance. "Now watch as I show you how it's done. Sky Dragon's... ROAR!" Once Wendy chanted her spell, the non-mages were left speechless yet again as a column of air left the bluenette's mouth, Nakago just barely dodging it.
"It seems you don't know when you're outmatched... do you?" Mira asked, in a devious voice. The non-mages watching as a glow surrounded her and transformed into her Satan Soul form, everyone completely dumbfounded at her completely different persona. Mira shot a large blast to Nakago, who tried to block it, but to no avail.
"You haven't won yet-!?" Soi said, but was cut off due to Juvia coming from right beneath her in her water form and taking her staff to hold Soi still. While everyone was occupied with Wendy and Mira, the water mage had transformed into her water form to travel without notice.
"You come here to battle us, however, we're at a beach surrounded by water." Juvia said as she began to surround Soi with her water body to form a dome. "It's a high advantage for a water mage and one who possesses Aquarius' celestial key."
Mira then flew up as her devil wings appeared and grabbed Nakago by the collar of his shirt, the S-Class mage smirking as she threw the boy towards Soi and was now also submerged into the dome of water. "Lucy are you ready!?" The white haired mage asked, the non-mages immediately turning to the blonde girl who stood at the edge of shoreline, golden key in hand.
The younger Suoh sibling smirked as she placed Aquarius' key in the water and a golden glow surrounded her and the water. "Hold them tight Juvia!" Lucy said as a doorbell sound rang through the area. "Open! Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!"
"No way!" The Hitachiin twins, Honey, Kyo and Tamaki exclaimed.
"Lucy is a part of this too!?" Yuki thought in shock. "Could that be why we didn't transform!?"
Aquarius soon surfaced from the water, the mermaid celestial spirit holding her blue urn in her hand. "You have some nerve calling me out while I was on a date, Lucy." She said before smirking. "But at least I'm in a proper body of water and not in a puddle."
"Not the point here." Lucy said before getting into her stance. "You ready?"
"Always." Aquarius replied, as she lifted her urn high.
Lucy immediately cued Juvia to let the 2 mages from the water dome, which made both Soi and Nakago fall to the ground and coughing up water. Then, the blonde celestial mage let out her whip and grabbed them by wrapping the whip around their bodies. She began to spin around, slowly but surely lifting both off the ground. Then, once they were spinning long enough, Lucy let them go as Aquarius shot water from her urn. Sending them far from the beach.
"Aw come on!" Soi and Nakago cried as they were encased in Aquarius' blast and most likely will fall into either the middle of the ocean or on some island.
Once the Fairy Tail mages were sure that both Soi and Nakago were not going to come back, Aquarius went back to the Celestial Spirit World while Mira descended to the ground and transformed back into her normal self. The Fairies giving high-fives to each other at their successful teamwork. It had been awhile since Lucy used magic in combat since she was planning on leaving Fairy Tail, but it definitely felt great for her to let loose again.
As Tohru and Haruhi regained their composure faster than the boys, for obvious reasons, they went to the 4 girls in absolute amazement. "That was incredible!" Tohru commented. "You all dealt with those mages with no fear at all!"
"I had a feeling you 4 would pull through." Haruhi added, smiling in approval. "You all are definitely stronger than those guys. Your magic is amazing!"
"Hold on a minute." Yuki and Kyoya said in unison, they being the next ones to regain their composure next with Mori following in suite.
Next was the Hitachiin twins and Kyo who came back to reality and immediately shook their heads before pointing at the 4 girls with absolute shock. "YOU GUYS CAN USE MAGIC!?" They yelled. "And Tohru and Haruhi knew!?"
"Well..?" Wendy spoke, trailing off as she sheepishly scratched the back of her head.
Tamaki and Honey couldn't contain their shock any further and just fell onto the sand. Making Lucy and Haruhi to smack their foreheads, Wendy and Juvia smiling awkwardly at the boys, Carla shaking her head and shrugging as she was still flying in the air and a chuckle from Mira and Tohru. Now they knew once the boys finally regain full composure, there will be a whole lot of explaining to do.
"I told you it was my little secret, didn't I? But I guess you could call it ours now." Lucy said.
