Luke was sitting on the top deck sipping his strawberry sundae. He was contemplating about the variable that had literally walked on board this ship. Naruto was something that he had planned for; he had planned to take out the Uzumaki family or at least find a way to take over the ship with minimal lose of life. Also without the gods noticing all the while.

'Not that they won't notice given time and what I am going to start.' Luke thought as he glared towards the direction of New York. He had gotten out of camp via the labyrinth and had a limited amount of time in order to take over the ship while at the same time get back to camp with no one the wiser. Dionsyus never paid any close attention to the camp and Chiron was away. Teaching Latin at some school called Yancy Academy. However he was going to return once school was out and that meant that Luke had only a few days to finish and get back.

His sibling in Hermes cabin could only cover for him for so long.

"tsk."

"Hiya Luke, can we join you?" Luke turned towards the owner of the voice. It was Naruto and some red hair girl with trays that were full. Luke could only stare at the, at least, twelve bowls of ramen. Luke grunted but none the less nodded. As they sat down Luke eyes the duo. The girl seemed mad about something and Naruto was digging into his meal like a starving person.

"So who's the girl?" Luke asked.

"I'm Garaa." Luke was slightly taken back by the girls cold tone. The girl, Garaa, turned her head towards Naruto. "You know, it is proper for one to buy the meal that a girl eats. Not making her pay for it."

"Huh?"

"Well I'm Luke" Luke said seeing the danger that Naruto was in. It helps that one had peers with dating habits and traveling with two demigoddess with knowing on how to avoid a females wrath. Garaa tipped her head towards him.

"Nice to met you."

"So Garaa, are you going to tell Naruto that you are the Garaa that he knows?"

"Shut up racoon. There is no way that Naruto cannot tell that I am the same person that he had met in Konoha. Only a idiot or a fool-"

"Hey Garaa I just realized something. You remind me of my friend I know that lives in a village called Suna. He even looks like you and has the same name. Man, I wish I could see his reaction when I tell him I met a female version of him."

"...You were saying?"

"...Shut up..." Garaa thought about using her sand so that Naruto could tell that she was the 'boy' that he had befriended. 'Why did I spend so much time in a form of a boy again? Oh, right, because for some reason most males think that girls are weak or fragile. Also my father thought that the village weapon needed to be male.'

Garaa took a bit out of her sandwich and listened to Naruto strike up a conversation with Luke. For some reason she was on edge everything she looked at him. Like he was dangerous or something to be avoided at all costs. As she chewed she listened.

"So you live at a summer camp as a cabin counselor?"

"Yeah. It is cool and fun and all, but the cabin is falling apart because there is very little room left."

"Why? I mean, there has to be more than one cabin at your camp right? Or you should build more."

"...I rather not talk about it... And how did you eat all that ramen so fast anyway?" Luke asked as he stared at the empty bowls in front of him. Naruto just tilled his head in confusion. "Forget I asked."

"Naruto!" The trio turned there heads towards the shout and Naruto was tackled by Mononoke and her sister. "Dad wants you to meet him about something important."

"Can it wait?" Naruto asked as he saw the look in Garaa's eyes and her eyebrow was twitching. Naruto was clueless and dumb when it came to females, but after being hit by Sakura after getting looks like that, he was smart enough to flee.

"No. Daddy said to bring you to him even if you on a date with your girl friend." Moka said sternly for a little kid. Garra's and Naruto's faces flushed bright red and Luke roared with laughter at the duo's mistaken relationship. He knew just by looking at their body language that they weren't together, but the red head seemed to be showing signs of desire to be.

'By the gods this is more fun then watching Chales Beckendorf and Silena Beauregard interact.' Luke thought as he watched with a smirk as Garaa and Naruto stuttered and denied the claim that they were together.

"Maybe you should see want your...?"

"Uncle."

"Oh, what your uncle wants Naruto. It may be worth your time." Luke looked at Naruto to see what he would do. Garaa was glaring at her food and Naruto had sweat dripping down his face.

"Is it ok if I go?" He asked Garaa. "I mean, we were going to talk..."

"It's ok." Garaa gave Naruto a small smile. "It's not as if we will not run into each other again. We are on a boat after all. Just make sure to come back here or I will kick your ass into tomorrow."

Naruto smiled, nodded, and left. Luke and Garaa watched him leave with his cousins and then Luke turned towards Garaa.

"Not. A. Word." Garaa's glare turned cold as she spoke.

Luke shuddered. "I didn't say anything."

"So what did you need me for anyway." Naruto asked his uncle. He just chuckled and waved his hand towards a chair. Frowning, Naruto sat down and Totoro sat down on another chair.

