A/N: Hello again guys, it's DrPhill here again with another chapter for you guys to enjoy. So Tyler, have to ask now that it's finally happened. How does it feel to have caught a Pokémon?

Tyler: I can't put it into words dude. I'm so happy to have another Pokémon on my team.

DrPhill26: And somebody as jovial as Felix as well. I don't think I've ever seen a Pokémon as naturally happy as Felix is.

Tyler: Yeah no, it's awesome. And his infectious good mood has got me wanting to do something sweet to celebrate.

DrPhill26: What'd you have in mind?

Tyler: Well, it's been a while since I did anything in a kitchen. I think I'll try whipping up a little something sweet for the occasion.

DrPhill26: Just save some for Wendy. We both know she's got a devilish sweet tooth.

Tyler: I just hope I can scratch her itch.

DrPhill26: I just hope this chapter scratches our reader's itches too. So enjoy yourselves guys. New chapter, go have fun.

"Come on… stupid room key." Tyler complained through clenched teeth that held a small bag of groceries as he tried finding the room key to his and Wendy's room at the Pokémon Center. He finally found the elusive key in his back right pocket, pulled it out and slid the key into the lock above the handle. He gave the card a pull, but the light on the lock flashed red, forcing him to try again with a moan. This time it was green and the door unlocked so Tyler stepped inside of his room.

His and Wendy's room was slightly larger than a standard hotel room, mostly earthy in its colors with a brown tiled floor and walls. Tyler set the bag of groceries on a countertop in the small kitchenette by the front door, which they received in lieu of needing two beds since him and Wendy were a couple and willing to share a bed. Unfortunately, Tyler had spent the night alone in said bed, which still had ruffled sheets strewn about on top of it. Tyler checked the bathroom on the other side of the kitchenette, seeing no sign of Wendy anywhere.

"Jeez, she's still not back yet?" Tyler frowned looking back at the chaotic display of bed sheets. "Oh well. If she's not back yet, that makes this more of a surprise for her when she does come back." Tyler's frown quickly changed into a smile as he started pulling out the limited groceries that he'd purchased from a nearby market with some of Derrick's prize money. He never did count the money until this morning, but he'd given him almost 5000 for beating him yesterday in their Pokémon battle, which Tyler spent a small amount of on a few items at the market to make a little sweet surprise with the berries Felix and Magnus helped find yesterday. He'd bought a bunch of white chocolate squares, heavy and whipped cream, sugar, a small amount of gelatin mix and some Nomel Berry juice.

"Okay, ingredients are set, now I need my sous chefs." Tyler grabbed his four Poké balls and released each of his Pokémon into the small kitchen. Each one of Tyler's Pokémon looked up at Tyler curiously as he crouched down to their level. "Alright guys, I want to whip up a little sweet treat with those berries Felix helped us bring back from the meadow yesterday. I'm gonna need all of your help to do this." All of Tyler's Pokémon except Magnus nodded their heads in unison. Tyler's glutton of a Quilava already had his eyes and mouth watering, already dreaming about the sweet tasting food that he was potentially going to enjoy later.

"Yes Magnus, there will be some for you when we're done."

"Lava!" Magnus quickly jumped ahead to Tyler's side; ready to help in whatever way he was needed.

"So, we're making a white chocolate mousse today with all the extra Rawst berries we picked yesterday that Felix helped us find."

"Gligar!" Felix saluted Tyler with his seemingly permanent smile still plastered to his face.

"Now I'm gonna need all of you guys to help me out in some way while we do this." Tyler stepped over Magnus and opened a low cupboard, pulling out a small blender a wire whisk, a portable blender and a few mixing bowls, placing each item on the countertop next to the bag of ingredients. He then picked up the gelatin mix and one of the bowls, filling it with a small amount of water and adding the yellow powder. With the whisk, Tyler quickly mixed the two together before placing the bowl before Yuki.

"I need you to chill this for me. Just try not to freeze it okay Yuki?"

"Glaceon." Yuki nodded, looking into the bowl and blowing her frosted breath on it.

"Perfect, just like that." Tyler lightly patted Yuki's back before turning back to the ingredients. Grabbing another bowl and the chocolate, Tyler broke the larger bars into their individual squares and tossed all of them into the bowl. "Magnus, you're on melting duty."

"Lava!" Magnus happily nodded his head as Tyler held the bowl over a small flame on his back. "Quilava Quil!"

"Wait, how are we going to do this without making the bowl fall off? … Hey I know!" Tyler placed the bowl back on the counter and continued rummaging through the cupboard again. "There, this should do… I hope." Tyler stood back up with a rolling pin in hand, sliding it through the two handles on the side of the pan, grabbing it in the middle before holding it before Caelum.

"Caelum, you and Magnus are working together here. Use your talons to hold the pot by the pin like I am now and keep the pot above his flames."

"Star." Caelum cawed flying up and grabbing the pin and flying towards the small living area between the beds and kitchenette with Magnus watching him fly.

"Please try not to burn the chocolate guys… or the room while you're at it." Now Tyler turned back to his newest Pokémon and grabbed a knife in one hand and pushed the berries in their container towards Felix. "Felix, your job here is to hull the berries with your claws and hand them to me so I can cut them into smaller pieces for the blender."

