"EXCUSE ME!?" Uo yelled across the classroom since the bell hadn't rung yet. Her body was leaning over her desk as she stood, one hand planted on her desk to keep balance while the other was shaking as she pointed at Lucy, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo. "You're telling me that Aya is not actually her name and that her name is actually Lucy!?"
"Uo... calm down... there's a really good explanation for this..." Tohru said, going over to the blonde girl with an awkward smile.
"I'm sorry Tohru but I'd have to agree with her." Hana said as the rest of the class stared at Lucy with their mouths hanging open in shock. "Just a few weeks ago, she came to this school as Aya and now you're reintroducing her as Lucy?"
"Forget about that, Hana!" Uo shouted. "The real issue here is that she's not some regular girl named Lucy, but says that she's also the youngest daughter of some next rich family!"
Lucy couldn't help but attempt to hold in her laugh. The circumstances of the class finding out her identity were far better than when Fairy Tail had found out during the Phantom War and seeing the class completely flabbergasted was quite amusing to say the least. "I'm sorry to bring this up out of the blue everyone." Lucy said, giggling as she bowed.
"I don't get why you all are so surprised about this." Kyo said shrugging. "It was pretty obvious from the first day she transferred here that Aya wasn't normal."
"How come you 3 aren't surprised about the whole rich thing anyway?" One of the male students asked. "You guys even came to school together?"
"We had met back when we temporarily transferred to Ouran Academy half a year ago." Yuki simply stated. "She was actually a student there first before coming here."
"Yeah, they became good friend's of mine when we met." Lucy added. "My brother even invited Yuki and Kyo to be temporary members of his club there!"
"You have a brother Aya- I mean Lucy!?" A female student asked in surprise.
"Yeah! His name is Tamaki Suoh, which means my actual name is Lucy Suoh!"
"Suoh, huh?" Another male student remarked. "That's the same name as the Chairperson of Ouran Academy's board of directors right? Crazy how you and your brother share the same name considering how filthy rich that family is."
Lucy smiled nonchalantly as she scratched the back of her head, figuring how the next part is going to play out. "Funny you should say that..." She said with a nervous tone.
"Oh come now, what are the possibilities that Lucy is the-" Hana immediately cut herself off, the class soon mirroring her shocked expression with Uo on the brink of fainting from being in the presence of someone as filthy rich as Lucy.
"EH!?" The class cried.
"OKAY YOU ARE GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS RIGHT NOW!" Uo demanded, Lucy unable to hold in her laughter any longer and began to clutch her stomach with how funny everything was.
"Why did you become Aya in the first place, Lucy?" A female student asked, still shaken from the revelation. "And why did you leave Ouran Academy for this regular high school?"
The younger Suoh just sighed, finally done laughing and held her hands behind her back as she began to repeat what she had told the faculty prior to coming to the class.
"Excuse me!?" Mayuko Shiraki - Yuki, Kyo, Tohru and Lucy's homeroom teacher - asked, slamming her hands on her desk as the rest of the teachers and headmaster stared at the group with wide eyes.
"It's just as she said, Miss. Shiraki." Tamaki said as he gestured to Lucy. "The girl that had enrolled here as Aya Lilith is actually my sister - Lucy Suoh, the youngest daughter of the Suoh family."
To say the entire faculty was stunned in complete shock was an understatement. Even though they were quiet, there were still students talking about the hallways but even still, the entire faculty room was as silent as it could be. So many thoughts ran across each teachers' and the headmaster's head and they didn't know what to do with the information they were just given. Luckily, Mayuko was able to recover first and shook her head out of her trance.
"W-Why did you enroll here as Aya Lilith, Miss. S-Suoh?" She asked.
Both Hikaru and Kaoru had to hold in their laughter, looking at all the 'commoner' teachers in shock at the presence of the 4 teens from some of the richest families in the room was pretty hilarious. Yuki, Kyo and Tohru had to only sigh at the teachers' reactions, having thought that they would have been immune to this kind of surprise considering the school's history with the Sohma family. But then again, for adults, having very wealthy people in front of you is like seeing the lottery in front of you.
"You see Shiraki sensei, due to certain circumstances, I was separated from my family and had lost my memory for 6 months now." Lucy explained, the sentence breaking the rest of the faculty's trance. "When I was found, the people who had taken me in gave me the name Aya Lilith. I knew nothing so they had taught me everything I needed to know before going back to school."
"You had amnesia!? For 6 months!?"
Lucy nodded and gestured to the twins and Tamaki. "If they hadn't come when they did, I would've probably never regain my memories and would have continued to be Aya Lilith."