Totoro looked Naruto in the eyes. "Naruto," he began slowly. "I know we said that we all were going to the Caribbean, but there's been a complication. My mother, your grandma, has fallen gravely ill and as soon as we reach the port in Boston myself and the rest of the family are getting off the ship to take her to the hospital. In any case you can choose either to come with the rest of us or not to."

Naruto was quite for a few seconds. "I thought that the girls came and got me because you had a gift for me. Not that you were abandoning me." Naruto started to hyperventilate. Seeing this Totoro pulled his nephew into a hug and silently cursed in his mind. He had forgotten that Naruto was still emotionally scared and even thought Naruto could keep a good lid on it, he was prone to attacks. Totoro knew that Naruto could be scared for life if he didn't get over it. And that would take some time.

"None of us are. We're family Naruto, none of us are going to be leaving you."

"Promise?"

"I promise that as long as all of us live no one is going to be abandoned." Naruto smiled and Totoro did as well.

"Are you two done grinning like a pair of looney tunes? 'Cause I have something to give to Naruto before you give him your gift." Kuna said as she entered the room. Naruto stared at her. Kuna was dressed in armor and had a strange sword strapped to her side. A half purple cape hung from the side and held by the crook of her left arm was a helmet. There was also an eagle medal that was hanging as a necklace.

"Aunt Kuna, what are you wearing?"

Kuna smiled. "This is my old armor when I was the praetor of the twelfth legion. And I know you have questions hear me out first." Kuna went into a lengthily speech on how the roman gods weren't myths but were real and moved with the heart of the west. How the legion was the camp for demigods and legacies of the gods and a safe heaven from monsters. How the children are raised in legion in order to protect the memory of Rome. Kuna talked on how that Moka, Mononoke, and Jack would one day join the legion when they got older. She also explained how the legion worked and more. When she was done she waited for Naruto to absorb the information.

"So I am a child of a god? Or at least a legacy?"

Kuna and Totoro were able to keep their eyes from rolling. "Yes Naruto. You are a legacy of several roman gods. Do to a law they have we cannot tell you who those immortals are. Only they can when you join the legion fully." Kunasaid as she gave Naruto a small smile. "Here is my gift."

Kuna handed a scroll to Naruto. Naruto saw that it was sealed and started to open it. "Stop Naruto. That is a letter of recommendation that I wrote so that you can get a good place in the legion and a good job. It is enchanted to stay with you until you reach New Rome. Give it only to the preator of the legion or who they say to give it too. No one else."

Naruto nodded and placed the letter in his pocket. Totoro cleared his throat and Naruto looked at him. Totoro only smiled and pushed a sheet of paper towards Naruto. Naruto picked up and read it. His jaw fell lower and lower until it was fully opened. "This is..."

"The deed to the ship Naruto. Congratulations, your own your first multi million dollar cruse liner." Totoro smiled at Naruto. Naruto just looked at his anut and unlce with swirls for eyes and a mouth moving like a fish.

"I think you broke him dear." Kuna giggled as she looked at her nephew's face. She then walked over to her husband and grabbed his hair, bring her lips crashing into her husbands. Naruto, seeing this grabbed the deed and fled the area to escape the actions of his aunt and uncle. As the door closed he could hear grunts and moans coming from the room that he was in. 'That was close.' He thought as he walked away from their lovemaking in their suite.

As soon as they were sure that Naruto was gone the two love birds pulled away from each other. "Wow." Totoro said as he gulped for breathe. "You haven't kissed me like that ever sense we had the kids."

"Well maybe I wanted to give you a gift as well dear. Mmm." Kuna moaned as her husband rubbed her ass.

"And I cannot wait to open it."

"Well you better wait. I need to tell you something about the seal on Naruto."

"Oh," Totoro said before he began nibbling at his wife's neck. "And what is that?"

"Aahh... W-w-well there's... Ooh... the broken Eight Trigrams Sealing Style.. Stop kissing me."

"Sorry."

"Anyway, theirs the seal that contained the kyubi as we know. However I found another seal on Naruto hidden by the broken parts of his old seal."

"Know what it holds?"

"Yes, and Naruto will know in a few days or weeks. What ever it contains... It's alive."

Naruto came back to his friends and saw that they were talking deeply about something. He did not see the look of terror that Luke kept shooting at Garaa. Garaa was all smiles when she saw Naruto. "Garaa, Luke." Stated Naruto as he sat down.

"Something wrong?" Asked Luke. Naruto placed the paper on the table and moved it towards him.

Luke picked it up and looked it over. "Oh," was all he said before he passed the paper over to Garaa. 'This is bad. I don't want to hurt Naruto but I need this ship. Maybe I should have Alabaster use the mist on Naruto...'