Felix saluted Tyler as he grabbed one of the Rawst berries and cut the leaves off the top, then pushed it over to Tyler who started cutting the berry into fours with a smile on his face. It'd been so long since he'd actually done any cooking and it was already feeling good to be cooking again, even more so that he was doing it with his Pokémon. Each cut into the berries made him happier as he went and placed the cut quarters into the miniature blender. He looked up to check on his other Pokémon's progress, seeing Magnus try to find the right intensity of his flames and Yuki doing the same with her frosted breath.

Tyler continued cutting berries with Felix until the small blender was half way filled with berry chunks. He then added a splash of the Nomel berry juice, secured the lid in place and pressed the lid in, turning on the blender and holding it until the berries became a sky blue liquid in the blender. Tyler sampled the pure berry juice, thinking it was still too chunky and turned the blender back on again while he went back to chopping.

A sudden rustling of the door handle behind Tyler made him turn towards it in time to see Wendy open the door. He stopped chopping long enough to see her put the room key into a pocket on her blue athletic shorts. Wendy stretched her arms above her head and Tyler's eyes wandered up to her chest, which was covered by what Tyler recognized was the sporty zipper-top of the swimsuit she wore on the cruise ship. As she finally stepped into the room, Tyler saw both Pulse and Tess standing behind her, and that she was lightly covered in sweat that made the toned muscles of her stomach and thighs glisten. Normally, Tyler would have stared for a very long time at Wendy as she looked right now; but he was in cooking mode and had to focus on chopping berries.

"Ah, that felt so good… I haven't gone for a jog with you guys in such a long time." Wendy panted as she wiped the back of her forehead and stepped into the room. "Was it good for you guys too?"

"Pharos! Tess cooed, waving her paddle like arms towards Wendy, seeming to blow cool air towards her as Pulse quietly nodded his head.

"Oh my God Tess, thank you so much. That feels so good right now." Wendy practically collapsed against the wall, falling to a seated position. As she hit the ground, she wrapped her arms around Tess' body, pulling her head towards hers and Tyler looked over again to see a deep, appreciative kiss being planted on the Light Pokémon's lips. The jewel on Tess' tail glowed a faint pink color and a few jolts of electricity sparked between the Pokémon's ears as she kissed her master. Again, Tyler had to remind himself he had more chopping to do in order to tear his gaze away from the electrifying display a few feet away. That and to kick himself for making another of Wendy's punny jokes.

"I fucking love you Tess." Wendy loudly whispered as she broke off from Tess' kiss. "This is just heavenly."

"Is it now?" Tyler cheekily laughed as he turned on the blender once again, gaining Wendy's and her Pokémon's attention. He knew they were looking at him, so he waved the tips of his fingers towards them so he could say hi while still being focused on the blender.

"Well, you're pretty busy this morning too cutie-Ty. What's all this?" Wendy asked looking around the room and seeing Tyler's Pokémon still doing their respective jobs.

"Nothing too special." Tyler said as Felix handed him another berry. "Just making a mousse for our date today."

"We have a date today?"

"Surprise." Tyler playfully stuck his tongue out at Wendy as he threw another handful of berries into the blender. "Hey, can you check on the chocolate that Magnus and Caelum are melting while I blend this?" As the blender's whirring filled the room again, Wendy stood up with Pulse's help and walked towards Magnus.

"Um, it looks kind of lumpy." Wendy commented. "Like, it looks pretty melted in the middle, but there are chunks all over the place."

"Perfect." Tyler grabbed an oven pad and threw it over towards Wendy, hitting her in the back. "Magnus, you and Caelum take a break for a bit. Wendy, could you bring that pan over here please?" Wendy picked up the pad and grabbed the bowl with two hands, bringing it over to Tyler and placing it in front of him. "We've got enough berries now Felix, so take the whisk and stir the chocolate till the lumps are gone. Nice and slow circles."

"Gligar!" Felix grabbed the whisk from Tyler's hand and landed on the opposite side of the counter, startling Wendy and making her briefly shriek as she hadn't yet noticed the pink scorpion amongst Tyler's Pokémon.

"Um… who is this?" Wendy asked as Tyler walked over to check on Yuki's work.

"That's Felix the Gligar." Tyler replied as he stuck a finger in the gelatin water Yuki was chilling. "Good job Yuki. You can take a break too."

"Felix huh?" Wendy said looking at the scorpion as he began spinning the whisk around at a slow pace. He looked up at Wendy and offered one of his already patented smiles which she couldn't help but return. "I already like him. All Pokémon should have a smile like this guy does."

"That's an understatement." Tyler laughed as he rubbed the back of Felix's head. "I met him yesterday on Route 206 and he got along with all three of my guys at once. Not to mention he's a pretty crafty fighter, and really good at finding berries." Tyler added after popping an unused berry in his mouth. "Go ahead and help yourself, there's still a lot more in the mini fridge."

"You know, I seem to recall you saying something about you being the desert making type." Wendy opened the door and pulled out the container of leftover Rawst Berries and biting into one of them, quietly savoring the freshness of its taste before turning back to Tyler. "To be honest I didn't believe it."

