Ron angrily thrusted the Marauder's Map toward Harry.
"It's been ages since they have both been off the map, mate."
Harry heavily sighed as he unfolded the enchanted parchment, taking another glance over the corridors and rooms of Hogwarts. He knew Ron wasn't going to let this drop if Hermione didn't step into the common room in the next few seconds.
"I'll grab my cloak. We'll take a look, but we may not even be able to get into the Room while they are in there. We haven't a clue what Dumbledore has them doing." Ron grinned and Harry had a very bad feeling about his decision.
Snape's presence on the seventh floor made an attempt at entering the Room of Requirement impossible, so Harry and Ron crept as quietly as possible back toward their common room.
Behind the door to the Come-and-Go Room, Draco and Hermione chuckled softly as they embraced. They knew that they had been in the room for hours now, but aside from their work on the Vanishing Cabinet, they were taking their time to be together. They needed these stolen moments, at least for the next few months. Draco lifted the hand that rested on Hermione's back and softly brushed her cheek with the back of his fingers.
"Won't you tell them soon, mon cœur?" he implored.
Hermione leaned into Draco's affection before turning her head to press a kiss to the inside of his wrist.
"Perhaps it's time," she said, a smirk on her full lips. "If for no other reason than they won't interrupt us again." Draco's returning smirk barely graced his face before Hermione used the hand at the back of his neck to pull him back in for another kiss. "And they should know how happy I am with this assignment."
