Chapter 1
It was a late night as Flip walked around the streets listing to music.He looked up seeing a girl and robot getting chased by GHQ.He saw her falling down and jumped into the water and pulled her up.He helped her to his place he lived since he lost his friends to the Apocalypse Virus.He bandaged her wound."Are you all right ,the name is Flip"He said.She looked around and saw a gold key and a mask that covered half a face."My name is Inori , those items are interesting"She said.He nodded they belonged to my friends they lost thier lives due to the virus"He said.
She smiled at him noticing he was sad.He heard footsteps as she hid the robot upstairs. He saw the soldiers aiming for Inori asking her to surrender.He grabbed his deck along with the gold key and placed it around his neck.He pushed the soldiers and they pushed him down.She noticed and tossed the vile at Flip.He then noticed the crown on his hand and noticed the cards glowing.He picked a card and pulled out the powers of the monster.He noticed it was Utopia and Inori watched as he fought with the sword taking down the solders."What was that"He asked.
She nodded as he pulled a sword from her "A void I guess duel monster cards have them as well"She said passing out."Interesting Flip"Astral said.Flip rubbed his eyes noticing him."Have you been with me all this time Astral"He asked.Astral nodded yes "I know its hasn't been easy for you Flip , but I have a feeling things will get better"He said.Flip rubbed the back of his head " Thanks Astral"He said as the voids returned to Utopia and Inori.
He noticed Inori was still asleep and went into his fridge.He took out some chicken and rice balls he had leftover and reheated.She woke up and noticed the food.He smiled placing a plate in front of her."Thanks Flip"She said as she started to eat.He smiled "Your Welcome Inori , I am a fan of your music"He said.She nodded looking at half the mask " why does it seem like part of its missing"She asked.He nodded "It broke when i picked it up it belong to a friend name Vetrix"He said.
She hugged Flip noticing tears."Thanks"He said and noticed Enclaves break down the door.He looked at Astral "What are card do you suggest Astral"He said.Astal nodded chosing number 17.He nodded pulling out the card's void.He noticed it was a ninja star its void.He tossed it at the enclaves and noticed it was a water typhoon attack that destroyed all the enclaves.Meanwhile in the distance a guy with blonde hair watched."Gai what are your orders , Should we get Inori and that boy"Tsugumi and Ayase asked."Not yet let him discover the power of the voids for now , But Tsugumi send orders to Inori to be safe"Gai said."Yes boss"Tsugumi said.
Meanwhile number 17 void was placed back in the card.Flip looked at the card and took a breath.Astral nodded nice job checking the area.He noticed Inori getting a text."Who is it from Inori"He asked.She nodded handing him her phone."Gai says to stay safe"He read taking her phone."So your boss , so whats the deal"He asked.She turned and nodded " I am part of a group funeral parlor , we are the enemies of GHQ"She said.He nodded " I promise to protect you Inori"He said.She felt her heart race "Thanks Flip"She said kissing him on the check.He blushed " so lets get some rest , I still have school tomorrow"He said.She nodded and both went to bed after finishing thier meals.