"Magnus, I need you and Caelum again." Tyler called as his two Pokémon moved back towards their trainer. He grabbed the last unused pan and quickly threw a small amount of the cream and sugar in pan and swiftly mixed it together. "Just like before you guys, maybe crank back the heat a bit this time." Tyler said handing Caelum the pan and the rolling pin grip. As they went back to where they went earlier, he pushed Yuki's gelatin mix to Wendy. "I need you to gradually mix this in with their sugar cream. Here's a mixing spoon."

"Ooh~, Chef Tyler has a bossy side in the kitchen." Wendy teasingly poked Tyler's nose with the end of the spoon. "And I'm totally okay with that, but I need to take a shower before I can help you. Unless you don't mind me sweating all over your desert."

"Fair enough." Tyler flipped the spoon around in his hand, picking up the bowl with his other hand and walking over towards Magnus and Caelum. Wendy tried to walk past Tyler towards the shower but he grabbed her by the arm. "Hey, let me get a good look at you first before you disappear for a bit. I haven't seen this much of you in a long time."

"Well, play your cards right and maybe you'll see more tonight." Wendy giggled to herself as she pulled Tyler into her arms and laid a heavy kiss on his lips. She held him there a moment, wrapping her arms around him to pull Tyler even closer. She moaned into the kiss, but just as Tyler was starting to press for more, she pinched his lower lip between hers and pulled away from him, leaving him wanting and waiting as she teasingly walked to the bathroom.

Once the bathroom door closed again, Tyler quickly went back to work mixing in the gelatin mix with the cream that Magnus was heating. For the next few minutes, Tyler carefully mixed in the gelatin as he needed while also monitoring Felix's progress on smoothing the chocolate. With his mixture finished, Tyler took this new mixture and poured it into Felix's bowl, telling the scorpion that he could handle the rest of the mixing and to take a break. Picking up the wire whisk, Tyler began furiously whipping the two ingredients together and started adding in some of the berries he'd been working on earlier, making a deep blue swirl in the middle of the chocolate. By the time Wendy had come out of the shower, Tyler had smoothed out the mixture to a flat but fluffy mixture of sky blue sweetness. He lifted the whisk out of the bowl, scooping up a small amount of the mixture on his finger.

"Is it done yet?" Wendy asked as she saw Tyler grab a second sample with his finger. Before Tyler could say anything himself, Wendy grabbed Tyler's finger and placed it in her mouth, lightly sucking the chocolaty mixture off it.

"It's getting there, but I'm not quite finished yet." Tyler said as Wendy pulled Tyler's finger out of her mouth.

"Oh my God Tyler, this is actually really good." Wendy reached for one of the mixing spoons still covered in chocolate and began licking the spoon. Each time she did, her eyes rolled back in her head a little bit and she looked at Tyler in awe. "For the record, caramel cupcakes. If you want to get in my heart or beneath my skirt, that is the fastest way to do it. Not that you need the help, but you know… wink."

"Okay seriously Wendy, what's up with you today? You're acting…" Tyler paused a moment as he caught himself mesmerized at watching Wendy lick more of the chocolate mix of the spoon. "Well I don't want to say it but you're acting even more…"

"Flirty than normal?"

"Not quite the word I was going to use, but I guess that's right." Wendy let out a disappointed sigh as she realized she'd licked the spoon clean. "Did something happen to you yesterday in Solaceon Town?"

"Oh nothing, I just spent the day with Yuri and took care of a few errands back in Hearthome like forwarding your article to my boss at Sweet Kiss."

"You finished my article and didn't let me read it first?" Tyler shot Wendy an alarmed look, but she apparently didn't see it because she continued talking like she hadn't said anything strange.

"And now I'm really excited that we're going on a date today. This will be our first official date and if you didn't notice already, I tend to get overly flirty when I get excited." Wendy walked over to what was her half of the bed and started rummaging through some clothes. "Aside from this super sweet deliciousness, what did you have in mind?"

"Uh…I dunno," Tyler replied, being caught off guard by the unexpected question. "I just thought we could go to that park on the north side of town and hang out since it's still gorgeous out. You know, see where the day takes us kind of date because I'm not the best at planning."

"Nice relaxing outdoor date huh? Then it's a good thing I stopped by my apartment before coming back here." Wendy stood back up, holding a short cyan colored dress and pressed it against her body that went down to just above her knees. "Cute right? I bought this when I was in Kalos. I don't get to wear it often but I had a feeling I would soon. Guess I was right."

"It's definitely pretty."

"Just don't peek at me now while I put it on. Or do, I don't care." Wendy winked flirtatiously as she shook her hips and the towel fell off her body. Tyler let his stare hang a bit longer than as Wendy crouched down behind the bed, but he again went back to the nearly completed mousse. Sadly, that required his full attention and he couldn't stare at Wendy as much as he wanted to. Tyler let out a light sigh at that disappointing fact, but went and channeled that frustration into creating the best mousse he could.

