This was supposed to be the epilogue of a fic about my OC Gloria, who became the first companion after Rose and whose job it was to "pick up the pieces". She served as a filler companion until the Doctor felt ready to move on - but of course things weren't as easy as that. It's a *songfic* to Chris de Burgh's version of The last thing on my mind.
