I do not own any Assassin's Creed characters but I do own Moira Haywood.

"So what is Jacob planning for you for Valentine's Day?" Elise asked as she stirred her staw in her smoothie.
Moira stopped from taking a bite of her food and looked up at her friend, "Oh... um, I'm not sure."
"Whaaaaat!?" Elise gasped, "You don't know?! Has he said anything?"
"No," Moira said cocking an eyebrow at Elise, "I mean, I don't expect him to do anything. We started dating after all."
"So?! That makes it all the more special!" Elise cooed.
"I don't see my brother being articulate enough to plan something, let alone a date," Evie said, not looking up from her textbook.
Elise looked at the elder Frye twin, "What about when he was dating Pearl?"
"Apparently he didn't do much except give her flowers and chocolate," Evie said looking up at the redhead, "She wasn't thrilled about that but again, Pearl is a stick in the mud. I don't know how they dated for as long as they did."
"I mean I'd be fine with just that," Moira said with a smile as she thought about Jacob giving her chocolates and flowers, "I've never been one of those big date people."
"Have you even been on a date?" Elise asked eyeing Moira.
Moira shifted lightly in her seat, "Kind of. Depends on what you consider a date."
"Dinner out, flowers, a movie, champagne, chocolates, a fuzzy teddy bear," Elise listed off with a gushy smile on her face.
Moira scrunched her nose, "I haven't and plus I think it's a little cliche to be honest."
"I agree, Moira," Evie said.
Elise then eyed Evie, "What about you and Henry?"
"Well... Henry is making dinner and we're going to watch a movie," Evie said.
Elise then eyed Evie, "Oh, no. Not cliche at all."
Evie then rolled her eyes and stood up, slinging her bag over her shoulder then placed her hand on Moira's shoulder, "I wouldn't worry about my brother, Moira. He may be an idiot but he will still do something for you."
Moira smiled at the elder Frye twin, "Thank you, Evie."
"If Jacob does cook for you, hopefully he won't burn down the kitchen," Elise chuckled.
Moira laughed, "I don't think he would be that careless but I will love whatever he does."
Moira yawned as she headed back towards her flat. She was glad that class let out early today and the day was still young. Though she hasn't heard much from Jacob except this morning when he texted her a "Happy Valentine's Day! I have plans for us!" She wondered what he had planned and frankly she was genuinely curious.
As she approached the door, Moira noticed flowers and a card on her doorstep. She smiled and picked up the bouquet to see various flowers and looked at the card to see it was an old Valentine's card from the late 1800's. She thought the card and flowers were absolutely beautiful. She turned the card over to read what he wrote.
To my beautiful girlfriend,
Valentine's Day but this isn't your gift. This is only part one and it's a treasure hunt. Your next clue is the place where we had our first date. Happy hunting and I can't wait to see you.
Moira lit up as she read the card; a treasure hunt! She couldn't believe how creative Jacob was with this. She then smirked and shook her head, knowing exactly where their first date was. She opened the door to her flat to place her bag on the ground and place the flowers in a vase. Once she was finished, she headed out the door and to the next location.
Most people wouldn't think the pub was an ideal date place but Moira didn't mind. She was excited to have her first date with Jacob since she would finally spend time with him. When he was dating Pearl, she didn't get to be with him much since she made him devote all of his time to her. Having Pearl hang out with everyone else was awkward and she could tell even Jacob felt uncomfortable at times.
When she arrived, she could see some college students in having a couple drinks and she saw the owner, Billy O'Dwyer, behind the bar and Jacob's boss. As she approached the bar, the owner looked up and smiled at her.
"Ah, Miss Moira," he said with a smile, "I thought I would see you soon."
"Really?" Moira asked cocking her head to the side.
"Jacob wanted me to give you this," he said and handing Moira a photograph.
Moira took the photograph and smile as she felt her heart melt. It was a photo of her and Jacob at the park with him kissing her cheek as she giggled. Moira then turned it over to see a note.
Great job finding the clue, love! Now here is the fun part, look at the picture and take note of the tree we were standing at when this picture was taken. That is where you next clue is. You're doing great and I'll see you soon!
Moira chuckled and held the picture to her chest. Jacob was so sweet and thoughtful.
"Jacob told me what he was doing for you for Valentine's Day," Billy said with a smile, "He's a good kid."
"I feel lucky to have him," Moira said and tucked away the picture, "Thank you, Mr. O'Dwyer."
"Anytime, Miss Moira," Billy said with a smile.
Moira left the pub and began to head towards the park. She wondered what was so special about the tree Jacob had mentioned in the note. Once she reached the tree, Moira saw that Jacob wasn't there. So what was special? She then began to look around the tree but couldn't find anything until she noticed the tree had a hollow. Peeking in there, she saw a book which made her light up. Pulling out the book, Moira gasped when she saw it was an original copy of Alice in Wonderland. She couldn't believe it and wondered how he came by the copy. She then opened the book to see another picture of them together with a note on the back.