All that he had left to do was begin folding in the whipped cream to make the peaks fluffier and more delectable. So with the spoon Wendy hadn't been licking, Tyler did exactly that. It was difficult, Tyler would have preferred to be using an electric mixer but was making due by himself. And as Wendy finished dressing herself in her cyan sundress, he'd finished with beating the cream into the mousse.

"Finally," Tyler sighed as he wiped his forehead of sweat. "Now it just needs to be chilled and it's good to go."

"Glaceon?" Yuki poked her head around the divide of the small kitchen, looking at her trainer curiously.

"Sorry Yuki, I don't need your help with this. If it doesn't get a thorough chill, the mousse won't set properly. I need to let this sit in the fridge for a while… I can let you lick the whisk if you want though." He offered after seeing Yuki's ears droop disappointedly.

"I want to have more too!" Wendy chirped as she hopped over her Pokémon to land by Yuki's side, snatching the whisk out of Tyler's hand as she went. "Hey look at that it's the same color as Yuki's fur. And it's cold like her too."

"Huh, I didn't notice that." Tyler commented, watching Yuki lightly lick at the whisk with her tongue while Wendy did the same.

"Yuki looks so cute right now." Wendy squealed after a lengthy lick of her own. "Its times like this I wish I had an Eevee. But I've got you now so I can indulge in all my cute little Eevee-based fantasies with you. Like this one." Wendy wiped some of the mousse mixture with her finger and lightly placed it on Yuki's nose.

"G-lae?" Yuki recoiled from the surprise; then again as Wendy spread it above her mouth like a moustache. As the confused Glaceon looked to Wendy, she picked Yuki up, pulling her closer and kissing her to lick the chocolate off her face. The shock of seeing the two main girls in his life sharing a flirtatious kiss took the strength out of his legs, making him fall to his knees.

"Jeez Tyler, you'd think you've never seen two girls kiss before." Wendy laughed as she saw both Tyler and his Glaceon share the same awkward blush as each other. "What did you think Yuki? Was that your first kiss with a girl?"

"You know it was." Tyler said as he recovered from the surprise.

"Yay! I stole Yuki's first girl kiss."

"Glae… Glaceon." Yuki timidly looked back at Wendy and Tyler with the blush deepening beneath her eyes.

"Can you get any cuter Yuki? I love you so much!" Wendy stood up, hooking her arms around Yuki's body and giving her a hug. "I'm sorry if I startled you, but I couldn't resist myself. I just had to know if you tasted like the desert Tyler made."

"Does she?" Tyler snickered as Yuki looked up at Wendy in her arms and squirmed a bit.

"Glaceon." Yuki mewed softly in Wendy's ear before she returned Wendy's unexpected kiss with one of her own, lightly licking the side of Wendy's cheek.

"Did you just lick my cheek?" Wendy quickly turned to look at Yuki and began nuzzling her cheeks. "Does that mean you love me too?!"

"Glacie!"

"Oh Yuki! You just made me the happiest girl on the planet!" Wendy gleefully spun herself and Yuki around in a circle, before abruptly stopping and setting her on the floor. "Sorry, I don't want to make you dizzy again like last time."

"So, now that that's settled," Tyler began as he placed the bowl with the mousse in the fridge. "Are we ready to go on our little date Wendy?" Wendy stood up and looked at Tyler with a critical expression. He nervously looked back at her as she grabbed his arm and dragged him back towards his belongings. She looked him over a second time which felt rather uncomfortable to Tyler for some reason. It was almost like she was staring through him for some reason, judging him as she looked back and forth between him and the pile of clothing beside her. She suddenly reached into her bag and threw a shirt at Tyler; a red polo shirt with a blue diamond above the wearer's heart.

"Try this on." Tyler quickly changed into the new shirt, which fit him much better than he expected. He was surprised at first, but remembered Wendy helped pick out his jacket, so she would more than likely know his sizes. "I thought you'd like it since it matches your hair color. Now we're both ready for our date." Wendy smiled, giving Tyler an innocent peck on the cheek. She grabbed a folded up blanket and placed it in her bag, returning her Pokémon as Tyler did the same with his before she grabbed Tyler by the hand and led him to the door.

You couldn't ask for a more perfect day than it was outside when Tyler and Wendy stepped outside. Like yesterday, the air was only slightly chilled with a light breeze and only a few clouds lazily drifting across the sky. The two of them made a brief stop at a local deli along the way, picking up a couple sandwiches or a lunch and made their way towards the park.

They walked past a pair of large statues that Wendy told Tyler were of the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, which Tyler was naturally curious about. Not having a true legendary Pokémon that resided in the region, Tyler wanted to know exactly what made these two Pokémon so special. So Wendy told Tyler the three Sinnoh creation myths as best she could, telling him how Arceus was hatched from the primordial egg and creating the two Pokémon of the statues they passed. Tyler then asked why Cyrus wouldn't try to use Arceus instead of Dialga and Palkia when Arceus created them. Wendy didn't really have an answer for him, saying that Arceus only observed the world from his realm, the Hall of Origin, which apparently was over Mt. Coronet but was inaccessible even by Cyrus' ritual.

But they decided not to dwell on the past and instead enjoy each other's company in the more relaxed present. They found a nice shaded area by a lake that was perfect for their picnic date. Wendy reached into her bag and took out the blanket, tossing it on the grass beneath an oak tree. Tyler grabbed a few rocks and weighted down the corners while Wendy set up their light meal and released her Pokémon.

