"Are you implying that she's missing!?" Tamaki asked in a worried voice.
"Considering that her celestial keys were left on the ground, and it is highly unlikely that she would drop them by accident, that would be the most logical explanation." Kyoya said. "Or even worse."
"What are we going to do!? We have to find Lucy!" Tohru said, her hands in her hair showing her stress.
"First we all need to calm down, it's only been 30 minutes." Haruhi said, trying to remain cool and collected. "There is no way Lucy, or whoever has her, could've made it far."
"But the school is so big, there's a lot of us sure, but there's no way we can cover the entire academy with how large it is." Kaoru added.
"Well we have to try!" Kyo urged.
"For all we know, it could be those 2 mages from Fiore who attacked us at the beach!" Yuki pointed out.
"Waahh! Does that mean Lucy might've been kidnapped!?" Honey asked.
"Yeah." Mori simply replied.
Hikaru had yet to say another word, as he was thinking. He blankly stared at the celestial keys while Tamaki tried to call Lucy's cellphone. Kyoya, Mori, Kyo and Yuki looking through the security camera through Kyoya's laptop and Haruhi, Tohru, Honey and Kaoru tried to come up with a plan if the worst was the come and the others found something out. But Hikaru's mind suddenly went to think that Lucy must've dropped her keys when trying to fight back her captor.
"Anything, Tamaki-senpai?" Haruhi asked.
The older Suoh ruffled his hair in distress, he had called Lucy's cellphone more than 30 times now and all he ever got in return was either voicemail or a static noise from the other line. Which made him even more frustrated. "Nothing. Almost immediately its voicemail or a static noise." He said.
"What about the security cameras, Kyoya?" Honey asked.
"We've been forwarding and rewinding the footage from the camera down the hallway where you guys came from, but it seems that whatever happened to Lucy happened was taken from its blind spot." Kyoya explained.
"And the the other camera opposite from it, along with other cameras..." Kyo began to add. "Someone had blocked their lenses way before whatever happened. But we definitely know that Lucy was forcefully taken and most likely drugged somehow."
"Drugged!?" Tamaki and Tohru cried.
"From the camera's blind spot, you can see Lucy's shoe as well as her hand that grabbed her celestial keys." Yuki described. "It seemed she struggled for a minute until she just stopped and dropped the pouch. Which means she had likely passed out."
"Because it happened so fast, 30 minutes could be long enough for the culprit to leave the nearest exit and get into a car since it seems they took the route with the least amount of classrooms and found the closest exit." Mori added.
Thinking about her magic, Hikaru then thought about how she got stronger in Fairy Tail. Which made him recall Lucy's friends who remained in Fairy Tail. Lucy is a celestial mage. Mira is a takeover mage who can transform into different demons. Lisanna who transforms into animals. Juvia; a water mage. Carla an Exceed and Wendy who is a dragon slayer. The others, except Tamaki and Yuki, hadn't met Gajeel or Lily but they knew they are like Wendy and Carla.
After the fairies left Japan from their first visit, he and Kaoru had asked Lucy why Wendy always looked so surprised whenever anyone would yell or how she was able to tell what was for lunch just by the smell. Lucy had then explained that because Wendy, as well as Gajeel, were trained as dragon slayers; their senses have been enhanced. So all their senses were stronger and more sensitive than the average person.
That's when it finally hit the Hitachiin twin. "We can still track her!"
"Huh?" Everyone else asked.
"How Hikaru?" Kaoru asked.
"If we can contact Wendy and the others, she can track Lucy's scent thanks to enhanced sense of smell." Hikaru explained.
"That... could just work!" Tamaki said with a glimmer of hope resonating around him.
"Lucy left her communication lacrima to contact them in the conference room, I'll go get it!" Haruhi said as she ran to the room.
"I'll send Lucy's pilot with a high fast jet plane to Fiore right away." Tamaki said, picking up his phone to call the pilot that has been flying the trips between Fiore and Japan since Lucy arrived. He hoped that this plan would work, there was no way Tamaki would let his little sister get hurt.
"But... that still leaves one question." Yuki spoke up, catching the remaining members' attention. "Why they would take Lucy in the first place. It doesn't quite add up to me."
