The two girls stood hugging each other in the warm embrace as the guild members stood there in shock unable to process the information just given to them.

"I missed you so much! Where have you been?" Lucy inquired as she hugged the girl tighter.

"I missed you too Luce, I've been traveling a lot lately. Being the number one wizard saint and all means a lot of towns tend to need your help. That and I've been attending some council meetings as one of the elite members." The girl said quieter, fully aware of the silence surrounding them.

Lucy grinned happy her long lost friend had found fairytail. Baylee however, could smell the other dragonslayers and knew they would be on her in a matter of moments but until then she would enjoy the peaceful hug. But, like all good things, the hug came to an end as the brunette turned to the master.

"Can I join or what? I've been looking for a place to call home, and I promise I won't cause too much trouble" she said holding her hand up in a peace sign while a wide grin spread across her tan cheeks. Makarov closed his eyes in thought before nodding rather reluctantly.

"Maybe having a sensible dragonslayer, besides Wendy, will be good for the guild. And maybe it will teach them some well needed manners about not destroying towns" Master Makarov said in his mid toned voice. Baylee cheered with much earned excitement. She ran over and hugged makarov with a strength much like Erza's though not as hard considering she wore rather thin clothes instead of armour. She let go and pointed to the left side of her waist right above her hip bone.

"If it's not too much trouble i would like to have my mark here please, then I have an excuse not to wear the heavy robes the counsel provides" she said her skin slightly beginning to glow with happiness. Literally, she was glowing. Upon coming to this realization Levy seemed to snap out of her stupor and cover her eyes as she glowed brighter, Mira soon following soot. Soon everyone was covering their eyes complaining of the brightness. This brought the glowing girl back from her land of fantasy and she quickly dimmed herself.

"S-sorry everyone! I guess I let my powers slip away for a moment. Having a lot of different powers makes it hard to control the little things sometimes" she sheepishly looked away with a small apologetic smile. After the room began to grow darker, Mirajane walked over with the stamp in her hand and a smile on her face and securely stamped her side effectively marking the young woman. She grinned as Makarov declared a party in her honor. She sat at the bar and watched as most of her new family partying it up, until the loud banging of a fist on the counter caught her attention. She turned to face the culprit, and was facing the guild's resident iron dragonslayer.

"Hello may I help you with something?" She took note of his angry expression and his stiff rugged body language saying he was ready to attack at moments notice.

"Do you know where the dragons are?" His rough voice asked. She smiled slightly as if she knew a secret that she couldn't say.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't. My memory is really bad I'm not sure if I quite remember" She said coyly, a small grin on her lips as she stared at the group again.

"Don't play games with me! Tell me now" he growled aggressively. She chuckled and stood up stretching.

"I know where one dragon is but she isn't too fond of your dragon at all" she walked to the second floor of the building looking over not the s class missions but the hundred year missions. She looked them over before being called out by the fire dragon slayer.

"FIGHT ME!" he roared jumping on the landing shaking the thing. Baylee ignored the fired up slayer and took the harder of the two.

"This one should suffice" she walked to the stairs only to discover the fire mage was blocking her way.

"Fight me. If I win you take us to the dragon" he was dead serious. This wasn't what she expected of the infamous Salamander, this must've been important. His body language screamed stubbornness.

"There's no need to fight. When I return I'll take you" she stated, her playful demeanor sobering, she could feel the importance of this to her new guild members that were of dragon decent.

"That's not soon enough you're taking a hundred year job, the people who take those don't come back for years, if at all. We can't trust you'll come back safely and quickly" Natsu said his eyes bore into hers as if trying to intimidate her.

"Fine, a fight was proposed then a fight shall be held. Master hold this job please" she pushed past the slayer and handed the job to the small man. By now the entire guild had grown quiet listening to this interaction and believed that Natsu was insane.

"I'll give you a fair fight. I'll take two of you on simultaneously. Maybe then you'll have some shot at beating me" she said dead seriously. Lucy watched her friends demeanor and realized it had changed drastically in the past few minutes. This wasn't the girl she always saw growing up, memories and concerns flashed through her mind. Her friend's eyes reflected a lot of emotions some not even she could read. She saw the seriousness, the uneasiness, she was upset. Lucy knew she didn't want to fight.

"Natsu, maybe you shouldn't fight her" She tried to reason but was only met with a grin.

"Don't worry Luce I'll be fine!" he was serious still but gave her a reassuring smile.

Baylee pushed past everyone in the hall and walked outside with a determination in her that had yet to be seen.

"When you're ready come and get it."