As Tyler released his own Pokémon, he noticed a flower-like Pokémon that must had to have been Yuri, Wendy's Lilligant whom he'd heard her talk about of late. Wendy had told Tyler that Yuri was more of a delicate Pokémon and it was easy to see why as they finally met. Yuri looked like an actual princess, with a blooming red flower on her head complete with anther shaped like a crown. She turned to look at Tyler, her light green dress flowing in the breeze around her white colored body. Yuri looked at Tyler and seeing him looking at her, held her leaf green arms at her waist and bowed respectfully towards him. Without thinking, Tyler did the same in response, watching Yuri gracefully waltz over to her trainer.

"Lilligant!" Yuri lightly tugged on her trainer's arm and pointed back at Tyler. "Lilly? Lilligant?"

"Yup, that's Tyler." Wendy pointed back at Tyler as well. "He's the guy I told you about yesterday.

"Lilly…" She looked back at Tyler again as he sat down on the blanket with Magnus and his other Pokémon surrounding him. "Lil-gant…"

"He's really nice. You'll like him once you get to know him, I promise." With her trainer guiding her, Yuri and Wendy walked to the blanket themselves, being joined by Tess and Pulse shortly after. Wendy sat down by Tyler, with Yuri on the other side of her. "Yuri is a little bit shy around new people, so don't feel too bad if she doesn't warm up to you at first."

"Nah I understand." Tyler said reaching into his bag and pulling out some food for his Pokémon. Fighting off Magnus' advancements for trying to get everyone else's food, Tyler fed his team their lunches before getting a sandwich of his own to chow down on. "If you want some of our Rawst Berries, help yourself."

"You hear that Pulse, Tess? You guys help yourself to those if you want." Wendy said reaching in her own bag. "Yuri, I've got your favorite Magost Berries here too."

"You could have told me you had Magost berries." Tyler said as Wendy handed her Lilligant a berry. "I would have loved to use those in my mousse."

"Lilligant!" Yuri joyfully bit into one of her berries and leaned into her trainer's shoulder. As she took a second bite, Tyler noticed a faint pink powder wafting in the air from Yuri's flower. Shortly after, he and everyone else for that matter smelled a sweet, relaxing fragrance fall over the group.

"Then again… I don't think I mind this either." Tyler quietly yawned to himself, handing a sandwich to Wendy.

"Don't fall asleep now Tyler, that's not Sleep Powder, that's supposed to be Sweet Scent." Wendy grinned, taking a bite of her lunch. "Lilligant's Sweet Scents are good at helping people relax though, so I can't blame you for feeling drowsy all of a sudden."

"Hey, that reminds me of something. Didn't Gardenia say that that spore stuff you got was made with the spores of flowering Pokémon like Lilligant?"

"Yeah, why'd you ask?"

"Well, I've never burnt a spore stick before, if that's what it's even called. So I'm not sure what to expect when it gets used… And now that I think about it, why were you and Gardenia so excited when you purchased it anyway?" Tyler added, remembering how the Gym Leader and Wendy both had an excited expression on their faces. Gardenia in particular had a smile on her that reminded Tyler of the overly playfully, if not impish grin Wendy so commonly toted whenever she would tease him.

"It's kind of like this actually, just with a few other scents mixed in to vary the effect."

"Yeah but what is spore? We walked out of Gardenia's shop without me knowing what it was aside from incense." Both Tyler and Wendy took a bite of their sandwiches and Tyler ripped off a leftover corner to give to Magnus.

"That's what it is, incense." Wendy said before swallowing her food. "Like Gardenia said, spore comes from mostly flowering Grass type Pokémon like Yuri. They take the spores and a few other essential oils and plants and turn them into a spore stick. We burn the stick just like incense and the effects fill the room, simple as that."

"Yeah but what does it do when you burn it?"

"The scents mix and fill the room, creating a calming atmosphere and relaxing the people who breathe it in. Depending on the blend, it can have different effects like relaxing your muscles, helping you sleep better, energizing you or more." Tyler opened his mouth again to ask another question but Wendy cut him off. "And to answer what I assume is your next question; the Tainted Rose that we bought the other day is one of the more energizing blends."

"That name still sounds suspicious though." Tyler commented as he watched his Pokémon eat. "To me, Tainted Rose sounds like there's a hidden meaning behind it."

"You're reading too much into it Tyler." Wendy laughed as she grabbed a Rawst berry for herself. "Look, we'll burn some together sometime and I'll show you that all it does is relax the mind, energize the body and make the room smell like one of the Gardens of Paradise."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Tyler relented; looking out at the lake and watching the clouds roll by above. "I should just enjoy the moment, not question it." So he did, with Wendy and all their Pokémon by their side, Tyler and Wendy both relaxed and had fun in the shade of their picnic. They talked about themselves a bit, trying to connect to each other on a deeper level. They traded stories about their Pokémon; Tyler telling how much of a handful Magnus was as a Cyndaquil and Wendy talking about how she met Tess and Yuri since Tyler already knew Pulse's backstory.