Honey looked at Mori for a moment before shrugging his shoulders, holding Usa-chan tightly as his head cocked to the side. "Maybe they wanted her magic? To experiment on her?"
"No... I think Yuki is on to something." Tohru added. "If they wanted to her magic, or wanted to research her magic. They wouldn't have carelessly left her celestial keys there either. They are her primary magic after all."
"She may be a literal princess in a sense, but her father's company had gone bankrupt and her mother is dead." Mori added. "Looking at it from a social standing, there would be little to no benefit of kidnapping her. It would have been much more better to take Tamaki, if anything."
"Mori-senpai has a point." Kyo agreed. "There's something more that we're not getting at here."
"Guys!" Haruhi called as she placed the large lacrima on one of the coffee tables in front of a couch, Tamaki following suite as he finished his call with Lucy's pilot. "Here's her lacrima but... there's one problem."
"Does anyone know how to turn it on?" The older Suoh asked.
There was silence as Honey and Kaoru took it upon themselves to examine the unfamiliar orb. It resembled exactly that of any makeshift crystal ball that fortune-tellers would use when asked of the future. Looking through it, you could only see the other side faintly, the center of the orb looking as though it held stars or a part of the universe within it and staring long would cause them to see the celestial pattern move.
The stand that it rested on, on the other hand, made everyone in the room intrigued. It was golden and was made out of intricate details of swirls and morphed shapes. It shimmered gold and looked as though it was worth about the same as the academy. To buy it would indefinitely cost an abundance of money and though the design makes it look fragile, Haruhi and Tohru had seen Lucy drop the stand on more occasions than one and it never broke. No matter how hard the fall was. It was almost unbreakable.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a golden glow appeared behind the teens and startled them. However, Haruhi and Tohru relaxed when a certain celestial spirit came flying out from the glow, landing on his hands and knees while shaking his head from the clearly bumpy ride. Loke took a moment before gasping and looking around him, realizing he was in the Host Club made him disappointed yet relieved at the same time.
"Loke!" Tohru said as she knelt down beside him, Kyo following suite to help the brunette left him from the ground.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked.
Loke sighed and shook his head. "Lucy's connection with us spirits was severed." He said, Kyo and Tohru letting him sit on the chair since Loke looked more weak and drained.
"What do you mean!?" Tamaki asked in alarm, he knew that it was nearly impossible to sever a connection between spirit and mage since Lucy told him it was like an unbreakable bond or 'contract' as she called it. "Isn't that impossible!?"
"Yes..." Loke replied, regret over his face. "Usually, a spirit cannot appear unless summoned, but I am able to whenever I please since me and Lucy are fellow friends, guildmates and also since I'm the zodiacs' leader."
"So what happened when Lucy was kidnapped?" Kaoru asked. "All we saw on the camera footage was that Lucy tried to summon one of you, but she passed out before she could do anything."
"She passed out!?" Loke asked in surprise. He nearly go up from the chair before looking completely defeated and plopping himself down again. "What ever they did to Lucy... it must've made her so weak that she doesn't have enough strength to use magic, thus it must be the reason why her connection with us feel broken."
"Well you're here now, can't you teleport to her and find her?" Kyoya suggested.
Loke, yet again, shook his head. "Since Lucy is weakened, I don't have enough power as I did when she had normal strength. I could damage myself severely if I tried to teleport to wherever she is... and by the looks of it, she's far from here."
"If that's the case, Loke, do you know how to work this communication lacrima?" Yuki asked.
"Yeah! we thought that Wendy and Lucy's other friend Gajeel could track her scent!" Honey added.
The celestial spirit's eyes widened slightly and immediately looked at the lacrima on the table. "Of course! That's brilliant!" He said as he began to make the lacrima contact the guild hall.
It began to glow for a few moments until an image fazed in, revealing Mira. On her side of the lacrima, there were many voices and loud noises in the background. But they dismissed it as asking for Wendy and Gajeel was far more important. "Oh? Hello everyone!" She smiled.
"Mira!" The non-mages said in unison.
"I'm surprised to see your faces, did Lucy teach you how to use the communication lacrima?" She asked, the white haired mage noticing Loke was also present but not his blonde master. "Huh? Loke? It's been awhile, where's Lucy? I don't see her with you."