"What about your appearance?" Mayuko asked. "You had faded pink hair when you arrived here."
"Before losing my memory, I originally dyed my hair pink due to..." Lucy began to trail off, not knowing how to answer her question. That was, until she looked at Tamaki and instantly knew the perfect answer. "...due to my brother's costume party!"
"Costume party-!?" Tamaki was about to question until Hikaru and Kaoru elbowed his gut, sending the message to follow along with Lucy's bluff. "R-Right... th-that... costume p-party..." He mumbled in pain.
"My brother's club back at Ouran Academy always hosts parties whenever they can and I was dying my hair to perfect the cosplay!" Lucy lied through her smile.
"What kind of stupid lie is that!?" Yuki and Kyo thought while sweat dropping. "There's no way they'll believe that!"
Mayuko thought the story over a bit and just like the 2 Sohmas thought, she didn't believe the reasons of the enrollment and the pink hair but the rest of the story made sense. The older woman sighed and scratched the back of her head, not wanting to deal with this any longer considering the Ouran students could easily do whatever they want with the snap of their fingers. So she just shrugged, earning a shocked look from the faculty, the Sohmas and Tohru.
"Well, I guess if that's what you want to believe, I won't stop you." She said with a lazy yawn. "I already had enough proof with those 3 rich kids behind you there Lucy."
Yuki, Kyo and Tohru sweatdropped immediately at Mayuko's words. "She really believed that!?"
"Well..." Hikaru, Kaoru and Tamaki thought. "...She adapted quickly."
"I can assume you will return back to Ouran Academy with your brother then?" Mayuko asked, grabbing some files as she stood up.
"If it's alright with you and the headmaster of course." Lucy said with a grateful smile since the woman believed her story. "But I'd still like to go to class today as my last class."
The silver haired teacher just smiled at that request and began to make her way to the photocopier. "Not a problem with me, just make sure you inform your classmates of this so there's no long introduction."
"Thank you so much ma'am!" Lucy and Tohru said as they bowed.
"...So it went like that!" Lucy stated, the class completely dumbfounded at the story.
"SENSEI REALLY BELIEVED SUCH A STORY!?" The class thought, mirroring Yuki, Kyo and Tohru's reactions since they honestly should've expected something like that with someone like Mayuko.
"Okay everyone, now that you are aware of the situation, this will be Lucy's last class with us." Yuki revealed, the class regaining their composure at his words. "As of tomorrow, she will be returning to Ouran Academy with her brother."
Lucy bowed gratefully before scratching the back of her head again. "I know that I was only with you for a really short amount of time, but I'd like to thank you all for taking care of me." She said. "I'm also sorry for the headaches I may have caused."
Each of the students looked at each other before returning smiles at Lucy. They obviously didn't mind the change of Aya to Lucy, even though it all happened in such a short amount of time. And it wasn't like they could blame her for having amnesia, especially for 6 months, it just wouldn't be fair to the celestial mage. When the younger Suoh saw each of them smile in return to her, she was grateful with how understanding they all were.
"Man... I still can't believe that we were all in the same room as someone in the all powerful Suoh family." Uo said, finally calm and free of shock.
"It is quite a shocker, but when does anything really make sense with the world?" Hana added, crossing her arms as she closed her eyes in thought. "At least the amnesia would explain her strange electrical waves."
Both Uo and Hana then looked at Lucy in thought. "But seriously, even though you had amnesia and went under the name Aya..." Uo started to say, eyeing Lucy up and down. "Can anyone here honestly imagine Lucy having people at her every beck and call? I don't think I can."
"Well-"
"Princess, did I hear that you are in need of assistance?"
First, it was the class that froze. Then it was Yuki, Kyo and Tohru's turn. Lucy, on the other hand, knew exactly who it was that had spoken and she turned around with a very annoyed look upon her face. Virgo had decided to pass through her own gate and appeared right behind Lucy so no one could see her materialize out of thin air. Once Lucy did, however, the entire class was not only surprised to see a maid with short pink hair, but with chains attached to her wrist.
It was silent for a couple of seconds until the entire class rose from their seats and pointed at Virgo in shock. "EEEHHHH!? PRINCESS!?"
"Virgo! What the heck are you doing here!?" Lucy shouted in surprise and annoyance.
"I sensed that you might need my help, so I came here on my own accord." The celestial spirit explained in her usual monotoned fashion.
"As much as I appreciate the effort Virgo, now was definitely not the time." The blonde replied, facepalming.
"Were my actions not appropriate?" Virgo asked while tilting her head. "Would you like to punish me?"