More often than not, Wendy traveled to the Unova region for her work with the Pokémon News Press, which was where she got Yuri. She'd been walking through the Pinwheel forest on her way to Narcene City to sit down with the people behind the creation of the Dream World when she found an injured Petilil being attacked by a group of Venipede. She sent out Pulse, and had him fight off the Venipede, rescuing her and allowing Wendy to bring her to the Pokémon Center for treatment. After she was healed, the Petilil wanted to stay with Wendy so she allowed herself to be captured and became Wendy's second partner.

Tess' story was a lot less heroic by comparison. Back when Pulse was still a Riolu, Wendy traveled to Floaroma town with some of her friends and ended up at the nearby wind farms. One of her friends, a girl named Lucy had a Poké radar with her and they were trying to find rare Pokémon in the area. It was at the wind farms that Wendy found Tess, still a Mareep and fell in love with how cute and soft her wool looked. She found the one with the fluffiest wool and had Pulse battle her, defeating her after a surprisingly difficult fight, but they managed to catch the Mareep together, her first official partner.

"So Tess is your first caught Pokémon huh?" Tyler said looking at the Light Pokémon. "I hope Felix can get as strong as that some day."

"I'm sure he will be." Wendy replied, stretching her arms over her head. "I mean the rest of your team is pretty strong already. Even in the time we've been together, I know your team has gotten stronger than when I first saw them. I bet you'll kick Gardenia's butt when you challenge her. By the way, that's another thing she likes."

"What, losing her Gym battles?"

"No, getting spanked. Gardenia gets really into that." Wendy covered her mouth to try and stop herself from laughing as Tyler collapsed on the blanket with his face blushing the same color as Yuri's flower, but it was clear she wasn't going to succeed.

"Dammit stop telling me things like that!" Tyler groaned as he sat up again. "I don't want to be in the middle of my match with Gardenia and trying to think of a strategy to beat her. And then all I can think of is how she likes to get tied up and spanked."

"Yeah, that would be pretty funny." Wendy teasingly placed her arm around Tyler's shoulder. "But I'd rather you think about me over her. Even though I'll admit, it's hard for even me to take my eyes off her sometimes."

"Then don't plant those kinds of thoughts in my head! It's still my first Gym battle. Even with all the type matchups I have, she has much more experience than I do. If I can't focus or come up with a strategy on what I need to do, I can't beat her."

"So why don't we do that then? Let's go have a quickie to help you focus better."

"HUH?! Y-y-you mean r-right now!" The words fumbled out of Tyler's mouth as Wendy nodded at him while she stretched. "B-but we're in public! We can't-"

"Sure we can, why not right here?" Wendy looked out at the open field they were sitting in. "This spot is practically perfect."

"There's people right there!" Tyler protested, pointing towards a walking path that had about half a dozen people on it at various spots, a few of them with Pokémon of their own.

"So, I don't mind if people watch." Wendy started walking towards base of the oak tree. "Now come on, Yuri and I haven't had a chance to have fun like this in a while. Chop chop Tyler!"

"Oh God… I don't know what's worse; the fact that you're putting me up to this, or the fact that I'm going along with it." Tyler buried his head in his hands, finally standing up and walking towards where Wendy was waiting.

"Tyler? Where are you going? You can't be this close to me if we're having a battle." Tyler froze in place, the heated blush that was in his face draining into confusion.

"Wait… we're having a battle?"

"Yes! Me and Yuri versus you and Felix so the two of you can get in sync with each other and, you can come up with an idea about battling against Gardenia's Pokémon. What did you think I meant when I said 'Let's go have a…" Instead of laughing at Tyler, which is what he expected Wendy to do, she just coyly raised her hand to her lips and slyly looked at her boyfriend. "I mean we could do that too if that's what you were thinking would help you focus better. I'm fine with that, and I don't think Yuri would mind getting involved either."

"No no, that's not… necessary." Tyler mumbled, taking a few steps back to a more appropriate Pokémon battle distance. "I'd rather go with your suggestion."

"I dunno, I kind of like your idea more than mine now."

"Can we just have a Pokémon battle please?" Wendy snickered to herself as Tyler called for Felix to come over for his debut fight.

"You sure you don't want to-"

"Yes I'm sure!" Tyler yelled a bit louder than he wanted, feeling the eyes of some passersby on the walking path looking at him. "Alright Felix, you and me are having our first fight today. If you can show me the same craftiness that you showed yesterday, we'll make a pretty good team."

"G-lie Gligar!" Felix saluted Tyler with his claw, while his trainer reached into his pocket and pulled out his P*DA.

"Probably should have done this yesterday, but let me take a look at what you're capable of before we get started." Tyler saw that another alert notification had popped up by one of the menus like it had when Caelum learned Brave Bird yesterday. It was next to the Pokémon tab and Tyler clicked on it, finding Felix had his own tab already registered in the P*DA.

"Okay then let's see what moves you know. I remember Faint Attack and Sand Attack, from yesterday. And there's Quick Attack too. But I don't remember Fury Cutter at all. Can I get a demonstration real quick on that tree?"

