No, I have not abandoned this story. Just the lack of interest I have is drawing out the chapters for this story. And also I am unsure about how you readers feel about this story. Lack of reviews are a part of this. So this story is slowly fading out of my to do list. I will still update unless it becomes clear that this story is a sinking and burning down ship in a storm.

Any way, this is the next installment of the legacy. (I have discovered I do better doing a thousand words or more at a time)

-Inside Naruto's mind-

Naruto wondered if he had gone off the deep end after he had gotten his head slammed into the ground by Sasuke. His life had been interesting since the day he had be born and now he he was wondering if the gods were just bored and were using him to spice up their lives. Looking around his personal mindscape he stared towards an area that he had never entered before. Water lapped his heels as he went down the tunnel. The further he went, the more the elevation changed until he was walking at a 55 degree angle upwards. The water was long gone and he had lost track of where he was.

'Maybe I should head back,' he thought as he took a seat and lied his back against the wall. A distant sound of something clashing down echoed down the tunnel. 'What was that?'

Naruto looked towards where the sound the came from. A patch of the wall had collapsed, reviling a hidden room. Heading towards the room, Naruto peaked inside. There was bed and table that looked like they were passed down and well care for. There was a suit of armor which had a design that Naruto never seen before... If he hadn't been taught Ancient History by his grandmother. It was armor that looked like a Greek would had worn in the past. On the wall closest to Naruto, was a shield, several spears, and a bow with a sheath full of arrows. Maps were hanging off the walls with various tactics on them for war.

'What is this place?'

"What are you doing lad?"

"AAAAAH!" Naruto screamed as he fell down. There before him was a man that he had never seen before, sitting on a chair in the corner of the room that Naruto was unable to see until he fell do to the angle he was seeing from. "Who are you! What are you doing here? What is this room!?" Naruto ask/demand as he pointed a finger towards the man.

"First of all, I am you. Well, a past life of you in any case. I am here become of the fact that you are an idiot-" "I resent that remark!" "-And I am going to make you for here, both in mind and by your mother's genes, my legacy. This room is where I been for most of your life."

"Your legacy? Buddy, I have no idea of who you are." Naruto growled as he raised his fists. With a roar, he raced forward to attack the older blonde.

"You are sloppy." The man said as he leaned over to avoid the blow. He raised his arm to block a kick, which Naruto used to swing around to attack him with his other leg. The man smirked as Naruto attacked him with determination. "But in time I will rectify that. Your training during your time in the village was sabotaged on purpose, so that you would be easy to kill when it came, and it did, to it."

Naruto jumped back to give himself room and change tactics. The man was prepared and drew his sword while ramming his shoulder into Naruto's chest. Naruto let out a oopf as he was hit. He raised his hands over his head clutched together and slammed the man into the ground with blow to the head. The man however used the forced to do a flip and slammed the heels of his saddles into Naruto face, breaking Naruto's nose. He then swiped at naruto with his sword, cutting open Naruto's belly. It wasn't a deep cut as it wasn't deep to harm any major organs, it was deep to cut the muscles and left untreated it would have Naruto bleeding out.

"Think fast!" Naruto roared as he threw a smoke bomb at the man's face, then rolling to his feet and racing towards the spear. The man cut the bomb, setting it off. He cursed as the smoke blinded him to Naruto's actions.

But not his ears.

Hearing Naruto's foot falls, the man threw his sword sheath at Naruto, hitting the small of his back. Naruto fell to the ground and skidded the last few feet, hitting his head on the wall. His left hand reached out and grasped the spear that fell on him when he hit the wall. Naruto acted fast and got to his feet, blocking a under-left swipe of the man's sword.

"I hope we can find a cure for Naruto soon. Although he is rather cute in this form." Renya said as she held Naruto's sleeping body. His tail wagged back and forth as he slept in her arms.

"Don't let him hear that. He had a break down when he discovered that he was a fox kit." Garaa hissed at her companion.

Yes, Naruto was a three month old fox kit. One that was pretty much nearly helpless. He had a bushy tail and a soft coat of orange red fur. His sisters, to make sure that they wouldn't lose him, made him a leash and collar. With a pink, pink, bow.

They thought it was cute. His pride as a male was hurt because of this, but it was made up by his ninja prankster side.

"I wonder what he is dreaming of." Hylla asked as she poke and prodded the flames of the camp fire. Naruto's sisters lied nearby, sound asleep cuddling.

"You are a pain, you know that." Naruto spat out as he got up.

The man rolled his eyes as he shot an arrow at the boy. Naruto somersaulted and used the spear to fling himself at the man. "And you are a brat that makes up plans on the fly, without thinking of the long term goal." The man ducked as Naruto flew over his head. As he did, the man nailed him him between the legs. Naruto's eyes busted into tears and he fell, holding onto his enflamed man hood. However, he quickly bursted into smoke. 'A shadow clone, eh? That means he is learning.'

"Rasengen!" Naruto shouted as he tried to attack the man with his attack. The man grabbed Naruto's wrist and used naruto momentum to judo flip the boy over, dispelling the attack an pinning naruto to the ground.

"I grow tired of this. You have done much damage to my place of resistance and your mind." The man said as he sat on Naruto's back.

"...Fine, but get off me."

The man rolled his shoulders and got up. "Sure."

Naruto rose and dusted himself off. The man walked over to the bed and sat down. "So, what is your name?" Naruto asked.

"I did tell you... Didn't I?" At Naruto shaking of his head, the man sighed. "As I said, I am you, a past life of you. In another age, in another land and time, I was once the greatest general in history. Only by becoming dead off the battle field was I stopped."

"Who are you then?"

The man stood proud as he boldly declared, "I am he known as Alexander the Great."

A short chapter, but now you know what the title means.