"Punishment!?" Tohru cried in shock.
"P-Punishment...?" The class thought a shiver going down their spines.
Lucy immediately began to freak out and grabbed Virgo in a back hug to stop her from moving, using one hand to cover her mouth before she said anything else that would form misunderstandings. "How many times do I have to tell you no!"
"Hey Lucy, what the heck, who is this chick!?" Kyo asked, snapping out of his shocked trance.
The celestial mage leaned in closer to Yuki, Kyo and Tohru, lowering her voice so that only they could hear the answer to that question. "She's one of my celestial spirits, the maiden or spirit of the virgin palace, Virgo." She whispered through her teeth. "She and Loke have a mind all on their own and can appear without me summoning them whenever they want."
"You called?"
The minute the younger Suoh mentioned the lion spirit's name, Loke had appeared from right behind Virgo, pushing his glasses up with his signature smirk plastered on his face. Thus, making Lucy, Yuki, Kyo and Tohru jump in surprise. "Loke!? What the heck are you doing here!?" Lucy questioned. "I didn't call on you!"
"Whoa check it out!" One of the male students said. "His hair makes him look like he has some cat ears!"
"He's... so cool... and dreamy..." Some of the girls thought in awe. "Just like Yuki!"
"Is that his real hair colour, Lucy?" A girl asked.
Before Lucy could answer, the girl was surprised to find Loke right beside her, already holding her hand before placing a kiss to her her knuckles. "Well aren't you a very lovely lady? I wouldn't mind taking you out to eat." He said, making the girl blush while the boys bowed their heads in shame like when all the girls fawn over Yuki.
"How about you stop flirting and go home!" Lucy suggested, her face displaying her anger.
At the sight of the lion spirit, Uo chuckled as she crossed her arms before diverting her attention to Kyo. "Wow Orange Top, looks like you're not the only one with natural orange hair anymore."
"Hey you!" Kyo screamed, turning Loke's attention on him. "I still got a bone to pick with you for brushing me off last time!"
"A fight huh?" The celestial spirit asked, turning to face Kyo as he adjusted his rings. "Well then... I guess you can say it's a cat versus cat battle then, right?"
"Oh? Is that so?" Lucy asked, her tone suddenly turning dark and everyone could feel a dark aura surrounding her. Hana surprised at how the blonde's electric waves began to skyrocket. Loke and Kyo immediately shivered and looked at Lucy, terrified for their lives. "You're not really going to fight now, are you? Not when class is about to start?"
The 2 orange haired cats immediately shook their heads and could feel cold sweat going down their necks. "No ma'am! Absolutely not!"
After a second, Lucy let go of Virgo and clasped her hands together in appreciation while smiling happily. The class completely surprised in her change in attitude while they mentally noted not to get Lucy angry. Hana, calm again as she felt the younger Suoh's electric waves return to normal. "Good!" Lucy said.
"Lucy... she can really be super scary if she wanted to, huh?" Tohru asked in a low voice.
"Definitely..." Yuki agreed shuddering. "I heard that she learnt it all from Miss. Mirajane though, so it's too be expected."
"Now that that has been settled..." The celestial mage then began to push both Loke and Virgo out of the classroom since it was almost time for class to begin. "It's time for the both of you to go back home!" Once she pushed them out of the classroom, she nodded at both of them gratefully for checking on her, the ulterior motive for their visit, to which they smiled in return before fading back into the celestial world.
When that was done and over with, the bell had rung and Mayuko entered the class. She asked if they were all aware of the situation, to which the entire class shouted in confirmation. Pleased, she asked for the 4 friends to go sit back at their seats, Lucy asking if Tamaki, Hikaru and Kaoru already left after speaking to the headmaster about her dropout - which Mayuko confirmed they had. Which meant Lucy only had one more thing to face before she went back to Ouran Academy with the hosts.
Once classes had finally ended, all the students in Lucy, Yuki, Kyo and Tohru's class all said farewell and wished her good luck in going back to her home and Ouran Academy. Though, Lucy did promise that she would visit whenever she had the chance to see everyone again. The entire class held her to that promise and the group of 4 started to make their way to the front gates of the school, where the hosts and the fairies should undoubtedly be waiting for them.
They had met up with Momiji and Haru, the both of them glad that Lucy was now okay. Tohru dropped the news that Lucy would be leaving with the hosts and the fairies tomorrow morning and the 2 would come to see them off with Tohru, Yuki, Kyo and Shigure. They would even bring Hatori, Kagura and Ayame as well. Sadly, both Haru and Momiji had cleaning duty, so they had to say their goodbyes then went back to work while the group began to make their way back towards the school gates.