"Gligar!" Felix jumped up and threw his claws out, catching the breeze in his webbed wings and glided towards the oak tree Wendy was standing beneath. His claws took on a crimson hue as he flew past, smacking the side of the tree with one of them, looping around and smacking the other side with the opposite claw.

"Oh okay, that's Fury Cutter. I remember that now. That's cool, not to mention a Bug type move that can be pretty helpful against Grass types. Now let's fight Felix!"

"Gli – gar!"

"I know it has been a while since we fought together Yuri, but are you ready to go?"

"Lilly!" Yuri nodded her head and stood in front of her trainer. As she got before Felix, she politely bowed towards him much like she had when meeting Tyler earlier.

"Feel free to make the first move Tyler. Yuri and I are ready."

"Alright then, Felix use Quick Attack!" Felix nodded at his trainer before leaping back in the air and flying towards Yuri with a white glow around his body.

"Yuri, dodge him!" As Felix approached, Yuri tried dodging to the right, but Felix was too quick for her, hitting her head with the side of his claw. The Flowering Pokémon shook herself back to alertness, watching Felix lazily loop back towards his trainer's side. "Good effort Yuri. I know we're still a bit rusty, but we'll be fine once we get this fight in your tempo."

"Then we'll just have to beat you before that happens. Felix use Fury Cutter!" Felix nodded, crossing his claws together and throwing them out with a crimson aura surrounding them before diving towards the Lilligant.

"Stay nimble Yuri; just keep trying to dodge the attack!" Yuri began slowly swaying back and forth as the flying scorpion approached her. She continued swaying until the last moment when she jumped left, catching a glancing blow from one of Felix's claws. She shook off the attack, refocusing on the Gligar as he sharply looped around for another attack. This time, Yuri hopped backwards from the approaching attack, making Felix swing early and allowing her to dodge as he soared past her.

"There you go Yuri! Now let's really turn up the tempo, use Quiver Dance!"

"Lilly!" Yuri increased the speed of her swaying; throwing her hips out each time she rocked back and forth. She then would tuck her hands into her body and spin around in a quick circle before repeating the process at a faster pace.

"Yeah! Shake it girl!" Wendy let out a whimsical laugh as she began to copy her Pokémon's dancing. "You still got it Yuri!"

"What the hell are you doing?" Tyler asked sounding quite annoyed. "I thought we were having a Pokémon battle, not a dance competition."

"That's what we are doing." Wendy quickly spun around and shot a flirty wink at Tyler as her Lilligant did the same. "See, Yuri's ability is Own Tempo, meaning that the best way for us to fight is for me to change my tempo to match hers. And the best way I can do that is to dance with her. Besides it's fun… if you can actually dance that is." Tyler felt his eye start twitching at Wendy's comment, which only intensified as Wendy slowly, raised her arms up her body and over her head. Like her Pokémon was, Wendy began spinning in a slow circle again, this time shaking her hips and ass in a circle of their own.

"How does it feel to know that a Pokémon can out dance you Tyler?"

"It feels like Felix and I are going to kick your overconfident ass! Quick Attack Felix, and go full throttle!"

"Gar!" Felix's body surrounded itself in the familiar white glow as he raced towards the still dancing flower from its side. But despite supposedly attacking from the blind side of a distracted opponent, Yuri was able to effortlessly dodge the attack with an elegant sidestep. At his trainer's outraged cry, Felix looped high into the sky for another attack. Felix rolled over and tucked his arms in for his descent, falling faster than before. He leveled out at ground level, rocketing towards the spinning Lilligant, but again failed to hit his target as she actually jumped over him, landing gracefully and bowing to Wendy.

"I told you Tyler, our dancing isn't just an act, and you're about to see our special brand of teamwork. Use Teeter Dance!" Yuri spun around on one foot, stopping and beginning a brief hula dance that Wendy quickly began doing herself. Soon, Yuri's body began glowing in a soft green outline and Felix's did as well which greatly surprised Tyler. The hue didn't last long, but after it disappeared, Felix's gliding became wobbly and unstable, almost like he couldn't remember how to glide on the wind anymore.

"Felix? What's going on? Are you okay?" Tyler asked as the scorpion continued to stumble through the sky.

"That's Yuri's Teeter Dance for you." Wendy laughed gleefully as the Pokémon ended her dance. "It confuses all Pokémon who get caught watching Yuri's dance. And I'm afraid it's only going to get worse if you can't handle this Tyler." Wendy told him as they both watched Felix struggle to stay aloft. "Gardenia's Grass type Pokémon are exceptionally skilled at using status moves to turn the tide in their favor. That's why I wanted you to fight Yuri since her strategy uses status moves to our advantage."

"We'll just have to try and fight through it. Just focus on flying right now, nothing else!" Felix meekly replied to his trainer's call trying to hold a stable flight path. He felt where the breeze was coming from and flew into it, using the cross breeze to help him, but he was still wobbling.

"Just because you're confused doesn't mean I'm letting up though. Yuri, show them your Petal Dance!"

"Lilligant!" Yuri's normal dancing sped up again, with her beginning to spin around so fast her body became a green blur. All of a sudden the red bloom on her head glowed a faint pink color and rose petals began spiraling off her body, quickly filling the air around her on an arc towards Felix. It didn't take long for the barrage of rose petals to engulf the scorpion and surround him, pelting him across his entire body.