You're incredible at this! I hope you like your other gift but it still isn't over! Head towards the middle of the park for the rest of your surprise.
Moira was surprised from all that he is doing for her. She ran her fingers over the cover of the worn book but smiled. She then began to make her way towards the middle of the park then took notice of her boyfriend sitting on the ground but surrounded by what looked like to be a picnic. Jacob took notice of her and instantly brightened up with a smile.
"Moira!" he chirped as he stood up to greet her.
As she approached, Jacob planted a soft kiss on her lips and Moira kissed back then looked at the picnic, "What's all this?"
"Figured we could have a nice picnic lunch in the park," Jacob said, "Do you like it?"
"This is wonderful," Moira said with a large smile on her face, "I can't believe you did this. Though, did Evie help you with this?"
"I've no idea what you're talking about," Jacob scoffed.
"I'll take that as a yes," Moira giggled only for Jacob to poke her sides making her laugh more.
They both sat down and Moira looked back at the Alice in Wonderland book, "Jacob, where ever did you find this copy of Alice in Wonderland?"
"Oh, it's been in the family for generations. Belonged to my great great great grandmother," Jacob said, "Was going through things at home during Christmas break and I found it. Mum said I could have it to give to you."
Moira looked up at him surprised, "I-I can't accept it then! It's a family heirloom."
Jacob chuckled, "It's fine, really, Moira. I know you appreciate things like this and it's your favorite book."
"That's so sweet of you, Jacob..." Moira said softly, "But... if we ever... break up, I would understand if you want this back."
"I hope that doesn't happen," Jacob mentioned and took her hand into his.
Moira smiled lightly at what he said, "Me neither..."
"I'd be mad if I managed to lose you," Jacob said, "I love you."
Moira looked at him with wide eyes and not believing what she was hearing, "S-say that that again."
Jacob chuckled, "I love you, Moira."
Moira felt her heart swell at his words then threw her arms around him. Jacob wrapped his arms around Moira and fell over still laughing. He could see tears in her eye which concerned him, "Moira, what's wrong?"
She shook her head while giving him a reassuring smile, "I'm just happy... no one has gone above and beyond to do something like this for me... and to finally hear you say you love me... it's overwhelming."
"Evie's mentioned that your past boyfriends weren't that great and I wanted to show you how much I do care for you," Jacob said rubbing her back, "I do mean it when I say I love you."
Moira set her forehead against his with a wider smile, "I love you too, Jacob."
Jacob smiled and placed a kiss on her lips then forehead, "Not what say you and I dig into this food that I have made?"
Moira snorted out a laugh while getting off of him, "You made or Evie made?"
Jacob pouted at her and puffed out his chest in confidence, "Oi, I made most of this myself... with Evie's help."
Moira giggled and gave him a tender smile, "I can't wait."
Jacob smiled back and began to pull some food from the picnic basket. Moira gazed lovingly at her boyfriend, still not believing how amazing he was for doing this for her. All the previous boyfriends she has had would never go above and beyond like this. She thanked Jacob as he handed her a plate with coronation chicken sandwiches, biscuits with jam along with little sausage and egg pies. Moira was impressed with the picnic layout but loved it nonetheless.
After they had finished everything in the picnic basket, including the dessert, Moira had invited Jacob to her flat to watch a few movies. He happily took up the offer and held her hand as they headed back to her flat. As they walked, Moira could see other happy couples and for once, she could finally be one of those people who are happily in love. She set her head on his shoulder while walking only for him to kiss the top of her head.
After a few movies, Moira had decided to put on Moulin Rouge much to Jacob's dissatisfaction. Moira couldn't help but laugh but begged him since they watched horror movies about Valentine's Day and Moira wanted one sappy romance movie which she admits isn't great. Jacob agreed and was kinda interested to see how good this bad movie was.
Halfway into the movie, Jacob couldn't help but laugh at some of the cheesy songs that they used and how over the top everyone was. He wasn't going to admit that the movie was pretty decent. Though during the parts where Christian and Satine were being tender and close, he couldn't help but glance down at Moira. Moira caught his gaze and blushed slightly.
"What?" Moira chuckled lightly.
He shook his head and kissed the tip of her nose, "Happy Valentine's Day, love."
Moira smirked and placed her hand on the back of his neck and brought him down for a kiss. He happily accepted her kiss and brought her closer to him. As she pulled away, Moira looked into his deep hazels, "Happy Valentine's Day."
A/N: Welp, here was my annual Valentine's Day one-shot with these two. Hope you enjoyed. Plus my friend had me watch Moulin Rouge recently and I thought it was enjoyable so might as well add it in here!