Before they made it to the first floor, Yuki had to stop by the student council room to check on a few things so he told Lucy, Kyo and Tohru to go ahead without him and that he would follow in a few minutes to which they all agreed. Kyo and Tohru began to walk before Lucy remembered something and turned back. "Wait Yuki!" She said.
The grey haired Sohma closed the student council room and turned back to face the blonde. "What is it Lucy?"
"I forgot to say this and I'm definitely not gonna say it when I leave tomorrow." She said. "I just wanted to say sorry for threatening you back when I was Aya. Even though you had nothing to do with what happened, I still foolishly thought that you all didn't care that someone was screaming out for help and thought you were all cowards."
Yuki just smiled at her apology. "You know you don't have to apologize since it was all one big misunderstanding right?" He said. "Akito made you think ill of all the Sohmas, so it was natural for you to hold a grudge."
The younger Suoh smiled and chuckled. "So What? No forgiveness hug?" She joked.
"You know I don't hug girls Lucy, and you also know the reason why." He replied chuckling as well.
The blonde just shrugged and smirked. "Yeah well I'm not like most girls remember? Now come here." She said as she went to hug him, the students in the hall stopping to freeze at the scene.
It was a quick hug, but the entire student body knew that Yuki wasn't very 'touchy' with the females in the school. So seeing him hug a female, Lucy being a girl they hadn't really seen or noticed to be around Yuki, was something jaw breaking. It was undoubtedly going to start a couple rumors, but none that Yuki himself couldn't manage and is not willing to clarify. So when they broke the hug, Lucy ran to catch up with Kyo and Tohru and Yuki went into the council room like nothing had happened.
Once they made it to the exit and had changed their shoes, someone had approached them with heavy stomps. "Stop right there you!" A girl's voice called out.
When the 3 turned around, they were met with the Prince Yuki fan club's president: Motoko Minagawa. She had her left hand resting on her hip while her right was outstretched and pointed straight towards Lucy. Her 2 other members that are always with her, Minami Kinoshita and Mio Yamagishi, were standing behind her in triangle formation with their hands crossed as they tried to look intimidating with their stern gazes. Kyo just sighed, Tohru laughing in an awkward tone and Lucy just looked at them confused.
"Oh great it's these chicks." Kyo groaned in complaint and annoyance.
"Now Kyo... be nice..." Tohru said.
"Uh yes?" The blonde replied. "And just who... are you?"
"We are the Prince Yuki fan club!" Motoko declared as she flipped her hair, making it a point to send the message that she was above Lucy. "And we are tasked to worship, love and protect our beloved prince from all who try to take him away from us!"
Lucy was dumbfounded at the girls before her and just made a face of irritation. "These girls are like Juvia but are way more in numbers!" She thought, recalling those times in the past that Juvia wanted to kill her for trying to 'flirt' with Gray. "well... at least Juvia doesn't try to stop Gray from having female friends."
"It seems that there's now another witch who is close to Yuki and I will not stand by while he is brainwashed by the both of you!" Motoko continued to say.
"2... witches?" Tohru asked in confusion, which only earned a shrug from Lucy and Kyo in return.
"Uh... okay then?" Lucy asked, turning around to exit with Kyo and Tohru. "Go ahead and have fun I guess."
"Now just a second!" The girl called again, making Lucy turn around with a look of pure irritation. Kyo and Tohru taking a few steps back, fully knowing that the blonde was not having it with the fan club president. "We will not tolerate such disrespect towards Yuki! You need know your place since you even went so far as to hug him in front of the student body!"
"Oh what a terrible charge!" Minami and Mio said dramatically.
The celestial mage stayed silent for a second, calming her annoyance before she took action. Once she was at a 'reasonable' level of annoyance, she placed a hand on her hip with a smirk plastered on her face. Lucy didn't want to play the card that she was about use but she wanted to finish all this up in a sentence or 2 so that they can leave. She had a feeling that Gajeel was facing some undeserved prejudice and it was only a matter of time before a fight started out.
"And I suppose... Yuki was the one who told you that it wasn't okay for me to hug him?" Lucy asked, earning small gasps from the girls since they knew he did not. "I suggest you to not make such baseless assumptions when you are just obsessed with Yuki."
"How dare you!" The girls shouted.
"This isn't just some obsession or regular high school crush!" Motoko defended. "We truly love Yuki for all that he is, and we are not going to allow some lowly girl such as yourself to take him away."
Kyo shivered, feeling Lucy's battle aura grow. "Oh... they are so dead..." He thought.