"Naruto what are you going to do with a ship anyway?" Asked Garaa, taking Luke from his thoughts.

"I was just let it continue the day by day stuff on its own without my help until I get older. I really don't want to deal with unneeded work until I am ready." Luke signed in relief. He got up and Naruto looked at him. "You leaving?"

"Yeah, I have stuff to do. See you around."

"Bye." Naruto and Garaa watched as Luke walked away. An uneasy quite formed around the duo as they remembered what the girls said earlier. "So we had about an hour before sunset so what do you want to do?"

"Want to try the poker tables?"

"Naw, the bloody security wouldn't let me play after they found me. I mean really, I was winning several million and I almost doubled it before they dragged me away." Garaa gave a small smile when she looked at Naruto's pouting face.

'He's cute when he pouts like that.' She thought as Naruto grumbled about stupid laws and anti-winning freaks.

"Why haven't you told him that the Garaa he knows is you?" Garaa found herself in her mind scape with Shukaku towering over her.

"Because can you think of a more better prank? I mean, imagine Naruto's face when he finds out." The tailed beast hummed at Garaa's words. As he thought over her words, Garaa looked around her mindscape. Before she had met the woman that claimed to be her mother her mind was like an endless desert with dried and cracked ground. Shukaku was in a simple box that had many holes in it. Now the land was green with plant life and Shukaku was the size of a normal raccoon with a collar. He was happier here because of all the fruit that was in the trees. because of that he promised not to take over Garaa in her sleep as long as she kept the changes to the mind scape.

"Fine. But when you do reveal the truth, make sure that you record his facial expression." At his host's look he signed. "It's for proprietaries sake."

"Ah." Garaa exited out of her mind scape and looked for Naruto. Seeing that he was looking out over the sea she got an idea. She walked over to him and pressed her breasts on his back. "So what are you looking at?"

Naruto wondered why Garaa was so close to him. "I'm looking at that pod of whales." Garaa looked where he was pointing and saw the pod. It was a small pod, that see could see, about three members.

"Know what kind?"

"They are North Atlantic right whales." Naruto and Garaa turned to the voice that spoke up. It was a man and a woman and both were looking at the pod. The man spoke again. "At present, they are among the most endangered whales in the world. Do to human hunting and shipping this species of whale is endangered and may not stay around for another hundred years without help."

Naruto blinked. "I didn't know that. I never been this far out into the ocean and I admit that I don't know much."

The woman smiled. "Well there is a time for anything. If you want you can ask us anything about the seas until we get to Florida."

"...Are you two some sort of sea experts?" Asked Garaa.

The adults looked at each other, then back towards Garaa and Naruto. "You could say that."

The man reached out with his hand. "You can call me Edward. And this is my wife..."

"Janet."

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki and this is Garaa." Said Naruto with a grin. Edwards eyes twinkled.

"So maelstrom whirlpool, yes?" Naruto nodded and Edward's lips pulled up into a grin. However his eyes flashed with something that the ninjas could not identify. He was going to say something but his wife grabbed his arm.

"It was nice to meet you two. Don't be strangers." Spoke the woman as she digged her fingers into her husbands arm.

"Nice to meet you kids... Ow ow ow. You made your point left go of me." Garaa and Naruto watched as Janet dragged her husband away towards the deck dinner.

"That was odd," Naruto said. He turned towards Garaa. "By the way, what happened between you and Luke anyway. I know that I was gone for a long time but he seemed terrified of you."

Garaa gave a secretive smile. "That's for me to know and for you not to. Luke will not tell you if you were planing to ask." 'I was.' "Besides..." Garaa started to walk away swaying her hips. "Sometimes one needs a little mystery."

Naruto's eyes narrowed. He hated mysteries as they sometimes meant that there was something to be gained. Then again, some secrets were better left untouched, but she was challenging him to fin out. And Uzumaki Naruto never shirks away from a challenge. "I will get you to tell me."

Garaa triwled around and stuck her tongue out at Naruto. "Make me."

"I plan to." Garaa laughed and ran away. Naruto growled and gave chase. He had to know.

Luke was sitting in his cabin looking over the water though his window.

"Report."

"The plan has been enacted, my lord. The mist is doing its work and once the ship has reached the Caribbean you can begin loading monsters and unhappy demigods. The ones that own the ship know nothing and I am in a position to make sure that no one will discover our plan to other throw the Olympians."

"Good. The pieces are falling into place well boy. Do not fail me again like you did with the master bolt. Make sure that all loose ends are taken care of and get back to the camp."