"Get out of there Felix, use Quick Attack!" A pained cry met Tyler's response as Felix folded his arms in and fell towards the ground. He broke free of the petal cage and spread his arms back out again, catching the wind and heading towards Yuri. "Focus Felix, that's all you need to do!"

"G-lie!" Felix stared intently at the lightly dancing flower and threw a claw out as he approached, barely leaving a scratch on Yuri as she spun out of the way. But he kept going, making a sharp spin of his own into Yuri's dodge and hit her from behind, halting her dance but at the same time knocking him out of the sky.

"Not bad Felix, that was pretty good." Wendy said applauding her opponent's effort. "But our dance isn't over. Petal Dance again!" After her momentary stumble, Wendy's Lilligant sprang back into form with another wave of rose petals surrounding her body and launching towards the defenseless Gligar, making him cry out in pain yet again.

"We need to create an opening if we want to get back into this fight. Close the gap and use Sand Attack!" Felix struggled to get up again with the rose petals assaulting him, but he found the strength to stand and fly above the attack. He hung in the air a moment, trying to shake the stars from his eyes before finding Yuri on the battlefield and flying low towards her. When he approached, his claw dragged into the grass, pulling up some dirt with it and threw it towards the Lilligant. Her dance halted again as Yuri let out a pained cry of her own and threw her arms up to her eyes.

"Now Faint Attack!" With Yuri distracted, Felix looped low to the ground behind the oak tree out of sight. But as he returned, his claws were glowing a bright red color as he approached a second time. "Fury Cutter? No I said Faint Attack!" But Felix didn't hear his trainer, raising his pincer claw at Yuri for an attack. His swing came earlier than even Tyler expected though, coming well before Yuri and actually hitting the ground from how low he was flying. With his crashing in the ground, Felix rolled over in to Yuri, tackling her in an awkward looking sprawl that left the Gligar trapped beneath Yuri's body.

"Why you… how dare you stop our dance like that! Wendy yelled, throwing her arms down angrily in a huff. "I don't care if this is training anymore, you'll pay for that. Use Giga Drain Yuri!" Lilly reached down to the Gligar beneath her and as she touched Felix, both their bodies became surrounded in a red outline. The scorpion's body twitched and he let out another pained cry as what little energy was left in him seemed to fade away and heal Yuri, as her body began sparkling. It didn't last much longer than that, as the energy faded and Felix remained motionless while Yuri got off him, bowing politely to her defeated foe before waltzing over to Wendy's side.

"Well that could have gone better." Tyler frowned looking at Felix's motionless body on his jog over to him. "You okay Felix?"

"Gli – gar…" Felix weekly responded, but even amid defeat still had his smile glued to his face, even saluting Tyler as he picked him up.

"That was really good for a first battle Felix. We may not have hit her that much, but you took some pretty strong attacks and kept fighting. Rest up okay, you've earned it." Tyler told his Pokémon as he returned him to his ball.

"Sorry." Wendy apologized as she and Yuri approached. "I know you were trying to get some training in but we may have gotten a bit too into the battle just now."

"Lilligant." Yuri added a courtesy of her own to her trainer's apology but Tyler dismissively brushed it off.

"Don't be, Felix looked like he had fun and you guys certainly looked like you were having a blast."

"Well you know, Yuri is such a good dancer I just can't help but get caught up in the moment when she's out there doing her thing. She was born with dance fever after all. Shame you can't catch it though."

"Must you remind me of that?" Tyler sighed remembering his not-dancing the other day. "Still, it's been a while since we left. I think our mousse has set back in our room."

"Oh my God yes! Let's go! Let's go! I can't wait to eat it!" Tyler almost fell over as Wendy excitedly ran past him towards the jogging trail. A smirk came to Tyler's lips as he shrugged his shoulders and his Pokémon chased after him and the excited woman who had continued racing ahead of them without holding back.

A/N: So there you go guys. Chapter 24 is in the books. By the way Wendy, you're absolutely right, caramel cupcakes are absolutely fantastic. Best desert ever.

Wendy: I know right?! Oh my God, I mean caramel is just so good already. But when you put it in a super fluffy cupcake... I'm getting sad just thinking about how I can't have one right now.

Tyler: You're saying it wrong. It's pronounced car-mel. You're saying it weird.

Wendy: Then what about the 'a' in the middle of caramel? You have to say it with the 'a'. It's car-a-mel.

Tyler: You don't need to pronounce the 'a'. It's silent.

Wendy: No it isn't!

DrPhill26: Are you two really arguing over this? Can't we just agree that caramel is delicious?

Tyler: See! Phil says it right. It's car-mel.

Wendy: No he's not, you're both wrong! It's car-a-mel. Get it right already!

DrPhill26: You're really arguing over this...

Tyler: Car-mel!

Wendy: Car-a-mel!

DrPhill26: Oh for the love of... screw this, I'm out. Thanks for reading this chapter you guys. This is DrPhill signing out, I hope you all had some fun and that I'll get to see you all again next time.