The younger Suoh just kept the smirk on her face and crossed her arms as her stare pierced through the girls, paralyzing them. "Some lowly girl, huh?" She asked. "I guess you are unaware of who I am then... it's quite a shame. I feel bad for Yuki, at least he has Tohru, me and the others who treat him like a person and friend. You 3 on the other hand, he's more like a diamond for you to admire."
"What'd you say-"
"I'm sure to those who know... they wouldn't appreciate that you just called the esteemed daughter of the Suoh family a witch and a lowly girl." Lucy continued to say, cutting Motoko off, making the 3 girls' eyes widening at the mention of the Suoh family. "And I don't think Yuki would appreciate you for slandering his friends, right... Yuki?"
Motoko, Mio and Minami gasped again and turned to see their beloved prince, who had just arrived and hadn't heard anything prior to Lucy addressing him. They tried to form words but none would come out. Meanwhile, Yuki just looked at Lucy, Tohru and Kyo in confusion, only to be met with a simple smile from the blonde, a sheepish laugh from Tohru and a shrug from Kyo. Lucy knowing well that she had won in whatever battle she was fighting there.
"Hey Bunny Girl, what's the hold up?" Gajeel voice spoke as he stood leaning against the entryway, students shaking in fear at his appearance. The group of 4 turned around and smiled at the iron dragon slayer. "We've been waiting for 30 minutes now, let's go already."
"Gajeel!" Lucy greeted as she ran to his side. "I was just dealing with some unnecessary concern, don't worry about it."
"She's friends with that guy!?" Some students thought since Lucy's identity was basically clarified from the encounter with the fan club just now.
"Is someone messing with you guys?" He asked, raising an eyebrow while looking at the girls as Yuki walked to Tohru and Kyo's side. He cracked his neck and knuckles while growling. "You know what happens to punks when I find out that they are, right?"
The blonde just rolled her eyes as she gave him a block of iron from her bag, the students becoming pale at Gajeel's warning and the fact that Lucy just had a block of iron in her bag as if it wasn't heavy. "Yeah I know." She replied, placing the iron block in the dragon slayer's hand. "I know you must be hungry after waiting so long."
Gajeel just smirked and knew instantly what Lucy wanted him to do. Not that he minded, he was kind of hungry after all. "Well, don't mind if I do." He said, taking a bite out of the iron, making the students' mouths hang open in fear as he chewed on it like a granola bar. "Now let's go before Salamander and Stripper over there start to fight and decide to use you-know-what."
Lucy nodded as she gestured for Tohru, Yuki and Kyo to follow. The 3 of them sweatdropping since they too also found out Lucy's motive in giving Gajeel the iron block. The fangirls falling to their knees, weak at Lucy's words and the silent threat that Gajeel had made. When the they had ran from the scene, Lucy and Gajeel just laughed. Kyo and Tohru looking at the both of them with admiration for standing up to those girls and Yuki still confused with everything.
When they had arrived to the front gates where everyone else was waiting, police officers were already in front of the street with students who gasped when they saw Gajeel. When Lucy saw them, she sighed and looked to Kyoya with a smirk. When the police turned to look at Gajeel, they too had to stop themselves from shuddering at his intimidating physique. Especially since he was still chewing on the iron block Lucy had gave him.
As they were about to approach Gajeel, Kyoya immediately intervened and began getting information as to why they look so hostile, even though it was obvious. When the youngest Ootori learned that students reported of a suspicious criminal on the school's grounds, Kyoya began to explain that Gajeel, along with the other fairies minus Wendy, Happy and Carla, were bodyguards to the hosts. But the officers only laughed at him, not believing that the hosts needed bodyguards as they seemed like normal teenagers skipping school.
Of course, this made crazy looking grins appear on the hosts', excluding Haruhi and including Lucy, faces. Kyoya then took out his phone, dialed a number and almost instantly another police car had pulled up to the school, revealing the officers' main boss and one of their senior officers. Both had bowed to Kyoya, greeting him, the twins, the Suoh siblings, Honey and Mori using their formal titles before scolding the officers for disrespecting them, to which the officers immediately apologized.
"It is quite unruling for officers such as yourselves to be unfamiliar to those of higher status such as them." Erza said, going into the role of a bodyguard and requipping out a sword from behind her back. The officers and their boss' mouths dropping open in shock as she swung it so that it created a crack on the stone fence of the school. "I suggest you be prepared for any later events, am I clear?"
The officers and the boss nodded immediately, cowering in fear of the Titania as they got back in their cars and sped away from the school. Natsu and Gray laughing at how scared they were. "Man, having rich friends aren't so bad!" Natsu noted.