"Mira... where's Wendy and Gajeel?" Tamaki asked, the urgency of the situation present in his voice.
"They left the guild awhile ago because of a job. Why what's wrong?"
"Damn it." Kyo said under his breath.
"Lucy's been kidnapped!" The Hitachiin twins and Honey shouted.
Mira immediately froze and her eyes widened. It was then that the hosts, the Sohma cousins, Tohru and Loke noticed that all was silent on Fairy Tail's side of the lacrima. Loke immediately knew what had happened and pinched the bridge of his nose as he knew what would transpire next. And as if on cue, a loud shout came from the lacrima, definitely not Mira's voice, and voiced all the thoughts from the other side.
"Whaddaya mean Luce's been kidnapped!?"
Natsu immediately came into view, his pink hair startling everyone except for Tamaki, Yuki and Loke, and looked enraged hearing that, in his mind, his best friend was kidnapped. 2 more people came into view, Tamaki and Yuki recognizing them as Gray and Erza, and even Lisanna came into view as well. All 3 mirroring very worried expressions for Lucy being kidnapped.
"Someone took her earlier today since she was coming to our club room without the others." Kyoya explained. "They had taken her at a security camera's blind spot and the other cameras were blocked before hand. By the time we found out, it was too late. She's gone."
Natsu growled and let out a roar of fire towards the ceiling, startling the non-mages. "I knew she should've stayed with us! Because of them Luce was taken!"
Almost immediately as he said that, Makarov sent a blast of magic towards the fire dragon slayer. Natsu flying to a wall as a result. "You have no right to say that, Natsu! Like you would've done any better had she not left in the first place!"
"You wouldn't have had noticed to begin with!" Lisanna shouted as well.
Makarov appeared on the orb and Erza closed in as well. "My name is Erza, do you have any leads on who might've taken Lucy?"
"We know that whoever captured her, made her pass put somehow." Hikaru explained. "We were hoping that Wendy and this Gajeel guy could track her down since they're dragon slayers."
Mori then crossed his arms and thought for a moment. "Are their sense of smell strong enough though?" He spoke up.
"What?" The hosts, the Sohmas and Loke asked.
"What do you mean, Mori-senpai?" Tohru asked.
"Whatever made Lucy pass out, it might have had a strong scent since it happened so quickly." The senior student noted. "And besides, it usually takes almost half a day, if not a full day, for them to come here right?"
"Hm... Mori-senpai does have a point." Yuki said.
Makarov and Erza looked at each other in uncertainty, the old man sighing. "We do not know when Gajeel and the others will come back. The job they took is in a town a days trip away." He explained, the non-mages and celestial spirit looking down in disappointment.
"Then by the time they come here, it'll be too late." Tamaki said, defeated. "Mori-senpai's right, Lucy... she'll be gone..."
"Senapi..." Haruhi said in a low voice.
"No... there is still one option." Makarov said after a moment of silence. "However... everyone on your side MUST agree to it or I will not allow it."
"What?" Hikaru asked desperately, hope still in his eyes. "What do you mean?"
"Let Natsu and his team go instead of the others." Makarov said.
"What?" Everyone in the club room asked.
"Master, are you serious?" Erza asked in major disbelief, surprised that the guild master even shared the thought.
"Natsu is a strong dragon slayer and he was once Lucy's best friend, if anyone can track her scent even if it's barely there... he can."
"Gramps..." Natsu said softly, looking towards the lacrima that showed Lucy's other family.
"He's right." Gray spoke up. "We have no means of contacting Gajeel and the others. If we want to save Lucy quickly, we have to go."
The hosts, the Sohma's, Tohru and Loke all turned to Tamaki. Lucy is his sister, therefore, it's obvious that he speak for everyone whether to let the people who had hurt Lucy greatly to come and save her. But did they even have a choice? They had no idea who had taken Lucy and time was running thin. Kyoya had even tried tracking her phone but it had been turned off ever since she was taken, and none of his employees from home found anything either.
Tamaki then stood from his seat and balled his hands into fists before taking a a deep bow. "Please... come and save Lucy." He said while slightly shaking. "Please... save my sister!"
