It was Bella's first day at Forks High School, and she had to admit she was a bit nervous.

So when she first laid her eyes on the Cullens, she was surprised, to say the least, to see that she wasn't the most awkward one at the school.

"Who are they?" Bella asked Jessica, motioning towards their table.

"Oh, those are the Cullens." She said, as if they weren't important.

"Why are they sitting all alone?" Bella had many other questions, but this seemed like the most appropriate, to say the least.

"Nobody knows, really." Jessica leaned in closer, lowering her voice for dramatic effect. "Some say that they just really hate other people. Some say they simply value family and all that crap. But the theory I most agree with is that they're all part of some secret cult."

Bella thought it was silly to come up with "theories" on why people chose to limit themselves from the social field, but was intrigued,

nevertheless.

"A cult?" Bella repeated.

Jessica nodded. Bella continued.

"Why do you think that?"

Jessica's eyes widened, as if this was a stupid question. "Have you seen them? They're all sitting alone, for one thing, but they also are super secretive all the time, like they're hiding something."

"Or like they're coming up with secret plans," Angela interjected, wonder in her voice.

"Yeah, secret plans," Jessica agreed, but looked a bit aggravated at Angela for interrupting her. "But most of all is their rules. They have certain rules for what they wear, as if they have their own uniform system, or something. That is the most cult-ish thing you can do."

"So you think they're in a cult… because of how they dress?" Bella asked, dumbfounded.

Jessica and Angela nodded.

"Their rules are crazy, though." Angela explained. "For example, I only see them wear jeans on Fridays. Plus, Rosalie only wears her hair in a ponytail once a week."

"And the most outlandish of all," Jessica grinned, "Is their rule for today. Wednesday."

Bella glanced back at the Cullens' table, attempting to find our today's rule. It didn't take her that long. The boy with copper hair was wearing a raspberry sweater, as was the blond boy. The pixie like girl had a soft, pink cardigan, and the blond girl was wearing a hot pink blazer. The dark haired boy had a white top on, but under that he wore (you guessed it) pink pants.

Jessica voiced Bella's thoughts before she even turned her head back to the table.

"On Wednesdays, they wear pink."