"Erza sure got into her role pretty well." Wendy said.
"That's Erza for you!" Happy stated.
Haruhi, Yuki and Kyo on the other hand just sighed while sweatdropping. "Damn these rich people." They thought.
Lucy led the way to where the group was going, since she hadn't told them exactly where they were going. So everyone was just talking, sharing different stories with one another about funny or stupid things they've done. Even Team Natsu was joining in the conversations and everyone just laughed at the dumb things that the team had gone through in missions. At one point, Natsu and Kyo began to argue but that was a quick fix with the help of Erza.
It was started as just Kyo bragging about his master and how he trained in the mountains for a couple months, to which Natsu decided to talk about his own experiences training with Igneel and how hard that was day and night. No one knew how it became a battle of how hard the other was trained, but they all just facepalmed at how alike the dragon slayer and the cat were. Gray and Yuki thinking that they were such immature children who were also mirror images of one another.
Luckily, the Titania decided to silence the both of them with a deadly glare and a sword aimed to their necks, both boys cowering in fear. Natsu was already used to that kind of treatment whenever he would fight with Gray, but Kyo made a mental note to never get any woman who is a part of Fairy Tail angry. He had learned enough from Lucy that there are many Kagura's out there in the world and he was not about to deal with that kind of reality.
It was when Lucy stopped walking that everyone took in where they were. Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy's eyes widened when they recognized the scent of the place they stopped in front of and they looked at Lucy in pure confusion. The celestial mage in question just looked up at the entrance that led to the traditional japanese house that stood in front of them, everyone else soon realizing just where they were and they couldn't help but look at Lucy in anger and confusion.
"Well... we're here." Lucy said.
Before she could walk through the gate and head to the main house, Hikaru and Kaoru took hold of each of her wrists. "Lucy, are you going insane!?" They both asked in unison.
"This is the main house of the Sohmas! Meaning Akito is in there!" Hikaru said.
"You're seriously going to go back in after being trapped there for practically half a year!?" Kaoru asked.
Tamaki crossed his arms and stared at Lucy with a disapproving look. "I don't know why you brought us here Lucy, but I suggest we leave and go back to Shigure's house now before Akito knows we're here."
Everyone began to turn around and walk away, the Hitachiin twins already ready to drag the blonde away, but Lucy shook their hands off her wrist and stood her ground. "He already knows I'm coming." She simply stated, making the others turn around with wide eyes.
"Excuse me?" Carla asked.
"Lucy, you can't be serious." Pantherlily said. "How could he know you're coming? You had no chance to speak with him!"
"When I talked with Shigure last night, I had asked him to deliver a message for me earlier today while we were at school." Lucy explained. "I told him to tell Akito that I would be coming here after school to confront him before going back to Ouran. That there's no way he could avoid this unless he is too much of a coward to face me."
"But why!?" Honey asked with a worried look. "That guy is just a big meanie!"
"We're all just curious Lucy." Kyoya said, pushing up his glasses. "What would you gain from trying to talk it out with Akito? He would possibly just try to take you away again and capture us as well."
Lucy just smiled at her friends worrying for her, Team Natsu soon understanding what she was going to do and relaxed. They knew she had a plan and was prepared to face Akito unlike last time, which means that the same thing will not happen again. Natsu gave off his signature fanged grin with his hands resting behind his head while Happy sighed at the idea of what Lucy will do. Erza just crossed her arms with an approving nod and Gray just smirked with his hands in his pockets.
"Okay then Lucy, if that's the plan then do as you like." Erza said, surprising everyone else.
"What!? But Erza, Akito will-"
"Aww c'mon Wendy! When have you ever doubted Lucy before?" Gray asked, cutting the sky dragon slayer off as he ruffled her hair a bit. "Besides, it's not like he can go against us Fairy Tail mages anyway."
"Yeah, unless he's asking for a good old beat down of course!" Natsu said, raising his fist while lighting it on fire. "Now that we have Luce, we don't have to hold back if he tries anything!
Happy just shrugged and sighed at his best friend's statement. "That's Natsu for you."
"Uh... just try not to burn the house down..." Tohru said as she sweatdropped at Natsu's words.
Juvia looked to Gajeel, who had a stern look on his face. The water mage knew that the iron dragon slayer thought of Lucy as a little sister after all they had gone through since being forgotten by the guild and was very protective of her. It was obvious that his feelings were the same as Tamaki's but just a bit less than the level of anxiety the elder Suoh had. So Juvia just smiled and placed her hand on his shoulder, making him look at her with a raised eyebrow.
