This was long overdue wasn't it so with out further ado the third chapter of the fear of your light

Chapter 3 : the dragon

(Lucy POV)

" so can I ask you something Lucy " I heard happy calling as I was getting on the train, I looked at him giving the 'sure ask away' look " what are you exactly going to do when you leave Fiore I mean you really didn't say anything about why are you out of prison, weren't you sentenced for eternity?"

" oh that.." Real smart Lucy so you got out of your cell went with your uncle and parted ways with Fairy Tail and you still don't know why are you out, yup I'm smart.

Sighing I looked at uncle Meliodas who has gotten comfortable in his seat " you still have got to tell me about the favor you wanted to ask" he looked at me and smiled as repositioned himself in his seat

" well... For starters you're coming with me to Britannia" uncle Mel then looked at happy before continuing " and you well join the eight deadly sins"

" the eight deadly...sins?" I asked and happy looked at me confused " they're a group of eight sinners who have been brought together by King Lioness' power vision " he explained " so Lucy is one of them?" Happy asked and we both looked at him.

" well actually she is the last to join " Uncle Mel said "and that's because?".

" well first you're in Fiore which is a whole two weeks travel and second was because we weren't able to pin point who exactly was the eighth, the descriptions were vague" somehow I couldn't believe the "descriptions were vague" thing.

" so how did you know it was me if they were unclear as you say?" I asked, wanting to get an answer he just looked away annoyed.

" the King said...look for the Dragon blood welder and you shall find the eight sin" uncle Meliodas then looked at me with a disappointed look, " blood welder?" Happy asked confused his little paws rested on my thigh and he looked uncomfortable with the mood.

" can you tell me how the fuck did you end up in that cell?, knowing you I thought you would've hid the fact that you were a welder how did you screw up?" the blonde demon said as he looked at, but I wasn't looking at him my eyes were glued on the floor.

Memories came in my head rushing in like waves, and they were painful the last three and half years were hell.

"I was framed with a crime I didn't commit that was all" I said wanting to drop the subject, it seems that it wasn't working as I took a look at my uncle he wasn't convinced with it " so was it just framed or you got outed as a blood welder?" The blonde man asked.

"So if you know why ask in the first place?" I said and Uncle Meliodas looked away, shortly after we stopped talking and the train ride was quiet till we reached our first stop

Time skip 1 day ( Lucy's POV)

"Luce~~~" happy called me I looked up from my book to see what he wanted" can I ask you something?" I nodded for him to continue" what really happened ?" He said, and I lost all interest I had in my book.

Siting my book aside I looked at happy before I said " what do you mean with what really happened?" I asked, though I think I know what he meant.

" with the Council, and your imprisonment and you and Natsu, then, this" he said well I don't blame him for it, I want to know what happened too, I mean I was doing well hiding my own secret and was doing great as a wizard , then all of a sudden my world came crashing down.

" well before any thing, I have to ask you, do you know what is a blood welder?" I asked happy he looked at me for a minute before he answered " they are people who have monsters sealed inside of them, right?" He looked at me for confirmation and I just nodded " you see my dads family, the Heartfilia family were in control of the blood dragon Radix, the dragon offered them blessings of healing and regenerating and offered them protection from the demon clan in exchange of a vessel to contain him, they started offering him a vessel for thousands of years and every vessel would end up burning in mere years of living in them"

" wait he wanted to be sealed why?!" Happy asked shocked by the story" don't know it's said that he was weird and thought weirdly" happy sighed and looked at me as if to say continue the story " since every vessel he was given would end up burning from the intensity of the dragons blood, he went berserk, and that drew in the attention of my Mother, see my mom was in reality a demon from the demon clan and she witnessed the holy war from 3000 year..-..""WHAT!?" Happy yelled in shock as he looked at me.

God his reaction was priceless!, well then again it's not every day that you find out that your best friends mother is a demon " wait does that mean you are a demon Lucy?" He asked.

I nodded my head in conformation " actually, I'm half a demon my dad's a human, any way as I've said my mom was part of the demon clan she was the only daughter of the demon king, she heard of the dragon radix ability and his massive powers so she went to see it for her self"

" so she wasn't a part of the heartfilia family originally?" Happy looked at me for an answer " yeah, she wasn't a part of the family until she met Malcolm" "Malcolm?" He looked at me with a puzzled look

" Malcolm was, my mothers first husband who was the head of the Heartfilia family at the time of the holy war, he was also one of the chosen vessels for radix, he met my mom when she came to kill him to get the dragon, since you get an unimaginable power from being radix's vessel he overpowered my Mother and had her looked up afterwards for three years, all while checking on her and visiting her every giving chance, eventually they fell in love and my mother swore her loyalty to the Heartfilia family, and they got married after my mother became the official vessel for radix, but this came with one condition, that the oldest child of Layla would become the next in line to succeed as a vessel and her blood line starting with me would continue to carry the dragon within us." I finished the last part with a sigh.

Happy looked at me with a sad smile, I patted him on the head and said " you know it's not that bad what I had to go through so don't get so down over something in the past" he looked at me again but this time he had watery eyes" what's wrong buddy" I asked" Lucy I heard something from levy about you being a welder" he said with a shaky breath " is..is it true that once you get to control the power that the dragon gives you and his blood merges with you will you live forever" he asked looking at me

Sighing I answered " it's true...in fact it already happened."

God now where done with that!

Sorry that took a lot to upload nearly four years..yeah sorry my fault

It's just for a long while I lost interest in drawing and writing

And become more involved in music recently I started producing and making my first mixtape.

So yeah I just want to finish this but I won't upload frequently a lot since I got stuck on what to do