"If she can destroy a part of a forest during training, she'll be just fine." The bluenette said, making Gajeel smirk in return, knowing that she was right.
"You're right." He said, going up to the hosts who sensed his presence and looked at him. "Don't worry about Lucy, we're all gonna be in there with her so she'll be fine."
"Are you sure about that?" Haruhi asked, voicing the worry in the rest of the hosts.
"If that Akito guy tries anything, I'm sure Bunny Girl has everything figured out." Gajeel reassured them. "Besides, Titania over there doesn't just agree with any plan you know? She and the rest of them probably know what's going in that head of hers."
Tamaki looked at his younger sister reluctantly. Even though he knew that Akito could never best the fairies in any shape or form, he couldn't shake the doubt out of his head. He was still traumatized from losing Lucy and he didn't know what he would do if she was ever taken away from him again. His father, Yuzuru, sure had panicked and got many to search for her, but Tamaki himself had practically gone insane. Taking his anger out on the others hosts and some of the female students. To the point he had to close himself off.
But the look on the celestial mage's face said it all, it showed her determination and her certainty that nothing bad was going to happen. He knew that face well. He has the same one himself whenever there was a risk and the other hosts knew that once the idea was in either Suoh siblings' head, nothing others could do would be able to change it. They would just fail. So the hosts just sighed with a hopeful and supportive smile and nodded to the girl, making her beam with delight.
"Okay Lucy..." Tamaki replied in defeat. "I trust you."
Lucy immediately let out the breath that she had been holding in and ran to her older brother, hugging him gratefully. "Thank you..." She said, knowing that he was giving up despite the risks.
The elder Suoh broke the hug and nodded, looking up at the large area of japanese houses. "Alright then, let's go!"
Once they entered the house, Shigure was already waiting for them at the first corridor. Lucy simply nodded to greet him, which the writer just nodded in return. He could feel the hosts, fairies and the 2 Sohmas glare at him while Tohru and Wendy just went about their way in the awkward silence. Shigure expected that kind of treatment and just sighed, going ahead of the younger Suoh and leading the way to Akito's room where the family head awaited.
"She's here, Akito." Shigure said as he opened the sliding door.
The head Sohma was laying on his side, his head resting on the palm of his hand while facing the the opposite way to stare at the garden. He didn't make any sound to acknowledge the group's presence, nor did he seem to care, which made everyone except Lucy, Tohru and Shigure angry. But of course, they didn't dare say a word since Lucy had only brought them there for support and what is to be said is up to her.
The celestial mage sighed and entered the room first, kneeling about a meter away from Akito. Everyone slowly followed, either stayed standing while leaning on the wall or kneeling down 2 to 3 meters away from Lucy. It stayed silent and Lucy could see the sun begin to descend as it turned evening. As much as she wanted to say something, she knew that it was only right for Akito to say something first since they all did just barge in with a last minute message.
The black haired man said nothing at first, realizing that Lucy was waiting for him to start the conversation first. He scoffed and proceeded to raise his free hand with his index finger out so that a bird may land on it. "So... you've come back have you?"
"I have." Lucy replied, straightening her back at the sound of his voice.
"Why?" Akito asked. "I was told that you wanted to tell me something... so out with it and get out."
His attitude made the fairies growl in low tones, but Lucy only raised her hand to silence them. "Why did you kidnap me, Akito?" She asked. "We had never met until after you kidnapped me, so what did I do for you to hate me so much?"
Her question made Akito twitch, making the bird fly away. He stared at the sky for a moment before getting up, not bothering to turn around. "'Why did you do to make me hate you', you ask?" He repeated, his body suddenly shaking. He gnashed his teeth before turning around quickly with a furious look in his eyes, dashing to hurt the blonde. "JUST YOU BEING ALIVE IS A REASON ENOUGH!"
"Lucy!" Everyone yelled in alarm, the girl in question just sitting still completely calm.
Before any one of them could reach her and just as Akito was about to throw a punch to her face, a golden barrier of magic surrounded her, the hosts, fairies, Shigure, Kyo, Yuki and Tohru. Akito had collided with the barrier and was immediately pushed back with force, his body rolling across the sheets of bamboo flooring. The others were confused with barrier surrounding them as well and saw that it had prevented blow darts from hitting each of them. Once it dismissed, the darts had fallen to the ground.
The younger Suoh just sighed and closed her eyes calmly, nothing of the event fazing her the slightest bit. As everyone was recovering from the interference of her barrier, Lucy opened her eyes to look behind the open sliding door. "You can come out now, Kagura... Hatori." She said, surprising everyone in the room. "I know you didn't want to do that."
Everyone watched as the 2 Sohmas peaked from behind the sliding door, the tool to launch the blow darts in their hands. Kagura looked terrified and was shaking from what she had done. "How... how did you know we were going to be here?" She asked.
"I didn't." Lucy said. "It was just a precaution. I had thought that Akito would attempt to separate me from everyone again and the last time blow darts hit everyone back when I was Aya, I had seen you before I lost consciousness. Though, I had a feeling Hatori would be here too since there are more of us."
"What!?" Akito shouted, getting up to stand.
"It was you who blew blow darts at us the other day Kagura!?" Kyo asked, a hint of anger evident in his voice.
"Well, yes but-"
"Don't blame it on her, Kyo." Hatori replied calmly, cutting the brunette off. "She was bribed to. Someone, that I will not name, would've gotten hurt if she had not obeyed."
"Akito bribed her!?" Yuki exclaimed.
"You bribed someone of your own family!?" Tamaki added.
"I also already know the true reason as to why you had taken me away, Akito." Lucy continued to speak in a stern tone, as if no one had said anything, no one daring to interrupt her again. "You had thought that once all cursed with the Zodiac learnt of the existence of mages and how they would be immune to the curse because of the magic in their veins, they would go there to seek refuge."
"Yes and what of it!? Now that they know everyone will just up and leave! And it's all thanks to you!"
"However, what you didn't know is that before you had even found out, some people of the Zodiac already knows of mine and other mages' existence!" Lucy shouted, making the head Sohma go silent. "Yet even with the knowledge of being free with people who would accept the curse, they still chose to stay!"
"You're lying!" Akito replied, denying the words Lucy said. "Just because Yuki and Kyo know it, it doesn't count! They are probably excited to be free from me, even though they know they can't! Shigure only knows of it because of them!"
"It's not just them, Akito!" Hatori shouted, making everyone's attention turn to him. "Ayame, Haru, Momiji, Kagura and even myself knew of the young girl's magic! We didn't say anything because we knew you would get the wrong idea and hurt the girl!"
"Ha'ri..." The Sohmas in the room and Tohru thought.
Lucy smiled gratefully at the doctor and turned back to the head Sohma, who had gone silent at the revelation. "Even though you you oppressed them in more ways than one, Akito, you're still their family and nothing will change that, no matter if they dislike you or not." She said, the eyes of Team Natsu's widening at her words.
"You're the one to talk." Akito scoffed, sitting down to regain composure. "You don't know what it feels like to be in my position."
"You're right... I don't know." Lucy replied, getting up to move so that she could kneel right in front of him. "But I do know, that regardless of how each one of them may feel about you, you are still family to them and they could never really push you away even if they wanted to. That... I am certain of."
Akito stayed silent in thought, raising his head so that he could look at the blonde in the eyes. There was so much that he could see in them: Sympathy. Determination. Certainty. Fear. Truth. "You know... huh?" He asked.
Lucy smiled at those words and immediately went to hug him, everyone's mouths dropping wide at her actions, including Akito. "I do... especially since I also knew from the moment I saw you back when I was Aya... that you were forced to take on the role of a man without complaint." Lucy whispered so that no one, not even the dragon slayers could hear.
Once she broke the hug, the celestial mage smiled at the head Sohma, who just blushed and turned away. "Well... aren't you the ever observant one." She said sarcastically with a scoff, the Sohmas in the room dumbfounded by the behaviour.
"Did... Akito just... blush... while making a sarcastic comment!?" They thought in utter shock.
The younger Suoh blinked twice before bursting out in laughter, which made the tense atmosphere somehow disappear and any trace of hostile feeling dispersed into the air. "I didn't expect a big leap in perspective, but it is a start!" Lucy replied, wiping a tear away from her face. "That kind of attitude suits you very well."
Akito pouted, which made her realize exactly what Lucy was getting at. She narrowed her eyes in embarrassment and anger before turning her body away from everyone so they don't see her flushed face. After all, this is the first person other than her own mother and Shigure to know that Akito was actually a girl. "If that's all you wanted to say, then get out!" She demanded.
Lucy giggled again, getting up so that she could stand and smiled. "I'll definitely visit you again if I ever come back here, Akito!" She said before walking over to the others, who had regained composure when they noticed the blonde was leaving. "Don't be too harsh on everybody in the meantime, okay?"
"I said get out!" Akito repeated, everyone immediately rushing out of the room with Lucy waving bye as they forced her out. Once they were gone, the girl sat back down and stared at the setting sun again. "That blonde girl..."
